Lil Uzi Vert Addresses Nitrous Addiction Allegations On New Song

Lil Uzi Vert is an enigmatic figure. They bring authenticity and emotional nakedness to their music, but at the same time, they remain hazy about the details. Lil Uzi Vert is a character at the end of the day, as the rollout for his new album can attest. Eternal Atake 2 poses the rapper as this extraterrestrial being with a wiped memory and a mysterious mission. One can be forgiven for getting caught up in the showmanship and forgetting that Uzi has dealt with personal struggles behind the scenes. The most unexpected part of his new album deals with these struggles, in fact.

Lil Uzi Vert kicks off Eternal Atake 2 with the epic song “We Good.” It’s as spacious and aggressive as fans have come to hope for from an Uzi intro. It does an excellent job of setting the table for the major themes of the album, but one line stood out from the rest. The rapper decided to break his silence on the allegations that they were addicted to nitrous. “They said I was lost,” they rapped. “They thought I was a dead dead guy, I was on the NOS.” NOS is a slang term for nitrous, and the line seemingly confirms what many fans feared.

Lil Uzi Vert Seemingly Admits To Inhaling Gas

A video of Lil Uzi Vert seemingly inhaling a balloon filled with nitrous went viral in August. The rapper was in the studio when he allegedly consumed the gas, and can be seen giggling afterwards. Uzi fans voiced their concern, and their desire to see the rapper clean up his act. The video of Uzi released shortly after Kanye West was accused of having a nitrous addiction of his own. A dangerous pattern seemed to have emerged, but neither artist have addressed the allegations outright. Until now, of course. Lil Uzi Vert has admitted to having substance abuse issues with the gas, and his word choice suggests it is no longer an issue.

The rollout for Eternal Atake 2 has also suggested a creatively refocused Lil Uzi Vert. The rapper put together an incredible rollout in the week’s leading up to the album’s release. Everything seemed very intentional, from the promos to the teaser songs to the imagery. Uzi is back on track, and if we are to take him at his word, then we could easily ascertain that kicking a dangerous habit has directly had an impact on this focus. We’re glad to have Uzi back.

Lil Uzi Vert Meets An Out-Of-This World ‘Chill Bae’ In The Sci-Fi Video From ‘Eternal Atake 2’

Lil Uzi Vert announced that they are preparing to release Eternal Atake 2, the follow-up to their fan-favorite 2020 album Eternal Atake, a week ago, and tonight, they’ve released the album alongside the official single, “Chill Bae.” In the video, Uzi awakes in a white bed, surrounded by purple-skinned women. Discovering that he’s a prisoner on an alien planet, he’s forced to participate in experiments and perform for the entertainment of a stadium full of these purple women. Eventually, he manages to escape in a flying saucer, but eventually returns to his adoring fans.

The new album features a return to the rapid-fire rapping from the first Eternal Atake album, (and its deluxe version, Luv Vs. The World 2), and a pivot away from the more experimental material on Uzi’s most recent project Pink Tape. Before dropping the album, Uzi shared a teaser clip, “Uzi The Earthling! (TV Show Theme),” a 30-second track modeled after a retro TV theme song and presaging the sci-fi aesthetics for the album’s theming — a continuation of the Alien abduction theme from the first album.

Lil Uzi Vert Soars With Eclectic New Album “Eternal Atake 2”

Hats off to Lil Uzi Vert. The rapper has managed to orchestrate a stellar rollout for his new album Eternal Atake 2 in the span of a couple weeks. He dropped inventive promo videos and a teaser song that served as a theme to the “Uzi the Earthling.” The theme isn’t on the album, but now that we have Eternal Atake 2 it’s understandable. Lil Uzi Vert’s latest is a fascinating mashup and styles and sounds from the different album cycles. It’s not a culmination, per say, but it feels like it takes the Eternal Atake sound and applies elements of PINK TAPE for something wholly unique.

“We Good” kicks things off with a bold, cinematic sound, before transitioning to the more aggressive sounds “Light Year (Practice).” Lil Uzi Vert handles most of the songs on the album himself, which feels like an especially bold choice in a hip hop landscape predicated on extensive features. “Not An Option” is a wonky banger with an earworm beat, while “Black Hole” leans into the extraterrestrial aesthetic laid out by the artwork. The biggest surprise in the tracklist, though, is Lil Uzi Vert’s collaboration with Big Time Rush, “The Rush.” It shouldn’t work, and it wouldn’t work with most rapper, but Uzi has the eclectic mix and the ambition to pull it off. Another Uzi Vert success.

Lil Uzi Vert Threatened With Legal Action By Surviving Heaven’s Gate Members

Lil Uzi Vert has had the internet in a chokehold over the last two weeks. The rapper had fans feening for new music, and they have delivered an efficient and memorable rollout in record time. Uzi has dropped a trailer, a release date, and promos involving UFOs. Eternal Atake 2 is going to be the music event of the year for Lil Uzi Vert fans. Unfortunately, the surviving members of Heaven’s Gate feel differently. They’ve threatened the rapper with legal action due to the similarities between the Heaven’s Gate logo and the album artwork.

In a recent Complex interview, the two surviving Heaven’s Gate members stated that they will not allow Lil Uzi Vert to riff on their logo. “Stay away from our Intellectual Property,” they asserted. Give the Group some respect.” They also alluded to the rollout for the first Eternal Atake, which led to a similar threat of legal action. “Don’t try to offer to buy us off, like last time,” the surviving members warned. “We do not want your money, no matter how much it is.” The members were asked by Complex if they’d ever heard of Lil Uzi Vert’s music. Their response made it clear that they had no interest in what the rapper had to say.

Lil Uzi Vert Ran Into Similar Issues With Eternal Atake

“We have not listened to Vert’s music,” the Heaven’s Gate members explained. “Living in this world is hard enough as it is, and we do not need the brain damage involved in listening to his works.” They also claimed to have forced Lil Uzi Vert to make changes to the first Eternal Atake. “We took action and [then] forced him to make changes in the product,” the duo claimed. They detailed the process that went into the last legal interaction with Uzi in 2022. This process included hiring a music entertainment lawyer to handle logos, trademark, and copyright infringement.

The Heaven’s Gate members allege that Lil Uzi Vert “stepped over the line” in one particular instance. “[Uzi] still stepped over the line in one circumstance but we got him to give up thinking he could use our IP to push his idea of him being a divine leader,” they noted. “Motivating his followers to leave the planet. We will see if he takes it too far this time.” Uzi has really played up the imagery and theme of the sequel album thus far, so it’ll be interesting to see if they indeed take it “too far.”

Lil Uzi Vert Officially Announces ‘Eternal Atake 2’ With A Cinematic Sci-Fi Teaser Video

Lil Uzi Vert came through with a surprise yesterday (October 23) when they shared “Uzi The Earthling! (TV Show Theme),” a 30-second track modeled after a retro TV theme song. The single’s cover art seemed to suggest Uzi was teasing a follow-up to their 2020 album Eternal Atake, and indeed, that’s what’s happening: Today, Uzi officially announced Eternal Atake 2.

Uzi started by sharing the cover art on social media, along with a pre-save link. They then shared a sci-fi teaser video, which reveals that Uzi mysteriously vanished years ago. Then, we see a spaceship landing, with Uzi inside, who then undergoes some memory modifications before regaining consciousness.

The video says the album is “coming soon,” while album pages on streaming platforms indicate the project is set for release on November 1.

Notably, this comes after Uzi teased retirement in 2023, saying, “I was gonna wait ’til later to say it, but, you know, I’m dropping Luv Is Rage 3. And Luv Is Rage 3 will be my last album. […] After Luv Is Rage 3, I guess I will go on another tour. But after that, I wanna try to live a normal life.”

Lil Uzi Vert Drops “Eternal Atake 2” Artwork And Mysterious Album Trailer

Lil Uzi Vert’s new era is officially here. The rapper has hinted at something major around the corner, but the most optimistic fans could not have guessed we’d get information so soon. Uzi was seen filming a music video last week, and since then, we’ve gotten a teaser track and a logo that subtly appears on the artwork for all of Uzi’s streaming releases. They were obviously gearing up for something major, and on Thursday, we found out what. Lil Uzi Vert confirmed Eternal Atake 2 is coming, and they even released the artwork, along with a trailer.

The first sign that something was up was on Instagram. Lil Uzi Vert was active on the account for the first time in months. They even changed the link in the bio to read: “ALL WHITE ALL WHITE ALL WHITE.” The same phenomenon occurred on Twitter, which is a platform Uzi had been absent from for even longer. It build up hype to previously unforeseen heights, and then it culminated with Lil Uzi Vert’s post. The iconic emcee dropped the Eternal Atake 2 artwork. The artwork shares a purple color scheme with the original Eternal Atake, but it has a more ominous look. People with glowing eyes can be seen looking in different directions. A mysterious key floats in the middle of the frame.

The Eternal Atake logo, meanwhile, which evokes the infamous Heaven’s Gate cult, can be spotted in the left corner. Lil Uzi Vert has always leaned into extra-terrestrial imagery, especially when it came the first Eternal Atake, but they are really playing it for this rollout. The “ALL WHITE” description in the bio evokes the white sneakers that the Heaven’s Gate cult wore. Then there’s the white in the artwork for the teaser single, “Uzi the Earthling.” The single, which dropped a day before the official album announcement, is only 30 seconds in length. It does, however, fall right in line with the space age vibe.

In case all that wasn’t enough, Lil Uzi Vert blessed fans with an album trailer. The trailer is a minute in length, and provides some fascinating context for the album’s concept. The trailer claims that Uvi went missing on March 6, 2020, before revealing a purple-hued spaceship. We’re then guided on to the ship, where scientists appear to be wiping the rapper’s memory. Once the process is completed, Uzi is woken up and seemingly returned to Earth. We are in for one hell of a musical experience.

Lil Uzi Vert Just Dropped A New Song And It’s… A ’50s-Style TV Theme Song

Lil Uzi Vert is up to something: Today (October 23), they shared a peculiar new song, “Uzi The Earthling! (TV Show Theme).”

The 30-second track is in the style of a 1950s TV show theme song, sung in a retro-style female voice. These are the lyrics:

“Here’s the story of a guy named Uzi
Who’s known for his diamonds and his style
From the streets to the stage, boy is busy
Making music that’ll make you smile
Little Uzi Vert, he’s the one to see
Bringing joy to you and me
Little Uzi Vert, he’s the one to see.”

It’s not exactly clear what’s going on with this song, but based on the single art’s similarity to the original cover of Uzi’s 2020 album Eternal Atake, it appears “Uzi The Earthling” could be the first taste of an Eternal Atake sequel.

Uzi has also been teasing Luv Is Rage 3 for a while now. In 2023, Uzi suggested the project would be their final one, saying, “I was gonna wait ’til later to say it, but, you know, I’m dropping Luv Is Rage 3. And Luv Is Rage 3 will be my last album. […] After Luv Is Rage 3, I guess I will go on another tour. But after that, I wanna try to live a normal life.”

Lil Uzi Vert Kicks Off New Era With “Uzi The Earthling! (The TV Theme)”

Lil Uzi Vert has one of the most fervent fanbases in hip hop. Their constant experimentation, and willingness to try different sounds, has resulted in widespread anticipation for what they will do next. Well, the first teaser of Lil Uzi Vert’s new era is here, and it’s now what you expect. We’re not kidding. The rapper is nowhere to be heard on the song “Uzi the Earthling! (The TV Theme).” The song itself is only thirty seconds, and features no rapping of any kind.

Instead, “Uzi the Earthling!” serves as a theme song introduction to a fictional show. Lil Uzi Vert has decided to really set the tone for what’s to come by dropping a jingle that sounds ripped out of the 1960s. A woman sings about the titular earthling, and how they bring joy to everyone they see. It’s something no other rapper has attempted. It’s the sort of thing a rapper would typically sample, or incorporate as a sample, but Uzi plays it straight here. A bold choice, and one that has us extremely excited for the album to come.

Let us know what you think of this brand-new track, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists and their upcoming projects.

Ebro Reignites Lil Uzi Vert Feud By Claiming They Aren’t A “Rockstar”

Ebro and Lil Uzi Vert do not see eye to eye. They are the Hot 97 version of Joe Budden and Lil Yachty. Ebro represents the traditional approach to hip hop and genre stardom. Uzi Vert, on the other hand, has expanded the parameters and the sound of hip hop. Ebro famously claimed that the rapper would not be able to find longevity in 2016. Flash forward nearly a decade later, and Uzi Vert is still a relevant presence in the genre. According to Ebro, though, they aren’t relevant enough to be given their flowers.

Ebro was asked about his opinion on Lil Uzi Vert during a recent panel discussion. He claimed that he loved the artist overall, but felt they hadn’t delivered on the promise they initially showed. Ironic, given that Ebro had criticisms when they initially started, but we digress. “I feel like, he still hasn’t become the rockstar he said he would become,” Ebro noted. “We’re still waiting.” The bluntness of the response led to laughter amidst those in the crowd. The Hot 97 veteran decided to expand upon his assertions. “The rockstars I know were selling out Met Life stadium,” he said. “They can sell out Madison Square Garden 8-10 times. They got hits on the radio.”

Ebro Believes Lil Uzi Vert Has Underachieved

Ebro drew a similarly sheepish response despite his valid claims. He then harkened back to the claims he made about Lil Uzi Vert back in 2016. He recalled the backlash he got from young fans regarding what he said about the rapper. His ultimate takeaway? Uzi hasn’t delivered. “Like I said before, time will tell,” Ebro said. “Where you at, my guy? Uzi, where you at bro?” The questions became more taunting as the host’s questions wore on. Audience members can be heard laughing and voicing surprise over how brutal Ebro is being about Uzi’s career.

The most fascinating element of the whole Ebro and Lil Uzi Vert situation is that the former has been very complimentive of the rapper at different points in their career. In 2022, Ebro actually defended Uzi Vert in the wake of the backlash to his Eternal Atake album. He claimed the rapper had proven their worth when the album managed to chart three singles on the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 at the same time. “We starting brand new with you,” Ebro said on Hot 97. Apparently, he reverted back to his original stance.

JT’s Fans Claim She Disrespected Lil Uzi Vert On National Boyfriend’s Day

JT and Lil Uzi Vert have been dating since 2019. They are one of the longest lasting relationships in hip hop, excluding the marriages. Which is why fans were both surprised and disappointed that JT failed to post anybody on October 3. For context, October 3 is National Boyfriend’s Day. The rapper was called out online for what was perceived as a disrespectful move. The backlash grew so strong, in fact, that JT decided to hop on Instagram Live in an attempt to clear things up.

JT claimed that she wasn’t in a good headspace on National Boyfriend’s Day. “I was PMS’ing,” she said. “I was mean… like so b*tchy to my man.” The former City Girls rapper went on to reveal that she did have a post for Lil Uzi Vert planned. “I’m gonna make a post about my man on Instagram,” she claimed. “I was just like, looking for a song to use. I put ‘Cater 2 U,’ and then I put Keyshia Cole, ‘Trust.’” The Uzi Vert post never saw the light of day, however. JT didn’t have a reason why. “I don’t even know why I never got to post it,” she admitted. JT proceeded to delve into her own insecurities around sharing her life with the fans. She explained that she has a hard time opening up about her life, despite being “proud” of who she is with.

JT Claims She Forgot To Post About Lil Uzi Vert

“I’m just not that girl, and I want to become that girl,” the rapper claimed. “I wanna start being more posty, and letting y’all know… I got a man, I love my man. And I love my life.” JT’s told fans that her big reason for being reluctant is that she believes people would want to see her sad if she posted about how happy she was all the time. “I am a happy person,” she confirmed. “I have a great f*cking life… should show y’all more.” JT’s timing could not have been worse, in terms of public perception. The last time Lil Uzi Vert spoke on their girlfriend publicly, they went viral for all the right reasons.

Lil Uzi Vert gave a street interview on August 3. The woman interviewing Uzi attempted to get their phone number, but the rapper refused. “I got a girlfriend,” they explained. “[I’m] dating JT right now.” When pressed further on the matter, Lil Uzi Vert doubled down and made an even bolder statement. “[I’m] dating JT forever.” The woman jokingly noted that Uzi’s comments ruined their interview, but the clip quickly went viral on TikTok. Many fans championed Lil Uzi Vert for being loyal to JT and for being proud of their relationship in a public space.
