Kevin Durant Reflects On Time With Warriors

Kevin Durant made shockwaves when joining the Warriors back in 2016. Durant’s addition to the team clearly made them above and beyond everyone. Indeed the Warriors did become an issue for the league. The franchise won back-to-back titles. Unfortunately, a three-peat wasn’t in the cards as Durant and Klay Thompson’s injuries stopped the dynasty. Durant left Golden State after three years. Signing a deal with the Brooklyn Nets while rehabbing his Achilles injury.

Durant’s time with Golden State was short. However, his presence made for one of the more memorable runs for a franchise in NBA history. Although the team wasn’t desperate to add another superstar. The season before Durant joined the Warriors, the team broke the record for most wins in a single season with 73. Also, that same season, the Warriors eliminated Durant’s Thunder from the playoffs. Fans were quick to judge the decision Durant made to join the Warriors.

Kevin Durant Doesn’t Care What People Think

In a recent interview with The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Durant spoke about his decision to join Golden State. “When it comes to me, people are not going to think in a logical way or simply look at what I’ve done and say that’s it. They gotta add a narrative to it, they gotta push something to discredit me. Once I left to go to the Warriors, it’s been the gymnastics on how to discredit me every step of the way. It’s like, damn, that’s not even fun no more, like, engaging with people because y’all aren’t even being truthful. You move the goalpost every time, you expect the most out of me and if I don’t reach it I’m a failure. It’s like, what’s the problem,” Durant stated to Charania.

The decision was made, and Durant created history with Golden State. Undoubtedly the most dominant team in recent NBA history. If Durant would have decided to stay, there’s no telling how many titles the franchise would have by now. Especially since the team has won one even without Durant. How did you feel when Durant joined Golden State? Did you feel that the move was bad for the league? Tell us how you felt at the time in the comment section below. Kevin Durant’s Hilarious Reaction To CP3 Statement

Kevin Durant made his long-awaited return to the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night. After a freak accident caused Durant to miss time, the Suns are finally at full strength. It wasn’t the return that Durant or Suns fans had hoped for. However, don’t expect too many poor performances from the future Hall-of-Famer. Durant’s teammates don’t seem too worried about the performance. Chris Paul, Durant’s new point guard, had a little fun with his new teammate.

Paul spoke with the media on Durant’s offensive struggles on Wednesday night. During his comments, Paul took a fun shot at Durant. CP3 jokingly stated, “Most times, he’s just going to miss. Not too many people that’s ever going to make him miss. I’m probably one of the only people that used to do that.” After the comments, Paul grabs Durant’s attention to let him know what he said. All Durant could do was laugh off the situation.

Kevin Durant Has Fun With Poor Shooting Night

Team chemistry off the court isn’t an issue with the Suns. Paul and Durant have been around long enough to know these nights happen. Obviously, both players have more good nights than bad. Once Durant finds his rhythm again, the Suns will be a tough playoff elimination. Phoenix is getting healthy at the right time. With the playoffs just around the corner, health is the most vital positive for the team. Paul definitely has welcomed Durant to Phoenix with open arms.

It’s okay to laugh at yourself after a tough moment. Last game only proves that Durant is human. Not the Durantula character that many see him as on a nightly basis. The NBA season is a long one. Being serious night in and night out isn’t an attainable goal. The Suns have just five games remaining in the regular season before the NBA Finals quest begins. Do you think the Suns are a credible threat to winning the title? If not the Suns, who will be NBA Champion? Give us your predictions of the NBA Finals in the comment section below. Kevin Durant Wishes Former Team Well

Kevin Durant is still trying to find his footing in Phoenix. As the NBA All-Star is on the fourth team of his career. However, Durant still has good feelings for the Brooklyn Nets. The team that sent him to the Suns. But things didn’t go well at all during Durant’s time in Brooklyn. The Nets had one of the greatest teams ever assembled and ended up with nothing. With injuries and experiments with James Harden and Kyrie Irving failing. There was nowhere for the Nets to go. Trading Durant and starting over seemed like the sensible move.

Durant claims to hold no ill will with his former team. In a recent interview with The Athletic, Durant had plenty to say about his former team. “I hated it had to go down like that. I wasn’t trying to prove the Nets is a s–ty organization,” Durant stated. “Certain sh– just didn’t work out. I understand that. I’m not here trying to prove that the Nets was wrong, I think they did amazing by me the whole time I was there, not just with the trade.”

Kevin Durant Chooses To Be Kind Toward Nets

Durant’s assessment of his time in Brooklyn is spot on. Every decision made felt like it was snake bit from the start. KD even dealt with the most serious injury of his career from the start. The star forward injured his Achilles the year before joining the Nets. Undeniably, the Durant experience in Brooklyn will be forgotten by most. As for those who were a part of it, the experience will be more of what could have been. Durant now seems thrilled to be in Phoenix. The team will be chasing their first NBA Championship this post-season.

Kevin Durant has no hate in his heart for the experience he endured. So the Brooklyn Nets have moved on, and so has Durant. Some experiments fail, and that was the case in Brooklyn. However, if all the variables could have worked, the team was championship material. What are your thoughts on Durant’s time in Brooklyn? Is it the biggest missed opportunity in NBA history? Should Durant have known it was doomed to fail? Please let us know in the comment section below. For all the latest NBA news, continue to check out HNHH.

Devin Booker Gets Real About Kevin Durant Trade

The Phoenix Suns made the biggest trade in NBA history when the team landed Kevin Durant. Durant is arguably one of the best to ever lace up his shoes. Adding him to a team that is already a title contender has expectations high in Phoenix. It hasn’t been all roses since Durant arrived in the desert. The NBA All-Star is currently dealing with an injury that has sidelined him. Although Durant is set to return tonight, Devin Booker will gladly welcome him back. Booker recently talked about the big trade that brought Durant to Phoenix.

Sam Amick of The Athletic got the scoop on Booker’s thoughts on the Durant trade. In the interview, Booker mentioned how badly he wanted the trade to happen. Booker also mentioned how difficult it would be to lose guys who were already on the team. “We obviously got back one of the best players ever to play, but we lost a few young studs (to the Nets) too in Cam and Mikal (Bridges).” Losing two teammates that Booker had a lot of confidence in really was tough for the start to digest. However, Booker mentioned that this is a business, and as we all know, the main goal is a championship.

Phoenix’s Championship Opportunity

There’s no question that this Phoenix Suns roster has the potential to make a deep run in the NBA Playoffs. Two surefire Hall-of-Famers alongside Booker and Ayton. This isn’t a team that you would want to attempt to beat four times. Except, they could have a potential weakness. That being chemistry. With Durant not playing many games with his new team, chemistry could be a huge factor in any playoff success. Booker claims that chemistry won’t be an issue for the two. Booker credits Durant’s talents as a big reason that chemistry won’t be an issue for the team.

Devin Booker and Kevin Durant would be an NBA Jam dream. The potentially deadly duo is currently fourth in the Western Conference. With just a handful of games left, Durant’s return couldn’t be at a better time. Can the Suns run it all the way to the NBA Finals? Will chemistry be more of an issue than Booker is letting on? Only time will tell for this team. Feel free to let us know your thoughts on a Suns playoff run in the comments below. Stay tuned with HNHH for all your latest sports coverage.

Stephen A. Smith Makes Interesting NBA Finals Prediction

Stephen A. Smith has had a lot to talk about in regard to the NBA over the last few weeks. Overall, there has been a lot of player movement, especially when it comes to the trade deadline. Players like Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant were traded to new teams. Moreover, franchises like the Los Angeles Lakers got infinitely better as they shed themselves of Russell Westbrook. Now, the playoffs are just a few weeks away, and all of the big sports shows are trying to figure out who can win it all.

One of the teams that are certainly garnering attention is the Phoenix Suns. Although they are currently without Kevin Durant, they are still playing well. Devin Booker and Chris Paul have been tasked with carrying the team into the playoffs. Furthermore, with KD returning soon, this will be a superteam once the postseason begins. They have all the makings of a team that can make an impressive deep run to the Finals. As it turns out, Stephen A. most certainly agrees with that sentiment.

Stephen A. Speaks

On today’s episode of First Take, Stephen A. made it clear that he believes the Suns should be favored in the West, as long as the whole team is there. “I got [the Phoenix Suns] going to the Finals if KD is healthy,” Smith declared. As you can see in the clip above, Smith got an eye-roll from Kendrick Perkins. However, Smith maintained that there is no other team in the West that can roll with them when Durant is on the floor. Stephen A. went so far as to say that Durant is the best player on the planet, when healthy.

There are a lot of variables that go into a playoff run. Some teams go into the postseason expecting to clean up, although injuries can get in the way. Moreover, other teams tend to get hot, which throws a wrench in the plans of those at the top of the standings. This year, it feels like it is anybody’s race, which only adds to the drama. Let us know who you think is going to make it to the NBA Finals, in the comments down below.

Kevin Durant Injury Gets An Update

Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the entire NBA. Overall, he is one of those guys that can make his teams immediately better. Unfortunately, he has dealt with quite a few injury issues over the course of his career. This week, the injury issues persisted as he was warming up in Phoenix. It was a big game for him as this was his first in Arizona. However, he never got to actually play as he slipped while going for a layup. He twisted his ankle on the play, and he was subsequently sidelined from the match.

In the end, it wasn’t too bad for the Phoenix Suns as they were able to win the game by a score of 132-101 against the OKC Thunder. Regardless, this is one of those injuries that could destroy the Suns’ title hopes. Many have theorized that KD could be out for the rest of the season, including the start of the playoffs. Consequently, the Suns have been ripped of their “title favorites” designation. Luckily, the injury doesn’t seem to be as bad as reported.

Kevin Durant Prognosis

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Durant will be re-evaluated in about two weeks’ time. He has a left ankle sprain, and the swelling has already gone down. Overall, these are all good signs that should excite Suns fans. However, Durant could still wind up missing more time. His ability to get back on the court will hinge on his rehab and whether or not it goes well. Durant is someone who has been injured quite a bit over the years, so this could prove to be a difficult task.

At this point, the Suns feel as though they cannot catch a break. That said, they are comfortably in a playoff spot and based on this news, it seems like KD should be back in time for a postseason run. With Durant in the lineup, they are 3-0 which is certainly reason to be excited. Hopefully, he can recover quickly and get back out there. Kevin Durant Drops 23 in Phoenix Suns Debut | The Source

Kevin Durant was ready to make his Phoenix Suns debut at the Footprint Center. Sadly, he suffered a grade 2 sprain in warmups, which will keep him out of action for four to six weeks.

Durant suffered the ankle injury while performing a normal pregame exercise that involved driving to the hoop. Before rising up and completing his workout, he rolled his left ankle and fell to the ground.

Durant left out the arena in a walking boot, with the belief he would not return in the regular season. The Suns’ regular season would wrap in April, the team is currently eyeing the playoffs.

While Durant has been in the lineup, the Suns are undefeated, beating the Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls, and Dallas Mavericks. The Suns won the Wednesday night matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder 132-101 behind 44 points from Devin Booker.

Kevin Durant Suffers Brutal Injury Due To Freak Accident

Kevin Durant has had an incredible start to his time with the Phoenix Suns. Overall, Durant and the Suns are 3-0 when KD plays and they definitely look like the best team in the league. However, the Suns are a franchise that is extremely cursed. Whenever it seems like they are about to win a title, something happens that completely derails them. In 1993, they had to face MJ. In the 2000s, they ran into rigged officiating. Finally, in 2021, they ran into Giannis. Needless to say, they are a team that is mired in all sorts of bad luck.

Last night, the Suns were looking to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. This was supposed to be Durant’s very first game with the Suns at home. Consequently, the atmosphere was sensational as fans just wanted a glimpse at KD. Unfortunately, their hopes turned into a nightmare very quickly. This is because Durant tweaked his ankle in warmup after slipping on the court. In the video below, you can see how KD’s ankle bends at a 90-degree angle. It looks truly awful, and although Durant continued his warmup, he ended up skipping the game.

Kevin Durant Falls

Despite Durant’s absence, the Suns went on to pulverize the Thunder by a score of 132-101. Devin Booker was sensational during the match, and he willed the Suns to a win. However, all of the attention has remained on KD and the injury issues he is facing. According to the local outlet AZ Central, Durant may very well have a grade 2 sprain. This means the superstar could miss the rest of the regular season. Furthermore, there is even a worst-case scenario in which he is not able to start the playoffs.

If this happens to be the case, then the Suns’ curse has to be a real thing. There is no way one single franchise can carry forth all of this bad luck. However, they still have a very solid core, which means they shouldn’t fall out of the playoffs, anytime soon. Hopefully, KD is able to come back stronger than ever. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports world.

Kevin Durant Dons Suns Jersey For The First Time

Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the entire NBA. Overall, some fans would say that he is the best player in the league right now. However, there are a plethora of people who believe this is just a step too far. Although, he should definitely earn top-five consideration when you think about everything he does for his teams. Durant is simply one of the best players ever, and now that he is on the Phoenix Suns, he turns them into real contenders.

Unfortunately for the Suns, he won’t be able to play a game for them until after the All-Star break. This is due to the fact that he is nursing an injury right now. He has had this injury since before the Nets traded him. That said, the Suns knew what they were getting when they acquired KD. After all, they still have Devin Booker and Chris Paul, which is enough for them to get by over this upcoming stretch. Once the playoffs hit, then the Suns will truly shine as a team.

Kevin Durant Is Ready

While Durant doesn’t have an exact timeline for his return, that has not stopped the Suns from filming some content with their new star. In the video clip up above, Durant can be found wearing his brand-new Suns jersey. Overall, he looks pretty great in the jersey, and we’re sure fans are very excited to see him in those colors. In fact, Durant is having his introductory press conference today, which will be a whole lot of fun. Although there might be some difficult questions sent KD’s way, we’re sure we will get some insight into his departure from Brooklyn.

As it stands, it is a very good time to be a fan of the Phoenix Suns. They are the current favorites to win it all, and if they make it happen, then that fanbase will finally get what they’ve wanted for years. Arizona sports teams have had a hard time winning titles, and we’re sure those fans would appreciate at least one. Let us know what you think of seeing KD in a Suns jersey, in the comments down below.
