Jeanie Buss Calls Out LeBron Fan For Online Harrassment

Jeanie Buss is always dealing with a lot as the owner of the Los Angeles Lakers. Overall, she is the one who must make massive decisions about the team. Moreover, this is doubly hard as her father turned the Lakers into a legendary franchise. She has massive shoes to fill, and it hasn’t always been easy. Although the team won a title in 2020, they have been some difficult seasons. For instance, the Russell Westbrook years were not kind to the team. These last couple of seasons have led to lots of criticism, and much of it has been directed toward Buss.

Unfortunately, some of this criticism has turned into straight-up harassment. Some people are constantly stocking Buss on social media so that they can get their hot takes off. Additionally, some people think it is a good idea to try and play GM in her DMs as if she is going to listen to them. One LeBron fan, however, got her attention. In the tweet below, @BronGotGame wrote “Jeanie Buss replied to my dm’s and I was just thanking her & Pelinka for the trades that went down, be thankful lady.” As you can see, Buss had a firm response to the fan, which is what prompted this public callout.

Jeanie Buss Reacts

Buss became aware of the tweet and came through with some receipts. She showed old DMs from back in November in which the fan called her “the worst owner in sports.” Needless to say, Buss was upset and wanted to set the record straight. “Here is an example of the harassing messages,” she wrote. “As I’ve said on this platform before, everyone is entitled to their opinion so I am not arguing about that. Its just that I don’t want my DM’s to be full of your pretend GM BS trade suggestions that’s all.”

Overall, you can’t help but feel for Buss here. Plenty of NBA fans are extremely toxic, especially in relation to the Lakers. However, she could probably be spending her time a lot more efficiently than beefing with a dude named LeBronchitis. Either way, hopefully, fans start to get the message. Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments below.

Stephen A. Smith Hits LeBron James With A Ton Of Pressure

Stephen A. Smith, just like many other pundits this season, has been forced to talk a lot about the Los Angeles Lakers. Overall, the Lakers have not been a particularly good team. However, they possess the likes of LeBron James, so they are a hot topic of conversation. Moreover, they made some big moves at the trade deadline, and there is an expectation that they will be a lot better toward the playoffs. That said, if the Lakers do miss the playoffs, then they will be clowned for eternity. It also doesn’t help that this would be their second year in a row missing the postseason.

Now that the All-Star Game has passed us by, there are only a few more days left in the All-Star break. Ultimately, this has given Anthony Davis, LeBron, and his teammates plenty of time to rest. For Stephen A., however, their return will be filled with a lot of expectations. As Smith explains, the pressure is on right now for the Lakers. In fact, Smith believes this could damage LeBron’s legacy if they cannot find a way to get into the show.

Stephen A. Gets Honest

“You’re LeBron James, and you’re Anthony Davis, and you’re healthy enough to be on the court. You don’t make the playoffs? That’s quite embarrassing,” Smith said. It is hard to disagree with this assessment. However, it needs to be stated that LeBron and AD cannot do it all. Furthermore, this roster was not well constructed at the start of the year. This put the team in a hole for a very long time. Ultimately, LeBron has been doing everything he can to make this work. It will now be up to everyone else to play their role and give the Lakers some sort of success.

With 23 games left, the Lakers will need to win at least 15 of those games to make it into the playoffs. If they cannot get that done, then LeBron will be out of the postseason, yet again. It will be interesting to see how he plays knowing his legacy could very well take a hit. Stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the sports world.

Allen Iverson Divulges On Why He Takes LeBron Over Michael Jordan

Allen Iverson is someone who got to play against some of the GOATs of basketball. Overall, Iverson is held in high esteem by a lot of fans and players. Although he may not be a GOAT, there are people who want his opinion on the Michael Jordan Vs. LeBron James debate. At this point, the debate is extremely tired, however, it continues to rage on. This is especially true now that LeBron has eclipsed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the all-time scoring record.

During All-Star weekend, Iverson got to be part of some of the festivities. As someone who has played against both LeBron and MJ, some reporters were wondering how Iverson feels about these two. For instance, Marc J. Spears of Andscape asked Iverson directly who he would take between the two. For Iverson, it was a truly tough call. However, he opted to go with LeBron for the following reason.

Allen Iverson Speaks

“LeBron, I think, to me is the best overall basketball player that we’ll ever see,” Iverson said. “If you look in the dictionary and look up basketball player, there’ll be a picture of LeBron. But for me it’s so different because Mike was everything to me. He gave me the vision. He made me want to play basketball. He’s my everything. I wanted to actually be like him, like the commercial, ‘Be like Mike,’ I really wanted to be him. I’m still starstruck every time I see him. I’m still nervous every time. Because he’s Mike to me. He’s my guy. So there’ll never be no one at the top of my list besides Mike. But LeBron is just everything that you want in a basketball player. He’s a total package. He’s God’s gift to the basketball world.”

You can’t help but respect what Iverson has to say on this topic. James and Jordan are two legends of the game, and there is no denying that. Until the end of time, the GOAT debate will be ongoing. In the future, it will be interesting to see if anyone can capture the attention that LeBron and MJ once did. Give us your thoughts on Iverson’s take, down in the comments below.

JJ Redick Gives Brutally Honest Assessment Of Russell Westbrook Signing

JJ Redick has quickly become one of the best NBA analysts out there. Overall, there aren’t a lot of people telling it like it is like Redick. He is someone who actually played the game, and he has some great takes. Moreover, he has become a rising star on First Take. He is always getting into arguments with Stephen A. Smith and Chris “Mad Dog” Russo. These clips always seem to go viral, and for the most part, fans take Redick’s side.

Additionally, Redick has his very own podcast where he is able to react to NBA news as it happens. On Monday, Redick was quick to give his opinion on Russell Westbrook, who signed with the Los Angeles Clippers. Overall, Redick was very honest about the signing, saying it isn’t the best fit. However, Redick wasn’t fully negative. He made sure to say that Russ brings great energy and he could very well help the Clippers in a playoff series.

JJ Redick Speaks

“I think there’s a way that he makes an impact, I don’t know if it’s him playing 30 or 35 minutes a night with Kawhi and PG at this point in his career,” Redick said. “Do I think he’s going to make an impact? Yeah. I was actually having a conversation with somebody on Saturday. We were talking about him going to the Clippers. I could see him, especially come playoffs, winning a playoff game. Where he just comes in, he’s a madman, he’s running around, he’s grabbing loose balls, getting rebounds, taking into transition, attacking the rim, 22 points, eight rebounds, six assists, in 24 minutes. They win a game. Turns the series around.”

At this point, there is no telling what version of Russ we will be getting. As Redick explained, the days of Russ getting starter minutes could be over. That said, the Clippers have needed a point guard for a while, and Westbrook is definitely a great choice. As always, let us know what you think of Redick’s remarks, in the comments down below. Lonzo Ball Hit With More Devastating News

When Lonzo Ball signed with the Chicago Bulls, pretty well everyone agreed that he was a phenomenal fit for the team. Overall, Lonzo is a great point guard who plays solid defense. Additionally, Lonzo perfected his shooting form and actually became a good three-point shooter. With Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan, it became clear that the Bulls had a new big three. Unfortunately, Lonzo hurt his left knee at the beginning of 2022, which led to the decision to get surgery.

Subsequently, Lonzo was subjected to all kinds of issues. After months of rehab, the Bulls superstar was not getting any healthier. He still had pain in his knee and couldn’t really move around. Consequently, the Bulls decided to give Lonzo a second surgery so that he could truly heal himself. However, things have not progressed the way the team was hoping. Ball is still injured and there is no timetable for when he will ever be able to return. In fact, there has been this feeling of hopelessness around the situation that is quite concerning to bare witness to.

Lonzo Ball Injuries

Unfortunately, the Lonzo Ball news continues to get worse and worse. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, we will not see Ball at all this season. “The Chicago Bulls are expected to shut down guard Lonzo Ball for the remainder of the season,” Charania wrote. “Pain and discomfort have persisted in Ball’s left knee following two surgeries at the beginning and end of 2022.” Now, the team will have to rely on its current roster, which recently added none other than Patrick Beverley off waivers. Overall, this is not the situation the Bulls were hoping for at the beginning of their season.

Hopefully, Lonzo can get healthy again. It has been hard to watch him go through all of this. He is a player that is exciting to watch, and the league is more fun when he is on the court. Moving forward, we wish him the best in his recovery. Be sure to stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates from around the sports world.

Meyers Leonard Gets A New Gig Two Years After Anti-Semitic Controversy

Meyers Leonard was seen as a pretty decent role player just a few years ago. Overall, he seemed to have found a great home with the Miami Heat. Additionally, the team was playing great basketball, and Leonard was part of a dynamic frontcourt. However, things took a turn for the worse as it pertains to Leonard’s professional prospects. This is due to the fact that he shouted an Anti-Semitic slur while live on Twitch. It was a truly shocking moment that took NBA fans by surprise.

Leonard was subsequently traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. From there, the team waived him, and he was without a team. Eventually, things went from bad to worse for Leonard as he got nerve damage on his right leg following surgery. This led to a two-year-long rehab process that forced Leonard out of the league. Now, however, he is healthy and has been looking for his next opportunity. There have been some doubts around the league concerning his ability to get signed. Although, one team has decided to bite.

Meyers Leonard Moves On

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Milwaukee Bucks have signed Leonard to a 10-day contract. These 10-day deals are very popular amongst teams as they allow quite a bit of flexibility. Consequently, Leonard will only have a short window to prove himself. If he doesn’t play well, then he will immediately be dismissed and will have to search for a 10-day with a different team. Given his past controversies, this could be his only chance of breaking through into the league again. Needless to say, there will be quite a bit of pressure on him to perform.

There are quite a few Bucks fans who are uncomfortable with this signing. However, it seems like the Bucks themselves seem fine with it. They are a team looking for depth ahead of the playoffs, and only time will tell whether or not Leonard is a solid addition. Given the controversy around him, however, it is easy to see why people are upset. Let us know what you think of this signing, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the sports world.

Patrick Beverley Finds A New NBA Home

Patrick Beverley is one of those players in the NBA that you hate to play against, but love to have on your team. Overall, he is a gritty player that is known for his defense. While he won’t put up incredible offensive numbers, he will still make his presence felt, night in and night out. However, his time with the Los Angeles Lakers this season saw a bit of a regression. Although this could be attributed to that disjointed roster, there is no doubt that the Lakers felt like they could get better. Consequently, this led to a trade that brought Mo Bamba to Los Angeles.

Subsequently, the Orlando Magic decided that they would prefer to buy out Beverley’s deal. This was an expected move that would ultimately turn Beverley into a free agent. With Beverley on the market, there were plenty of teams looking to sign him. One such team was none other than the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls are his hometown team, and it would have made sense for him to go there. In the end, that is exactly what he did as it was announced that the Bulls were officially signing him.

Patrick Beverley Chooses His Team

Interestingly enough, Beverley revealed that there was a second team vying for his services. That team was none other than the Golden State Warriors. Overall, the Warriors are a team that could use some help, and Beverley is among those that could aid the squad. However, as he explained on his podcast, he felt like it was a smarter move to head to Chicago. “It was between Golden State and the Bulls…I figured I make a playoff push with the Bulls right now. The East kinda weak,” Beverley explained.

The Chicago Bulls aren’t in a great position to contend right now. After all, the East boasts teams like the Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Philadelphia 76ers. Although, Beverley seems to have a ton of confidence in his new roster. Only time will tell whether or not this Bulls team can pull it together in time for the postseason. Let us know what you think of the move, in the comments below.

Paul George Speaks Out On Russell Westbrook Signing

Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are a duo that hasn’t played a whole lot of basketball together. Leonard has dealt with a ton of injuries over the years, while George has had to carry the roster. Overall, when healthy, these two have the potential to run the NBA. However, they certainly need just a bit of help as the Western Conference has gotten a whole lot better over the last few months. In fact, their biggest issue has been at the point guard position where they have gone through numerous players.

Over the past few weeks, there have been rumblings that George would be getting a new teammate. The teammate in question was none other than Russell Westbrook. Russ was in the midst of trade rumors, so it made sense. Moreover, George and Russ have played together, and PG has always shown love to the former Thunder superstar. Well, the Lakers traded Russ which subsequently led to the Jazz buying him out. Yesterday, Russ revealed to the world that he intended to sign with the Clippers. Now, the reunion is complete.

Paul George Reacts

Following this big news, there were plenty of graphics made that depicted Russ in a Clippers jersey. As it turns out, this excited George greatly as he shared one of these images on his Instagram story. In the image above, you can see that George wrote “Let’s Go!!!” Consequently, it is now clear that Paul George is absolutely excited to have this new teammate on board. There is no telling how Russ will do in a Clippers jersey, although he promises to be better than his stint with the Lakers. As we all know, Lakers Russ was one of the more disappointing players we have ever seen.

Russ will get to face off against his former team, the Lakers, on April 5th. This will be near the end of the regular season, and it should make for some compelling basketball. Hopefully, Westbrook can get back on track and change the narratives surrounding him. Let us know what you think of the Westbrook signing, in the comments down below. 2 Chainz Acquires Ja Morant’s All-Star Jersey

2 Chainz is a massive basketball fan who goes to as many games as possible. If you know anything about the veteran artist, then you are aware of his basketball prowess. He played ball in college and he was quite good. Although he never made it to the league, he is consistently considered one of the best rapper-hoopers of all time. Moreover, as someone who is from the home of the Atlanta Hawks, he has plenty of opportunities to watch games and relive his basketball past. Furthermore, he has also gotten his son Halo invested in the game.

Already, Halo has shown a ton of interest in the sport. So much so that the 6-year-old is already convinced that he can someday make it to the NBA. Overall, this is a ton of confidence to have. However, you have to love it, and we’re sure with that kind of drive, he will be able to get into the league. As it turns out, Halo already has a favorite player. That player just so happens to be Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies.

2 Chainz Gets The Perfect Gift

Luckily for Halo, his father was at the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday. Morant was playing in the big game which makes sense when you consider how he has been having a monstrous season. 2 Chainz got to watch Morant from some courtside seats, and in the end, this proximity paid off. In the Instagram post below, you can see 2 Chainz with a signed Morant jersey that he wore during the match. As it turns out, Halo expressly told his dad that he wanted the uniform. 2 Chainz even told Ja this, which turned out to be the right strategy. “I told Ja that Halo asked me to get his jersey after all star game and he was wit it.”

With gifts like these, 2 Chainz is going to be winning father of the year. We’re sure Halo is going to love his new jersey which was part of history. As for whether or not the All-Star Game was any good, well, that is neither here nor there. For Halo, however, it led to a gift that he will always cherish.

LeBron James Has Some Advice For Victor Wembanyama

LeBron James was one of the most hyped prodigies ever when he was in high school. Overall, it was almost impossible for him to live up to the hype. However, he managed to do it as he is considered a top-two player to ever step on the court. Now, there is a new prodigy being hyped up over in Europe. Of course, we are talking about the 7’4″ Victor Wembanyama, who is an absolute beast out on the court. As it stands, he is expected to be the future of the entire NBA.

As someone who has been called a prodigy before, LeBron could certainly offer some advice to the young man. In fact, that is exactly what James did while speaking on Wembanyama recently. When asked by ESPN about the French superstar, LeBron had some great things to say. Mostly, James touched on how basketball is a business, and sometimes, a lot is expected of you. However, it is important to stay true to yourself and just have fun.

LeBron Speaks

“The most important thing [for him] is stay true to the game,” LeBron said. “And that’s one thing for me. I always tell myself, ‘I’m going to commit to the game. I’m going to train. I’m going to prepare myself physically, mentally, spiritually, to give to the game if you want to be great.’ The second thing is don’t forget to have fun because it becomes a business. It becomes a business right away. And he’s going through it right now, and it’s going to get even — I don’t want to say worse, but it gets even more demanding on you on the business side.”

At this point, it remains to be seen how Wembanyama will fare in the NBA. As a pro player in France, he has been fantastic. However, there is no guarantee that he is able to translate that to the NBA. Hopefully, he is able to have the same kind of success as LeBron. Let us know what you think of the French star, in the comments down below.
