LeBron James Reportedly Wants To Retire With The Lakers

LeBron James is easily a top-two player in the history of the NBA. With multiple MVP trophies, four NBA titles, and a potential all-time scoring title, there is no doubt that Bron belongs on the league’s Mount Rushmore. Even the old heads have to agree at this point.

Having said all of that, LeBron has been going through some tough times with the Los Angeles Lakers. Consequently, there have been all sorts of rumors pertaining to a potential trade. However, at numerous points, LeBron has said he is all-in with the team.

The Future Of LeBron James

According to a new report from Zach Lowe on his ESPN podcast, LeBron is very much committed to staying in LA. Essentially, there is a chance he could become resentful of the front office, although, for the most part, he has always wanted to finish his career as a Laker. Lakers fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

“I keep hearing he wants to stay with the Lakers,” Lowe said. “He wants to finish his career with the Lakers. His comments though should be interpreted as his patience is not infinite and if this is just a continued morass of losing, maybe that changes. But if you force me to bet, I’d still bet on him finishing his career with the Lakers. And I’d feel pretty confident in that.”

Of course, this would mean the Lakers would need to draft or sign Bronny James Jr. LeBron James wants to play with his son, and he will go anywhere around the league to make that a reality.

LeBron James Could Be Traded To The Warriors, Says NBA Exec

LeBron James has been at the center of numerous rumors. With the Lakers struggling to become a true title contender, some believe that LeBron wants to be traded. Of course, this would be one of the biggest trades in the history of the league, and no one knows what it would even look like.

Overall, LeBron doesn’t seem to be feeling these rumors. He has stated that his allegiance to the Lakers, although who knows how long that will last? If the Lakers miss the playoffs again, it seems possible that James would request a move. Additionally, with just a few years left in the league, LeBron wants that fifth title.

LeBron James To The Warriors?

In a report from Sean Deveney of Heavy.com, an anonymous NBA executive made a wild assertion. Essentially, they believe there is a world in which James goes to the Warriors. However, it would take numerous pieces to make it happen. Regardless, the executive thinks the Warriors are the best option to make a trade happen.

“If there is a bidding war going on at some point [for LeBron], the Warriors are in a great position because they can give you the young guys – [James] Wiseman or [Jonathan] Kuminga or [Moses] Moody, or [Pat] Baldwin, whoever the Lakers want,” the exec said. “But you have to add either Poole or [Andrew] Wiggins, and that’s not easy. But if they want to win now, you can give up Poole if you are getting back LeBron, right? If they keep Draymond [Green] and come back with Steph [Curry], Klay Thompson, Draymond and LeBron, that would be a fun, fun team to watch.”

If LeBron ends up in Golden State, he will surely contend for that fifth title. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and LeBron would be an unreal combination. Although, it does seem pretty absurd to think about.

LeBron James Reportedly Has Teams Preparing For A Trade

LeBron James is a player who will go down as one of if not the greatest to ever do it. With his four NBA titles and countless accolades, LeBron is a truly special player. Additionally, he is on track to pass Kareem for the most points of all-time which is a mark that has yet to be broken since 1982.

Overall, James is someone who needs to be praised and appreciated while he is still here. We don’t have many years left of James’ greatness, and to waste that would be a true shame. Unfortunately, that is what seems to be happening with the Lakers as they have struggled this season.

Sure, the team is on a five-game winning streak. However, they do not have the firepower to contend for a title. There have been all sorts of rumors that James wants the team to be improved. While he himself has tried to separate himself from such reports, there still seems to be this sense that rival teams are preparing themselves.

LeBron On The Move?

In fact, according to Sean Deveney of Heavy.com, some GMs are even making preparations for the offseason. If LeBron were to request a trade, some teams need to be properly prepared. Overall, this would mean securing assets that the Lakers would be interested in. Consequently, it could even affect how teams go about drafting.

LeBron James Reacts To Bronny’s Insane Between-The-Legs Dunk

LeBron James has been having a great few weeks in the NBA. His Los Angeles Lakers are currently on a five-game winning streak and are gunning for a playoff spot. Additionally, he has been on a scoring tear that is bringing him closer to the all-time scoring record held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Overall, it is a great time to be LeBron. He still has a few things left to accomplish, including watching his son make the NBA. Bronny is currently playing for Sierra Canyon with his little brother Bryce. The two have been playing well, although Bronny is now blossoming into a full-blown star.

LeBron Shows Bronny Some Love

Throughout the Sierra Canyon season, Bronny has been showing us just how well he can dunk the basketball. It has been nothing short of impressive to watch. Not to mention, his talents are about to earn him a whole slew of college offers. Only time will tell which school he ultimately picks.

At this point, it is clear that Bronny is going to go very far in his basketball career. While living up to his father is impossible, he is still going to get people to watch.

Hopefully, LeBron is able to get his dream of playing with Bronny some day. That would be the cherry on top for his illustrious career.

LeBron James Clarifies Remarks On Potential Lakers’ Trade

LeBron James has clarified his recent comments on the Lakers’ reluctance to trade first-round picks to improve the roster. In a pair of tweets published on Sunday, James clarified that his “patience isn’t waning.”

“Y’all know what the fuck should be happening,” James told the Athletic’s Sam Amick, before adding, “I don’t need to talk.”

Amick later shared the quote on social media, describing James’ patience with the organization as “waning.” Afterward, James responded with a clarification of his quote.

“Hey Sam actually my patience isn’t waning,” he wrote back. “You make it sound like I’m frustrated when I’m really not. I told you over and over, my job is focused on the guys in the locker room, my job isn’t the roster.”

He further wrote: “That’s the reality of that conversation and I said what I said with the upmost respect and calmness cause that’s the mood I’m in! Your welcome! 5 game winning streak.”

The Lakers are currently 19-21 on the season, several spots out of playoff contention in the Western Conference.

Following a five-game losing streak in December, James hinted at his future with the team being unclear.

“I’m a winner and I want to win. I want to win and give myself a chance to win, and still compete for championships,” James said. “Playing basketball at this level just to be playing basketball is not in my DNA. It’s not in my DNA anymore. We’ll see what happens and see how fresh my mind stays over the next couple years.”

LeBron James Could Be Traded This Summer, Says NBA Insider

LeBron James just turned 38 years old today. At this point, everyone knows that he is approaching the end of his career. In fact, he even spoke about retirement this week. However, it is clear that James can still play at a high level and that he is motivated to do big things.

Unfortunately, the Lakers have not given him the roster he needs to compete. There have been calls for the Lakers to make a move, however, they don’t seem to have the faculties to do that right now. If anything, they will have to wait until the offseason.

According to a report from Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated, there is a scenario in which the Lakers would have to straight up trade LeBron James. Essentially, if they can’t secure free agents like Kyrie Irving or Draymond Green, then LeBron will have little reason to want to stay. Overall, it creates a bad situation for the Lakers.

LeBron James Trade?

Per Mannix:

“Let’s face it: LeBron James’s decision to extend his contract with the Lakers was a mistake. It was a mistake for James, who doesn’t need the guaranteed cash, pushing his deal through 2023–24 limited his leverage. It was also a mistake for L.A., which didn’t have the pieces to build a title contender around James and (this season, anyway) doesn’t have the flexibility to do anything with him.

“In an ideal world, the Lakers use the cap space created by Russell Westbrook’s exit next summer to sign Kyrie Irving or Draymond Green, flip a draft pick or two and vault back into contention next season. But if that doesn’t happen, can the Lakers really go into 2023 with James, Anthony Davis and whatever group of castoffs they can assemble around them? Would James want to? Dealing James would take some chutzpah, but if L.A. whiffs on big-ticket items next offseason, is there really a better choice?”

It seems unfathomable that LeBron would be traded. However, even Wayne Gretzky was traded. At the end of the day, everyone has their own interests and if LeBron and the Lakers don’t align, then they must part ways.
