Post Malone Drops New Album ‘Twelve Carat Toothache’
After about three years, fans finally got a new project from Post Malone. Overnight (June 3), Post released his fourth studio album Twelve Carat Toothache. The 14-track project from Post includes features from The Weeknd, Roddy Ricch, Gunna, Doja Cat, The Kid LAROI, and more.
Post Malone took Instagram to share his excitement about his Twelve Carat Toothache a few weeks ago. He said that he “put his heart and soul into it and couldn’t wait for everybody to hear it,” He wanted everybody to hear it.” Now everybody can listen to it. Before the album’s release, he dropped “Cooped Up,” featuring Roddy Ricch, and “One Right Now” with The Weeknd.
Twelve Carat Toothache is Post Malone’s follow-up to his 2019’s Hollywood’s Bleeding. That album debuted at No. 1 on the weekly Billboard 200 chart dated Sept. 21, 2019, and spent five weeks at No. 1 during the 2019 chart year. In a recent interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, the “White Iverson” rapper said that this album “album is his “favorite” body of work to date. Hopefully, it will share the same success as his previous albums. Listen to Twelve Carat Toothache below.

Post Malone Says He’s Distanced Himself From Social Media: ‘That’s Really Impacted My Life’
Days away from the release of his fourth studio album, Twelve Carat Toothache, Post Malone is getting candid. In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Malone spoke on fatherhood, how he feels about the sound of his own voice, and his thoughts on social media.
When asked about TikTok, Malone admitted that he enjoys scrolling through clips. However, he doesn’t feel that making his own videos comes naturally.
“There’s so many different ways to get people to listen to your music,” Malone said. “And TikTok is so f*cking huge… And you have people check on my new song and it goes f*cking viral and that changes people’s lives. And you discover talented people on there and everything. But it’s just so hard for me to make something natural. And it’s just so interesting. It’s interesting to hear [Halsey’s] opinion on that.”
Malone is referring to a series of TikTok videos Halsey recently posted, claiming their record label wouldn’t allow them to release their single, “So Good,” without the song first getting a viral TikTok moment.
Continuing his spiel on TikTok, and social media in general, Malone said. “I just think it’s my personal opinion and the changes that I’ve made mentally to distance myself from that and that’s really impacted my life in a positive way. It’s just whatever makes your comfortable because at the end of the day, you just got to be comfortable with what you’re doing. And social media is something that I’m not super comfortable with.”

Post Malone Is Looking Forward To Being A ‘DILF’: ‘I’m Going To Be A Hot Dad’
Ahead of his upcoming fourth studio album, Twelve Carat Toothache, Post Malone sat down with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe for an interview. This year is shaping up to be a big one for Malone, as he is dropping the album, which he said is his favorite, and is also expecting a baby.
When speaking to Lowe, Malone revealed that he’s looking forward to being a father, and that he has been waiting for this day since he was a child. He even shared stories of carrying a baby doll when he was a child.
“I would take him around everywhere,” Malone said. “And I don’t know how long that lasted. But my mom still has it. And I guess, Zane, I’m so pumped up. I’m going to be a hot dad.”
There’s another term for that,” Lowe replied.
“DILF?” said Malone.
While fans and Malone himself are eager for new music, it’s safe to assume the Dallas-bred rapper won’t have this record in heavy rotation. Malone admitted that it’s difficult to listen to his own music, as he isn’t fond of the way he sounds.
“I am so shy. I’m so shy listening to any of my songs, unless I’m sitting down and I’m like, ‘I’m going to listen to these records now,’” Malone said. “This interview, I probably won’t even watch unless I’m hammered because I cannot stand the sound of my own voice.”

Post Malone Met Either An Alien Or A Ghost On His Compound In Utah
Post Malone‘s got a new album, Twelve Carat Toothache, coming out next week (what a great title), so naturally, he’s on a press tour to promote it after putting out the first single, “Cooped Up.” And because he’s Post Malone and thus drawn to doing things in unconventional ways, his first stop is none other than Complex’s Hot Ones. While chomping on ultra-spicy chicken tendies with Sean Evans, Posty chops it up about his new album’s recording process, playing Magic The Gathering, and yes, meeting an alien at his Utah compound — unless it was really a ghost.
The story comes up as Sean asks about his “close encounters with wildlife” out there in the hills of Utah, leading to Post recounting his trials with a “big mama cougar” who keeps finding ways over (or under, around, or possibly even through) his pet-protecting fence. “It’s supposed to keep all the wildlife out but somehow, this big cougar keeps getting in,” he recalls, before dropping the bomb. “Also, there was an alien there.” Obviously tickled by Sean’s bemusement, Post elaborates, “Not like a physical alien, but like a ball — I think it was an alien. Or a ghost. We caught it on the infrared camera. Does an alien count as wildlife?”
Post compares the “orb” to Sauron’s Eye from The Lord Of The Rings, which plays into his love of fantasy fiction.
