Kanye West is looking forward to his second VULTURES listening party in China with Ty Dolla $ign this Saturday (September 28), once again reminiscing on his childhood. Before their first go-around on September 15, Ye had posted a throwback picture of him as a kid sitting on the steps of Huang Shan (also known as the Yellow Mountain) with the caption “BACK.” For those unaware, he moved to Nanjing when he was ten years old to accompany his mother, who taught college courses as a Fulbright Scholar. On Friday (September 27), the Chicago artist posted yet another throwback pic of him on Instagram with the caption “BACK AGAIN.”

This time, the post features a young Kanye West with white Nikes standing near what seems to be an elevator. As such, considering how massive the first show in Haikou was – with over 40,000 fans in attendance – it seems like he’s ready for another spectacle. What’s more is that the VULTURES duo even premiered some new material that has fans thinking that Yeezy is back in album mode. These include the new track “Preacher Man” and a surprising remix of Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles.”

However, other new music rumors from years ago resurfaced thanks to a new Consequence interview with Bootleg Kev. The rapper claimed that Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar have a whole album’s worth of scrapped songs together produced by Madlib, a mystery that originally captivated us so long ago. “I just think it just needed to be structured,” Con told Kev. “It was there, it’s there, it’s crazy.” Given Ye’s many controversies and recent musical moves, this will probably never see the light of day. But fans can still dream…

Elsewhere, we still don’t know if Kanye West’s supposed next project will be VULTURES 3 (as Ty Dolla $ign promised) or something else entirely. Another collaborative effort, a solo album, a short EP… Who knows? What we do know is that he has a lot to handle and answer for in the public eye, a moment of possible retribution that probably missed its window. But we can never count Ye out of another culturally dominant moment, no matter if its context is for better or worse.

Kanye West has one less property headache to worry about, as he officially closed a deal on his Malibu mansion. For those unaware, this is the one that he reportedly reduced to its bare essentials with the hopes of turning it into a bomb shelter, an idea that he seemingly scrapped altogether. According to supposed real estate sources who reportedly spoke to TMZ, Ye made the sale for $21 million about three years after purchasing it for $57 million. He initially listed it for $53 million, then dropped the price by $14 million, and finally secured a deal with Belwood Investments after another price drop. Belwood is reportedly a California-based “real estate crowdfunding firm.”

Moreover, the company’s CEO Bo Belmont reportedly announced plans to spend $5 million in renovations to restore the vision of the home’s designer Tadao Ando. Of course, most fans don’t care much about a property sale: they just want to hear when Kanye West will musically redeem himself (a third, fourth, or fifth time) after the disappointing Ty Dolla $ign collab album VULTURES 2. Travis Scott and Ty himself recently fueled new album rumors online, so die-hards are a bit more ravenous for new Ye material than usual.

In fact, some alleged leaked texts surfaced online that seem to show Kanye West and producer Digital Nas sending songs to one another. In this exchange, the Chicago artist seemingly suggested that he feels more focused and “locked in” when it comes to his artistry. “I’m going into my full Ye art studio mode,” he allegedly texted to Digital Nas. Of course, it’s entirely possible that he said the same thing about his VULTURES series, so don’t take this as gospel.

Meanwhile, it seems like we already have a taste of a potential new lead single for whatever Kanye West does next, collaboratively or otherwise. “Preacher Man” got an official IG snippet as a tease to hold fans over after he debuted the song at his China listening party with Ty Dolla $ign. Kanye West Settles Battery Lawsuit Over Alleged Autograph Incident

Kanye West seemingly has one less legal issue to handle, as he settled his battery lawsuit according to In Touch Weekly. Moreover, for those unaware, he faced this claim in February in Los Angeles Superior Court from an autograph collector who claimed that Ye struck him and threatened him when he approached him for a signature in January of 2022. This took place near a warehouse in downtown Los Angeles, and the autograph enthusiast in question (Justin Poplawski) reportedly told the court that the settlement covers the whole debacle. Apparently, both parties came to a final understanding around September 11.

Elsewhere, Kanye West is probably trying his best to balance his new music sessions, his travels with his wife Bianca Censori, and his other business endeavors while also dealing with the fallout of his alleged actions and his confirmed behavior. He continues to be a focal point of controversy for various reasons, whether it’s sexual harassment allegations or disappointed fans following VULTURES 2. A third installment is allegedly on the way, but we all know how hectic and unfulfilled these album rollouts can be.

In fact, it appears like Kanye West fans have instead taken matters into their own hands when it comes to new music. A fan seemingly hacked his Spotify page and uploaded the Ty Dolla $ign VULTURES leftover “GUN TO MY HEAD” featuring Kid Cudi, which was previously only available digitally. Interestingly enough, it wasn’t visible for every single user and it seems like this was by no means an intentional or official release. Given just how bizarre and glitchy the VULTURES releases turned out, we’re not surprised that Ye continues to deal with some weird uploads.

Meanwhile, Kanye West and Bianca Censori have never flinched amid his many controversies, going out in lewd and striking fashion all around the world. Ye keeps this attitude up across pretty much everything he does, for better or worse. Nevertheless, we’ll see what becomes of his other lawsuits on the table, as he has a lot of accusations and legal discrepancies to handle. It’s been a lot of ups and downs, but through it all, few would argue that each individual in this KIDS SEE GHOSTS duo has a more kindred artistic or personal spirit with anyone else that isn’t Cudi or Ye. The only one that comes close to that is another of Kanye’s collab album partners, Jay-Z. But the Cleveland creative has now put that into question, as he recently shouted out someone who he called his only real friend (“How many of us?“) when he was at the Chicago artist’s G.O.O.D. Music label: Pusha T.

“Push has been my closest homie since day 1,” Kid Cudi tweeted on Wednesday (September 18). “He embraced me from jump and always has my back. When I was on GOOD music, he was like literally the only one I had a true relationship with. Thats my big bro and I love him forever. Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign Leave Fans Scratching Their Heads With “A Thousand Miles” Remix

As with many of their other VULTURES listening parties, Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s China concert over the weekend was quite eventful. Whether it was bringing all of Ye’s kids onstage or dissing Adidas once more, there was a lot to take in and some notable moments to witness. However, one of the oddest timestamps occurred when they debuted a new song that remixes Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles.” If you don’t recognize the track title, we guarantee you’ll recognize its opening piano lick. Ty sings its lyrics in the clip below over a string recreation of the original instrumentation, backed by frenetic ad-libs from Skinbone’s 2018 parody of the same track.

All in all, it doesn’t actually sound so bad as it looks on paper, especially with the regal flair Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign add to the melody. But it’s certainly an odd choice for a cover, although their as-of-yet unreleased “EVERYBODY” collab with its Backstreet Boys sample kind of set this precedent already. Also, it’s not like the quality standard is very high after VULTURES 2, if we’re being real. Nonetheless, it wasn’t the only new song they teased.

Furthermore, many folks wonder what Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s next moves will be. While there’s still technically another VULTURES volume in the works, the release strategy for its previous installments leaves little hope for a well-groomed release, let alone a compelling one. Also, there are rumors that recent performances have inspired Ye for a new project, although the nature of it’s unclear. Whether it’s a solo album or another collaborative effort is a question for Father Time as of writing this article.

Meanwhile, even with all the family time and performance spectacles, there’s still a lot of controversy over Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign. The former definitely carries most of that weight, and we don’t know if this will ever really see another big shift. Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign recently held their VULTURES listening session in China on Sunday (September 15), which was a pretty magnanimous affair. He even previewed a new song for fans, which heartened its admirers who felt disappointed by VULTURES 2. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Ye show these days if his kids didn’t go up to perform with him. North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm all accompanied him onstage at Hainan’s Wuyuan River Sports Stadium to perform “Everybody,” one of the numerous cuts from this album series that still hasn’t seen the official light of day. However, things allegedly haven’t all been great when it comes to this family dynamic. This is just the latest of Kanye West’s many controversies and accusations over the past few years, ones that have been impossible to escape. Still, it looks like he will continue to drop new music and develop his career while we wait on what other wild statement he will make. For example, Playboi Carti recently teased some more collabs between the two on the Atlanta rage star’s upcoming album. Perhaps this and the other song preview will hint toward the next sound to tackle.

As such, we’re still in the balancing act of Kanye West’s controversial career and behavior. In fact, it’s lasted much longer than some folks give it credit for. Kanye West fans in China were in for a treat at his VULTURES listening party with Ty Dolla $ign, getting more than what they bargained for. Moreover, he previewed a new song seemingly titled “Preacher Man,” which features some simple and high-pitched vocal sampling under his passionate auto-tuned singing, eventually leading into a rap verse and earthy electric guitar strums. It sounds reminiscent of 808s & Heartbreak to a degree, mixed in with the more minimal, atmospheric, and dramatic approach of much of Ye’s 2020s output so far. Many fans in the comments section of the post below wrote statements like “Ye beat washed allegations” given the disappointed reception to VULTURES 2.

Furthermore, Kanye West reportedly said that this new song will appear on his next project, which is unsurprisingly a mystery at press time. Actually, that’s giving it too much credit: there are no details to speak of at all. We just have rumblings of inspiration and studio work, but no indication if this will be a solo album or the conclusion to the promised VULTURES trilogy. Considering how chaotic and shoddy the releases turned out so far, we wouldn’t express shock if its third installment remains a myth for a long time.

Ahead of Kanye West’s China concert with Ty Dolla $ign for their VULTURES parties (which will be his first in the country in 16 years), he just confused a lot of fans online. Moreover, he posted a picture of him wearing a hoodie with what seems like Chinese on it with the caption “TOLD YOU.” While no one really knows what this means, one can easily assume that this relates to Ye’s concert, possibly to the specifics of how long it took him to return to China. Either way, his die-hards are ready. They gathered outside the Hainan stadium where he’ll perform tomorrow (Sunday, February 15) to play his music.

As you can see in the Twitter post below, other Kanye West fans in China went to great lengths to express their excitement. They traveled with custom luggage honoring him, and a couple of cars were spotted around town that either quote or represent Ye to a certain degree. We’re sure that his travels in the country with his wife Bianca Censori already saw him run into plenty of these excited admirers. Tomorrow night, we’ll see how the listening party turns out.

As you probably already know, Bianca Censori and Kanye West have been traveling the world for the past couple of years, popping up all over Europe, Asia, and the Americas, along with some other continents and countries. A lot of this is for Ye’s VULTURES rollout and listening parties, such as his recent event with Ty Dolla $ign in Korea. Playboi Carti Hypes Up Kanye West Collab On Upcoming Album

Playboi Carti is back… For now. Of course, it’s entirely possible that this whole rollout hype ends up being a false flag, but we’d rather keep our optimism while we can. As such, many fans are more excited than ever for the confirmed release of his new album, I AM MUSIC (or just MUSIC? We’ll see…). This became especially true after the Atlanta rage star hinted at more Kanye West collabs on this next project. “@ye KANT WAIT 2 SHOW THE WORLD WHAT WE BEEN WORKING ON WIT DIS ALBUM WE DA REAL 5L NO DOUBT,” he shared on his Instagram Story on Friday (September 13), which is coincidentally Carti’s birthday. Happy trip around the sun!

However, just as many fans are skeptical due to Ye’s shoddy releases as of late. But the two have a relatively extensive collaborative history dating back to the Chicago artist’s executive production on Playboi Carti’s Whole Lotta Red and feature on its track “Go2DaMoon.” Almost everything else has been on Kanye West albums: “Off The Grid” and “Junya” off Donda, “Mr. Miyagi” off Donda 2, “FUK SUMN” and “CARNIVAL” off VULTURES 1, “FIELD TRIP” off VULTURES 2, and Ye’s production on Carti’s “2024.” Another reason for skepticism, though, concerns Carti’s new single “ALL RED.”

Furthermore, many fans think that Playboi Carti emulated Future too much on this new song, even if they’re grateful that he finally seems to be kicking his next era into full gear. We’ll see what the next step is in this process. Elsewhere, he also put up pre-orders for box sets of the new album, which you can pair with a hoodie, a T-shirt, or a hat. As far as a release date or anything like that, everyone is still in the dark.

According to the Opium boss’ website, these pre-orders will ship no later than six months after September 12, so that’s at least one indication suggesting that the latest we could get the LP is around March or April of next year. Hopefully, it’s sooner… Regardless of all this, there is one other Playboi Carti collab on the horizon that definitely has fans more excited. He recently was a special guest at The Weeknd’s São Paulo show to debut a new song together.
