Ne-Yo’s been in the news quite a bit recently, but he doesn’t see that as an excuse for people to comment on his personal life. Moreover, the R&B singer came through with a couple of Instagram Story posts blasting people speaking on his name. Furthermore, he launched some light jabs and harsher critiques throughout his “unbothered” rant, claiming that people are probably just jealous. Most recently, he finalized his divorce after he apparently cheated on his wife and fathered a child with another woman. Even with a lot of drama surrounding him, he wanted to make it clear that it’s not getting to him, even though that’s exactly what a social media post about backlash suggests.

“I just need the whole world to understand this,” Ne-Yo began his message. “Your opinions of me and my personal life don’t mean ANYTHING to me. My kids love me, my women love me. Sade, an influencer who was rumored to be Ne-Yo’s baby mama, is confirming that rumor with a lot of pride. Moreover, she recently uploaded various videos of the R&B icon to her social media, sharing some Instagram clips of him performing at what seems to be a club. “Mmmmmm sexy a** baby daddy,” she captioned a video of Ne-Yo, real name Shaffer Chimere Smith, during his concert. “F**k what you talking about,” she added with some sweaty emojis. Also, she posted a clip of Smith dancing during a party, and they seem to be having a ball.

Unfortunately, this relationship came to light in a pretty sour way. Ne-Yo’s wife Crystal Renay filed for divorce back in August of 2022, alleging that he had a child with another woman out of wedlock. In fact, he had another child with Sade just last month (if the first one is true), so it seems that he’s moving on quite rapidly from his previous relationship. ‘BMF’ Adds Ne-Yo And 2 Chainz To Third Season

Rapper/TV mogul Curtis Jackson is back again with his critically acclaimed series and he just brought two more notables to the big screen. Rapper 2 Chainz and singer/ songwriter Ne-Yo have been casted in recurring roles for season 3 of the hit series BMF.

Deadline Reports:  

2 Chainz will play “Stacks,” an Atlanta-born and bred distributor whose wisdom and stature command respect wherever he goes. Fiercely loyal and determined to provide for his family no matter the cost, Stacks lives by the street code and challenges Meech’s leadership style.

Ne-Yo will play “Rodney ‘Greeny’ Green,” a local Atlanta player who’s all about making the bag. Filled with swagger and an entrepreneurial spirit, there’s more than meets the eye with Greeny.

Season 2 of BMF currently airs on Starz at 8 p.m. ET/PT in the U.S. and Canada.

Earlier this month Fif confirmed that the docu-drama’s season three was under way via Twitter.

Ne-Yo And Ex-Wife Finalize Divorce

Ne-Yo and his ex-wife Crystal Renay finalized their divorce in just five months, according to Page Six. Moreover, the publication received court documents detailing the proceedings and terms of the split. The R&B singer will pay Renay $1.6 million to equilibrate their holdings in real estate. Also, he’ll pay $20,000 for moving expenses, according to a TMZ report of settlement details. In addition, Renay kept one of their four homes in Georgia as a result of this process. However, that’s still not all, as Ne-Yo agreed to give his ex-wife another $150,000 check to buy a new car.

After all, he’s the one keeping their 2022 Bentley Bentayaga, so it’s only fair. Still, these payments add to other monetary support that Ne-Yo must offer to his former partner. For example, the 43-year-old will pay Renay $12,000 a month in child support for their three children together. Also, they agreed to joint custody and Ne-Yo agreed to cover expenses regarding education. Furthermore, the “So Sick” singer will also give his 36-year-old ex $5,000 a month in alimony for the next three years. Overall, these expenses add up to almost $2 million dollars for Ne-Yo.

However, all this hassle and monetary coverage is understandable given the case’s high profile and months-long development. Moreover, Renay filed for divorce from the Arkansas-born artist in August of 2022. However, it caught media attention for Renay’s public claims that Ne-Yo cheated on her. “To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is a understatement. To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane,” she expressed as the news broke. “The mentality of a narcissist. I will no longer lie to the public or pretend that this is something it isn’t.”

Furthermore, Renay said that Ne-Yo even fathered a child with another woman, who she called “his paramour” in the filing. Still, their history together is longer and more complicated than one might expect as an on-and-off-again couple in the 2010s. They married in February 2016, divorced two years later, and remarried in April of last year.
