She was found dead at home in Florida earlier in the day and the cause of death is not yet known. A preliminary investigation showed no foul play was involved.

Holland’s company, Icon Management Inc., addressed the news in a statement on social media: “We’ve lost a client, dear friend, daughter and sister,” the company wrote in a Twitter post. “Tori was a champion…a beacon of light that shined so bright! Biles shared numerous photos of her big day on Instagram. You can look at all of those pictures at Biles’s official account @simonebiles.

Biles became an instant star in her first-ever Olympics appearance. The distinguished Olympian was a part of one of the greatest Team USA gymnastics teams to ever assemble for the big event. Simone Biles & Jonathan Owens Choose Forever

According to a Wall Street Journal interview from 2020, Biles says the two may have different stories about how their love began. “He would say I slid into his DMs,’ Biles revealed. I saw him and I was like, Oh, he’s pretty cute, so I said hi and then I saw that he was in the Houston area, so we started chatting a little bit, and then we went to hang out a week or two later.” A simple slide into a DM sparked the fire between the new couple. However, neither one is going to admit who instigated the conversation.

A special day that has been a year in the making has finally come true for Biles and Owens. An excellent moment for Owens to enjoy before entering training camp for the Texans upcoming season. Details on the ceremony were tightly sealed. As the two athletes wanted a moment to share with just friends and family. It’s always a great moment to see two personalities as larger as Biles and Owens get a moment for themselves. One more congratulations to Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens on their big weekend. A Group Featuring John Legend And Keith Urban Sings ‘Imagine’ At The 2020 Olympics Opening Ceremony

The 2020 Summer Olympics are getting started today, and they began, as they always do, with a grandiose Opening Ceremony. This year, singers from around the world came together to sing the John Lennon classic “Imagine” (a song, by the way, that features the lyric, “Imagine there’s no countries / It isn’t hard to do”).

Participating in the pre-taped performance were Keith Urban (representing Oceania), John Legend (America), Coro Suginami (Asia), Angelique Kidjo (Africa), and Alejandro Sanz (Europe). During the performance, a fleet of drones was positioned in the sky to form an image of a globe of Earth. As CNN notes, a guide to the ceremony explains, “Imagination has the power to unite and to move us forward. By singing this much-loved song in relay, we will spread its powerful message all over the world.”

In an interview clip Urban shared, he said, “It’s one of those songs that feels like it’s just always been there. It’s sort of like a spiritual classic. It’s almost more of a hymn than a song, you know? What lyrics stand out to me? Just the ones between the beginning and the end [laughs]. It’s an amazing song! […] Even if you don’t speak English and you don’t know what’s being said in ‘Imagine,’ you can feel it. You can feel that song.”
