Kanye West & Tory Lanez Prayed Together Over The Phone, Ye Claims In Rant

Before Tory Lanez was convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in December of last year, his case was already one of the biggest of the decade so far. Whether it was for the high-profile nature of both sides or the back-and-forth accusations over tampered evidence, bias, and more, it was a firestorm to witness. It also prompted many folks in similarly “canceled” situations to side with the Canadian artist, and there is no one more firmly in that category than Kanye West. During a recent and wild rant at the listening event for his Ty Dolla $ign collab album Vultures in Las Vegas, he mentioned Tory at one point and how they linked.

“A lot of people have s**t to say about my Jewish comments,” Kanye West exclaimed. “But ain’t nobody in this motherf***ing room, and none of y’all entertainer n***as, ever said nothing when I was praying to see my kids. One of the last things, uh… What’s my n***a that got locked up for the Megan Thee Stallion s**t? Okay, look, so Tory Lanez, we used to have prayers on the phone together. And I prayed that day– and y’all saw that s**t. When I couldn’t see Chicago, too.

“All y’all n***as on Instagram got some s**t to say,” Kanye West continued. “Y’all n***as saw that s**t. Don’t tell me about my f***ing political opinion. I made more money to show you that money ain’t nothing. It’s our money, n***a! It’s our country, n***a, it’s how they stole it from us!” Of course, it’s unclear from this rant when Ye and Tory actually linked up to pray over the phone. Since it was over the phone, though, we’d safely bet that this was once the latter was in prison.

Meanwhile, the Chicago rapper’s rant also targeted Nicki Minaj for not clearing the song “New Body” for this upcoming project. Considering his past antics, this seems like another “line in the sand” moment where he might not drop Vultures anymore. We still haven’t decided whether that’s a good or bad thing. Travis Barker Leaves Blink-182 Tour Due To Family Matters, Posts Pic Of Prayer Room

Travis Barker shocked blink-182 fans recently when he abruptly departed from the legendary pop-punk group’s European tour. Moreover, the band announced that they had to postpone shows in Dublin, Belfast, and Glasgow due to the drummer’s inability to attend given an “urgent family matter.” Before this came out, though, Barker posted a series of cryptic images of a prayer room. The first picture showed a door with the sign “Prayer Room. All welcome” alongside a picture of a kneeling person. In addition, the 47-year-old also uploaded snapshots of a stained glass window and a “Together we pray” banner.

Furthermore, fans reportedly linked these images to a prayer room at the Glasgow Airport. While it’s unclear what prompted this exit from Travis Barker, we know that he and his wife Kourtney Kardashian are expecting a child soon. Hopefully this emergency isn’t as unfortunate as it sounds, and the artist finds himself in a good place. Page Six, who reported on this story, reached out to the couple’s representatives for comments, of which none have come forward as of writing this article.

Despite this worrisome news, the celebrity pairing is very excited for this new chapter in their life, bringing fans into that process as well. For example, Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian recently learned the baby’s birth gender (spoiler alert: it’s a boy) and shared footage with their followers. Not only that, but apparently their public displays of affection for the cameras are exactly the same when they’re away, further giving credence to the idea that they’re madly in love. Page Six recently interviewed musical collaborator Pardyalone, who spoke on their lovey-dovey antics.

“They’re PDA as f**k,” he remarked. “They will not stop kissing, for real. I’m like, ‘Yo, chill.’ It’s so real. It’s probably more real [than what fans see on TV]. In real life, they really are, like, sucking face all the time. I haven’t really had a chance to talk to Travis but congrats, bro! YNW Melly Update: Alleged Killer Appears To Pray Before Jurors Enter Courtroom

Ahead of his second day in court, YNW Melly’s team shared a post to his Instagram page not only promoting the live stream of the proceedings but also asking for prayers for the embattled artist. Melly – real name Jamell Demons – can rest assured that at least a few of his over four million followers sent him their well wishes, but that didn’t stop him from seemingly praying for himself as well. In a clip from Law & Crime‘s coverage of the double murder trial reposted to @nojumper, Melly appears to take a moment to calm down and connect with God before quickly freshening up his outfit.

“Before jurors entered the courtroom this morning, @YNWMelly appeared to pray, holding his hands to his face then slowly lowering them to his side,” reporters wrote on Twitter this afternoon (June 13). “He later closed his eyes and took a deep breath,” they added. As the clip continues to circulate on social media, some critics are speculating that Demons was actually conducting a spell of some sort. Those with more empathy remarked that sitting on trial with a death sentence weighing on your shoulders has to be “the world feeling ever.”

According to other reports from the courthouse, Melly has been “all smiles” since returning from his lunch break today. “He is known for his charismatic appeal. It’s on full display right now,” correspondent Bryson “Boom” Paul remarked. Elsewhere, the journalist has been taking note of Boosie Badazz’s demeanour during testimony.

The Louisana native, who previously beat murder charges of his own in 2012, was in court on day one as well. At the time, he came annoyed with a man near him sleeping during the proceedings and failed to return after a break. Today, however, Boosie was notably serious as the prosecution questioned Tara Carroll, the crime scene investigator at Miramar P.D. So far, he’s the only rapper to show Demons any support.
