Kanye West Named ‘Antisemite of the Year’ by Watchdog Group

Kanye West Alex Jones interview

As year-end honors are being handed out, Kanye West may have one that he wishes to sidestep. Ye has been named Antisemite of the Year by a watchdog group.

According to TMZ, watchdog group StopAntisemitism named Ye “the most problematic person of 2022” in regard to the group’s mission, corraling 10,000 votes from members.

“Kanye uses his celebrity platform to push dangerous antisemitic tropes about Jews and power and he refuses to stop,” said Liora Rez, StopAntisemitism Executive Director. “His continuous onslaught of bigoted statements has resulted in horrific antisemitic acts perpetrated by white supremacists, Black Hebrew Israelites, and other fringe groups looking to cause Jews harm.

“Jew hatred is already out of control in the United States and the last thing we need is a celebrity like Kanye to add fuel to that fire.”

Meanwhile, Ye has been suspended from Clubhouse for another round of antisemitic views.

Ye Suspended From Clubhouse Over Antisemitic Remarks, Takes Shots At Meek Mill

Kanye West Alex Jones interview

After being suspended by both Twitter and Instagram, Ye took to the social media platform Clubhouse to continue his tirade of anti-semitic remarks.

In a recent Clubhouse chat with Wack 100, Ye continued his anti-semitic rants, and even brought Chinese people into it saying that the Chinese “use Jewish people” to “control Black people.” He suggested that Jewish people are just “middlemen.”

Shortly after the comments were made, Ye was swiftly suspended from Clubhouse. The social media company released a statement on Ye’s suspension.

“We took action to shut down a conversation yesterday because it violated our policies,” the statement reads. “We also suspended those who violated the policies. There’s absolutely no place for bullying, hate speech or abuse on our platform as explicitly stated in our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.”

During the chat, Ye also took shots at Meek Mill while going on a rant about celebrities coming out against the musician and fashion designer.

“Oh, you know what, let’s go get celebrities,” Ye said. “Let’s go get Puff Daddy, let’s get Dave Chappelle, let’s go get Meek Mill… What made somebody think Meek Mill could say something to me?!” Ye added: “Yo, man, I’m about to start crying laughing,. Somebody thought Meek Mill… Yo, I’m literally in tears.”

Meek would actually respond to Ye in a tweet on Sunday.

“Never lost my mind for fame or money,” Meek wrote. “I still have my family …my people respect me … I’m freeing people from prison… I’m doing community service all month with children up close and personal .. I’m chilling wit my son and his friends today.. y’all on clubhouse at 50 lol”

Ye & Wack 100 Diss Meek Mill On Clubhouse: “I’m Literally In Tears”

Ye has once again gotten the boot from various social media platforms. However, the 45-year-old isn’t letting that stop him from making sure the world hears his thoughts. Most recently, he joined Wack 100 over on Clubhouse, at which time the two industry heads shared a laugh about Meek Mill.

In an audio snippet shared to @theneighborhoodtalk on Instagram, the Graduation rapper can be heard talking about the backlash he received in response to his White Lives Matter t-shirts earlier this year.

“Oh, you know what, let’s go get celebrities,” Kanye West recalled of what the world’s reaction to his antics felt like. “Let’s go get Puff Daddy, let’s get Dave Chappelle, let’s go get Meek Mill… What made somebody think Meek Mill could say something to me?!” he exclaimed before cracking up.

The rapper could barely get a word out without giggling. “Yo, man, I’m about to start crying laughing,” he tells Wack and their listeners. “Somebody thought Meek Mill… Yo, I’m literally in tears.”

“This a world tour or your girl tour, right?” another voice chimed in with the famous Drake lyrics previously aimed at the “Uptown Vibes” hitmaker. At the same time, the Yeezy founder maniacally laughs at the thought of his fellow artist checking him. The majority of the audio is unintelligible due to West’s snickering.

Meek and Ye have been publicly trading shots for some time now. At the end of November, the former made claims that the latter “sold his soul” on his “God Did” freestyle.

“Make a hundred million dollars and still go get my friends after / And that don’t go for everybody, just the only ones that been back for me,” he rhymes on the song. “I will never sell my soul for money, like I’m Kanye / It’s crazy I used to bring you on my cell house on lock day.”

At this time, Meek Mill hasn’t responded to Kanye West and Wack 100’s comments. Check back in with HNHH later for any updates on the rapper’s ongoing beef.

Dr. Umar Johnson Claims Kim Kardashian “Used” Kanye West Following $200K Child Support Order

While sitting down with The Breakfast Club, Dr. Umar Johnson offered his take on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West after the rapper was recently ordered to pay $200K per month in child support.

Saying that the Kardashian “used” West, Johnson also called the six-figure child support payments “ridiculous,” pointing out that both celebrities are rich.

In the interview, which was posted online early Friday, DJ Envy asked Johnson if things would be different for the Donda rapper if he was with a Black woman.

“Oh absolutely. I think Kim Kardashian used him,” he said straightaway. “And the fact that they’re making that man pay $200,000 a month in child support when both he and the wife are billionaires are absolutely ridiculous. I think that they wanna break him.”

Seemingly alluding to West’s recent controversial comments, Johnson added, “And although I don’t agree with the way in which Kanye articulated some of his thoughts, I appreciate the fact that he was the first Black man since Michael Jackson to speak truth to power.”

As HotNewHipHop previously reported, West and Kardashian finalized their divorce last month. The reality star filed back in February 2021.

The pair will now share custody of their kids, with the Chicago native ordered to dish out $200,000 per month in child support payments.

West will also be responsible for half of their four children’s security and education expenses.

Following reports of the child support order, many fans referenced lyrics from West’s hit song “Gold Digger” despite Kardashian having wealth long before dating her ex-husband.

Ye Loses Honorary Degree From the School of Art Institute of Chicago

Kanye West George Floyd

Kanye West has lost his honorary degree from the School of Art Institute of Chicago. The prestigious school removed the honor after his run of inflammatory comments.

In a letter to TMZ, the Art Institute cites the decision as a result of Ye’s “anti-Black, antisemitic, and incendiary statements, particularly those directed at Black and Jewish communities, are disgusting and condemnable.”

The letter comes from the school’s president, Elissa Tenny, who states, “As a community, we know that there are varying opinions on what our School’s response should be––even as we all agree that his behavior is indefensible.”

Ye received the degree in May 2015 for his accomplishments and contributions to art and culture.

Kanye West Loses Honorary Degree As SAIC Condemns “Dangerous Statements”

He has lost billions in partnerships, lucrative deals have dissolved, and now Kanye West no longer holds an honorary degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The South Side native has consistently praised his hometown in his music and given back to local communities. His success earned the attention of the Art Institute, but today (December 8), it was announced that they have rescinded their honorary doctorate.

West was awarded the honor back in 2015 during a highly publicized ceremony. Following the rapper’s recent pro-Nazi rhetoric, students and alumni reportedly petitioned for the school to take action. “The School of the Art Institute of Chicago condemns and repudiates Kanye West’s (now known as Ye) anti-Black, antisemitic, racist, and dangerous statements, particularly those directed at Black and Jewish communities,” the school shared in a statement.

They continued: “Ye’s actions do not align with SAIC’s mission and values, and we’ve rescinded his honorary degree.”

Much of West’s global fanbase has been disappointed in comments made in recent years. From his takes on slavery to his admonishing of Harriet Tubman’s impact to his most recently admitted respect for Adolf Hitler, West has seemingly become his own worst enemy. He continues to sit down for hot-take interviews with far-alt-right outlets as he speaks with controversial political figures.

During his conversations with Infowars Alex Jones and Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes, West admitted to liking Hitler. He also argued that Nazis have received a poor reputation because of the Jewish community, and he also denied that 6 million people were killed during the Holocaust.

Additionally, Ye has officially revealed his bid for president and will run in the U.S. 2024 election. His platform remains unclear, but he has made appearances with white supremacist Nick Fuentes.

Ye Drops New Track ‘Someday We’ll All Be Free’ Addressing His Recent Controversy

Kanye West Alex Jones interview

Ye recently dropped a new track “Someday We’ll All Be Free” on Alex Jones’s far right-wing website Infowars. In the new track, Ye talks about the backlash he has received for his anti-semitic comments over the past month.

The track samples Donny Hathaway’s 1973 song “Someday We’ll All Be Free,” and towards the end, he samples his own words from his interview with Alex Jones on the far right-wing commentators show Infowars.

In the song, Ye talks about his failed marriage with Kim Kardashian, rapping “Waking up to ‘I can’t do this anymore’ texts” and even admitting that his own antics had something to do with their breakup when he rapped “I know ’cause the headlines why you wanna leave/
You knew I follow God, so you should follow me.”

Towards the end of the song, Ye also referenced the inflammatory “death con” tweets that began his fall from grace. “Tweeted death con now we past three” Ye rapped.

At the end of the song, Ye sampled his own words from his interview with Alex Jones where he went on a Nazi and Hitler-loving rant. In the song, however, he cuts the sample short after he says “There’s a lot of things that I love.”

Following the release of the song, many took to Twitter where they shared their thoughts on Ye releasing the song, especially on Infowars.
