Raven-Symone Reveals She Had A Seizure During Breast Reduction

During a recent episode of Raven-Symone’s podcast, The Best Podcast Ever, she revealed that she went under the knife before the age of 18. According to the former child star, she had been receiving negative comments about her weight during her time on That’s So Raven. This led her her to explore surgical fixes. She decided to get liposuction, as well as a surgical breast reduction. She says that her father was in support of, and even recommended, that she have her breasts reduced.

“There was paperwork involved,” she explained. “My dad suggested strongly that I should get my breasts reduced. He was like, ‘So you don’t feel bad, is there anything that you want?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, if I get lipo, will people stop calling me fat?’” Raven continued, “So I got a twofer. It was just a mess, just being that young and the pain of it all.”

Raven-Symone Got Plastic Surgery To Combat Weight Criticism

On top of getting the procedures done at a young age, Raven also suffered a traumatic experience during one surgery. She had a seizure, which she says she still fears to this day. “I remember waking up and seeing everything … and then I just started to have this dry mouth and couldn’t breathe and went back under,” she revealed. Though the experience was frightening, she went on to get an additional breast reduction. She was still under 18 for the second, which she got when she gained weight after her first one.

Raven-Symone has been open in the past about how growing up on television impacted her self-perception. Clearly, being under a microscope at a young age introduces new pressures to a young person. Body-shaming was also particularly rampant in the early 2000s, when That’s So Raven was airing. Now that she’s grown up and started to open up about her experience, she’s shedding light on a lot of issues that continue to plague young people, and even adults, in the industry.

Latto Gets A Personal Trainer Instead Of Plastic Surgery

Celebrities have plenty of tactics for making sure they always look their best. Two of those routes that many have taken in the past are plastic surgeries and expensive personal trainers. In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Latto discussed facing this crossroad for herself. While she has gotten plastic surgery before in the past, Latto said in the interview that she decided against doing it again. She’s instead confident that turning to a personal trainer to help her nail down the right routines is the best way to stay in her absolute best form.

Recently there’s been yet another discussion about the safety of plastic surgeries. Wild ‘n Out star Jacky Oh passed away earlier this month after reportedly undergoing a combination of surgeries in Miami. Just a few days ago the plastic surgeon involved spoke out for the first time since her tragic death. His failure to mention her directly in the statement rubbed some of her family members the wrong way. Given those events, it’s unsurprising that Latto and some others are having second thoughts about their plastic surgeries.

Latto has released two new singles this year. She led off 2023 with “Lottery” alongside Lu Kala and followed it up with “Put It On Da Floor.” A few weeks ago Cardi B joined her for a remix of the latter which is fittingly called “Put It On Da Floor Again.” The song debuted at #13 on the Hot 100 last week and already has over 6 million streams on Spotify. The song attracted even more attention yesterday when Yung Miami dropped her own verse over the songs beat in an Instagram post.

Last week we learned that Latto was stretching her talents even further into the world of TV. She will make a cameo appearance alongside NLE Choppa in the final season of Grown-ish. What do you think of Latto’s decision to hire a personal trainer instead of undergoing plastic surgery? Let us know in the comment section below.

Jacky Oh’s Plastic Surgeon Speaks Out For The First Time Since Her Tragic Death

It’s already been two weeks since Jacky Oh’s unexpected death left her partner, DC Young Fly, a single father of three children. Thanks to his strong support system and unwavering faith in God, the comedian has been moving through the situation with grace. Nevertheless, it’s been challenging to lose his other half – especially after seeing Dr. Zach Okhah’s first statement about the situation. The plastic surgeon spoke out on Friday (June 16). Since then, many social media users have made it known that they’re unimpressed with his comments.

“To all my past, current, and prospective patients, PH-1 Miami remains devoted to the highest quality of medical care,” he wrote. “All aesthetic procedures are performed in a hygienically safe environment to universally recognized medical standards.” Furthermore, Okhah made it clear that he’s “relentlessly committed to advancing techniques in the realm of plastic surgery.” Because of this, he and his staff claim to “ensure that each patient is vetted, prepped, and treated according to their individual patient history prior to any surgery.”

Dr. Okhah’s mission is to “help patients achieve the best possible results in the safest and most medically appropriate way.” Of course, he makes no mention of Oh’s fatality in his post, nor does he offer condolences to her family. Comments have been turned off, but that hasn’t stopped people from ranting about the situation on their own profiles. From the last we heard, the investigation into the blonde beauty’s death is still ongoing.

As loved ones continue to mourn the late Jacky Oh, Azealia Banks is facing significant backlash for her comments. Not only are music lovers slamming the “212” hitmaker, but Banks was also clowned by Freddie Gibbs over her controversial rant. Read what he had to say at the link below, and check back later for more pop culture news updates. RIP.

Nicki Minaj Seemingly Confirms Breast Reduction: “New B**bs Who Dis?”

Nicki Minaj is a talented lyricist, no doubt, but a major part of the 40-year-old’s image has always been her body. After hanging out with Lil Wayne and other rappers in the early days of her career, she felt pressure to get butt injections in order to keep up with the women they were bringing around and praising. Minaj is clearly very confident in herself and has been candid about her history of cosmetic procedures. Rather than continuing to amp up her voluptuous figure, this weekend she seemingly revealed that she underwent a breast reduction.

As @theshaderoom reports, the “Moment 4 Life” artist expressed a desire to make her chest smaller after recovering from the birth of Papa Bear nearly three years ago. “I should’ve took them off then,” Minaj reflected during an Instagram Live session in 2022, revealing advice she got to get the surgery a while back from another woman in the industry. “Is you ready for that?” her friend asked. “Yes! A-cup season,” the Trinidadian joked, obviously desperate to get some weight off of her chest.

On Sunday (June 11), Minaj’s IG account lit up with a video teasing her and Ice Spice’s upcoming collaboration from the Barbie movie. Throughout the teaser, the Queen hitmaker shows off various makeup looks and outfits. Among them is a white tank top which she’s obviously opted out of wearing a bra under. Though she didn’t address the apparent difference in her chest in the original caption, Minaj did drop by the comments to write, “New boobs who dis?” unofficially confirming that she went through with her plans for a breast reduction.

In other news, Nicki Minaj is the latest celebrity to fall victim to a “swatting” prank, which she reportedly plans to take legal action over. It was revealed this past weekend that someone contacted the authorities with allegations of child abuse against the Queen of Rap, along with other untrue claims. Nicki Minaj’s Mom Starts Program For Domestic Violence Victims

According to the Department of Justice, intimate partner violence accounts for 15% of all violent crimes. Furthermore, 1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men will experience some sort of domestic abuse by an intimate partner. Additionally, the United Nations has found that rates of domestic violence have sharply risen during the Covid-19 pandemic. Domestic violence hotlines in the United States receive an average of 20,000 calls per day.

There are many campaigns both nationally and globally that try both try to prevent domestic violence. More campaigns aim to provide support to victims and survivors. In the United States, the National Domestic Violence Hotline can be reached at 800-799-7233. Furthermore, a new initiative is being launched by Nicki Minaj’s mother, Carol Maraj. Maraj experienced domestic violence both through witnessing her father’s abuse of her mother and through her own experiences at the hands of her husband, Robert.

Speaking at an NAACP Mother’s Day luncheon, Minaj spoke of her own experiences with domestic violence. “I saw my father hit my mother in the head with a flashlight and we just moved on like it was nothing. I came to America and realized this is abuse, this is domestic violence, I’ve been living.” The speech accompanied the announcement that Maraj was teaming up with plastic surgeon Dr. Scott Byler and the Islip chapter of the NAACP to provide free cosmetic procedures to the survivors of domestic violence.

This is being done through the Carol Maraj Foundation, which Majar founded in 2013. “We will give these victims a new start that includes helping to restore their physical confidence,” Maraj said. Dr. Byler also spoke at the event. “We’re going to be donating our services, all of my surgical fees and so forth will be free of charge for anyone who has the courage to step away from a situation where they were involved with domestic violence,” he said. Furthermore, a press statement noted that there would be no cap on the price of procedures. This means that those who utilized the service can get as much help as they needed.

Blac Chyna Reveals Dramatic Transformation Photos After Dissolving Facial Fillers

After celebrating her 35th birthday earlier this week, Blac Chyna – now known as Angela White – seems to have raised her vibration higher than ever before. In the months leading up to the big day, the reality star underwent several major procedures, including the removal of her butt injections and a reduction of her previously augmented breasts. On top of that, she had her Baphomet tattoo removed and visited a cosmetician to have her facial filler dissolved. While she still looks recognizable, there are distinguishable differences to Chyna’s new face and body that seem to have left her feeling confident.

To kick off her weekend, the mother of two shared a photo dump on Instagram, breaking down the difference in her face now to how it appeared after having some work done. In recent interviews, Chyna has compared herself to Jigsaw from the Saw franchise with so many injectables and many people online couldn’t help but agree. Now that she’s moved on from that chapter of her life, the Washington, D.C.-born entertainer is able to look back and laugh at her past decisions, encouraging her millions of followers to do the same. “Bruh 😂😅❤♾🙏🏽🏆 please slide,” she wrote in the caption of her before-and-after post.

Blac Chyna Reflects on Life Without Fillers

After showing off her transformation, White included a video message addressing those who have supported her through her recent changes. “Yo, why I was looking at old pictures you guys… That face was looking crazy. Like, that first picture? That was a few months before I took out all the filler,” she explained before turning the camera to give a close-up of her new side profile. “I look so much better,” she declared. “Like, ladies… That ain’t the way! The lips have went down, thank God. I love you guys,” Chyna quickly added before the clip cut off.

The former OnlyFans creator isn’t the only member of her family to switch up their look lately. Latto Owns Up To Plastic Surgery: “Not A Permanent Fix”

Latto recently spoke candidly about her plastic surgery in an interview, addressing the rumors that have been circulating about it. Her sister, Brooklyn Nikole, was a guest on Latto’s Apple Music 777 Radio show on Thursday and commented on how good Latto looked despite the recent procedure. “Because a bitch be looking natural,” the “Big Energy” rapper said in reply. “Because this one thing about it, if you going to do it, do it right. I’m going to do it right. I did it right. For a girl who have little tweaky tweaks, I be on your case about not touching nothing.” This is the first time Latto has been so open about her “tweaks.” Many have spoken about her procedures, but it has all been speculation until now. However, Latto makes it very clear in the interview that women must find peace in their natural selves first.

“I’m telling you… all the young girls listening, all the women listening right now,” she said. “I’m telling you from someone who’s been there, done it, find peace within your natural state. Because you’re going to find a flaw and another flaw and another flaw and another flaw. Surgery, any of that stuff is not a permanent fix.” Of course, Latto is speaking not about a permanent physical fix. She means that plastic surgery cannot fix your inner self if you don’t love yourself already. Many do not advocate for surgery at all. However, Latto seems to be doing it correctly by telling her listeners to focus on self-love before any type of surgical enhancement.

Latto’s Photoshop Drama

Latto has faced a lot of criticism recently. One of the biggest “scandals” she’s faced negativity for was the apparent editing of a photo of her Coachella crowd. Many pointed out that the rapper had shared two different versions of the same image from her performance. In one of them, some of the attendees appeared twice in the crowd. This suggested that Latto had tried to fill empty spaces in the photo by replicating crowd members.

Latto was quick to respond to the allegations of Photoshop. “Never photoshopped a crowd lmao,” she said in an Instagram story. “I expanded it so it would fit in my Instagram swipe without getting cut off but it was clearly f*cked up so I didn’t end up using it & just posted the wrong version by accident on Twitter babes.” While some fans didn’t believe her, the new interview on her radio show seems to indicate that Latto has no problem being completely honest. What do you think of her feelings about plastic surgery? Let us know in the comments!

Bhad Bhabie & Emily Ratajkowski Talk OnlyFans, Mama Drama, Plastic Surgery, And More

Emily Ratajkowski’s High Low podcast has welcomed a roster of impressive guests since launching last year. Among them are Diplo, Law Roach, Iggy Azalea, Amber Rose, and, most recently, Bhad Bhabie. The Florida native spoke with the mother of one in today’s (April 25) episode. As expected, she dished on everything from her unhealthy relationship with her mother to her controversial OnlyFans account, which she says she’s earned over $50 million from.

The “Gucci Flip Flops” hitmaker charges $23.99/month for a subscription, and while she’s made a pretty penny thanks to her NSFW content, she cautions others that they likely won’t find the same success so easily. “It’s situational. I was kept covered up for so long, right, with how they were making me dress and shit. And I was young. It’s creepy but at the same time…18 is 18. That’s what they said it was, so that’s what they said it was,” Bhabie – born Danielle Bregoli – told Ratajkowski. At the same time, she said that her mom “don’t care where [the money] comes from,” she just loves to have it.

EmRata and Bhad Bhabie Post Up On TikTok

According to the 19-year-old, Barbara Bregoli has narcissistic tendencies. “You know narcissists, they like a crowd figuratively and literally they like a crowd,” she said when recalling her appearance on Dr. Phil at age 13 that sparked Bhabie’s initial rise to fame. After talking to the TV personality about her attitude problem, the young girl was sent to Turn-About Ranch in Escalante, Utah, where she says she was forced to sleep “in a sleeping bag on a hard wooden plank” inside a teepee. The rap diva spent six months there, and once she returned, she realized how popular she had become online while she was away.

“Imagine you get home from being in this f*cking f*cked up place for f*cking six months and then you open your phone and go on Facebook and all you see is yourself, and you’re 13,” she ranted in today’s episode. Elsewhere, the OF content creator discussed her experience with plastic surgery, as well as her dislike of confrontation. Stream Bhad Bhabie’s full appearance on Emily Ratajkowski’s High Low podcast exclusively on Spotify below. Afterward, tell us who you’d like the model to interview in a future episode in the comments.
