Post Malone’s new album, Twelve Carat Toothache, will make a No. 2 debut on the Billboard 200. The album is Malone’s fourth straight top-five debut.

Toothache sold nearly 121,000 equivalent album units in the first week. Streaming equivalent units provided 98,000 of that number. Album sales brought in 21,000 and TEA units brought in 2,000. Twelve Carat Toothache was preceded by one Billboard Hot 100 top 10-charting single, The Weeknd’s “One Right Now.”

Reclaiming the top spot on the charts is Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti, with a 137,000 equivalent album unit week and becomes the first album of the year to exceed 1000,000 units in each of its first five weeks.

Post Malone Smokes Up To 80 Cigarettes A Day

We all have habits that don’t serve our health, and for Post Malone, one of those is smoking. He’s often seen with a cigarette in his hand and now we know a bit more about just how much smoking he does.

On a recent episode of the Full Send Podcast, Malone was asked how many cigarettes he smokes daily and he answered, “On a really terrible day? There’s a very fine line between a terrible day and a good day… 40, 45. By the time I ask Ben for that second pack, I’m like, ‘Alright dude, chill out,” right, you know? But then by the time I open that third pack, I’m like, ‘I’m a total piece of sh*t and I need to go to sleep.’”

As for the most cigarettes he’s smoked in a day, Malone estimates the number is “probably like 80.” For reference, the CDC previously reported that in 2016, the average number of cigarettes smoked per day by “daily smokers” was 14.

Malone also added (as HotNewHipHop notes), “I used to [smoke them in bed], but not really anymore. Now I have like a special zone — it has like my PC in it and my Magic: The Gathering sh*t, so I just go down there and f*cking rip cigs and build decks and die in Apex Legends. It definitely has [messed up my voice], but I mean, Johnny Cash smoked his whole life [and] he sounded cool, you know?”

This reveal comes shortly after he and Seth Meyers did some day drinking on Late Night.

Post Malone Has A Wholesome Day Drinking Session With Seth Meyers

Post Malone just released his new album Twelve Carat Toothache, and that title in itself proves his charming wit that pulls people in. So naturally he happily joined Seth Meyers for a day drinking session to both promote that LP and have a great time.

The most memorable part of the video is Post’s infectious, wholesome laughter, but there are a lot of great moments with the pair: Post gives Meyers face tattoos with a Sharpie, Meyers makes Post drink a beverage full of hot sauce and vinegar, Post talks about his brand of rosé. The video brings out Post’s charismatic, down-to-earth energy that fans love.

A similar Post Malone moment was when he recently said he was excited to be a DILF when speaking with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. The rapper was sharing stories of carrying a baby doll when he was a child and said, “I would take him around everywhere. And I don’t know how long that lasted. But my mom still has it. And I guess, Zane, I’m so pumped up. I’m going to be a hot dad.”

Post Malone Drops Off Two New Songs On The ‘Twelve Carat Toothache’ Deluxe Edition

We are now just a few days removed from the release of Post Malone’s new album Twelve Carat Toothache, which he dropped on Friday. Already, though, he has expanded the LP by dropping a deluxe edition today, which adds two new songs to the tracklist.

Taking to Twitter and Instagram (and even Reddit) yesterday, Malone declared, “2 new songs tonight,” and offered a 30-second preview of one of the songs, “Waiting For Never.” The other song is called “Hateful.”

“Waiting For Never” is an emotional, lovelorn tune on which Posty sings, “When all these tattoos fade / I will never look back, you’ll be in thе same place / I keep tellin’ mysеlf if I wanted you to change / I’d be waiting for never, waiting for never.” Then there’s “Hateful,” a more hip-hop-leaning and aggressive tune that also deals with issues of love.

Of the base Twelve Carat Toothache album, Malone previously told Billboard, “Trying to shove 20 to 25 songs, it doesn’t work. Talking to the label [it’s like], ‘Oh, if you have less songs, you’re not going to stream as much,’ but the whole thing is that you don’t want to compromise your art and your gut vibe on anything. I’ve made a lot of compromises, especially musically, but now I don’t feel like I want to anymore. I don’t need a No. 1; that doesn’t matter to me no more, and at a point, it did.”

Post Malone Borders On Unhinged In The ‘Insane’ Video

This past Friday, Post Malone released his fourth album, Twelve Carat Toothache. The fourteen track collection is a reflection of the “Sunflower” singer’s eclectic tastes and features a number of collaborations including “One Right Now” with The Weeknd, “Cooped Up” with Roddy Rich, “I Like You (A Happier Song)” with Doja Cat, and “Love/Hate Letter To Alcohol” with Fleet Foxes. The album explores the emotional wavelengths we’ve all been riding in the past two pandemic-addled years and it’s never for a lack of honesty from Malone.

Now, the rapper has just released the new video for “Insane,” and it sees Posty bordering on unhinged. In the clip, Malone is barefoot and wearing only his house pants in the evening poolside. He dances maniacally to the track, either mimicking inebriation or feeling himself after knocking back a few. He vigorously smokes a cigarette and puts his hand down the front of his pants multiple times a la Al Bundy. But if he’s teetering in the balance, he’s doing so in a sheerly blissful state throughout. It’s a pure expressionist moment from Posty as he cheekily raps lines like, “I got 20, 30 strippers in the Sprinter van / It’s a little cramped to try to teach me how to dance.”
