Ralo Insists He Didn’t Mean To Diss Boosie Badazz Amid Heated Back And Forth
Ralo says that he meant no disrespect when he remarked that he doesn’t want to be “on stage like Boosie [Badazz]” when he’s in his 40s and 50s. The remark, which he made in a viral clip on social media, sent Boosie on a tirade on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday night. Speaking about the situation on Instagram Live, Ralo attempted to clarify what he meant.
“When I get that age, I want to be worshiping my Lord,” he asserted. “I want to be deep involved in my religion and in my community.” Ralo explained that it’s perfectly acceptable for “the G.O.A.T.s” of hip-hop to still perform as they get older, but he’s not as passionate about his rap career. He also claimed to have helped Boosie out of financial trouble in the past. “You sent your girlfriend over there to get some money,” he added. “Not for no features, not for no verses, just because you needed it.”

Drakeo The Ruler Wrongful Death Lawsuit Receives Frustrating Update
The West Coast and the hip-hop world in general lost a true legend in Drakeo the Ruler back in 2021. If you remember, he was tragically stabbed backstage at the Once Upon a Time in L.A. event. Specifically, the festival took place at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, very close to the Los Angeles Coliseum. That’s where the USC Trojans play. So, because of their proximity to that 2021 show, they were included in the wrongful death lawsuit.
Live Nation and others were also included in the paperwork, and the former tried to file a motion to dismiss their involvement in 2023. However, the entertainment company is not out of the woods, as the judge ruled against that. Now, according to AllHipHop, USC is also trying to wiggle their way out of the suit as of August 29. The judge overlooking this case, Judge Kerry Bensinger, is already lined up to consider the motion at a hearing on November 18.

Drakeo The Ruler’s Case Remains Unsolved
The university had a few statements trying to prove that they aren’t culpable in any way. “The backstage area where [Drakeo] was attacked was not a part of the Coliseum property, the Sports Arena property or any property leased or controlled by USC”. Later, university lawyers added, “USC was not involved in the production of the music festival itself. It was not involved in selecting the performers, setting the performance schedule or determining how many all-access passes any artist would be allocated”.
Overall, it’s extremely saddening to discover yet another setback. Hopefully, Drakeo’s family will get some sort of justice sooner than later. The post comes after Cleo came out with several allegations about mistreatment on the Y2K! World Tour on Monday. She claimed that, at one point, Spice’s team refused to pay for her to have a chicken salad.
Afterward, she shared another post defending herself for the move. “U losers can body shame and falsely diagnose me all day, but I’m wrong for defending myself?” she wrote. “I want u to realize I’m just a person. Travis Scott fought Sabrina Carpenter to the very end. However, he fell just shy of squeaking past the Pennsylvania pop star for the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 200. Still, though, moving 361,000 copies of a 10-year-old mixtape compared to a highly anticipated brand-new record from one of the hottest artists is nothing to be disappointed in. It just goes to prove that he’s one of the biggest rappers, but also superstar musician overall. AllHipHop has the stats to prove that, as Scott is now in the top five for biggest debuts of 2024 in terms of sales. He slots in at number four, just behind Sabrina, Beyonce’s COWBOY CARTER, and the phenom Taylor Swift with The Tortured Poets Department.
In addition to this, Travis is also tying old records. Back in 2021, Nicki Minaj also rereleased an old mixtape. She reissued 2009’s Beam Me Up Scotty and by doing so, The Queen of New York went on to have the highest charting debut in that regard. It went number two in late May with around 80,000 units sold. Obviously, Scott obliterated the sales numbers, but he also a little bit stiffer competition.

Playboi Carti Pressured By NBA Team To Drop His Album
Playboi Carti is an artist who has built an entire brand for himself by being mysterious. Overall, this has caused a lot of strife within his fanbase. Whenever he does speak out, fans treat it like Big Foot has just been proven to be real. However, more often than not, Carti leaves his fans completely and utterly confused. This is because he is constantly making promises he has no intention of keeping. Over the last year, he has consistently teased his new album I Am Music. In fact, he has released six singles since November. Despite this, there is no album release date in sight.
Interestingly enough, Carti just did a cover story with Billboard where it was revealed that he would, in fact, be dropping this year. We will just have to wait and see. As for his social media activity, Carti has been posting new outfits on his Opium burner account. In one of these outfits, Carti can be seen wearing an Orlando Magic jersey with Penny Hardaway’s name and number on the back. This subsequently got the attention of the magic, who took to Twitter to say what we are all thinking.
