There is no denying how talented Fabolous is. The legendary New York-bred rapper has been doing this for decades. Questioning his abilities even in the latter stages of his career would be a major mistake. If he still has doubters he might have just shut them all down with this newest freestyle. Yes, the 46-year-old spitter is back with another installment for his series “Freestyle Fridays.” The last one that HNHH got to break down was back on January 8 with “OSHO Freestyle.” Fabolous has been doing some traveling over the past month or so and that track was inspired by his stay in Dubai.

Before that, he came by with one on Christmas Day when he took a trip down to Tulum located in Mexico. While his birthday does fall in November, he headed down there for a late gift to celebrate. All of the freestyles have been hitting for Fab, especially this new one called “Snooze.” If you are an R&B fan, this is name of an ultra-popular song from 2022 by a special artist.

That of course would be SZA. “Snooze” landed on her critically-acclaimed record SOS. Fabolous has rapped on other artist’s beats recently, so this is nothing new. Babyface Ray Spits Over Trippy Beat On “Waymo Freestyle”

Babyface Ray is a sneaky underrated talent who hails from the crowded scene of Detroit Michigan. We say that because there are so many who attract a lot of attention from the media and fans. Babyface has a more lowkey style compared to artists like Eminem, Danny Brown, Big Sean, and others. If you want to size him up to some of the more recent talents, Veeze and Luh Tyler share similarities. Raspy and conversation-like flows with more minimal production. Whether those two names would like to thank Babyface for his influence remains to be seen.

But, Ray clearly started some movement when he began rapping back in 2014. As we said though, he does not seem to get the recognition for his contributions. Maybe this could be a big year for him. 2023 was a busy one for him, though, with several singles and his album, Summer’s Mine. In 2024, he has gotten off to a quick start as well.

The Off-Season is seen as one of the North Carolina rapper’s best projects. It may be just a step below 2014 Forest Hills Drive for a good amount of Cole listeners. One of the reasons why that release was so strong was due to the amount of great tracks on there. A standout for many especially based on the streaming numbers, is “m y . l i f e.” It features the likes of 21 Savage and Morray.

We mentioned how a great singer was placed on the track. Well, we are referring to the 31-year-old artist who also hails from North Carolina. He had a big hand in the track doing so well. It currently sits at over 379 million streams. Morray’s contributions on the hook were very soulful. It makes sense, seeing as how heavily involved he was the singer in a church choir.

Although he has gone through numerous style changes, there is still this sense that he can reinvent himself, once more.

Recently, the artist came out with a blistering track called “BLOOD ON MY NIKEZ.” Furthermore, there is a version of the song with Juicy J, which just showcases his high profile. If you are a big fan of Curry, then this song definitely hit for you. If you’re not a fan, well, the same thing applies. The track was undeniable and it was a great single to warm fans up for an album. Juice WRLD Posthumously Shares “Cheese And Dope Freestyle”

Late rapper Juice WRLD is still delivering new content to his fans. A video uploaded by his official YouTube account showcases the artist performing his “Cheese and Dope Freestyle” over the beat of Project Pat’s 2001 original. The video was shot by Steve Cannon and Chris Long. “Cheese and Dope Freestyle” comes shortly after his 2018 album, Goodbye & Good Riddance, turned 5-years-old last week. Sharp and venomous, the freestyle reminds fans of the late artist’s tremendous talent and potential.

Fans couldn’t get enough of the new freestyle, with one commenting, “His potential was unmatched, he would’ve been the greatest if he was still alive RIP.” Another says, “He never misses nor ceases to amaze me. Just wow… We miss you Juice 999 forever.” NLE Choppa also shared his thoughts on the video, writing, “The way he can freestyle like it’s a fluent language is out the world talented !” After the 2019 overdose that led to his death, new material from the artist has continuously been released.

Juice WRLD Puts His Spin On “Cheese And Dope”

Earlier this month, it was revealed that after a mural of Juice WRLD in Chicago had been painted over, a new one is in the works. According to his manager Peter Jideonwo, it is still unknown who covered the original. The original mural was painted by Corey Pane in 2020. It was also revealed at the beginning of this month that Juice WRLD is one of the most-streamed rappers, alongside Drake and XXXTentacion, all reaching over 200 million streams per song on Spotify. In April, it was revealed that Juice WRLD has over 30 billion streams total on Spotify.

Juice WRLD’s drug-related death sparked nuanced conversations surrounding topics of drug-use in the hip hop community. In March, Chicago’s Polo G spoke on how the rapper’s death impacted his own decisions. “[His death] made me stop popping Percocets altogether, though,” he explained, “‘Cause I know he wouldn’t want me on that s**t.”
