Diddy’s Stepson, Quincy Brown, Discovers Sealed Letter From Kim Porter

Diddy’s stepson, Quincy Brown, shared a heartwarming tribute for Kim Porter on TikTok, on Sunday. In doing so, he revealed that he recently discovered a letter his mother wrote to him years before her death. Porter would’ve turned 54 on Sunday. She passed away at the age of 47 on November 15, 2018, after suffering from lobar pneumonia.

Quincy began by wishing his late mother a “happy, heavenly birthday.” From there, he explained: “I’ve been going back to Columbus lately and making sure the house down there is loved on. We’re in L.A., far away from Columbus, Georgia. I’ve been visiting a lot, everytime I go back I always find something. … On the latest episode of Quincy’s findings, through the history of my amazing life, I came across an envelope.”

Brown then explained that he opened up the letter. “I opened it, and I was blown away. It was my birthday, apparently, so on my Mom’s birthday I want to share this with y’all,” he said. “My Mom gave me my first ever dollar bill. The classic $10 bill. I haven’t seen one of these in ten years, but to see this from her saying, ‘I love you, Mommy.’ … I was three years old, I was looking for the toys! You better off putting this in a toy. But I think it was meant for me to see this 30 years later… I don’t know, it’s crazy to me. Happy birthday Mom, love you.”

The post comes as Brown’s stepfather, Diddy, remains behind bars while awaiting trial in his case regarding charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering. Ray J Scolds Wack 100 For Accusing Diddy Of Putting Out A Hit On Jackie Long Over Kim Porter

After sparking a lot of controversy for his incendiary commentary on Diddy, Ray J is trying to turn over a new leaf. But it’s going to be hard when he hops on live sessions with Wack 100, who is no stranger to wild claims and escalatory accusations. Moreover, Wack recently alleged on a call with Ray and a few others that Diddy allegedly tried to have Jackie Long killed for allegedly trying to get with Kim Porter, Sean Combs’ since-deceased partner. The singer was not happy with what the manager was saying, but the executive clarified that he was defending Long. It turns out that the actor was allegedly never with Porter, so Wack was just pointing out that he had to contact the Bad Boy mogul to diffuse the situation.

Beyond this Diddy, Jackie Long, and Kim Porter situation, Wack 100 also recently clarified another, albeit unrelated, gossip narrative. “Are you telling me, right now, that my brother, Busta Rhymes, is gay?,” he barked at Big Homie CC recently during an Instagram Live session. “I want you tell me that, and we gon’ deal with this. As for Ray J and the Diddy scandal, his remarks on the matter – on top of his other social media antics – have him feeling quite paranoid. He recently threatened to expose his enemies in a video posted to the Internet, one that caused a lot of fan concern and speculation over his mental health and possible drug use. Still, that whole situation remains quite unclear, especially as this new clip about Jackie Long and Kim Porter shows a more measured and respectful angle.

But Wack 100 and Ray J inadvertently opened up a conversation about Diddy and Kim Porter, whose memoir caused a stir recently. A lot of folks are defending the perspective presented in the book, whereas many others called into question its authenticity, ethics, and believability. Diddy Witness Defends Kim Porter Memoir In Nasty Response To Cease-And-Desist

A man selling a Kim Porter memoir allegedly based on her diary entries has fired back at her sons, Christian and Quincy. Earlier this week, the duo sent him a cease-and-desist. According to TMZ, Courtney Burgess has now hit the brothers with an unpleasant legal response with the help of his attorney, Ariel Mitchell. In it, they shut down Christian and Quincy’s allegations that Burgess is trying to profit off Porter’s success by selling the book and diss the late actress and model in the process.

They argue that Porter’s fame was a result of being Diddy’s “long time paramour,” and not her own hard work. Moreover, Burgess alleges that he has the copyright to the book. He alleges that Porter gave him the rights before she passed away in 2018.

Previously, it was reported that the Combs brothers claimed to have become the owners of Porter’s intellectual property rights following her death. This means her diary entries would allegedly belong to them. According to Mitchell, however, Burgess and Porter met through a mutual friend. During a phone call, Porter allegedly told Burgess that she’d send him a copy of her diary before sending it his way, which is how he alleges that he got the rights. Reportedly, Burgess’ phone contained the flash drive data used for the book and was seized by feds in NYC.

Diddy’s sons asked for an accounting of any and all money Burgess has made off of the Kim Porter memoir. Burgess called their cease-and-desist a “desperate ploy” allegedly crafted by Diddy in an attempt to extort money. He also alleges that this “pathetic attempt illustrates just how dire the financial situation is” for Diddy and his family.

Diddy’s Sons Demand Author Of Alleged Kim Porter Memoir To Shut Down Sales

For the past couple of months, Diddy’s children have been extremely upset with the alleged memoir of their late mother, Kim Porter. The book, released by Chris Todd, aka “Jamal T. Millwood,” had the internet talking for a hot minute about its salacious, disturbing, and deeply personal material. It became an Amazon Best Seller fairly quickly despite the fact that none of the stuff in the paperback is confirmed to be true. Diddy’s kids made sure to spread that message in a past statement.

“Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not. And anyone claiming to have a manuscript is mispresenting themselves.” Amazon did pull the “memoir” from their digital shelves early last month, but there’s still more work to be done. According to TMZ, Quincy and Christian Combs are threatening Courtney Burgess and his attorney, Ariel Mitchell, with potential legal action.

They sent out a cease-and-desist letter to these two because of Burgess’ heavy promotion of the alleged memoir. He was claiming that the entire book was unedited copy of Porter’s diary. Furthermore, he says he has a flash drive from people close to her with proof. Quincy and Christian are saying that flash drive is “patently false,” however.

However, if he doesn’t comply with the Combs’, then a lawsuit is coming his way. To be exact, Burgess has five days to stop selling the book, stop doing interviews, and to hand over any possessions of Kim’s that he claims to have. They might have some solid standing because the boys claim to be the heirs to Kim’s intellectual property rights after her death. The feds currently have Burgess’ phone which he says has a copy of the flash drive data for the memoir. It will be an interesting five days for sure.

King shared some clips of the two of them together plus some sweet pictures in addition to a heartfelt and heart-breaking caption. Even though the Combs family faces a lot of uphill battles, tough conversations, and intense media scrutiny these days, they recognize the importance of maintaining a united family in remembrance of those they’ve lost.

Meanwhile, King Combs’ tribute to Kim Porter comes amid federal prosecutors’ accusations that Diddy is trying to manipulate witnesses and jurors in his case. Allegedly, he’s called his family members to organize a positive social media campaign for his birthday and to reach out to alleged victims and potential witnesses to sway the trial in his favor. Of course, these are all just allegations at the end of the day that everyone should take with a grain of salt until the trial develops further.

Quincy Brown’s relationship with his biological father has been well-documented. The actor and singer has spent most of his life with Diddy as his father figure, which has been maintained in light of the recent accusations leveled at the mogul. Quincy Brown posted a throwback photo on November 15. The actor can be seen next to his mother, Kim Porter, while sitting in a toy car. “I miss you every day,” he wrote next to a heart emoji. The sincerity of the post checks out, especially with regards to Porter. It was the mention of Al B. Sure, however, that turned the heads of fans. The first part of the caption reads: “Here’s a rare photo of my with my mom and dad.” Seemingly harmless, until one realizes that Al B. Sure is nowhere to be found in the pic. The tensions between Quincy Brown and Al B. Sure have been particularly high in 2024. In January, Al B. Sure! posted a cryptic message on Instagram alluding to Diddy’s parenting. “Nothing breaks a dad more than seeing his love for his kids turned into a weapon against him,” he wrote. The comment section then filled with users criticizing Sure for being a bad father himself. It probably didn’t help that Quincy Brown wrote an open letter to the singer, criticizing him for being an absentee father, in 2019.

Despite these issues, Quincy Brown claims that he’s still in touch with his biological father. He spoke on their relationship during a recent appearance on the Lip Service with Angela Yee podcast. “He tends to, like, try and do, like, the ‘dad thing’ a lot,” Brown admitted. “But it’s like that’s not really where we’re at in life. Kim Porter’s Friend Shoots Down New Claims Of A Hidden Memoir

Kim Porter may have passed in 2018, but she has been a major talking point in 2018. The model had four children with Diddy, who has become one of the most reviled figures in popular culture. Numerous claims have been made on behalf of Porter, with most revolving around the notion of a hidden memoir. There’s been widespread debate as to whether the model kept a diary of her experiences with Diddy, or whether this has merely been a way of drumming up controversy for various people to profit. Kim Porter’s friend, Lawanda Lane, asserts that it is the latter.

Lawanda Lane is the caregiver of Kim Porter and Diddy’s twin daughters. She’s also, according to TMZ, Porter’s best friend during the last three decades of Porter’s life. If anybody has insight into the model’s perspective, it would be Lane. And she is using said perspective to shut down the claims made by a new witness in the Diddy case. Lane told the outlet that she was with Porter nearly every day, and never saw the late model write in a diary. She also called out the aforementioned Diddy witness, Courtney Burgess, for claiming to have found a manuscript of a memoir.

For one, Lane posits, there is no memoir, and for another, she claims to have been tasked with going through Kim Porter’s belongings after her death. If there was a memoir, as Burgess states, that Lane told TMZ that she would have been the one to find it. Burgess previously told the outlet that he had footage of Diddy’s so-called “freak off” parties, as well as Porter’s manuscript. Burgess and his lawyer voiced a to publish said manuscript as soon as possible.

This is not the first time a Kim Porter memoir has been pitched to the public. In September, the book Kim’s Lost Words was released through Amazon. The book was dismissed outright by the Combs family as inauthentic. The author, Chris Todd, later told Rolling Stone that he was unsure if the claims made in the purported memoir were even true. “I don’t know,” he explained. But it’s real enough to me… Maybe 80% is.” If we are to believe Lawanda Lane, then the new claims of a Kim Porter memoir will be similarly unreliable.

New Witness In Diddy Case Claims To Have Recordings Of “Freak Off” Parties

A grand jury is currently building a case against Diddy. The Bad Boy mogul has been charged with racketeering and sex trafficking. New allegations and lawsuits are being filed on a semi-regular basis. Courtney Burgess has now been subpoenaed by said grand jury, due to allegations and claims that he has made against Diddy. TMZ caught up with Burgess outside of a Manhattan courthouse. The new witness alleged that he had tapes of Diddy’s so-called “freak off” parties in his possession.

Burgess claimed that the tapes in question feature Diddy performing illicit sexual acts. He also alleged that other notable celebrities were present during said acts. Burgess and his lawyer has noted that the tapes have since been turned over the courts for examination. These are not the only pieces of evidence Burgess claims to have had in his possession, however. He also told TMZ that he had the unedited diary of Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Kim Porter. The model and actress had four children with Diddy before her death in 2018. She was also the subject of widespread controversy due to the publication of a memoir that was largely dismissed as false by her children.

They claimed that their mother did not keep a written diary during her lifetime. Courtney Burgess did not deny the inauthenticity of In Her Own Words. He did, however, take the Combs to task for claiming that Porter did not write anything down. He claimed that he turned Porter’s unedited diary over to the courts. The witness also criticized the Combs family for not coming to the support of their mother while she was still alive.

“They should’ve started worrying when he was beating her,” Burgess told the outlet. “When you start worrying about your mother? After the fact?” Burgess and lawyer Ariel Mitchell have announced plans to publish Porter’s unedited diary via Amazon. Diddy’s children have been making headlines for less than ideal reasons in recent weeks. The mogul’s sons, Justin Combs, King Combs, and Quincy Brown, were involved in an altercation with Ray J at a recent L.A. party. Things got heated between the two parties, but it was eventually broken by up Ray’s manager and Chris Brown.

It was marketed as a memoir allegedly written by Kim Porter herself before her 2018 death. Her ex Al B Sure and the late actress’s children, on the other hand, describe it as allegedly “calculated fiction.”

As the book made headlines for the shocking allegations it contains, Al B Sure took to Instagram to weigh in. “I am writing this post to formally request an investigation into an entire group of individuals who worked at or around the residence of Ms. Kimberly Porter including the publicists who assisted drafting this,” he wrote. “Original notes are distinct from the fabricated bullsh*t and offensive pages circulated via Amazon which depict graphic sexual acts involving me that NEVER took place and were edited and added after Ms. Porter’s tragic murder.”

He later hit the author of the book and Amazon with a cease and desist. Now, he’s reportedly ramped up his security measures, according to Page Six. Recently, he spoke at the American Liver Foundation’s National Legacy Gala in NYC and acknowledged the fact that Homeland Security was there. “I don’t know if I’m supposed to say this because I don’t want it to go viral,” he said at the time. “We even have Homeland Security in the building. Detective Jackson, good to see you.”

A source later told the outlet that Al B Sure has “stepped up his security immeasurably” in recent weeks. It’s unclear if this is directly related to his claims about his ex.
