42 Dugg And Lil Durk Pay Their Respects In A Flashy Video For ‘Free Ric’
At the end of August, Detroit native 42 Dugg shared the deluxe version of Free Dem Boyz, which he released earlier this year. Seven more songs were added to the record, with new features from Nardo Wick, Moneybagg Yo, and more. Lil Durk can also be found on the deluxe thanks to his appearance on “Free Ric.” Now, less than two months after the song’s release, Dugg calls on Durk to appear in a flashy video for the track, which finds the rappers showing off their large sums of money and expensive jewelry while delivering boastful raps as their respective crews stand behind them.
Free Dem Boyz, which also features Fivio Foreign, Roddy Ricch, EST Gee, Rylo Rodriguez, and Future, became Dugg’s high-charting album after it debuted at No. 8. The new video comes after Dugg shared ones for “Bestfriends,” Rose Gold,” “Turnest N**** In The City,” “Maybach,” and more.
As for Lil Durk, he just released his single “Pissed Me Off,” which comes as a response to unfortunate incidents that recently occurred in his life. He’s also going back to school to get his high school diploma.

Lil Durk Addresses The Dark Moments In His Life On The Vengeful ‘Pissed Me Off’
Following a 2020 year that proved to be monumental of the Chicago rapper, Lil Durk put his head down and kept things pushing into and throughout 2021. At the top of the year, he shared the deluxe version of his late-2020 project, The Voice. He later teamed up with Lil Baby for Voice Of The Heroes, a project that gave him his first chart-topping release. After a string of guest features, Durk returns to the solo route with “Pissed Me Off.” The new song is quite the vengeful effort as it finds the Chicago native speaking about the recent deaths of King Von and his brother DThang.
He also raps about the Atlanta home invasion that he and his girlfriend India Cox were victims of back in July. Durk and Cox were allegedly forced to exchange gunfire with the intruders, but luckily both escaped the situation without any injuries. Atlanta police officers listed the couple as victims in the police report for the shooting.
“Pissed Me Off” comes after Durk joined G Herbo and 21 Savage for a remix of Nardo Wick’s “Who Want Smoke??” Durk also collaborated with FaZe Kaysan on “Made A Way” as well as HER and Lil Baby for a remix of “Find A Way.” Furthermore, the Chicago native can be spotted in recent videos for EST Gee’s “In Town” and Rod Wave’s “Already Won.”

Lil Durk Is Going Back To School To Get His High School Diploma
Just days short of his 29th birthday, Lil Durk is quite the accomplished young man. In the 11th year of his rap career, he’s bigger than ever, thanks in part to Drake putting him on the 2020 single “Laugh Now, Cry Later.” After years of being a cult favorite, Durk has spent the months since Drake’s co-sign enjoying his status as one of rap’s go-to feature artists, lending his voice to breakout singles from Pooh Shiesty and Coi Leray, teaming up with Lil Baby for a joint album, and elevating singles from a slew both established stars and up-and-comers.
But there’s one thing he has yet to do that he’s now setting his sights on accomplishing: Finishing high school and earning his diploma. In an effort to challenge himself and expand his worldview, he announced his intention on Twitter. “I’m going to get my high school diploma,” he wrote. “I want to challenge myself on my goals and real life situations.”

— THE VOICE (@lildurk) October 14, 2021
His admirable intentions drew a varied response from fans, some of whom were supportive of his decisions while others ridiculed him for going back to school at the age of 28. But there’s nothing wrong with continuing your education, and it’s never too late to pursue any goal — especially one aimed at bettering yourself and setting a good example. I salute Durk’s decision and look forward to posting about his graduation, just like with Quavo last year.
Nardo Wick Invities G Herbo, 21 Savage, And Lil Durk For A Remix Of ‘Who Want Smoke??’
Straight out of Jacksonville, Florida, Nardo Wick has certainly earned his breakout moment in 2021. The rapper’s brash and confrontational winter 2021 single “Who Wants Smoke?” delivered a brighter spotlight to the young spitter, and since then, he’s done nothing but work to improve his stock in the game. That hustle has proved beneficial and he now returns with a remix of the track with G Herbo, 21 Savage, and Lil Durk. It’s an effort Wick has been teasing for quite a while, and now, fans of the respective rappers can rejoice and dive into new verses from them thanks to the new song.
If Wick’s name looks familiar to you, it could be because of his appearance on the soundtrack for Judas And The Black Messiah. The rapper contributed “I Declare War” to the project in a move that surely helped to boost his popularity to hip-hop fans all over the world.
As for the rappers that joined him on the remix, the new version of “Who Want Smoke?” comes after G Herbo stood beside BIA for her “Besito” single. He also delivered a boastful video for “Stand The Rain (Mad Max).” 21 Savage recently stood beside Young Nudy for their “Child’s Play” video while Lil Durk was spotted in videos for FaZe Kaysan’s “Made A Way” and Rod Wave’s “Already Won.”

FaZe Kaysan Throws A Lavish House Party With Future And Lil Durk In Their ‘Made A Way’ Video
In the video for FaZe Kaysan’s debut single as a producer, plenty of FaZe Clan showed out to help support their newest member’s foray into music. After dropping the single, “Made A Way,” a few days ago — which Kaysan co-produced with Wondagurl — today the emerging producer has shared a video to accompany it. In the clip, Kaysan and Lil Durk start off driving around LA, before meeting up at a mansion in the Hollywood Hills for a multi-course feast. They link up with fellow FaZe members at the house, like FaZe Banks, FaZe Swagg, FaZe Temperrr, FaZe Rug, FaZe Adapt and FaZe Rain.
Later on, after plenty of clinking wine glasses and feasting, Future joins up for an evening and delivers his verse while a party slowly begins to build. Though the video doesn’t stray too far from the typical rap video script, we do get a few nods to Kaysan’s gaming background with shots of him at his computer, and the presence of his other Faze members. It sounds like this initial song is just the start for him, too, and he’s already performed live for the first time as an opener for Jack Harlow at the FaZe Clan Summer Tip Off in Las Vegas this summer.
Check out the clip above and keep an eye out for more from Kaysan coming soon.
