Benzino Thinks He’d Beat 50 Cent In A Boxing Match
It looks like Benzino could be looking for another boxing opponent after Joe Budden allegedly backed out of their match, and he just might have his sights set on 50 Cent. During a recent appearance on the We In Miami podcast, The Source icon was weighing in on Fif’s ongoing feud with Diddy, claiming that he’s unsurprised by it. He says that since Diddy’s allegedly been messing with the mother of 50 Cent’s child, there’s bound to be some strong feelings involved. Benzino was then asked whether or not he’d ever consider taking on 50 Cent in the ring. With no hesitation, he said yes, arguing that size doesn’t really matter when it comes to boxing.
“Being big don’t mean nothing in boxing, history has shown us that,” he described. “50’s been shot in the face before so that counts. He had to get reconstructive surgery; he’s not gonna be able to take any old punch in his face.” Benzino continued, claiming that with a few months of training under his belt, he’d have it in the bag.

Benzino Is Confident
“If we were to box in a boxing match and I were to train for a couple months, hell yeah I could box 50,” he said. As for whether or not the same would also apply to a street fight, he claims it would. “I’m gonna pick me every time,” Benzino explained. 50 Cent has yet to respond to the apparent challenge.

The Los Angeles Lakers have lost 11 straight games to the Denver Nuggets. The LeBron James-led Lakers once again squandered a double-digit lead to the defending champions and lost 112 – 105. Despite Struggling all season and only achieving the 7th seed in the West, The Lakers were one of the most hyped teams in the media. Talking heads made it seem like the Lakers had a chance to win the title. One media personality who has been consistent in his criticism of the Lakers is the great Charles Barkley.
Charles Barkley took a victory lap last night as the Lakers are pretty much guaranteed to be eliminated from the playoffs. Barkley spent the entire year telling people the Lakers and the Warriors were not good. He has constantly asserted that the media overrated the two teams. The star power of LeBron and Steph Curry has plenty to do with the teams being overrated. Both teams are a draw for fans and make things easy to cover. Sir Charles was not having it and felt vindicated last night and put on quite the show as always.

Charles Barkley was in rare form after the Laker’s loss. The camera closed in on him, and he hilariously proclaimed, “I just want to say to all you people who’ve been kissing up to the Lakers and the Warriors all year talking about ‘they gonna make a run.’ Know where they gonna run to? The Bahamas.” he then lamented the “fools” at other networks like ESPN who overrated the Lakers and Warriors. He said I told y’all all along. … I get tired of these fools on the other network. … I told y’all, the Lakers and the Warriors both stink.”
Like a lot of fans, Chuck has had it with the coverage of the Lakers and the Warriors. To many, it seemed like networks like ESPN were more concerned about the play-in race than the intense race for the No.1 seed in the West. Charles had to get his point across while he could because he won’t be able to gloat after game four since it’ll be on ABC. Today, Normani unleashed her eagerly anticipated track with Gunna, “1:59.” The steamy single is set to appear on the songstress’s debut studio album, Dopamine. Along with the release of the collab, Normani unveiled new details of the project, including the release date. Dopamine will arrive on June 14, 2024.
The performer already unveiled the album’s cover art back in February, only further building anticipation. If the rest of the LP is anything like its lead single, it’s safe to say that it’ll be a hit among fans, who are raving over the Gunna collab on social media. According to Normani, it feels like a culmination of the entire journey she’s taken to get to this point in her career. In a recent interview with Jasmine Fox-Suliaman for Who What Wear, she likened it to “liberation.”

He’s yet to announce an official release date, however, keeping fans on their toes. The project will follow his 2023 LP a gift & a curse.
