YFN RICO Case: Seven Defendants Accept Plea Deals, Only Three Remain

The YFN RICO trial is scheduled to kick off at the beginning of 2024, nearly a year after it was expected to begin. When it’s finally underway, however, only three out of the original 12 defendants will be tried. Seven of the defendants have accepted plea deals in the past couple of weeks. Currently, only YFN Lucci, CP3, and Leek remain.

The maximum sentence a defendant’s received was 20 years, eight to serve, and the minimum sentence was probation. It’s unclear whether any of their plea deals require cooperation. The news comes after Lucci rejected a plea deal back in June. It would have seen him spend 17 years behind bars. The deal would have also required him to plead guilty to felony murder, racketeering, aggravated assault, and violation of the street gang terrorism and prevention act.

YFN RICO Trial To Begin In Early 2024

Lucci’s attorneys, Drew Findling and Gabe Banks, told TMZ that District Attorney Fani Willis’ terms were “absurd.” They further accused her of “intentionally dragging her feet” in the case of their client. Young Thug’s YSL RICO trial has been postponed to next year due to his co-defendant’s stabbing, meaning the two trials are likely to coincide. The rappers were also reportedly both named as witnesses in each other’s trials.

Ahead of the postponement, Thug’s attorney Brian Steel described the origin of his client’s beef with Lucci in court. According to him, YFN Lucci is less successful than Young Thug, and tries to attach himself to him for clout. He added that Young Thug himself did something similar to Lil Wayne when he was trying to make a name for himself. Fat Joe’s Menacing Throwback Proves He Was Honest In “5%” Of His Raps

Recently, Fat Joe weighed in on Young Thug’s RICO case, coming to the YSL Records founder’s defense. Prosecutors are attempting to use Thugger’s song lyrics against him, arguing that they portray the criminally charged lifestyle they accuse him of taking part in. He chatted with CNN‘s Gayle King about the matter, claiming that very few of his own lyrics actually reflect the truth.

“I’ve been rapping professionally for 30 years,” he described. “I’ve lied in almost 95 percent of my songs. I’m being honest. I write like I feel that day. I’m just being creative. You couldn’t build a jail high enough for the lyrics I’ve said on songs, which are all untrue. What I am is a family man, the person who gives back to my community all the time, opens businesses in my community.”

Fat Joe Shares Old Gun Photo

The New York native received a bit of backlash for his comments and later took to Instagram Live to explain himself. According to him, even though most of his lyrics are simply a result of his creativity, he still “lived a real f*cking life in the streets.” Now, he’s provided his IG followers with some evidence of that life, posting an old throwback photo. In the photo, a young Fat Joe is seen pointing a gun at the camera, rocking a leather jacket and a black hat. “This was the other 5%,” he captioned it, adding a laughing emoji.

Following his comments about lying in his raps, Joe Budden chimed in, accusing him of making that up. “First of all, Fat Joe is lying,” he said. “That’s number one. Fat Joe is lying. Lil Pump Shares New Video In Full Makeup Sparking Fan Debate

In a new clip making the rounds online, Lil Pump sparked pretty rigorous debate among fans. In the clip he appears to be wearing a full face of makeup. He appears to have done it for a joke at the expense of girls taking selfies in the truck he’s driving. He captioned the video “Is this accurate?” which seems to be in reference to the joke, though some are interpreting the entire clip differently.

In the comments of a repost of the video, fans debate whether he’s actually wearing all that makeup or using some kind of filter. “Is this a filter or a real beat? Am I high?” the top comment on the post asks. Many responses to that comment and other comments on the post pose similar questions as fans breakdown his appearance. “Bro using a filter or he got on makeup??” another also asks. Others point out the amount of effort that would have gone into doing his makeup for such a short video. “But, did he make a video making fun of them or was it really to show that’s he’s in one too? Elsewhere in the comments, fans reference a different recent Lil Pump story. That story was Pump getting his nails done and flexing the manicure online. Unsurprisingly fans were divided and it even inspired The Game to take to the comments to express his disapproval with the move. Pump has never been shy about his fashion and often makes waves these days for changing his appearance frequently.

Pump is also still controversial for his association with Donald Trump. After famously being touted as a supporter on stage during Trump’s last campaign, they’re still affiliated. The rapper received a shoutout from the former president at a recent rally in Florida. What Time Does iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Atlanta Start?

The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball show in Atlanta tonight will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET, and it’s unclear how long the event will run for. However, there are quite a lot of artists and sets to get through, so it will be a jam-packed night of music.

Considering it is just one stage that the artists will share, the event will likely end around 10:30 or 11 p.m., based on a typical concert curfew.

A few tickets to Jingle Ball Atlanta for tonight are still available, with prices starting at $46. More information can be found here.

Coi Leray‘s well-known for her twerk videos, but in a new video posted to her social media, she’s “elevated” her game. The vid, which she originally posted on TikTok and shared to Twitter, depicts Leray showing off some truly impressive upper-body strength as she climbs a stripper pole and does a split. The odd part is the song choice — she’s doing all this to Mariah Carey’s holiday classic, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

Naturally, the comments are full of fans expressing their approval for Coi’s other skills. Fellow rapper Fredo Bang joked, “If u needed a pole you could’ve just called me bby,” while others just posted barking dogs, memes, and prayers to the heavens. Some are … well, let’s just say, we can’t embed them in this post. There’s even one from a particularly unhinged Nicki Minaj fan (jokingly?) accusing Coi of trying to upset the rollout for Pink Friday 2 (which was a week ago, by the way).

Diddy Secures New Legal Representation Amid Sexual Assault Lawsuits

Last month, Diddy’s ex Cassie filed a lawsuit against the Bad Boy Records founder, accusing him of rape, physical and emotional abuse, and more. The two of them settled shortly after she filed, but her suit was followed by three similar ones. Diddy has since denied the allegations.

Now, it appears as though the mogul is gearing up for a serious legal battle, enlisting the help of some prominent attorneys. According to AllHipHop‘s Kyle Eustice, Diddy now has Jonathan D. Davis, Alyssa M. Pronley, and Anthony C. LoMonaco on retainer. The outlet reports that they’ll represent him in his cases against former Syracuse University student Joi Dickerson-Neal and against an anonymous woman. Dickerson-Neal accuses him of sexually assaulting her in 1991 while the anonymous woman accuses him and Harve Pierre of gang-raping her when she was 17.

Following news of his fourth sexual assault lawsuit, Diddy took to social media to once again deny the allegations. “Enough is enough,” his message began. “For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear; I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”

In light of the suits, at least 18 different brands have reportedly cut ties with Diddy. It was also recently revealed that he had a Hulu show in the works, Diddy+7, which has now been scrapped. He’s additionally in the running for a Grammy, but it’s unclear whether he’ll be invited to the awards ceremony. “We are taking this matter very seriously and we are in the process of evaluating it with the time and care that it deserves,” the Recording Academy announced this week. During a recent interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music she reflected on a year that saw her star power reaching higher than ever before. During one segment of the interview when she focuses on what’s next she makes a surprising revelation. “I don’t have any more goals,” she revealed.

In an effort to explain herself, she discussed the incredibly impressive list of achievements she’s pulled off. “I didn’t think I would ever go platinum. I sold a bunch of records, I got to meet Stevie Wonder, I got to meet Beyoncé and work with her, I got to meet Frank Ocean. My mom came and my dad came to all these cool countries to see me perform. I’ve had sold-out shows, I got to headline a festival,” she explained. “I’m nominated for Grammys. I’ve won a Grammy. I’m done, for me, personally. … Anything past this is so much more than I wanted, thought of, dreamed of.” It’s a fair question to wonder what else is even left for her to achieve. While Cenat and his crew found it hilarious, most commenters online thought it was weird and childish. “N-ggas is weird, I swear they been doing this since middle school,” one person summarized on Instagram.

Despite the weirdness, Minaj’s appearance was a rousing success for Cenat. Minaj was loving the chaotic vibes and wealth of attention. At one point, Minaj sent chat wild by furiously twerking at the camera. Furthermore, the pair broke Cenat’s single-stream viewership record. According to Stream Charts, the stream peaked at 348,593 viewers. Cenat typically averages around 34K for a regular stream. His previous record was just over 306,000 viewers. Elsewhere, Cenat continued his charade of pretending that he had bought Rubi Rose a genuine Birkin bag. The streamer called up the rapper and influencer to show her the bag while he was live. Rose appeared skeptical, saying she knew it was from Temu. However, Cenat insisted it was real and appeared to get Rose to believe him. Despite this, Cenat laughed giddily and slapped his desk multiple times after ending the call, confirming the bag was indeed a fake.

The ruse was put in motion a few weeks ago when Cenat hit up Rose, Corinna Kopf, and Pokimane with the offer to buy them all Birkin bags. However, while talking to the three women, he was simultaneously showing his stream chat his screen, which was on the dropshipping website Temu. It’s unclear if the three women are in on the joke or are victims of Cenat’s prank.

Back in 2022, Rick Ross made a surprising promise to fans. He claimed that he was planning on climbing the tallest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro. He initially said he was going to do it in 2023 and was silent on the promise for much of the year. While on a run with his friend, author Neil Martinez-Belkin, Ross the newest details on his climb with fans. “I mentioned on the podcast last year we was climbing to the top of Kilimanjaro. It’s official. Early 2024. It’s going down,” he began. He also claims to be in the best shape of his life and has high hopes for his ability to summit the mountain. Much of the Rick Ross discussion on social media recently has centered around his new boo Christina Mackey.
