50 Cent Reveals Why Eminem Turned Down “The Biggest Tour In The World”

Eminem may be one of the biggest musical superstars in the world, but even he’s too grounded to find the prospect of a world tour too appealing. At least, that was the case years ago according to a new story that 50 Cent shared with CBS Mornings‘ Michelle Miller. According to Fif, he once proposed to Em that they and Dr. Dre go on a massive joint world tour together, and it looks like this would’ve been at the height of their powers. However, as the G-Unit mogul explained, it seems like the Detroit legend had a very personal and wholesome reason to turn it down, even if 50 didn’t see it that way back then.

“‘We’ll be on super arena stages, just me and you,’” 50 Cent recalled telling Eminem. “‘Then if we bring [Dr. Dre] on some dates, so we do different things. We don’t need nothing else. It’ll be the biggest tour in the world.’ He said, ‘I just don’t want to go and come back and Hailie’s grown.’ I thought he was crazy because I was like, ‘He just don’t want to go.’

50 Cent Speaks On Why Eminem Turned Down Joint World Tour With Him & Dr. Dre

“Cause I was trying to convince him to go on the tour at that point,” 50 Cent went on. “And then… I was at Hailie’s wedding. She got married and I’m like, ‘This is what he’s talking about.’” In fact, here’s what 50 said about Eminem’s daughter’s wedding in a Haute Living interview. ““I wish I had a daughter, I do, I wish I had a daughter,” he admitted. “I wish I had that [father-daughter] relationship. For female children, their dad is the first man they fall in love with. Male children go to their mom; I’m a mama’s boy myself.

“It was unbelievable, the wildest thing for me, period,” 50 Cent continued his remarks. “I was like, ‘Yo, bro, this is cr*zy. We’re getting old. Your baby is grown. What the f**k is going on?’ I was having a moment myself over there. I told [Eminem], ‘You said it was OK to cry? Because I’m crying.’ I couldn’t believe it went that fast.”

Funny Marco Thinks Bobbi Althoff Joint Tour Could Still Happen

If there was an award for “Best Breakout Comedy Star of 2023,” both Funny Marco and Bobbi Althoff would easily be in the running. They’ve been hard at work for longer, but this year is when they really started to get a lot more attention, laughs, and opportunities. However, it seems like things between the two are not as buddy-buddy as they once were, or Marco is just trolling us a little with his demeanor. Moreover, he recently spoke to Complex‘s Speedy Morman for 360 With Speedy at ComplexCon 2023 and addressed a previous promise that they would go on tour together eventually.

As their conversation began to wrap up, Morman asked Funny Marco about Bobbi Althoff and how he appeared on her show. When he asked what their relationship is like and whether they’ll go on the tour that they promised, Marco started drinking from his water bottle and asked how much time they had left (3 minutes, by the way). Speedy had already mentioned that their initial dates disappeared, so something must’ve happened, and Marco said that “she didn’t feel good,” so they scrapped it. Once Althoff feels better, though, he’s down to hop back on the road and talk about “just a whole bunch of fun stuff.”

Funny Marco Bizarrely Answers Bobbi Althoff Question

Furthermore, during this same sit-down, Funny Marco also spoke on his first-ever Open Thoughts interview with DaBaby. “It was dangerous,” he chuckled. “When I asked DaBaby why he rapped the same, I was trying to ask for the people. That was something I shouldn’t have did, but I did it. But it was great. We ended up making a great episode, got a great relationship. But sometimes I’m like, don’t ask what the people want to know– just ask what you need to know. So that was something that I learned from that.”

Meanwhile, Althoff’s been pretty low-key as of late, perhaps due to backlash for recent interview snippets. Either way, if she’s not feeling well, we wish her a speedy recovery with hopes that she’ll be able to enjoy this tour. These comedians are known for their dry humor, so that bizarre chemistry should be something pretty comical to see. Chance The Rapper Reveals “A Lot Of Negatives” During Tour With Macklemore In Europe

Chance The Rapper and Macklemore might not be the first two artists you think of together, but the two actually go way back. While reflecting on the ten-year anniversary of his mainstream breakout project Acid Rap to Ebro Darden, Chance spoke on the early days of his career. At one point, he touched on opening for the Seattle MC during his Europe tour in 2013, and called it one of the most challenging obstacles he faced during his rise to the top. However, that’s not because of his performance partner, but rather the circumstances and crowds that they experienced during their trek. It’s wild and heartening to hear the Chicago artist talk about his unfortunate struggles, and to see how far he’s come since.

“The toughest challenge I ever experienced was I went on tour with Macklemore,” Chance The Rapper remarked. “Macklemore is an amazing, amazing person and helped me out tremendously as well. But his shows, it was in Europe and it was, I think 38 dates, all 20,000 capacity rooms. All like off markets too, like Poland and Dusseldorf.

“These people didn’t speak English at all,” Chance The Rapper elaborated. “And not only did they not speak English, he sold out all these shows before [they] announced [me] on the ticket. So it’s really bad when you go to a show and there’s an opener that you don’t want to see. It’s way worse when it’s a surprise opener that you don’t want to see. That’s speaking a different language and Black, a lot of negatives on top of each other for the Swedish crowds. So I’m dealing with that.

“When I came home, I got to finally feel at the end of that year when I went on my own solo tour, I got to feel having my own crowd, selling my own tickets and really built my whole off that tour,” the 30-year-old expressed. “The year Acid Rap dropped, I started out and went on tour with Mac Miller, rest in peace, my guy, amazing dude, changed my life in a lot of ways. But I went on tour with Mac Miller at the end of March and my mixtape dropped while I was on tour. I literally watched people go from yawning and looking at their clocks while I was on stage to singing along to jumping along. I watched that.” For more news on Chance The Rapper and Macklemore, stay logged into HNHH.
