Kendrick Perkins wasn’t having any of JJ Redick’s comments on the officiating in the Warriors-Kings series. On Wednesday’s edition of First Take, Redick claimed that the officials are letting the two teams play too physically. Also, Redick feels like the officiating is way too one-sided. JJ Redick Gives Brutally Honest Assessment Of Russell Westbrook Signing

JJ Redick has quickly become one of the best NBA analysts out there. Overall, there aren’t a lot of people telling it like it is like Redick. He is someone who actually played the game, and he has some great takes. Moreover, he has become a rising star on First Take. He is always getting into arguments with Stephen A. On Monday, Redick was quick to give his opinion on Russell Westbrook, who signed with the Los Angeles Clippers. Overall, Redick was very honest about the signing, saying it isn’t the best fit. Yeah. I was actually having a conversation with somebody on Saturday. We were talking about him going to the Clippers. I could see him, especially come playoffs, winning a playoff game. Where he just comes in, he’s a madman, he’s running around, he’s grabbing loose balls, getting rebounds, taking into transition, attacking the rim, 22 points, eight rebounds, six assists, in 24 minutes. They win a game. Turns the series around.”

At this point, there is no telling what version of Russ we will be getting. As Redick explained, the days of Russ getting starter minutes could be over. Former NBA player and New Orleans Pelicans JJ Redick called out Zion Williamson on ESPN First Take yesterday for being a bad teammate. The reason behind Redick’s call out was because Williamson reportedly hasn’t spoken to his newest teammate CJ McCollum.

“Shows a complete lack of investment in your team, in the organization, in the city,” Redick said. “I get that [Williamson’s] hurt and away from the team, but you just traded for one of the 50 best players in the league. A guy that’s supposed to be paired with you. Reach out and say hello. This is a pattern of behavior with Zion that we are seeing again and again. And look, I was his teammate. I can describe him as a detached teammate. That is an accurate statement. This is basic level of humanity being a teammate. Send a text to a guy when he gets traded to your team. That is just normal behavior. That is bare minimum that you have to do.”

Redick didn’t hold much back in his rant, including how Williamson is a detached teammate. Williamson hasn’t played any NBA games this season and it looks like he wants no parts of the Pelicans. McCollum shouldn’t take the ghosting like move personal. Williamson been ghosting the organization for sometime now.
