Earlier this month, Rihanna revealed that ASAP Rocky has been hard at work on his new album. While that didn’t satisfy the pop fans who have been waiting since 2016 for a new project from RiRi, it got rap fans buzzing. They didn’t have to wait long for something to capture their attention either. Earlier today Rocky dropped some new merch onto his AWGE website. The merch prominently features the bulletproof vests that he wore in performances last year.

The vest also appears in the video for his single “Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n)” which dropped last year and many think may be a single from his new album. Rocky has been teasing a new album called DON’T BE DUMB for years now and there have been numerous times when fans felt it was close. Despite that concrete updates on the album have been very few and far between. But with Rihanna’s announcement and the new merch drop fans once again think they may be close to getting the first new Rocky album since 2018’s Testing.

ASAP Rocky’s New Merch Has Fans Talking New Album

Rocky has appeared on a few features already this year including on one of Future & Metro Boomin’s new albums. He was almost on ScHoolboy Q’s new album Blue Lips. Q has a pretty long gap of his own between releases returning after 5 years away. In an interview he explained that Rocky was meant to make an appearance on the new album but schedules were just too busy and it couldn’t be lined up.

Rocky hasn’t released any singles of his own this year but he did collaborate on the track “Gangsta” with Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals that dropped back in February. The Weeknd Drops New Fortnite Collab Merch

Over the weekend, Fortnite released its newest feature. The game allowed fans to interact directly in a rhythm game format with songs from some of the biggest artists in the world. Kendrick Lamar, Coldplay, The Killers, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, and many more artists had songs included in the new mode. But the biggest of the bunch was one of the biggest artists in all of music right now, The Weeknd. As part of the launch the game had a weekend-long celebration of the new mode. That spilled into this week when even more new material was dropped.

The newest addition to The Weeknd and Fortnite’s recent collab is a series of merch dropped on the superstar’s website. The merch features a combination of Abel’s After Hours Tour aesthetic with visuals from Fortnite. Included in the drop are 5 shirts each with different graphics on them. Three of the shirts have sleeves while the other two are cut offs. There’s also two hoodies sporting similar designs from two of the t-shirts and a sparsely decorated bomber jacket featuring just two logos. That all comes alongside two hats, a black snapback and a camo trucker hat, as well as an action figure of The Weeknd himself which runs nearly $100. Check out the full merch drop below.

The Weeknd X Fortnite Merch

Elsewhere in celebration of the new collaboration between The Weeknd and Fortnite, a flash mob of people dressed as the singer’s After Hours character popped up in New York. The promotion featured hundreds of dancers seemingly enjoying themselves dancing to multiple Weeknd songs.

The Weeknd recently wrapped up an extremely impressive tour on the back of his past two albums Dawn F.M. and After Hours. He broke numerous records for individual sales at various stops along the way. He also broke the record for highest tour gross ever by a black artist on a European tour. Drake And OVO Celebrate “For All The Dogs” With Special Varsity Jacket

Drake’s new album For All The Dogs has been massively successful. The album dumped its entire tracklist into the top 50 of the Hot 100 and many of the songs still remain. The bunch are highlighted by “First Person Shooter” with J. Cole which became a number one hit and “IDGAF” with Yeat which still finds itself in the top 10 this week. The album was also a massive hit on the Billboard 200 where it’s been in the top 2 for three weeks. Dozens of other Billboard charts also had their top 10s rocked by the album’s release.

Now Drake and OVO are taking a victory lap. There’s already been plenty of merch from the album and the rapper’s “It’s All A Blur” tour, but they dropped one more piece. The new item is a For All The Dogs varsity jacket covered in various patches and sporting the album artwork on the back. The jacket costs just under $1000 and is expected to ship in January. Fans hoping to get their hands on one may have to wait around hoping for a restock. Within the first few hours of the release of the varsity jacket, it sold out in every single size. Over the weekend, Drake broke his silence on the Israel-Palestine conflict. Since the conflict broke out earlier this month some had publicly called him out for his silence. He took a very safe approach to finally commenting, signing a letter calling for a ceasefire.

Last week Drake celebrated his 37th birthday with a bunch of new RIAA certifications. A number of his albums and singles continued to rack up Platinum status. Drake Releases New Line Of “For All The Dogs Merch”

Drake’s feature-packed new album For All The Dogs has been a smash commercial hit. It had tremendous first-week sales tallying over 400k copies. The project racked up over 160k sales in its second week on the charts, good enough for number two this week. Early projections for next week see the album holding off debuts from Blink-182 and The Rolling Stones to return to the number-one spot for a second week.

Now, Drake is capitalizing on the album’s appeal with some new merch. Earlier today he shared six new pieces of For All The Dogs merch. Included in the drop are 5 new shirts and a hoodie. Among the shirts is a simple one sporting only the album cover of the record. It also featured shirts themed around songs from the album like “7969 Santa” and “Bahamas Promises.” The prices range from $45 for the simple t-shirt all the way up to $225 for the special FATD hoodie. Earlier this week, Drake celebrated his 37th birthday. At a party he threw the rapper was somehow able to pull off getting Breaking Bad stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul on board to serve drinks. Some artists like Nicki Minaj celebrated by sharing throwback pics of the two together. Others, lil Lil Yachty took a different approach.

The rapper, who has a notoriously funny relationship with Drake, took the opportunity to troll him. He took to his Instagram story to tease the release of a video he apparently has of Drizzy eating a glizzy. Beyonce Shares The Third Amazon Exclusive “Renaissance” Merch Drop

Fans who missed out on Beyonce’s original Renaissance merch line or the first two Amazon exclusive merch drops will get another chance. Earlier today Amazon Shopping confirmed that the third collection of Renaissance World Tour Merch was officially out. The new collection features a number of new t-shirt designs, a pair of new hoodies, and a new hat and tote bag. Specific sizes are already beginning to sell out so fans craving merch should absolutely hurry up and make their purchase.

The first drop of Amazon-partnered Renaissance merch came back in late June. The surprise announcement had fans rushing to their computers and the entire collection sold out quickly. The second drop of their collaboration ended with similar results a few weeks later. It’s unclear how many more drops they have planned for the collaboration. The Renaissance tour is slated to wrap up on October 1st with its final show in Kansas City.

The Renaissance tour also hasn’t been without its controversies. Earlier this month fans were shocked to hear about a hostile workplace lawsuit filed against Lizzo. The same night the news dropped, Bey skipped over Lizzo’s name in the Queens Remix of “Break My Soul.” Fans were quick to interpret that as a shot at the “About Damn Time” singer even after Bey’s own mother tried to shut down the rumor. She seemed to confirm the lack of any issues at a recent Atlanta stop when she declared “I love you, Lizzo” during the show.

The shows have also attracted a massive celebrity audience. In just the Atlanta stops alone Chloe and Halle Bailey, Quavo, Summer Walker, 21 Savage, and more were in attendance. Pretty much every single stop on the Renaissance tour in both Europe and North America has been a hotbed for celebs. Coi Leray Shows Off The Merch From Her New Album

Coi Leray’s new album COI is right around the corner. The album is expected to be released later this month on the 23rd. Now fans can also expect to get their hands on some new merch related to the record. In a new Instagram post made today Leray showed off four new shirts that sport the logo and album cover from her forthcoming sophomore album. The captions of the post reads “Album Merch dropping 6/23 “COI” YOU MUST GET YOU ONE !!!!” Meaning fans can expect to get their hands on merch the same day the album releases.

In the lead-up to her new album Coi Leray has been quite prolific. Earlier this year she released a number of remixes from her 2022 single “Players.” The song has gone on to be a smash hit that peaked at number 9 on the Hot 100. She followed that up by teaming up with pop singer Sabrina Carpenter for a remix of her song “Nonsense.” Back in April David Guetta released his new single “Baby Don’t Hurt Me,” which featured Leray and Anne-Marie. That song has proved to be a slow-burning hit, moving up the charts each week in the past month to its current peak at number 82.

Coi Leray’s New Merch Drop

Since then, Coi Leray has dropped two new songs that will appear on the new album, “Bops” and “My Body.” Earlier today, Kid Cudi confirmed the line-up for the second edition of his Moon Man’s Landing festival. Cudi himself is playing, alongside other headliners Coi Leray, Lil Uzt Vert, and $uicideboy$.

COI drops later this month and has features from David Guetta, Saucy Santana, Giggs, Lola Brooke, James Brown, and Skillibeng.
