Pardi Shares Heartfelt Poem Amid Megan Thee Stallion Break Up Rumors

Have Megan Thee Stallion and Pardi split? The rumors have swirled around the internet over the past few months after she unfollowed him on Instagram. Days later, fans believed that they spent Valentine’s Day together. Although they might not be as public about their relationship these days, Pardi seemingly shut down rumors altogether during his first poetry reading. The rapper hit Instagram with a clip of his performing, captioning the post, “Never done poetry before… thought this was fitting, thank you @dapoetrylounge_co for allowing me to share this.”

“… Most beautiful women in the whole audience. The piece I’m about to do it is about another beautiful woman that I know,” he began to a room full of snap. “You want acknowledgment for your bravery, not sympathy/ You wanna be held tight and kissed gently,” he says during the storm. While fans also recently noticed that Pardi unfollowed Megan recently, the uplifting piece he recited had fans under the impression that they are still together. However, others felt like he might be trying to win her back.

Pardi’s Poem

Pardison Fontaine and Megan Thee Stallion have been together for a little over two years at this point. As the story goes, they initially met while working on the “Savage (Remix)” ft Beyoncé, which Pardi has writing credits on. A few months later, they worked together on Cardi B’s “WAP,” another record with Pardi’s fingerprints all over. Eventually, Megan confirmed that Pardi is her “boo” and they began showing out at events together.

Ultimately, the couple has been subject to break-up rumors for a while now. In early 2022, Pardi took to Instagram to address rumors that he and Megan Thee Stallion split over abuse allegations. “Stop this cap nobody puttin hands on nobody … (At least not in that way),” he wrote. “Been seein the break up rumors and was lettin y’all imaginations run … but y’all gettin too crazy … ain’t give n— a story so they made one … we really been on it double time,” he wrote. Earlier this month, rumors circulated that Megan Thee Stallion and Pardison Fontaine broke up because they unfollowed each other on social media. What’s more telling than that? However, it looks like that may not be the case. Or maybe the pair were able to resolve things in time for Valentine’s Day, because one social media post showed clues that they’re still together.

Fontaine posted an Instagram Story on Valentine’s Day of two hands, one looking like his and the other resembling Megan’s, taking heart-shaped shots. The long, purple acrylic nails are a pretty obvious giveaway — fans seem to be taking this as a good sign.

Last month, Fontaine had to take to Instagram to clear up other rumors that they’d broken up. Megan was accused of being an “abusive, mean drunk,” which Fontaine refuted in his post. “Stop this cap nobody puttin hands on nobody …(At least not in that way ),” he wrote. “Been seein the break up rumors and was lettin y’all imaginations run ..but y’all gettin too crazy ….ain’t give n****s a story so they made one … we really been on it double time.”

Though you can’t see faces, many assumed that the other hand appeared to be Megan’s, which fans identified by her nails. So, it seems as though Megan and Pardi are still going strong, despite the breakup rumors surrounding the apparent unfollow from Meg’s account.

Megan Thee Stallion hasn’t been on social media heavily over the past few months. After Tory Lanez’s trial ended, Meg barely appeared publicly and only released a message through her attorney, Alex Shapiro, once the Canadian rapper was found guilty. It appears that we can finally put rumors of Megan Thee Stallion‘s and Pardison Fontaine‘s breakup to rest. Today (February 14), Pardi shared a picture of two hands on Instagram, one appearing to belong to him and one appearing to belong to Meg, taking heart-shaped shots on his story.

Last week, rumors began circulating that the two had broken up after fans noticed the two unfollowed each other on social media.

Though neither of the two issued any comment regarding a rumored break-up, Pardi seemingly responded to the rumors, joking that he got “da boot,” while modeling those viral red MSCHF boots on the ‘gram.

Though neither party’s face can be seen in the story posted today, several of Meg’s fans are convinced that the hand pictured is hers, as they recognized her fabulous nails.

“Pardi posted Meg’s nail,” said one fan, “so maybe Tmrw we might get to finally see her and see some bday drip.”

Megan hasn’t shared any new music, guested on anyone’s songs, or made any public appearances in months. She also hasn’t posted to social media during that time.

So, as one could expect, fans were excited to get some sort of sign that Megan appears to be happy and well.

“Pardi posted Meg’s hand and that’s all I need from her until she’s ready,” said another fan. “Just glad to know my bby is alive.”

Internet sleuths believe there is trouble in paradise between Megan Thee Stallion and Pardison Fontaine. The Hip Hop pair has been dating for some time, often flaunting their romance on social media. They quickly became “couple goals” for fans, and it seemed as if they were in it for the long haul. He did, however, surface around the conclusion to pen a note about victims of abuse. “To any woman especially ones of color that has suffered an injustice I feel for you. On the stand during the Lanez trial, Megan hinted at what life was like behind closed doors.
