Diddy’s Sons Demand Author Of Alleged Kim Porter Memoir To Shut Down Sales

For the past couple of months, Diddy’s children have been extremely upset with the alleged memoir of their late mother, Kim Porter. The book, released by Chris Todd, aka “Jamal T. Millwood,” had the internet talking for a hot minute about its salacious, disturbing, and deeply personal material. It became an Amazon Best Seller fairly quickly despite the fact that none of the stuff in the paperback is confirmed to be true. Diddy’s kids made sure to spread that message in a past statement.

“Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not. And anyone claiming to have a manuscript is mispresenting themselves.” Amazon did pull the “memoir” from their digital shelves early last month, but there’s still more work to be done. According to TMZ, Quincy and Christian Combs are threatening Courtney Burgess and his attorney, Ariel Mitchell, with potential legal action.

If The Book Isn’t Removed, Diddy’s Sons Are Suing

They sent out a cease-and-desist letter to these two because of Burgess’ heavy promotion of the alleged memoir. He was claiming that the entire book was unedited copy of Porter’s diary. Furthermore, he says he has a flash drive from people close to her with proof. Quincy and Christian are saying that flash drive is “patently false,” however.

However, if he doesn’t comply with the Combs’, then a lawsuit is coming his way. To be exact, Burgess has five days to stop selling the book, stop doing interviews, and to hand over any possessions of Kim’s that he claims to have. They might have some solid standing because the boys claim to be the heirs to Kim’s intellectual property rights after her death. The feds currently have Burgess’ phone which he says has a copy of the flash drive data for the memoir. It will be an interesting five days for sure.

Kim Porter’s Friend Shoots Down New Claims Of A Hidden Memoir

Kim Porter may have passed in 2018, but she has been a major talking point in 2018. The model had four children with Diddy, who has become one of the most reviled figures in popular culture. Numerous claims have been made on behalf of Porter, with most revolving around the notion of a hidden memoir. There’s been widespread debate as to whether the model kept a diary of her experiences with Diddy, or whether this has merely been a way of drumming up controversy for various people to profit. Kim Porter’s friend, Lawanda Lane, asserts that it is the latter.

Lawanda Lane is the caregiver of Kim Porter and Diddy’s twin daughters. She’s also, according to TMZ, Porter’s best friend during the last three decades of Porter’s life. If anybody has insight into the model’s perspective, it would be Lane. And she is using said perspective to shut down the claims made by a new witness in the Diddy case. Lane told the outlet that she was with Porter nearly every day, and never saw the late model write in a diary. She also called out the aforementioned Diddy witness, Courtney Burgess, for claiming to have found a manuscript of a memoir.

Kim Porter’s Friend Claim No Such Memoir Exists

For one, Lane posits, there is no memoir, and for another, she claims to have been tasked with going through Kim Porter’s belongings after her death. If there was a memoir, as Burgess states, that Lane told TMZ that she would have been the one to find it. Burgess previously told the outlet that he had footage of Diddy’s so-called “freak off” parties, as well as Porter’s manuscript. Burgess and his lawyer voiced a to publish said manuscript as soon as possible.

This is not the first time a Kim Porter memoir has been pitched to the public. In September, the book Kim’s Lost Words was released through Amazon. The book was dismissed outright by the Combs family as inauthentic. The author, Chris Todd, later told Rolling Stone that he was unsure if the claims made in the purported memoir were even true. “I don’t know,” he explained. But it’s real enough to me… Maybe 80% is.” If we are to believe Lawanda Lane, then the new claims of a Kim Porter memoir will be similarly unreliable.

Andrea Kelly Teases Diddy And R Kelly Stories In Her New Memoir

Andrea Kelly has had a difficult decade. Despite being divorced from R. Kelly, the choreographer was dragged in the media circus surrounding his arrest. R. Kelly was convicted on multiple charges of child sexual abuse in 2022, and is currently serving three decades behind bars. Andrea Kelly was subject to lots of slander and speculation, given that she was married to the singer for over a decade. She has decided to set the record straight, however. Andrea Kelly announced plans to publish a tell-all book about her life. And she’s using R. Kelly and Diddy to promote it.

The announcement came via Instagram. Andrea Kelly posted a video with narration and dramatic music. Under the Red Carpet is the name of the book, and the caption under the video provides more context. Kelly claims that she has gotten tired of the lies, and is writing a book in order to “disrupt the deception” that’s been going on. Furthermore, she posits that now is the time to “speak without fear” and take back control of her narrative. “No more forcing a smile to get through the pain of being me,” she writes. “No more forcing a smile to get thru [sic] the pain of being me.”

Andrea Kelly Uses Diddy Photos In Her Video Promo

Andrea Kelly goes a step further, though, and claims that Under the Red Carpet will shine a line on others in the industry as well. Kelly promises to free people who have been silenced up until now. At least, that’s what the caption says. “My book is going to set so many free,” she adds. “And if you have a problem, it’s not with me.” She then urges naysayers to take their issues up with God. The book will obviously detail Andrea Kelly’s relationship and subsequent divorce from R. Kelly. If we’re being frank, the singer will be the selling point of the book. The video suggests that Andrea Kelly may shed light on another disgraced mogul, however: Diddy.

The video includes several images and clips of Diddy, some in which he’s alongside R. Kelly. Given how Diddy has become the focus of the biggest entertainment scandal of 2024, it would make sense. Diddy and R. Kelly rose to fame around the same time in the 1990s, and R. Kelly was a frequent collaborator of Diddy’s protege, The Notorious B.I.G. Andrea Kelly doesn’t mention Diddy by name in her narration, but the inclusion of his image feels very intentional. It seems we will have to wait until the book comes out to learn if Diddy is mentioned.

Al B Sure Receives Warning From Author Of Allegedly Fake Kim Porter Memoir

Lately, a book marketed as a Kim Porter memoir has been making headlines for allegedly being fake. Diddy and Porter’s children released a statement about Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey For Justice, From the Other Side late last month. They indirectly accused the author, Todd Christopher Guzze, of spreading “false rumors” about their family. Al B Sure, Porter’s ex, also took to social media to allege that the book doesn’t portray him accurately.

He described the book as alleged “calculated fiction,” and even reportedly hit Guzze and Amazon with cease and desist letters over it last week. Now, it’s been removed from Amazon, and Guzze has sat down with The Art Of Dialogue to discuss the debacle. During the interview, he responded to Al B Sure and his cease and desist. He insisted the artist doesn’t know what information he was allegedly able to gather from a flash drive allegedly obtained by sources “very close to Kim and Sean Combs.”

Todd Christopher Guzze Tells Al B Sure To “Be Careful”

“Al doesn’t have the flash drive,” he explained. “So how would he know? How does he know what Kim wrote?” Guzze went on to warn Al B Sure not to “lock horns” with him, as he’s already wrapped up in another lawsuit. “Be careful,” he said. “Look me up. Look at my other lawsuit, 40 million in Miami. Go look at what I’m doing over there.” Reportedly, the book alleges that Al B Sure had a sexual relationship with Diddy, which he denies.

Kim Porter’s Alleged Memoir Author Breaks Silence As Amazon Removes The Book

Chris Todd, the author of the controversial new book, Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice From the Other Side, has spoken out for a new interview with The Art of Dialogue. He’s been receiving backlash for framing the 59-page book as an alleged “memoir” of Kim Porter’s. It contains various passages allegedly written by Porter detailing allegations of abuse against her partner, Diddy. Porter and Diddy’s children have already come out to condemn Kim’s Lost Words and label it fictitious.

“I can’t reveal everything at once,” Todd alleged in the interview. “It’s too shocking. If I was released those tapes, the world would shut down. If I showed one of these tapes, I’m telling you right now, the whole music industry and Hollywood, it would just grind down. They’re all going to start pointing at each other and it’s going to be bad.”

Kim Porter’s Alleged “Memoir” Pulled Off Amazon Amid Dispute With Diddy’s Kids

Amazon has taken down the alleged memoir of Kim Porter, KIM’S LOST WORDS: A journey for justice, from the other side…, over allegations that the entire 59-page book is fiction. “We were made aware of a dispute regarding this title and have notified the publisher,” an Amazon spokesperson told The New York Post. “The book is not currently available for sale in our store.” The book detailed Porter’s ex, Diddy, and his alleged abuse during their relationship from 1994 until 2007.

After its publication, Porter and Diddy’s children put out a statement denying the authenticity of the book. “Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not. And anyone claiming to have a manuscript is mispresenting themselves,” they wrote. Regardless of the truth, KIM’S LOST WORDS quickly landed on the Best Sellers list on Amazon.

Diddy Hosts Kim Porter’s Birthday Party

The book’s takedown comes after authorities arrested Diddy in New York City on alleged charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He’s already pleaded not guilty to the alleged crimes and plans to argue his case in court. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, told TMZ in a recent interview that he doesn’t expect his client to take a plea deal. “I don’t see it happening… because he believes he’s innocent,” he said. “He believes he’s innocent and what’s more, he believes that he needs to stand up not just for himself, for his family and for everybody who has been targeted by the federal government.”

Eve has been making hits for decades. The first lady of Ruff Ryders has rubbed shoulders with some of the biggest and brightest that hip hop has had to offer. Her path to superstardom was not easy, though. The rapper detailed her music industry experience in her new memoir, Who’s That Girl?. One of the most harrowing incidents divulged in the book occurred at the 2007 MTV Awards afterparty. Eve claimed that her drink was spiked, and were it not for Janet Jackson, things could have gone bad.

Eve claims she became hysterical when she attended the aforementioned afterparty. She suspected that something had been slipped into her drink when she wasn’t looking. Fortunately, Janet Jackson showed up to save the day. “Missy came in to check on me, but I was just unable to collect myself,” Eve recalled. “Then who walks in, Janet Jackson.” The rapper noted that she had never met Miss Jackson prior to this MTV encounter. Despite this, Jackson sprung to her aid. “She just sprang into action and told people to get aspirin, water, hot sauce, and a piece of white bread,” Eve wrote. “That concoction knocked me right out of my hysteria.”

Eve Believes Her Drink Was Spiked At The 2007 Party

Eve has maintained a reverence for Jackson ever since the afterparty incident. “Basically Janet Jackson saved my life,” she asserted. This is not the first time the Ruff Ryders icon has discussed this experience. She talked about her lone Janet Jackson encounter during a 2018 appearance on CBS’ The Talk. There were even more details shared, in fact, when Eve opened up to hosts Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert and Sheryl Underwood. The rapper claimed she was taken to a bedroom where she began to cry. She also noted that Jackson put her at ease by telling her not to stress. “And she’s like, ‘I got this, don’t worry, relax, calm down,’” Eve explained.

There are several other notable stories littered throughout Eve’s memoir. Many, thankfully, are more positive and uplifting than her MTV afterparty experience. The rapper recalls working with Dr. Dre and Gwen Stefani on her smash single “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” in 2001. She also detailed the struggles she was forced to overcome as a female rapper in a predominantly male field. Given that she was the third female rapper to ever top the Billboard 200, we’d say she figured it out.

Nicki Minaj shared a lengthy tribute to Eve on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, after the iconic rapper discussed their relationship candidly in her new memoir, Who’s That Girl. Eve had revealed that she gained a newfound respect for Minaj while the two collaborated on Barbershop: The Next Cut. In response, Minaj labeled the revelations from her memoir, “groundbreaking.”

She wrote: “The level of grace; the level of emotional & spiritual maturity it takes to be this vulnerable & transparent is a sign of TRUE peace, happiness, fulfillment, & mastery of self. Self reflection @ its height. I always say that I think accountability is the sexiest trait a person can have.” From there, she reflected on being a fan of Eve’s work since she was a young kid in New York City.

Minaj also admitted she was “so nervous” working with Eve on Barbershop: The Next Cut and thought that the iconic rapper didn’t like her. “I was so nervous coming onto that movie set every day,” she recalled. “You looked like a pro & I admired that so much. Eve says that she expected to resent Nicki Minaj after she was cast alongside her in the film, Barbershop: The Next Cut, in 2016. Reflecting on the experience in her new memoir, Who’s That Girl, Eve explained that she ended up gaining “respect” for the Pink Friday 2 rapper.

“I’ve lived through what happens when women project their own insecurities onto other women,” Eve said, as caught by The Neighborhood Talk. “It happened at the start of my career and continued in waves as my fame grew. I wasn’t going to be that woman to someone else, but in order to do that, I had to physically and mentally prepare myself … Nicki and I were actually fine on set. We got along well and shot our 1scenes together with no problems. It was nothing like what I had expected, but again, I am thankful that I prepared myself for it.”

Kim Porter’s Alleged Tell-All Memoir Now An Amazon Bestseller Following Diddy’s Arrest

Yesterday, Diddy’s late wife and mother to three of his kids, Kim Porter, started to trend online. It centers around her alleged diary entries about her chaotic and abusive relationship with the mogul. Titled Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice from the Other Side…, it was released to the public on September 6 just 10 days prior to his arrest in Manhattan. Throughout the 60-page tell-all memoir, there are tons of twisted and uncomfortable accounts from their on-and-off relationship.

According to Daily Mail, they include Diddy allegedly having sex with “young boys” that he was managing at the time, death threats toward Kim, orgies with multiple stars, and more. Some of them have been reported and others have been denied the supposed participants, such as the ones of the latter allegation. The contents of these supposedly true stories are extremely disturbing, so we won’t haunt with any further details than that. Kim’s Lost Words was released by Los Angeles producer Chris Todd, but under a different alias known as Jamal T. Millwood.

Co-Author Chris Todd Speaks On Releasing This Alleged Kim Porter Memoir

He doesn’t exactly full proof that all of these allegations are true, but he felt more comfortable coming out and talking about the memoir now that Diddy is arrested. “This is a dangerous situation, and I didn’t want to claim ownership of Kim’s words. But now I’m willing to come forward because of the recent arrest of Sean Combs. Now [that] the federal government has finally acted, I feel safer to come forward”. Despite the uncertainty to all of these claims, the tell-all piece is now an Amazon best-seller, according to Billboard. It currently holds the top spot in the Western U.S. Biographies category, as well in overall books sales.
