Megan Thee Stallion’s Lawyers Find Proof Tory Lanez Paid Off Blogger

Megan Thee Stallion is taking legal action. The rapper may have won her court battle against Tory Lanez, but she’s not stopping. She has filed a request for a restraining order against Lanez, despite the fact that he’s behind bars. She’s also filed a lawsuit against Milagro Gramz, a blogger who has campaigned for the Canadian rapper’s innocence. Megan Thee Stallion’s request details ways in which Lanez has engaged in “psychological warefare” against her. The most compelling piece of evidence, however, links Lanez and the aforementioned blogger.

Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyers were able to find Zelle records between Lanez’s dad and Milagro Gramz. Between October 28, 2020 and March 3, 2022, Sonstar Carlisle John Peterson seemingly paid Gramz a whopping $3K. This was spread out over various payments. Some as small as $200 or high as $1K. This revelation arrives at an awkward time for Tory Lanez’s defense. The rapper’s lawyer, Ceasar McDowell, issued a statement denying any connection between his client and Milagro Gramz.

The most recent wave of accusations,” McDowell told TMZ “Involves claims that during a phone call, Mr. Peterson’s father allegedly stated, ‘Ms. Pete would be unable to prove that Mr. Peterson paid Ms. Cooper to attack Ms. Pete.’” The lawyer noted that Lanez’s father added “Because you didn’t,’” which seemingly proved there was no foul play. The new Zelle records, however, suggest that Megan Thee Stallion’s team was on the right track. The rapper has already filed a lawsuit against Milagro Gramz on grounds of severe emotional distress.

Megan Thee Stallion claimed the blogger had knowingly spread lies about her and her shooting online as a means of brandishing Lanez’s side of the story. She also accused Milagro Gramz of serving as Lanez’s “puppet” while the rapper is behind bars. The Zelle records appear to support the allegations made via the Milagro lawsuit. Meghan Cuniff, an independent reporter, theorized that the Zelle records will help to bolster the lawsuit. “The payments aren’t recent and I don’t think they’re much evidence for any kind of new restraining order,” the reported posited. “But Megan’s lawyers may cite them in their intentional infliction of emotional distress lawsuit against Milagro.”

Megan Thee Stallion Has Reportedly Filed A Restraining Order Against Tory Lanez

In August 2023, Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison in connection to the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. Over a year later, the “Roc Steady” rapper recounted the life-changing incident in her documentary, Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words. But in Megan’s eyes that chapter of her life is not over.

Today (December 17), Megan Thee Stallion is looking to end things for good. According to TMZ, Megan Thee Stallion filed a restraining order against citing “ongoing harassment.”

In the documents obtained by the outlet, Meg’s legal team claims to prison phone call logs of Tory Lanez where he allegedly plots to terrorize her with the help of others.

One of the individuals supposed connected to the supposed “conspiratorial relationship” is blogger Milagro Gramz (real name Elizabeth Milagro Cooper). Meg went on to accuse Cooper of accepting payments from Lanez to aid in his “psychological warfare.” Cooper vehemently denies this claim.

Megan filed a similar case against Cooper accusing her of purposely spreading misinformation during Lanez’s trial, online bullying, and defamation of character.

Megan Thee Stallion’s goal should the restraining order be granted is the courts to force Lanez from “contacting, harassing, or intimidating her” both “directly or through third parties.”

Tory Lanez’s Attorney Responds To Megan Thee Stallion’s New Milagro Gramz Allegations

Back in October, Megan Thee Stallion filed a lawsuit against Milagro Gramz. She accuses the gossip blogger of spreading false information about her and the Tory Lanez shooting case. “Enough is enough,” attorneys for the Texas rapper wrote. “Ms. Pete—a victim of violent crime and champion of women’s rights to her millions of fans worldwide—will no longer stand for defendant’s campaign of harassment.”

In response, Gramz filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit in November, accusing Meg of trying to violate her First Amendment right to free speech. The “Hiss” performer is not letting up, however, and even amended the suit to include new allegations earlier this week. She’s now accusing Lanez of being in cahoots with Gramz. According to her, he allegedly discussed paying her to trash Meg during a prison call with his father. “In one phone call, the Petersons confidently asserted that Ms. Pete would be unable to prove that Mr. Peterson paid Defendant for attacking Ms. Pete,” the suit alleges.

Tory Lanez’s Attorney Accuses Megan Thee Stallion Of “Misrepresenting The Truth”

Lanez’s attorney Ceasar McDowell has now issued a statement in response to these allegations, fervently denying them. “We are deeply concerned by the continued efforts to spin partial stories in an attempt to distort the truth and mislead the public,” he told TMZ in part. “The most recent wave of accusations involves claims that during a phone call, Mr. Peterson’s father allegedly stated, ‘Ms. Pete would be unable to prove that Mr. Peterson paid Ms. Cooper to attack Ms. Pete.’ However, they conveniently omitted a crucial part of the conversation where Mr. Peterson’s father added, ‘because you didn’t.’”

McDowell continued, alleging that there’s a “consistent pattern of spinning narratives, manipulating facts, and misrepresenting the truth.” He added, “Unite the People will not stand by and allow these bullies to continue their smear campaign. We will not be intimidated, and we will continue to fight for justice.”

Megan Thee Stallion Accuses Tory Lanez Of Being In Cahoots With Milagro Gramz

In October of this year, Megan Thee Stallion filed a lawsuit against YouTuber Milagro Gramz. In it, she accuses her of “churning out falsehoods” about the Tory Lanez shooting case. Her team also points out Gramz’s alleged campaign to “denigrate, belittle, insult, and spread false statements” about Meg. “Enough is enough,” her attorneys wrote. “Ms. Pete—a victim of violent crime and champion of women’s rights to her millions of fans worldwide—will no longer stand for defendant’s campaign of harassment.”

Last month, Gramz filed a motion to dismiss the suit for failure to state a claim, according to Meghann Cuniff. “Rather than rebut the allegations online, Plaintiff chose to use the Courts to intimidate and silence the Defendant from exercising her First Amendment rights to publish her opinions and beliefs and also to serve as a warning to other critics that if the Plaintiff does not like what you say about her, you will likely have to deal with a federal lawsuit,” it read in part. Now, Meg and her team have amended the suit and included some new allegations involving Lanez.

Megan Thee Stallion Adds New Allegations To Milagro Gramz Lawsuit

Meg’s team accuses Lanez and his father Sonstar Peterson of talking about paying Gramz to orchestrate a harassment campaign against her during a prison phone call. “In one phone call, the Petersons confidently asserted that Ms. Pete would be unable to prove that Mr. Peterson paid Defendant for attacking Ms. Pete,” the filing alleges. At the time of writing, Lanez’s team has yet to address these allegations.

This latest update arrives shortly after the judge overseeing the case ordered Meg and Gramz to try to work out their differences in a court-mandated mediation session. The session is scheduled for March 10 of next year and will take place via Zoom. Both parties are reportedly required to file mediation reports no later than seven days after the session.

Back in October, Megan Thee Stallion hit YouTuber and internet personality Milagro Gramz with a lawsuit. In it, she accuses her of “churning out falsehoods” about the Tory Lanez shooting case. She also cites an alleged campaign to “denigrate, belittle, insult, and spread false statements.”

“Enough is enough,” Meg’s attorneys wrote. “Ms. Pete—a victim of violent crime and champion of women’s rights to her millions of fans worldwide—will no longer stand for defendant’s campaign of harassment.” Late last month, Gramz filed a dismissal motion for failure to state a claim, per Meghann Cuniff. “Rather than rebut the allegations online, Plaintiff chose to use the Courts to intimidate and silence the Defendant from exercising her First Amendment rights to publish her opinions and beliefs and also to serve as a warning to other critics that if the Plaintiff does not like what you say about her, you will likely have to deal with a federal lawsuit,” the motion states in part.

“This is evidenced by Plaintiff’s Complaint, which reads more like a press release than a legal document,” it continues. “Defendant submits that that Plaintiff’s Complaint which is buttressed on dubious legal claims and irrelevant and impertinent allegations that at best only tangentially relate to the Plaintiff, fails to state a cause of action under Florida law and should be DISMISSED.”

Now, according to AllHipHop, Meg and Gramz have been ordered to try to work things out in a mediation session. Reportedly, it’s been scheduled for March 10 of next year and will take place via Zoom. Retired Judge Scott Silverman will oversee it. Both parties are required to file mediation reports no later than seven days after the session.

Milagro Gramz Wants Megan Thee Stallion’s “Dubious” Lawsuit Dismissed

Milagro Gramz has filed a motion requesting to have Megan Thee Stallion’s recent lawsuit against her dismissed on the grounds of failure to claim, arguing Megan’s complaint is insufficient. In the filing, her legal team wrote: “Plaintiff is suggesting here that merely liking, linking to, or talking about an online post regarding a public figure is a criminal offense.” Megan filed the lawsuit back in October, accusing Milagro of allegedly spreading numerous falsehoods about her and her criminal case against Tory Lanez.

“Rather than rebut the allegations online, Plaintiff chose to use the Courts to intimidate and silence the Defendant from exercising her First Amendment rights to publish her opinions and beliefs and also to serve as a warning to other critics that if the Plaintiff does not like what you say about her, you will likely have to deal with a federal lawsuit,” the filing argues. “This is evidenced by Plaintiff’s Complaint, which reads more like a press release than a legal document. Defendant submits that that Plaintiff’s Complaint which is buttressed on dubious legal claims and irrelevant and impertinent allegations that at best only tangentially relate to the Plaintiff, fails to state a cause of action under Florida law and should be DISMISSED.”

Megan previously explained the motivations behind her lawsuit in a statement at the time of filing. “It’s time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life,” she said in a statement shared with VIBE. “I’ve endured countless attacks on my character based on false narratives from social media bloggers misrepresenting themselves as journalists. It’s unacceptable behavior and these individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods.” She noted in the lawsuit that the false rumors had “a negative effect” on her “mental and emotional state.”

Milagro Gramz Eviscerates Joe Budden For Speaking On Megan Thee Stallion’s Lawsuit Against Her

Milagro Gramz is tired of people talking about her without doing their proper research, or at least, that’s what she’s accusing Joe Budden of. The YouTuber recently took to Instagram Live and blasted the podcaster for talking about her legal battle with Megan Thee Stallion.

“So to sit up and to try to bring me up like you got a leg to stand on is crazy,” Milagro Gramz jabbed at Joe Budden. “I could see if you had a difference of opinion, and you was coming at me. But babe, you block people who don’t laugh. And I block people who waste my time, just like you. Look at you, blocked. And I’ma block some more h*es if I feel like it. So I’m just confused as to why he feels the need to do that. Okay, second of all – But I already know why. This the hate train era?

Milagro Gramz Blasts Joe Budden For Bringin Up Megan Thee Stallion Drama

“So anyway, then he decides to bring me up, you know, off the tail end of Tasha K,” Milagro Gramz continued concerning Joe Budden. “I have an issue with something that Tasha K said about me in the past. I did not like it, it was a full-fledged lie. She owes me an apology. I’ve stood on that for years. […] So I moved on with my life. […] That ain’t stop me from interacting with her because there are stories to be told and there’s different things to talk about. But do I have an active issue with Tasha K? No. It’s as simple as what I said it was. She owes me an apology. It’s a lot of s**t that I could get over with some acknowledgement. ‘Cause it’s all about principles in the first place for me. So I ain’t got to hold onto it if you address it. But she hasn’t addressed it.”

For those unaware, Megan Thee Stallion accused Milagro Gramz of spreading false information about the Tory Lanez shooting case. It seems like the case will go to trial next year, although some rumors of a settlement continue to persist in certain Internet corners. We’ll see if Joe Budden changes his tune about any of this after this call-out.

Megan Thee Stallion’s Lawsuit Against Milagro Gramz Gets Possible Trial Date As Settlement Talks Continue

Megan Thee Stallion and Milagro Gramz have proposed July 21, 2025, as a possible trial date for their case regarding Megan’s allegation that Milagro shared false information about her and the criminal case against Tory Lanez. Despite planning ahead for trial, the two sides will continue to discuss terms of a settlement. “The Parties will explore the possibility of a settlement in good faith; however, it is premature to address whether settlement is likely,” a new joint filing in the case reads.

Megan filed the lawsuit late last month, describing Milagro as a “mouthpiece and puppet” for Lanez, who was convicted of shooting Megan in 2023. Milagro Gramz Responds To Megan Thee Stallion’s Lawsuit Over Her Tory Lanez Coverage

Milagro Gramz addressed Megan Thee Stallion’s decision to file a lawsuit against her in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday morning. “I’ve been informed that I’m being sued by Alex Spiro on behalf of his client Megan Thee Stallion,” she wrote before sharing an excerpt of a notice she received. “Of course we’ll chat about it. They threw in the tape too.” Megan filed the lawsuit earlier in the day, labeling the YouTuber a “mouthpiece and puppet” for Tory Lanez, who has allegedly been “churning out falsehoods” about the criminal case in which Lanez was convicted of shooting her.

Megan’s attorney wrote in the filing, as caught by Billboard: “Enough is enough. Ms. Pete—a victim of violent crime and champion of women’s rights to her millions of fans worldwide—will no longer stand for the defendant’s campaign of harassment.” They went on to accuse Milagro of cyberstalking, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and invasion of privacy.

Her lawyers also cited several falsehoods about the case that Milagro allegedly spread. “Defendant Cooper’s statements recklessly disregarded the truth and suggested that the firearm was never presented in court because it had allegedly disappeared. It has not. The firearm remains in the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department,” they wrote in part.
