Lil Nas X Stretched on Cross on Artwork for New Single 'J Christ'

Lil Nas X is definitely going to get the Internet talking with this one. Hitting social media, Lil Nas X has announced his new single “J Christ.” The album’s cover art features Lil Nas X stretched on a cross like Jesus.

“MY NEW SINGLE IS DEDICATED TO THE MAN WHO HAD THE GREATEST COMEBACK OF ALL TIME!”

– Lil Nas X

Lil Nas X grabbed the ears of the Christian community when he revealed that he was heading into his Christian era. Hitting Twitter, Lil Nas posed the question “y’all mind if i enter my christian era?”

Ever the troll, Lil Nas X then wrote: “making christian music does not mean i can’t suck dick no more. the two are not mutually exclusive. i am allowed to get on my knees for multiple reasons.”

Hearing the news, the artist formally known as Boonk Gang, now known as “Holy Gabbana” shunned the idea. “Don’t title a Christian and make others believe it’s ok for us to live in habitual/intentional sin.”

And Lil Nas X had time, writing, “it’s really insane how yall pretend some of our pastors aren’t getting piped down before the sunday service. yall do not know jesus personally stop trying to gatekeep him”

Lil Nas X Says He is Ready to Enter His Christian Era

Lil Nas X is getting ready to enter his “Christian Era.” Hitting Twitter, Lil Nas posed the question “y’all mind if i enter my christian era?”

In July, Lil Nas X performed at European Lollapalooza in Sweden and it was anything but Christian. While on stage, someone through a vagina-type sex toy at him, which landed by his feet. Of course, Lil Nas X acknowledged the moment.

“Who threw they p***y onstage?!” Lil Nas X asked. No one was injured, and the show continued. You can see the moment below.

SZA Attends Doja Cat Tour Show As She’s Confirmed To Headline Numerous Lollapalooza Fests

SZA has been on her SOS tour for much of this year. She’s made headlines numerous times for artists she’s had on stage with her and those that have attended. But now she’s found the time to pop up at somebody else’s show, Doja Cat. The pair have worked together before, teaming up for the 2021 hit “Kiss Me More.” Doja’s Scarlet tour took off late last month and sees her and opening act Doechii playing some of their biggest hits and fan favorites. Check out the videos of SZA dancing at the concert below.

SZA herself isn’t done playing big shows either. Lollapalooza just announced a number of the headliners for their international festivals and her name popped up multiple times. She will be playing Lollapalooza festivals in Brasil, Argentina, and Chile next year. Alongside the R&B hitmaker other artists like Blink-182, Sam Smith, and Paramore were also tapped as headliners. South American fans who haven’t gotten the chance to see SZA perform yet will get the chance next year.

SZA Dances To Doja Cat Show

SZA’s massive 2023 has continued to generate critical attention for her. Just this week Variety named her their 2023 Hitmaker of the year. She was the first artist to appear at the number one spot on the Hot 100 twice this year. The first time she did so with “Kill Bill” the week she dropped a remix of the track with Doja Cat. The second time was her Drake collaboration “Slime You Out” which debuted at the number one spot.

She’s also developed quite a strong friendship with Sexyy Red. The pair both appear on another song from Drake’s new album called “Rich Baby Daddy.” They’ve linked up to perform the song together live multiple times. Subsequently, SZA was even a part of Sexyy Red’s pregnancy announcement with a pic of the pair together making its way to Instagram. Lollapalooza Brasil’s 2024 iteration will take place from March 22 to 24 at Autódromo de Interlagos in São Paulo. Billie Eilish Honors Angus Cloud During Lollapalooza Set

Billie Eilish paid tribute to Angus Cloud during her Lollapalooza set, last week, just days after the Euphoria star’s tragic passing. While reflecting on the 25-year-old’s death, Eilish instructed the audience to be grateful for those around them.

“R.I.P. Angus Cloud, everybody,” Eilish told the crowd. “Tell somebody next to you you’re grateful for them,” she added. “I want us all to be grateful and aware of what we have.” Eilish also performed her and Labrinth’s song, “Never Felt So Alone,” which was featured on the soundtrack to Euphoria’s second season.

Cloud passed away at his family’s house in Oakland, California, on July 31. His family confirmed his death in a statement, noting that he buried his late father the week before. Eilish is far from the first celebrity to speak out on Cloud’s passing. Several of his Euphoria co-stars have already shared tributes on social media. Maude Apatow wrote on Instagram: “Angus was the funniest person ever. I would get so excited to see on the schedule that we would be working together because I knew we’d have the best day, laughing so hard. He was the sweetest and made everyone around him so happy. He was just the best. Words can’t really capture how magical of a person he was. My heart is broken.”

Zendaya also reflected on her friendship with Cloud. “Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor). I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it),” she said in her post. “I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love… ‘they could light up any room they entered’ but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us. I’ll cherish every moment.”
