Simone Biles’ Husband Roasted For Claiming He’s The “Catch” In Their Marriage

Jonathan Owens, the husband of Simone Bills, has faced significant backlash for comments he made about their marriage on a recent podcast appearance. Appearing on The Pivot, Owens claimed he didn’t know who Biles was when they first met and that he believes that “men are always the catch in a relationship”. When the couple met on a dating app in March 2020, Owens was a practice squad player for the Texans who had never played an NFL game. Meanwhile, Biles was a five-time Olympic medalist.

Unsurprisingly, people have taken significant issue with Owens’ comments. “Mind you he went undrafted, was waived by two teams, hasn’t won a single championship and is all around a below average player so what in his mind would make him think HE is the catch?!” one of Biles’ fans wrote on X. Following the backlash, Owens reposted an image from his wedding to Biles with the caption “Unbothered 😂❤ Just know we locked in over here 🤞🏽.”

Simone Biles Has Dominant Return To Gymnastics

Meanwhile, it’s been a huge year for Simone Biles herself. Biles pushed her international medal tally to 37 earlier this year after an electric appearance at the World Gymnastics Championships in Belgium. Biles finished the event with four golds and a silver out of six events contested. After entering the Championships tied for Olympic & World Championship medals with retired Belarusian gymnast Vitaly Scherbo, Biles finished the event in sole possession of that title. Furthermore, Biles set herself up for a strong showing at next year’s Olympics.

However, Biles’ gold sweep was halted by finishing off the podium in the uneven bars and her silver medal in the vault. Biles fell 0.201 points short of winning gold on her signature equipment of vault. An over-rotation on her signature Yurchenko double pike caused her to fall backward on the landing. Biles bounced back with an excellent Cheng in her final vault. However, 2022 all-around champion Rebeca Andrade was able to keep Biles off the top of her podium with a near-perfect outing.

At HNHH, we shared our thoughts on the biggest pop culture moments and best dressed artists, among other things, but currently, it’s Rolling Stone who’s under fire for their annual round-up of the best hip-hop songs. In the past, the outlet’s founder, Jann Wenner, has faced backlash for stating that women and Black creatives “don’t articulate” at the same level of their white, male counterparts. After seeing the publication put Sexyy Red at the top of their Best Hip-Hop Songs OTY list, some social media users are raising their eyebrows.

“Jann Wenner, the co-founder of ‘Rolling Stone,’ literally said that Black artists aren’t articulate and now using this as the benchmark for rap music… [Wild],” one person wrote after seeing the placement of “SkeeYee.” Another Twitter user argued that, “They’re trying so hard t course correct they overshot.” Elsewhere, others pointed out that while the viral track is “probably the most played rap song of the year,” that still “doesn’t make it the best.”

Pistons Lose 25 In A Row, Fans Begin “Sell The Team” Chants

As the Detroit Pistons lost their 25th game in a row, fans at Little Caesars Arena began an ominous chant. “Sell the team” could be heard ringing out around the 20,300-seat venue as the Pistons fell to a short-handed Jazz team 119-111. The chants were aimed at billionaire Tom Gores, the private equity magnate who has owned the team since 2011.

Furthermore, the Pistons now sit just one loss away from tying the NBA’s losing streak record. The 26-game mark is jointly held by the 10/11 Cavs and 13/14 Sixers. Both teams went on to finish the season with a 19-63 record. However, this season’s Pistons are projected to win just 14 games. “I want to be careful with my words, because this one hurts more than most of them. A team that played last night got [50] points off turnovers and rebounds. It is unbelievably hard to understand how we can get outworked in those categories,” head coach Monty Williams said after the loss to the Jazz.

Wingstop’s Promotion With The Pistons Looking Increasingly Ridiculous

Throughout the losing streak, fans have also taken aimed at corporate partnership that the Pistons have with Wingstop. For the 2023-24 season, the restaurant had offered “five free boneless wings with every online order for every Pistons win.” However, the offers becomes more and more absurd with every loss. “Wingstop shamefully moving a little further from the scores after every loss 😭,” Bleacher Report social media programmer Molly Morrison wrote on X earlier in the team’s losing streak. Meanwhile, SB Nation engagement editor Kofie Yeboah said on TikTok that five wings were no longer an adequate deal and the number of wings needed to be raised.

Meanwhile, what little hope remains within the Pistons is quickly fading. “We’re not 2-26 bad — no way are we that bad. I think we can turn this around. We can play a much better brand of basketball. We had a chance to win it down the stretch, and we just weren’t solid enough. This is history no one wants to be a part of,” Cade Cunningham said after the team’s most recent loss. The Pistons are next in action against the Nets on Saturday. Brooklyn has lost their four games and faces the Nuggets on Friday night.

Quando Rondo Secures $100K Bond, Will Now Be On House Arrest

Quando Rondo has been through a few legal situations over the past year or so. Overall, a few months ago, Rondo was arrested over an alleged drug trafficking ring. Eventually, he was able to secure $100K bond. However, just a few weeks ago, he was arrested yet again. This time, he was hit with a plethora of drug-related charges. According to HipHopDX, he was accused of a conspiracy to allegedly sell all sorts of different drugs, including weed, cocaine, and even fentanyl.

Since his arrest, his legal team has been working overtime to try and get him free. As his lawyer argued, there is no actual evidence that the rapper sold any of these drugs. However, the prosecution is saying this does not matter. At the end of the day, this is a conspiracy case which means they just need to prove that he was conspiring to sell narcotics. Well, recently, Quando Rondo actually got some good news. A judge decided to grant him $100K bond. Furthermore, he will now get to be on house arrest.

The case is certainly not over, and Quando Rondo has a court date coming up soon. However, this remains a massive win for him as it means he will not have to spend the Holidays behind bars. As for the conditions of his release, well, there are a few. He now has to get rid of his passport, get treatment for substance abuse, and even avoid any of his co-defendants. Needless to say, he has to make sure he keeps his nose clean, or else the consequences could be bad.

Lena The Plug “South Park” Easter Egg Leaves Adult Actress Thrilled

Lena the Plug has expressed her excitement over being included as a brief easter egg in a recent episode of South Park. Lena posted a screenshot of the episode to her Instagram, where her name can be seen on a sidebar of Randy’s OnlyFans page. Content creator Tana Mongeau can also be seen in the same image. “Being included in a South Park episode is my biggest flex to date,” Lena wrote alongside the image.

Lena’s easter egg came as part of South Park: Not Suitable For Children, a special episode of the long-running show that specifically took aim at online pornography and especially sites like OnlyFans. In fact, the whole episode was inspired by Brianna Coppage, the now-viral teacher who was fired after her OnlyFans was discovered.
