Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance Tour’ Dancers: Here’s Everything You Need To Know

Beyoncé’s massive Renaissance Tour is currently making its way across Europe, and fans are loving it. Between her dressing up as an actual bee to riding around on a tank, she pulled out all the stops on this one once again. The shows also wouldn’t be anything without the backup dancers, who have been with her through the rehearsal process and beyond.

Yesterday, the full credits for the tour were revealed — giving even more insight into who’s on her crew.

Here is everything to know about Beyoncé’s dancers during this tour.

Who Are Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour Dancers?

Les Twins, also known as twin brothers Laurent and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois, returned to join another Beyoncé tour. The two appeared during the “7/11” interlude, starting at her opening night in Stockholm. They also returned to dance with her to “Thique.”

Honey Balenciaga has been another popular favorite of the tour dancers. She notably appears during the Ballroom segment, as well as some additional musical numbers. On Beyoncé’s website, she is credited as part of The Dolls, alongside Carlos Irizarry, Darius Hickman, and Jonté Moaning.

Another notable credit is the Dance Captain, Hannah Douglass.

Beyoncé’s full rest of the list of dancers include Aahkilah Cornelius, Ai Shimatsu, Aliya Janel, Alannah Wilhite, Amari Marshall, Brianna Pavon, Kyndall Harris, Lisa Sainvil, Nerita McFarlane, Simone Alston, Trinity Joy, Jus’t Chase, Kevin “Konkrete” Davis Jr., Rob Bynes, and Zavion Brown.

What Have Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour Dancers Said About The Tour?

Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour dancers talking about the actual tour has been a little hard to find. However, Les Twins have spoken about her in past interviews, regarding how she chooses dancers for musical numbers. “Before, we was in every number,” they told Revolt TV. “After that, she was like, ‘I want you in just this one, this one, and this one.’ Two-hour show, I come only three times. She’s like, ‘You’re a star to me. When you come through, it’s a wrap. You cannot be in every number.’ And I started to understand.”

How Much Do Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour Dancers Get Paid?

While it’s unclear how much Beyoncé’s dancers are also getting paid on this tour, it is likely higher than before. Back in 2020, Rolling Stone had reported that her and other high-profile artists weren’t giving dancers very much. Her choreographer, JaQuel Knight, has previously pushed back against reports of her also only paying $250-per-day at shoots.

“Please run me the production company, the choreographer, the shoot dates, the dancers that have rehearsed and are shooting for these rates,” he responded. And, considering it’s a full tour rather than a shoot, there’s likely a high salary set.

Beyoncé And Jay-Z Reportedly Just Bought The Most Expensive House Ever Sold In California

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are making some serious headlines today, after TMZ reported that the couple bought not only a new house in California, but the most expensive one ever sold in the entire state for $200 million.

According to the outlet, they beat out the previously held record of $177 million for an estate sale. And, while it’s not the most expensive deal in the country (that record’s held by one in NYC for $238 million), it is now in second place.

Spanning eight acres, the property is located with a Pacific Ocean view on Paradise Cove — which they note is known as Billionaire’s Row. It was initially listed for $295 million. It had originally been built and owned by the art collector William Bell, with the design coming from the Japanese architect Tadao Ando. The house also reportedly took about fifteen years to be built.

Based on photos of the property, they also have a massive backyard just in front of the ocean.

The latest collection to the power musician duo’s real estate portfolio, it follows their 2017 purchase of a mansion in Bel-Air for $88 million. However, now that the news has broke, fans on social media are divided by the large-scale amount.

Rihanna Went Topless For A Racy Maternity Photoshoot: ‘Here’s A Little Series I Call ‘Rub On Ya Titties”

Rihanna has had a strong past few months. Just the possibility of her presence stopped Pedro Pascal in his tracks, she’s climbing her way up the RIAA ranks, there’s a great new wax figure of her, she made the Forbes billionaires list, and it was announced she’s starring in a new Smurfs movie. Yes, times are good, and now they’ve gotten even better: Rihanna’s currently getting a lot of attention for her revealing new maternity shoot, much of which is topless.

In an Instagram gallery shared yesterday (May 18), Rihanna wrote, “here’s a little series I call ‘Rub on ya titties.’ in honor of my first pregnancy, embracing motherhood like a g, and the magic that this body made! Baby RZA… he in there not having a clue how nuts his mama is, or how obsessed he was bout to make me #maternityshoot2022 #tobecontinued.”

The photos were taken in a tropical-looking environment and feature Rihanna in a barely-there bikini, topless in some shots but covering her breasts with her hands in all of them. As Rihanna noted, the pics are also from 2022, when she was pregnant with her and ASAP Rocky’s first child, RZA.

As of this post, in the approximately 13 hours since the gallery was shared on Instagram, it has racked up about 9.9 million likes.

Lizzo Explained How She’s Not Trying To ‘Escape Fatness’ By Working Out: ‘I Don’t Ever Want To Be Thin’

Lizzo is one of the brightest stars in music, but that doesn’t prevent her from regularly dealing with conversations about her body, like when somebody shared a naked photo last month in an attempt to body-shame her. Now, she has taken a couple minutes to speak out about her fitness habits and goals.

In a TikTok post stitching a video from another user, Lizzo said, “Heavy on the not trying to escape fatness. Heavy… f*cking… on it. I just wanted to stitch this to show support to you because this creator, specifically, said, ‘I’m looking for people that I can resonate with.’ Very, very same.”

After explaining that he has “a very high-performance job” that requires “a lot of physical endurance,” she continued, “As I got more professional in my career, I started to take the physical part more seriously. I’ve always loved moving my body, I’ve always loved working out. […] I think a lot of people see a fat person that way and immediately just assume everything they are doing is trying to be thin. I’m not trying to be thin, I don’t ever want to be thin.”

Good Guy Post Malone Reportedly Helped A Fan Put A Down Payment On A Home

Post Malone helped a fan in a major way. During a recent trip to Scotland earlier this month, the “Chemical” singer met a fan by the name of Gregor Hunter Coleman in Glasgow’s Wunderbar, according to a report from BBC. Coleman was reportedly singing in the pub and was invited to meet Post following his set. The two were said to have immediately hit it off.

“He said, ‘Do you want a drink?,’” Coleman said. “I was like, ‘Listen, I’m saving for a house so I’m not drinking just now.’ Which was daft, my mates were, like, ‘Why did you turn down a drink from Post Malone?’”

Post then reportedly asked Coleman to sing at his after party the following night.

“He started saying, ‘How much will you charge,’” recalled Coleman. “I said ‘Nothing, it’s Post Malone, this is the chance of a lifetime.’”

After further conversation, Post “got talking to [Coleman] and he offered to help [him] out with my house deposit.” Though, the amount Post reportedly contributed hasn’t been disclosed, and Coleman is keeping mum on that.

Meanwhile, Post is gearing up for the release of his fifth studio album, Austin, as well as an upcoming North American tour.

The Weeknd Was Undoubtedly Surprised By The Success Of ‘Blinding Lights’ Because He Thought ‘It Was Gonna Be A Flop’

Abel Tesfaye said that he plans to kill off his musical persona, The Weeknd, to venture into other creative realms. Of course, it doesn’t hurt to graciously bow out on top after becoming the first artist to cross 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify. However, despite the milestones he’s reached, there are still some accomplishments that even shocked him.

During an interview with Vanity Fair, the musician confessed that he was undoubtedly surprised by the success of one of his biggest songs. “I thought ‘Blinding Lights’ was gonna be a flop,” Tesfaye said.

Co-produced by Max Martin and Oscar Holter, “Blinding Lights” was the second single released off The Weeknd’s After Hours album. According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the song is now certified diamond after selling 10 million copies.

With an unpredictable boost from TikTok, the entertainer is excited to see how the younger demographic has latched onto his work and the music he was inspired by.

“It’s a new generation of angsty teens discovering all the dark music like when I was 14,” he said. “Kurt Cobain, Wu-Tang, and all these songs that, as a kid, I probably shouldn’t be listening to, and 50 Cent. This f*cking dark and amazing escape.”

Only time will tell if The Weeknd truly retires from music.

The Weeknd Slammed A ‘Ridiculous’ ‘Rolling Stone’ Article About Alleged Issues With His HBO Show, ‘The Idol’

The Weeknd (aka Abel Tesfaye) did a new interview with Vanity Fair, ahead of his upcoming HBO show, The Idol, premiering at Cannes this week. However, the series, which Tesfaye stars in, has encountered some controversy along the way.

A few months ago, Rolling Stone came out with an article that alleged it had gone “wildly, disgustingly off the rails.” Sources also claimed that there were tons of rewrites and reshoots from showrunner Sam Levinson (Euphoria) that turned it into “twisted torture porn.”

“It was like any rape fantasy that any toxic man would have in the show, and then the woman comes back for more because it makes her music better,” one source claimed.

Just a few hours after the piece gained traction, Tesfaye pushed back on social media, using a clip from The Idol where his character calls the publication irrelevant. During his Coachella appearance at Metro Boomin’s set, he skipped over the Rolling Stone lyric of “Heartless.” Now, he’s continuing to make his thoughts clear.

“I thought the article was ridiculous,” Tesfaye said in the Vanity Fair interview. “I wanted to give a ridiculous response to it.”

“I actually really loved working with Amy [Seimetz],” he added, touching upon a claim about tensions with Seimetz, who departed the show during the early production process, “and I’m sure she’s reading all this being like, ‘Why am I being thrown into this?’”

Tesfaye’s The Idol is set to begin airing on Max starting June 4.
