Nicki Minaj Says She’s Texting Katt Williams “Right TF Now” After His Joke About Joining Her On Tour

Nicki Minaj reacted to Katt Williams’ joke about joining her on the Pink Friday 2 World Tour on her Instagram Story, on Tuesday. In doing so, she remarked that she was already messaging him about getting it done. Minaj first brought up the idea on Instagram Live, last month.

“Nicki Minaj said she wanted me on her tour and she told so many people,” Williams said during a performance. “A million people hit my phone at the same time. It scared me and Jesus. He shut all of AT&T down.” Sharing the clip on Instagram, Minaj added: “Texting him right tf now,” with a laughing emoji.

As for last month’s Instagram Live, Minaj said: “I know that this is the busiest man in show business. I know that he’s rich, and I know that he’s the funniest man in showbiz. Can y’all hit up Katt Williams and ask him what would be his price…to be a part of the Pink Friday 2 Gag City Tour?” She had been referencing his recent bombshell interview with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay where he spoke candidly on a variety of people in the entertainment industry. Check out Williams’ response as well as her post on IG below.

Katt Williams Had A Hilarious Response To Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday 2 World Tour’ Guest Opener Invite

On March 1, Nicki Minaj kicked off her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. Although the intense performance run features special guest Monica, the opening slot remains unfilled. Back in February, the “Beep Beep” rapper began to gauge her fan base to see who they felt would be a good fit.

Through a live stream, Minaj finally landed on “the busiest man in show business,” Katt Williams. During the broadcast, she urged her fans to relay her invitation. “Can y’all hit up Katt Williams,” she said. “Ask him what would be his price to be a part of the ‘Pink Friday 2 Gag City Tour?””

Well, Williams has finally responded to Minaj. On March 3, as part of his Dark Matter Tour stop in Charlotte, North Carolina, he made a hilarious joke about the potential business venture. “Nicki Minaj said she wanted me on her tour, and she told so many people a million people hit my phone at the same time,” he said. It scared me and Jesus. He shut all of AT&T down!”

Although Williams’ reply wasn’t exactly a proper yes or no, it was enough to hype ticketholders up online. There are still several dozen dates left on the Pink Friday 2 World Tour, but perhaps Williams would be down to join after he wraps up his contractual duties.

Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday 2 World Tour’ Opening Night Was Nearly Overshadowed After A Video Surfaced Of Fans Fighting At The Show

Nicki Minaj came out swinging to kick off her highly anticipated Pink Friday 2 World Tour.

Unfortunately, so did a few of her devoted super fans, the Barbs. As the “Beep Beep” rapper took to the Oakland Arena stage on March 1, clips of her opening performance quickly flooded social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter). But there was one video that stole all the spotlight, and it didn’t involve Minaj at all. A now-viral visual shared on the platform showed several concertgoers involved in a vicious brawl.

In the clip, two attendees are seen punching another ticketholder. The blows exchange as security watches from afar before eventually intervening to separate the parties. With tensions still high, the last frame of the video shows the individuals yelling while being held back before it ends.

It is unclear what initiated the incident as none of the individuals have been publicly identified. Minaj also hasn’t addressed the viral video. However, she did take a moment to pen a touching note to her fans for their continued support days later. “Dear Barbz, I love you,” she wrote. “I really do. Always have. Always will.”

Minaj has several dozen shows left on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. The next performance is slated for March 8 in Las Vegas, Nevada. View the full tour schedule (here), working setlist (here), and tour merch (here).

Nicki Minaj Shows Off Her Flexibility With An On-Stage Split During “Pink Friday 2” Show

One of the biggest tours of 2024 got underway earlier this month. Nicki Minaj took off on the back of her new album Pink Friday 2 with a tour of the same name. So far she’s played two shows in Oakland and Denver. Across the next few months, she’ll play a few dozen more shows across North America before taking off to Europe in May. Though the tour has only just gotten started, clips from the performances are already attracting plenty of attention online.

Earlier today, video started making the rounds online of an attention-grabbing piece of choreography from one of the shows. In the clip, Nicki shows off her flexibility by doing a split on stage in an incredibly revealing fit. Fans cheer her on as she takes her time descending to an almost full split. But her stopping short of that full split actually drew some criticisms from fans in the comments. “Did anyone else cringe?” and “Chillleee yall paid hundreds of dollars for this ?” two other comments read. Others compare her to some of her other female rap contemporaries. “Lmaoooo sis couldn’t do that center split. Meg and Cardi do it with no hesitation” another comment reads. Check out the video and the fan reactions to it below.

Nicki Minaj’s Almost Full Split

The very first show of the Pink Friday 2 tour was already quite an event. The show took place in Oakland and a video of Barbz brawling in the audience. TMZ shared a clip of a surprisingly large and intense fight that broke out in the stands, though security eventually swarmed in to break things up. Barbz in attendance also started a chant taking at aim at Latto, who Nicki has had beef with throughout the past year.

What do you think of the video of Nicki Minaj performing an almost full split? Do you think she should keep it in her choreography at forthcoming shows on the Pink Friday 2 tour? Let us know in the comment section below.

Nicki Minaj’s Viral Dance Choreographer Clears The Air After Being Called Out Online

Canadian internet personality Donté Colley has shared another update on the ongoing drama involving the dance choreography for Nicki Minaj’s “FTCU.” He claims he isn’t getting an opportunity to collaborate nor proper credit for his work on a dance for the track.

“I have an update,” he began in a new video. “So, let me get into it. I was reached out to by a member of her team and I wasn’t after payment for this. I was just looking for the opportunity to potentially collaborate and receive credit. Neither one of those options seemed possible and have been rejected. I want to thank you so much for your words of encouragement. Y’all saw something, knew it wasn’t right, and brought it to my attention and we should be uplifting and supporting each other and continuing to do so. So, I encourage other artists to seek credit for their work.”

Minaj previously addressed Colley’s request for credit in a tweet from last month. “I thought a lady Zara made it up?” she wrote at the time.”Thought she was an artist having fun w|it…? so glad barbz brought it2 my attention in time [making me proud as always]. I’ll have Casper reach out to this VERY TALENTED & seemingly VERY sweet guy ASAP to figure out the best way to make him feel seen, appreciated & paid.” From there, someone from Minaj’s team explained why they weren’t working with Colley on the tour. “Please STOP spreading false narratives,” they wrote on Twitter. “We offered to pay him as a choreographer even though it was less than 10 seconds of choreo that we altered. ALSO offered him tix to his hometown w/ a meet a greet. He declined all this & demanded a shoutout and to get dance on stage w/ her!”
