A video of Scottie Pippen attending an NBA game in Mexico City has quickly become a viral meme on social media. The short clip, posted by the official NBA X account, shows a slightly disgruntled-looking Pippen courtside at the game earlier this week. Adding to the hilarity of the base video is the announcer awkwardly remarking “Scottie Pippen…enjoying the festivities!” as Pippen very much gives someone the stink eye.

Memesters and other users immediately jumped on the six-second clip. There were a lot of jokes about bad smells, especially Pippen appeared to looking at someone off-camera with annoyance and disgust. Another user commented that Pippen looked like a “Carribean mother when a stranger doesn’t greet them.” Meanwhile, someone else argued that Pippen was “looking at everyone like they just f-cked his wife”. Scottie Pippen Rolls With Camera-Flashing Date

However, it’s not only his ex-wife who has been exploring new relationships. Earlier this year, Pippen was spotted out in Malibu with an unknown woman. As photographers crowded Pippen’s SUV as it attempted to leave a parking garage, the woman flashed the cameras. Pippen, for his part, stuck with a more traditional peace sign.

Despite this brief bit of excitement, it’s been a pretty rough year for Pippen. In June, a judge ruled that Larsa is entitled to 50% of Scottie’s NBA pension fund. Signed on June 16, the court order ruled that part of the divorce settlement includes half of the account’s total between when they married (1997) and when they formally separated (November 2016). Furthermore, Larsa is entitled to the full amount that she is owed. This is regardless of whether the fund can currently afford to pay that out. This means that Scottie will have to compensate Larsa if the amount in the pension fund is less than half of what the 1997-2016 total was.

Speaking with celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, Kardashian revealed that she goes “back and forth” about the possibility of another wedding. After being reminded she would like two years of being single, she agreed that the timeline was accurate.

“So I’ve got a year to go,” Kardashian said. “I think that will be really good for me. Not looking, they seem to find me, but I’m not looking.”

NBA Announces Exciting Lineup for 2024 HBCU Classic

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has officially revealed the exciting lineup for the 2024 NBA HBCU Classic presented by AT&T. The highly anticipated event will feature the Virginia Union University Panthers (VUU) and the Winston-Salem State University Rams (WSSU) men’s basketball programs, creating a thrilling Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) matchup. This showdown is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, at the prestigious Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, as part of the NBA All-Star 2024 festivities.

I strongly recommend them to everyone,” Silver told TMZ during a street interview earlier this week. “When guys are more comfortable, makes them play better. So yes, gonna have a direct impact on the game,” Silver added.

SKIMS recently landed a multiyear deal with both the NBA and WNBA in the wake of the launch of its men’s brand, which featured Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as one of the launch models. Charles Barkley Presses Adam Silver On Domestic Violence

However, it’s not all been brand promotion for Silver. Charles Barkley used Silver’s appearance on Inside The NBA to confront the league executive about the sharp rise in domestic violence incidents involving NBA players. Silver appeared completely caught off guard by the question. Eventually, he stammered his way through an answer that essentially boiled to “We tell the players that violence is bad”. However, while Silver said that the “consequences are enormous” for the players, the opposite rings true in practice.

The league only suspended repeat offender Miles Bridges for 10 games. Furthermore, they argued that he served 20 games of the original 30-game suspension by being a free agent last season. Meanwhile, Bridges was arrested in recent weeks for violating his protective order against his original victim. Meanwhile, the NBA has said nothing other than the league being “aware of the situation” when it comes to the Kevin Porter Jr. situation. Of course, Silver is never going to say anything revolutionary when it comes to domestic violence. However, it’s far from the answer that Barkley’s question warranted.

James Harden’s Absence From Sixers Opener Investigated By NBA

The Sixers’ decision to leave James Harden as a healthy scratch for the first two games of the NBA season will be investigated by the league. “We are looking into the facts around James Harden’s availability tonight to determine whether an approved reason exists for his lack of participation,” a league spokesperson told ESPN. New rules implemented for this season limit the number of games “star players” can miss. Furthermore, the rules stringently outline the reasons why a player of Harden’s caliber can miss games.

Harden returned to the Sixers practice facility earlier this week after a ten-day absence for a “personal matter”. Head coach Nick Nurse told reporters that Harden would miss the team’s two-game season-opening road trip against Milwaukee and Toronto so he could “ramp up” to being game-ready. However, things were then complicated by the fact that Harden attempted to board the team’s flight to Wisconsin. He was stopped by security at a private airfield and told he did not have authorization to board the flight.

Harden-less Sixers Fall To Milwaukee

However, the Sixers will be kicking themselves after their Harden-less opener in Milwaukee. Despite four players surpassing 20 points on the night, the team couldn’t overcome the 62 points put up by the Lillard-Giannis tandem. The game ended with a 118-117 win for the hosts. Tyrese Maxey led the team with 31 points while reigning MVP Joel Embiid had 24. Meanwhile, Tobias Harris added and Kelly Oubre Jr. put up 27 off the bench.

Many Sixers fans will argue that the Bucks escaped with the win. The Dame-Giannis tandem was really the only thing that Milwaukee had going for them on opening night. Only two other Bucks, Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis, reached double-digit points. However, the game showed the potency of what the newly formed partnership could achieve. Despite this, the Sixers will look to regroup and bounce back against Toronto. Harden is expected to make his season debut against the Blazers this weekend.

NBA Under DOJ Investigation For Supposed Anticompetitive Behavior Against Ice Cube’s Big3 League: Report

Just hours before the 2023-2024 NBA season tips off, we have some breaking news that is quite surprising. It has nothing to do with any of the players. Instead, it is about the NBA as an organization and its brand image. According to multiple reports, including TMZ Sports, the league has been under an ongoing investigation by the United States Department of Justice. The reason is that Ice Cube’s Big3 league feels there are anticompetitive behaviors in practice from its longstanding counterpart.

The Big3’s aura comes from former NBA players going against each other. It has been in place since 2017 and it is a great league in general. However, they feel the NBA has been working to essentially slowly eliminate them in numerous ways. Namely, they are allegedly “preventing sponsors and other potential partners from doing business.”

In fact, Big3 claims that players have shown interest in playing in it, but they have been denied access. The same goes for referees and owners. They apparently cannot have any sort of hand in helping them out. Owners are in question and if the DOJ finds any evidence, hefty fines could come down.
