Odell Beckham Jr. Flexes Knee Recovery In Pick-Up Basketball Game

Odell Beckham Jr. made headlines last month as he attempted to get a job in the NFL. He has been out of commission since the Super Bowl when he sustained a second ACL tear. Overall, he visited three teams including the Giants, Cowboys, and even the Bills.

However, none of the teams he saw offered him a contract. Based on comments from numerous teams, it felt like OBJ’s knee was still very much an issue. Additionally, Odell only seemed interested in playing playoff games, which could certainly cause some division.

Odell Plays Ball

According to TMZ, Odell is currently sharpening his skills, although in another sport. In the video clip below, Beckham Jr. can be seen playing a pick-up game of basketball. OBJ is going one-on-one in the clip and he looked pretty good doing so.

In fact, you can tell that his knee is getting significantly better. Of course, playing pick-up basketball is much different than running routes. However, this is a great step forward for the wide receiver, who still has plenty to give to the game of football.

Beckham Jr. has made it clear that he wants to sign a long-term deal and make a permanent home to end his career. The Cowboys and Bills have seemingly shown great interest in Odell, however, he will likely have to wait until the offseason to get that contract. Either way, Beckham Jr. will be back on the field next season, which is great news for his fans.

There is still quite a bit of fanfare surrounding his free agency decision, so stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the NFL. Additionally, let us know where you think Beckham Jr. should play, in the comments below.

Odell Beckham Jr’s Cowboys Hopes Get Sobering Update

Odell Beckham Jr. is currently trying to garner enough interest from teams around the league. Over the past few weeks, he has been adamant that he can play in time for the postseason this year. However, despite his talent and claims, there isn’t a single team who has signed him.

Previously, Odell had met with the New York Giants, Buffalo Bills, and Dallas Cowboys during a free agency tour. Every single team expressed interest, however, they weren’t exactly chomping at the bit to sign him immediately. Simply put, teams still think his knee is an issue.

Jerry Jones Comments On Odell Beckham Jr.

Subsequently, there has been a ton of speculation as to who will get their hands on Odell. For the most part, the team at the top of everyone’s list has been none other than the Dallas Cowboys. Jerry Jones has spoken on OBJ numerous times, although he has yet to actually make a signing.

According to reporter Calvin Watkins, Odell will not be in Dallas until next year. Of course, someone else could sign him by then, however, Jones is not interested right now. Jones believes that OBJ will only be ready to go by the Spring. Simply put, Jones will only sign Odell once he knows he is fully healthy.

Jones’ comments are contradictory to the various claims that Odell has made in regard to his fitness. Regardless, it should be reassuring to hear that the Cowboys do want to sign him eventually. Whether or not Odell can wait that long, still remains to be seen.

Odell Beckham Jr. Offers Update On Playing Status

Odell Beckham Jr. is fresh off of a free agency tour. During this tour, he got to meet with the New York Giants, Buffalo Bills, and Dallas Cowboys. Throughout this tour, it became quite clear that numerous teams want him. However, there is a concern that OBJ isn’t in shape to play this season.

He has torn his ACL twice over the last three seasons, which doesn’t exactly inspire much confidence in his health. Consequently, there has been a reluctance to put him on a roster. Of course, that will likely change soon as Odell has yet to truly reveal where he wants to go.

Odell Beckham Jr. Gives A New Update

Recently, Odell was a guest on The Shop. Last night, The Shop did a live Thursday Night Football special, and fans were excited about it. Of course, the crew made sure to ask Odell the tough questions. However, Beckham Jr. was quite diplomatic with his answers.

At one point, Maverick Carter asked OBJ if he knew which team he wanted to go to. As you can imagine, Odell skirted the question, although he did offer some interesting insight. The wide receiver said that he doesn’t want to play in the regular season. Instead, he would rather wait until the playoffs and give it his all while the lights are the brightest.

Stephen A. Smith Reveals Where OBJ Should Go

Stephen A. Smith, much like the rest of the football world, is trying to figure out where Odell Beckham Jr. may go. The wide receiver is currently a free agent, and over the last little while, he has been meeting with a wide range of teams. First, he met with the New York Giants. Additionally, he has met with the Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys.

Odell’s free agency tour has been quite successful. However, it still remains to be seen where he will end up. For the most part, people seem to think the frontrunners are both the Bills and the Cowboys. Today, Stephen A. revealed where he thinks OBJ is likely headed.

Stephen A. Explains Where OBJ Needs To Land

As many of you already know, Smith is a huge Cowboys hater. However, he came through with a surprising statement on First Take. In the clip down below, Smith advocated for OBJ to go to the Cowboys. “[Odell Beckham Jr. is] tailor-made to be a Cowboy,” Smith said matter of factly.

The Cowboys are a team that is known for having a ton of flair. With that being said, OBJ has always been a player who showcases the exact same traits. Needless to say, Stephen A. makes a great point, although it must have hurt him to admit it.

Furthermore, while out in Dallas last night, Odell took in a Mavericks game. Fans were very excited to see him there, and it became quite clear that the fanbase wants him on their side. For now, however, it remains to be seen if he feels the same way.

Drake Is Betting Over $1 Million On The LA Rams And Odell Beckham Jr. In Super Bowl LVI

Drake’s gambling history is sort of infamous at this point, as he’s willing to lay out huge sums on the outcomes of everything from basketball games to roulette spins, getting lucky and losing in more-or-less equal measure. Naturally, with Super Bowl LVI kicking off this Sunday, he’s got a lot of money on the line, posting screenshots of his online wagers to Instagram. In total, he’s got $1.26 million (in Bitcoin, no less) riding on the outcome, split across three bets.

He’s got $472,364 on the Los Angels Rams to win outright over the Cincinnati Bengals, while two prop bets posit his friend, Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., to receive for more than 62.5 receiving yards ($393,636) and score at least one touchdown ($393,636). They’re all relatively safe bets, with payouts of $713,244, $712,457, and $846,288, respectively — the Rams have the hometown advantage, after all, and ODB has been relatively solid all season despite tearing his left ACL during the 2020 season (something Drake can relate to).

However, should he hit on all three, he’s looking at just about doubling his money ($2,271,989), so they aren’t bad bets either. His post explained the rationale behind them with the caption, “All bets are in on the family.” The rapper, like much of the country, will be tuned in with crossed fingers this Sunday.
