Jay Critch Gears Up For A Potentially Massive 2024 With New Solo LP “Humble Giant”

New York rapper Jay Critch is synonymous with the Rich Forever collective. Him, along with Rich The Kid and Famous Dex all have their fair share of highlights from the late 2010s decade. While he may not be the biggest name out of the trio, or in general, he has never wavered. He sticks to his guns and shoots it straight when it comes to his style. That is what Jay Critch is doing on his latest record Humble Giant.

If the title was not a dead giveaway for you, Critch is bringing some of his biggest brags to date. The name of the record is certainly a clever one as he doing the total opposite of being reserved. Jay Critch is out on a mission on Humble Giant to prove he is hungry as ever. Why this kind of theme is perfect for the times, is because we may be getting more sometime later.

Jay Critch’s “Too Rare” Single Urges Haters To Talk Trash With Their Chests: Stream

The second New Music Friday of 2024 was huge for hip-hop, with Kid Cudi and 21 Sav sharing their INSANO and american dream projects respectively. Things were quieter yesterday (January 19), though Blueface, 6ix9ine, and K Camp were among those who had new releases to share earlier in the week. Lil Dicky’s Penith project is up on our site already, and in terms of singles, we’ve got recommendations from Finesse2tymes, JoeyBada**, and Fivio Foreign to get your weekend streaming started. Aside from those, Jay Critch has a hot new song for your consideration too.

“Too Rare” arrives in tandem with “Rich & Reckless,” another song the 25-year-old unleashed this Friday with the help of Rich The Kid and Famous Dex. The latter is significantly shorter than Critch’s solo effort, which finds his confidence on full display as he begs his haters to speak louder when keeping his name in their mouths.

It’s Friday once again, and the new music releases are coming in hot. From Ice Spice’s debut EP to new singles from NLE Choppa, Rich The Kid, and more, there’s no shortage of songs to satisfy your weekend streaming needs.

The “Plug Walk” hitmaker actually makes a few appearances on different releases this weekend. First, he assisted Trippie Redd on his MANSION MUSIK project, specifically showing out on the fifteenth title, “WHO ELSE!”

Aside from that collaboration, The Kid also connected with Famous Dex and Jay Critch for a joint single. “Where’s Dexter” landed at midnight on Friday (January 20), and finds the three artists exchanging clever wordplay throughout their verses.

The song opens with, “She wanna hang with Rich Forever / She’s texting her friends like ‘Where’s Dexter?’ / I’m f*cking this bitch, but her n*gga jealous / She look at my wrist, that’s a Richard Millie.”

Elsewhere, stars like Rihanna and A$AP Rocky earn a name-drop while the rappers proceed to flex their designer outfits and the women they attract.

To celebrate the arrival of his new single, The Kid shared a photo dump of him and Rick Ross on Instagram. “She wanna hang wit Rich Forever,” he wrote in the caption.

“Justin Credible Presents: R-Mean” Is Here With Features From Jay Critch, B-Real, French Montana, & More

During his recent appearance on Power 106 Los Angeles’ LA Leakers, California-born rapper R-Mean made it known that he and Justin Credible have a joint album on the way. Thankfully, fans didn’t have to wait long between his undeniably impressive freestyle and the release date, as the 11-track effort landed on Friday (December 16).

Previously released titles from the project include “God Flows” with B-Real and a solo title from the rapper called “The Gemini Effect.” Additionally, his “Yalla Habibi” collab with French Montana and “Enemies” with BlocBoy JB and S4G4 made it on his new arrival.

New songs from R-Mean include “Mind of a Maniac” as well as “Play This At My Funeral” with Jay Critch. Later on the tracklist, we hear him shine on “Angel with One Wing” and “Rooting For Me.”

As we mentioned earlier, the “Kings” hitmaker didn’t hold back during his LA Leakers freestyle. Marking his first appearance on the beloved series since 2017, this time around he rapped over two Scott Storch instrumentals.

Firstly, he annihilated The Game’s “Westside Story,” and later, he went on to take down Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s “Lean Back” beat.

“Teaching’ ‘em lessons, came here to give the Leakers the business, and he ‘finna witness / Word to Nipsey, preach independence / A beacon of hope to my people, this sh*t deeper than lyrics,” are among the bars he crafted on the spot.

Finally, stream Justin Credible Presents: R-Mean on Spotify or Apple Music below. Afterward, let us know what titles are your favourite in the comments.
