Deante Hitchcock Enlists DRAM, Big K.R.I.T., Westside Boogie, & More On “Once Upon A Time”

Deante Hitchcock has consistently proven to be a consistent artist who is constantly evolving. Coming out of Atlanta, Hitchcock has certainly been able to separate himself from his various contemporaries. Overall, this is an impressive feat and it has paid off in terms of garnering a fanbase. Although he may not be a mainstream artist, his fans treat him like one. They are constantly clamoring for new music, and with every release, they seem to crave more and more. Consequently, they were happy to hear about his new album Once Upon A Time.

This new project has been teased for quite some time, and now, it is finally here. Overall, there are 16 tracks to soak up here. Moreover, there are plenty of great features from artists like Westside Boogie, DRAM, and even Big K.R.I.T. That said, Hitchcock is the one who shines the most here. The album displays his immense range. Moreover, it also showcases the love that he has for his newborn son. In many ways, this is a concept album about fatherhood.

Deante’ Hitchcock Displays His Range

“At what was shaping up to be a turning point in my life, the world as we know it seemed to stop turning altogether. I watched our world change, and in the midst of it all, I had a son, became a father, and watched my world change as well,” Deante’ Hitchcock explained. “The word ‘son’ feels hella ironic to read, like the sun up in the sky that I used to stare at until it became an almost blinding blue bouncing ball of light, my son came into the world and brought a brightness into my life that could rival that of its homophone.”

This new project is a great step forward for the artist, and we’re sure many of you would agree. Hopefully, he has even more new music on the way. Let us know what you think of this album, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from the music world.

Missy Elliott Premieres New Song “The Greatest” During Lovers & Friends Festival Set

One of the most anticipated sets at Las Vegas’ Lovers & Friends Festival on Saturday (May 6) was undoubtedly Missy Elliott. Not only did the rap legend run through her greatest tracks, but she previewed an upcoming song fittingly titled “The Greatest.” On Twitter, she posted a short clip of it, and though no Missy verse is found, the beat sounds infectious and energizing thanks to the beat and featured guest Ha Sizzle, a bounce artist. Also on the social media platform, she confirmed the song’s title and said that 2nd Line Shawty would also appear. Moreover, HipHopDX confirmed that Wili Hendrix, ReemixLoops, and Michael Aristotle helped produce “The Greatest.”

Of course, it’s a great time to be a Missy Elliott fan. Recently, the Virginia native sat down with Lil Wayne, who once again praised her as his favorite rapper. “As a kid before Jay- this before I even knew a Jay-Z existed, I was into Missy Elliott,” he stated. “You know it was because you were able to say things that I would want to say as I’m rapping. You not only made me like- you made me love it. And I became so interested in you. And what happened was I bought the album and did not know that you really was spitting like… You know what I mean. You know I spit that verse to you all the time.”

Missy Elliott Teases “The Greatest,” Her Next Single

Furthermore, this new track would be the 51-year-old’s first solo single since “Cool Off” in 2020. In addition, this hype comes after her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. “I want to say this is HUGE not for just me but all my Sisters in HIPHOP,” Missy Elliott remarked on Instagram last week. “This door is now OPEN to showcase the hard work that many of us WOMEN contribute to MUSIC. I have cried all day because I am GRATEFUL thank you @rockhall & all on the committee & Supafriends.”

While she hasn’t specified when we should be expecting “The Greatness,” we’ll happily wait for more heat from Miss E. As such, many fans are likely hoping for a full-length project soon, as well. No matter the case, if you’re not a fan, now’s certainly the time to get into her catalog. Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Missy Elliott.

Yeat Does It Again With Hypnotic New Track “Already Rich”

Yeat is an artist who has been blowing up over the last couple of years. Much of this has to do with his viral hit “Sorry Bout That” which launched him into the meme sphere. However, the artist was able to keep the momentum going with numerous projects and incredible tracks. Overall, Yeat is someone who has a very distinct sound. Moreover, he does not shy away from providing fans with some truly out-there flows. While you may not understand what he’s saying, you are going to nod your head to it.

Just like similar artists such as Playboi Carti, Yeat has been heavily subjected to the leak machine. Leakers love going after artists like Yeat, however, he remains calm in the face of adversity. Unlike Carti, he doesn’t mind just dropping these tracks as a way to spite the leakers. This past week, that is exactly what he did as he came through with “Already Rich.” This is a track that has previously been set forth online, although Yeat dropped it for all of his fans to enjoy.

Yeat Continues To Deliver His Signature Flow

As you can imagine, the flows on this track are out of this world. The artist has a very distinctive sound, and he never falters on this new effort. Moreover, the production is absolutely hypnotic. It is that signature Yeat formula that has made him so popular.

The artist has been teasing a brand-new album, and it could be out as soon as June. This should make fans extremely excited for the future. As for “Already Rich,” let us know what you think of the song, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the music world.

Quotable Lyrics:

I got the Benz and got beef, finna cook it (Err), big flawless diamonds, bitch, they sit on my wrist (Ooh)
They said they wan’ sign a lil’ kid for some cheese (noble, this is crazy), I told ’em it’s “Fuck ’em, I’m already rich” (Rich)
This bitch, she just ask me if I got a Tonka for really, I told her, “I got a X6” (Woo, woo)
And I just be callin’ up Eliantte for new diamonds, I told ’em to turn on the sink (Shine)

Conway The Machine, Benny The Butcher & Fabolous Open A “Brooklyn Chop House”

If you’re looking for some of the best hip-hop of the year, odds are you’ve probably already listened to Conway The Machine’s latest album, WON’T HE DO IT. If you haven’t, you’ve got a lot of catching up to do with this lyrically skilled and instrumentally luxurious project. While the album has plenty of highlights, including the Westside Gunn-assisted “Brucifix,” its most immediately ear-grabbing moments are reflections of Griselda’s history. Featured guest Benny The Butcher shines on “Brooklyn Chop House,” proving that though both artists are on their own separate paths, the Griselda family is forever. In addition, Brooklyn legend Fabolous comes through with a great verse of his own.

Of course, the lyrical matter here is quite similar to the rest of Conway’s excellent catalog. There are material flexes, drug deal terminology, detailed narratives, proven proclamations of greatness in the game, and reflections on their struggles. Each verse comes through with an emphatic and measured flow that weaves their bars together with ease. Instrumentally, a hopeful and wistful string section loop overtakes a simple boom-bap beat. Even though there’s just a kick and a snare audibly present in the mix, the sample keeps the rhythm up nicely. For longtime fans of the Griselda sound, it’s more of the same quality; for newcomers, any track could make for a great introduction.

Conway The Machine Hosts Some Friends At The “Brooklyn Chop House”

Furthermore, Conway The Machine has a lot of greatness on the way through his solo work and his Drumwork Music Group. With a fresh pool of raw talent on his roster, the Buffalo native is developing himself as much as a curator as he is a lyricist with every release. With that in mind, find WON’T HE DO IT on your preferred streaming service and check out standout bars from “Brooklyn Chop House” down below. Also, check back in with HNHH for the latest on Fabolous, Benny The Butcher, and Conway The Machine.

Quotable Lyrics
Damn, what is you sayin’? I was outside, hustlin’ grams
I looked my man right in his eyes and I said “Bro, what is your plan?”
Run up your bands, this where I stand, I bought some diamonds for both of my hands
If I’m in a jam, I’m uppin’ the can’, you try to run down, won’t let you advance (Brr)

Brent Faiyaz & Marshmello Come Together For New Song “Fell In Love”

Brent Faiyaz has been a very busy man these last few days. From a highly acclaimed album last year with Wasteland paired with a world tour (tickets on sale today) he’s been putting in work. Not only that, Faiyaz has an amazing catalog prior to his new album dropping (mans don’t miss). Since the release of Wasteland, Brent Faiyaz has kept a low profile yet he’s still making waves. Recently, he announced a tour and just days later news surfaced that the R&B star has partnered with Steve Stout’s UnitedMasters.

The partnership will allow Faiyaz to do all of his independent work creating a new creative agency. Additionally, the creative agency will work as a hub for the F*ck The World artist. Not only that, the deal is valued at $50 million. Even Steve Stout said, “Brent Faiyaz is one of the most prolific Independent artists today and we are extremely excited to embark on this new partnership with him.” Although we don’t have an official statement from Brent, it’s clear that the two have come to a healthy agreement regarding the deal.

Brent Faiyaz & Marshmello Drop Some New Heat

Following all the moves he’s recently made, Brent Faiyaz has also put out some new music. Anonymous DJ/producer Marshmello tapped the emerging king of toxic R&B for a new single, “Fell In Love.” Additionally, on the track, Faiyaz croons about a lover that loves the idea of him rather than his true self. It’s a very bouncy track that will have you reminiscing about late ’90s early ’00s R&B. Not only that, this is the first taste of new music from Brent Faiyaz since dropping his sophomore project.

Furthermore, the single is short and sweet, rounding off at two minutes. However, the song is so infectious that you’ll be playing it over and over. It’s got great replay value. Won’t be long ’til we see the summer jam on multiple Tik Toks and reels. Interestingly, this track is released just days before Brent inks his creative agency partnership with UnitedMasters and announces new tour. It’s possible this could’ve been something cooked up from the creative hub. Are you ready for some new music from Brent Faiyaz? Are you feelin’ the new track from him and Marshmello? Let us know in the comments!

Quotable Lyrics:

You ain’t fall in love with me
Fell in love with the man I could be
You ain’t fall in love with me
Fell in love with your vision of me

Tyga Comes Through With New Track “Day One”

Tyga is someone who has found himself go through a ton of artistic evolutions over the years. Overall, he made a name for himself in the early 2010s with some truly amazing features. Subsequently, he was able to build his solo career and became a massive artist. However, things weren’t always great for him. He went through some moments where his sales didn’t match his level of stardom. That said, he persevered in the industry, and he was able to land some massive hits like the song “Taste.”

These days, Tyga continues to release new music, and he is always delivering something new. He has no issues with changing up his style when necessary, and his latest track is an example of that. Today, the artist came through with the song “Day One.” If you are a fan of the artist, you know he already has a song with this title. Overall, this is very confusing for Google’s algorithms, but we digress. This new song is incredibly different, and fans will immediately notice that.

Tyga Delivers A Club Banger

What you will gather from this track is that it is trying to be some sort of club banger that you can play at a Strip Club. The bouncy production is a key facet of that sonic aesthetic. Furthermore, Tyga goes fairly simplistic with his lyrics. Although, they do a good job of matching the overall tone of the track. Regardless of how you feel about Tyga, there is no doubt that he knows how to be catchy. Here, we see that on full display.

With Tyga dropping this new song, it will be interesting to see what else he might bring to the table. Overall, it is certainly going to be very interesting to see. Let us know what you think of this new song, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world.

Quotable Lyrics:

Bitch, I’m a star, lunar
Don’t pose by the bar, they know who we are
Whoever said that I wouldn’t make it far
I say it’s my time, I’m a Audemars

will.i.am And Lil Wayne Join Forces With “The Formula”

will.i.am and Lil Wayne both have extensive resume’s when it comes to their features and overall music catalog. Moreover, it’s a surprise as to why we don’t have more collaborations between the two icons. For as long as they’ve been in Hip-Hop we’ve only gotten two tracks with both of them. Jay Rock’s “All My Life (In The Ghetto)” and Wayne’s feature on the “Scream & Shout” remix. However, that all changes today with a new single from the rap powerhouses.

will.i.am and Lil Wayne have come together for their first collaboration track titled, “The Formula.” Not only that, it’s been a decade since the global producing legend released a solo single. Additionally, will.i.am is a big fan of Formula 1 racing, which most likely prompted the naming of this song. Formula 1 racing has become one of the fastest-growing sports to date. Furthermore, the 2023 FIA Formula 1 champion season will have more F1-inspired tracks as part of the Global Artist in Residence alliance. Interestingly, the release of this track from will. i.am culminates some buzz before the release of the Black Eyed Peas frontman’s solo album in the fall.

will.i.am Releases F1-Inspired Single

The track feels like an attempt at a summer bop, perfect for watching F-1 racing. It won’t be long ’til we see this in every commercial while the F-1 championship series is happening. “The Formula” track is the first of many tracks to be released and will also be featured during the Formula 1 Grand Prix broadcast. The Grand Prix starts this weekend May, 7, 2023.

Nonetheless, there’s no argument that the single is absolutely electrifying and energetic. Not only that the F-1-filled bars from Weezy make for a triumphant single. It’ll be interesting to see how Formula 1 follows this track. As Formula 1 racing and music begin to come together at break-neck speed, will.i.am is at the forefront delivering only the best. Additionally, the forward-thinking production from the legendary producer is second to none. The contagious rhythm and infectious pulsating bassline make for the perfect single to kick off the F-1 Grand Prix. Have you listened to the new track? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Lyrics:

This is the formula
This is the formula
This is the formula

Desiigner Explores His Mental Health On “Timmy Turner 2”

Desiigner has been going through some struggles as of late. Recently, he checked himself into a mental facility over psychiatric concerns. Overall, this stemmed from an incident on a plane where he was pleasuring himself in public. Subsequently, the artist was charged for the incident. However, he has remained very open and honest about everything that has happened. The former GOOD Music roster member is urging people to go and seek help if they need it.

Just yesterday, Desiigner revealed that he would continue to drop music throughout this time. Although this was shocking news to some, it was a welcomed announcement to others. When the rapper first came onto the scene, he impressed people with songs like “Panda” and “Timmy Turner.” As it turns out, Desiigner has just delivered a sequel to the latter. Yes, that’s right, “Timmy Turner 2” has officially arrived.

Desiigner Drops A New Track

On this new track, we get to hear the ending from the original “Timmy Turner,” right at the start. From there, the track turns into a menacing twist on the OG formula. However, this song speaks to Desiigner’s mental state as he speaks about not trusting people and having to move differently. Overall, the melody here is on point and harkens back to the artist’s origins. Although some people are understandably put off by Desiigner right now, this song serves as a comeback in the eyes of some fans.

This is a step in the right direction for the artist. However, with his legal and mental health issues still ongoing, his career remains in limbo. Let us know what you think of this new Desiigner song, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always bring you the biggest albums from the biggest artists.

Quotable Lyrics:

Tiimmy fightin’ demons, yeah, he walk around with burners (Burners)
Put their soul in the furnace, but know everybody lurkin’ (Everybody)

There’s nobody that’s perfect, yeah, Tiimmy out here learnin’, yeah

Lil Uzi Vert Hops On Snow Strippers’ New Song “It’s A Dream”

Lil Uzi Vert is easily one of the most beloved artists in the game. At the end of the day, the people love Uzi. Overall, it is very easy to see why this would be the case. Over the years, he has created some very quality tracks and albums. Moreover, he reminds people of 2016, which was a better time for a lot of people. Either way, there is a lot of hype for a new Uzi project right now. He has a standout hit with “Just Wanna Rock,” and fans are wondering when he will follow that up.

Well, it seems like Lil Uzi Vert is back in the fray. Except for this time around, he is a featured guest on a new song by Snow Strippers. Snow Strippers are an incredible electronic duo that has been making waves on Surf Gang Records. Additionally, they just dropped April Mixtape 3, and their new song with Uzi is the last record. This is a song called “It’s A Dream,” and with the production, Snow Strippers immediately live up to their reputation.

Lil Uzi Vert And Snow Strippers Make A Great Team

The group is known for making some truly wild tracks. Their style of EDM is very unique, and there is no doubt that Lil Uzi Vert was compelled by the sound. Consequently, he delivers a spirited verse and chorus over the track. Uzi fits in well with the eclectic production, and you can’t help but feel like Uzi could do an entire album of this kind of song.

Subsequently, it will be interesting to see what Uzi plans for us next. The Pink Tape is supposedly coming soon, however, we have very little in the way of updates. Let us know what you think of this new song, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the music world.

Quotable Lyrics:

I was bitin’ down, off ecstasy with my back teeth

Gucci Mane To Release “Pissy” Featuring Roddy Ricch And Nardo Wick

Gucci Mane is set to release a new single with a very familiar tone to his old self. On Tuesday, Gucci Mane announced the upcoming single “Pissy” featuring Roddy Richh and Nardo Wick. He released a teaser visual on Instagram raving fans up with what seems to be a sample of one of his most popular hit songs “Lemonade.”The visual features a clip from the 2009 yellow-filled video. The video then transitions into a modern version of the video with appearances from Roddy Ricch and Nardo Wick. Additionally, yellow-themed songs blended seamlessly as the colors play off of the titles of each song. This clip left fans dropping lemon emojis in the comments expressing their excitement for the possible sample.

This release has not been the first time Gucci has teased a return of his older music making a possible comeback. In March, Gucci Mane teased the return of his older self in a teaser for his latest single”06 Gucci” featuring 21 Savage and Dababy. The post included Gucci recreating an old look sporting an Atlanta Braves Jersey. The 17-year difference was refreshing to see the growth of the Atlanta rapper. Coincidentally, Friday’s release follows the same rollout plan. This serves as a reminder of the longevity of Gucci’s career. He has been taking the CEO approach within the past two years as his artists have released most of the label’s music.

Gucci Teases New Single “Pissy”

Gucci Mane has continued his traditional collaborations with Hip Hop’s fresh faces. Recently he has also looked to extend his 1017 label roster. Last month, Gucci released the 1017 Up Next EP. This Ep includes three songs called “Dropboy Freestyle,” “Ceo Flow Freestyle,” and “Droptopwop Freestyle.” Each song includes an open verse inviting anyone who is looking to single to record over. This is one way he has sorted out his social media search for his next artist to add to the label roster. This announcement was predicted by fans after the sudden death of the label’s artist Big Scarr last year.

Furthermore, Gucci continues to balance his life as a CEO, Recording artist, and father. In February he and his wife Keyshia Ka’oir welcomed their second child together, a baby girl named Iceland. His latest single is due to release at midnight.
