In a recent The Art Of Dialogue interview with former Bad Boy bodyguard Gene Deal, Diddy’s ex=associate claims that Diddy, who was then known as Puff Daddy, engaged in sexual acts with Karrine “Superhead” Steffans while his then wife, Jennifer Lopez, was in the same house. These allegations have many wondering if Lopez was aware of the extent of her ex-husband’s infidelity in the early 2000s.

Deal says that the former famous couple attended a Miami Hurricanes game, which was followed up by a dinner party organized by the singer/actress. According to the claims, Diddy’s friend Slam arranged for Steffans to join them in a private room. it is alleged that when Lopez went upstairs, Steffans and Combs were intimate.

It is still yet to be confirmed as to whether or not the woman in question was actually Karrine Steffans, however, Deal does insist that Lopez had no idea of what was occurring in her own home.

Elisabeth Ovesen Talks Retiring Karrine Steffans, Superhead Nicknames, And Giving Up Salacious Past

Elisabeth Ovesen, better known as Karrine Steffans, recently opened up about retiring that persona, also called “Superhead.” Moreover, she spoke to comedian Sam Jay about fame, living two different lives, and what it taught her about her own identity. For those of you who don’t know, Ovesen (or Steffans) made a name for herself with her Vixen series of books. In them, she discussed topics of sexual exploitation, relationships, love, lust, and many more through a particularly hip-hop-centric lens. That was the industry in which she made it big. Upon her introduction in 2005, she opened broad cultural conversations on women’s sexual empowerment and agency.

“What’s so funny is that when a woman has sexual autonomy, people assume she’s being used,” Ovesen remarked. “Seeing a woman play a man’s game and win at it was very disturbing to people. I live in it, so I create a persona for that perception to protect who I am as a person. Meanwhile, I’m in bed at 9, I’m watching The Golden Girls… I’m living my life the way I live my life, which is not the way my persona lives her life.“

Elsewhere in the interview, she said that publishers quickly wanted her to keep cranking out New York Times best-sellers. “Publishers did not want me to stop,” the 44-year-old explained. “So they kept asking me to write the same book over and over again. I started a persona that nobody wanted me to finish. She had to keep going. By the time I got to my mid-thirties, I was like, ‘Guys, I’ve grown and my son is getting older. I can’t continue to write this way.’ So there was a time where the persona and the person went through a little war. The person was growing, and the person was learning, and the person was evolving. But the persona can’t.”

Also, she said that retiring her pen name was a “difficult choice to make too. To get rid of Karrine was very difficult because she was my armor,” she explained. Last year, the author formerly known as Karrine Steffans revealed she was in another relationship with a celebrity figure. Now going by the moniker Elisabeth Ovesen, the best-selling author known for sharing her sexual interactions with A-list celebs, accused celebrity chef Kwame Onwuachi of ghosting her after allegedly getting her pregnant.

After a series of back and forths with his attorneys, trips to New York to resolve their issues, Ovesen recently posted a photo of her protruding baby bump to her Instagram account with an eerie caption.

She wrote:

When one door closes … am I right?

I’ve stepped away from finishing my first novel to work on a series bible for an HBO-granted project. It’s been years since I’ve written a bible and I forgot how much fun it is! I’ll get back to the novel next month.

My creative agency @ovesen_co is focused on our biggest client since opening for business last summer. An HBCU client so big, our small company can’t take on another! That’ll change as we grow, but it’s also nice to cater to just one client. Right now, we’re working on fulfilling all their internal and front-facing copy needs. Oh! And I’ve pushed back hiring until the summer when the budget opens up.

I’ve been busy moving, as well. When I lived in New Jersey (2020-2021) there was so much snow! I was really looking forward to snow in New York City during the 2022-2023 winter season, but alas, all we got was rain and some flurries. The good news is that the weather made being bicoastal easier this year.

US book and magazine publishing only exists in New York. So, I’ve always gone back and forth between NY and LA with specific goals in mind. This year, I’ve set my sights on something new and exciting. My first novel, yes, but something more. And I’m getting closer.
