Drake Places An Obscenely Large Bet On Jake Paul In His Fight Against Tommy Fury In Saudi Arabia

Drake’s love of gambling has been well-documented over the years. The Toronto hitmaker is known for placing insanely expensive bets at various sporting events. Most recently, the rapper bet nearly half $1 million — $400k to be exact — for Youtuber turned boxing star Jake Paul to knock out Tommy Fury in their upcoming bout.

Paul and Fury will fight today (Sunday, February 26) at the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia. “Knock knock @stake,” the rapper wrote in an Instagram post.

However, unlike his success in music, he isn’t always lucky when it comes to making bets. The last fighter he bet on, UFC fighter Israel Adesanya, cost him $ 2 million.

But in Drake’s case, it’s more than a case of bad luck. It’s been floated around that an alleged curse follows the rapper. The hilarious notion (but very accurate in some cases) has become its own phenomenon. It always starts the same. Drake ends up rooting for a specific sports team or individual, and they inevitably lose.

That doesn’t mean the “Rich Flex” rapper hasn’t had some big wins in the past. Following Super Bowl LVII, Drake won $1.4 million after placing a 700k bet that the Kansas City Chiefs would defeat the Philadelphia Eagles.

Drake Bets $400k On Jake Paul To KO Tommy Fury

Drake is confident enough in Jake Paul to knock out Tommy Fury during tomorrow night’s fight that he bet $400,000 on the result. The Toronto rapper shared a picture of the bet slip on Instagram, Saturday night. “Knock knock,” Drake captioned the screenshot.

Saturday’s bet is far from the first gamble Drake has shared on social media. He’s promoted his bets on various sporting events through Stake on Instagram for years. By betting on the Chiefs in the most recent Super Bowl, Drake raked in over $2 million. It’s been reported that Drake has wagered over $1 billion since joining Stake in December 2021.

Drake’s Bet

Drake and Paul have interacted on multiple occasions in the past. In 2021, Paul revealed on his brother Logan’s podcast that the rapper DM’d him after one of his fights. “Drake DMed me last night,” he said on the Impaulsive podcast. “[It was] one of the best moments of my life. He says, ‘You’re a demon crow, wow. How much you make for a one-minute set tonight?’” Paul also shared a picture with Drake while welcoming in the new year in 2022.

As for Jake Paul’s fight against Tommy Fury, the YouTuber turned boxer recently predicted that he’ll knock out the half-brother of Tyson Fury. Speaking with Sky Sports, Paul detailed his expectations for the match. “You can expect Fury face down on the canvas, unconscious and it’s going to happen fast. Get your popcorn but don’t blink,” Paul said. “They hate on me beating Tyron Woodley. They hate on me beating Anderson Silva, not understanding that they are both 10 times better boxers than Tommy Fury. So the critics and the sheep who believe Jake Paul hasn’t fought a real boxer, someone his age, they’re technically right and this checks that off. So that’s going to be fun to shut those people up. The kid is good but he’s not great and he’s never been in there with someone who wants it more than him.” Both Paul and Fury are currently undefeated in the ring. Their fight is scheduled for 2:00 PM, ET on Sunday. It will air live on Showtime in the U.S.

Jake Paul & Tommy Fury Make Massive Bet

Jake Paul and Tommy Fury are gearing up to fight one another on Sunday. Overall, this is going to be a massive fight for both of these men. As many of you already know, these two are both undefeated. However, they are each facing different criticisms and demons. For instance, Paul has yet to fight a real boxer and fans want him to finally do so. Moreover, Tommy Fury is living in the shadow of his brother Tyson, and they want him to break free from that association.

With the fight set to take place in just a few days from now, both Paul and Fury are in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The two got to partake in their pre-fight press conference, and as you can imagine, it was a whole lot of fun. Both of them were getting into it, and when they did the face-to-face pose, there was a bit of a scuffle. Overall, it is everything you would come to expect from a Paul and Fury press conference. Although, there was one more interesting tidbit that bears explaining.

Jake Paul Vs Tommy Fury

According to TMZ, Paul proposed a bet between the two. The bet is quite simple as the winner is going to take all of the earnings. In the video clip up above, you can see that it was Paul who proposed the bet. Additionally, the two shook on it which goes to show that Fury is serious about it. Subsequently, the two need to drum up some paperwork to make this official. Of course, it isn’t the first time Paul has made a wager with an opponent. He did something similar with Tyron Woodley, which led to Woodley getting an embarrassing tattoo.

At this point, this fight is extremely difficult to predict. However, it is clear that both of these men desperately want to win the fight. For Paul, this could be the moment that defines him as a boxer. For Fury, this could completely shatter his future in the sport. Let us know who you think will come out on top, in the comments below. Jake Paul and Tommy Fury are finally going to fight against one another. The fight is officially set to go down on Sunday, February 26th in Saudi Arabia. This is a make-or-break match for Paul, who will need to win if he actually wants his boxing career to be taken seriously, moving forward.

Today is a huge media day for Paul and Fury as the press conference for the fight was today. Although Fury has largely ducked his commitments, he has finally decided to tag along for the ride. Unfortunately, he was unable to tap into First Take today, where Paul got to speak with Stephen A. Smith. It was here that Paul predicted he would win his fight. However, Paul isn’t just going to settle for a decision. In fact, he believes he can knock out Tommy in four rounds.

Jake Paul Talks The Talk

Just yesterday, Paul was espousing the same kinds of rhetoric in relation to the upcoming fight. For instance, Jake Paul said that Fury was going to be decapitated in this match. He also warned that the Fury family will disown him after this. “Tommy, I hope you’ve enjoyed these last few moments of your career,” Jake said. “This is it, you’re going to be retired from boxing after this. You’re going to be disowned by your family. You’re going to go back to your mother’s maiden name. There’s nothing else that can save you. It’s just me and you — mano a mano.”

Overall, this is going to be a truly riveting match. Even if you hate Paul and everything he stands for, you can’t help but want to watch. He is a compelling figure, and consequently, this has led to a ton of Pay-Per-View sales. Let us know if you think he can win, in the comments below. Jake Paul Issues A Threat To Tommy Fury

Jake Paul is currently one of the most famous fighters in the entire world. Although many don’t consider him to be a real boxer, he has certainly defeated some real opponents. He has gone up against the likes of Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, and even Anderson Silva. Overall, he remains undefeated and he is ready for his biggest challenge yet. Now, he is about to go up against Tommy Fury, who many see as a real boxer. This could be Jake’s first loss, although he seems to be extremely confident in himself.

For Paul, this could be a make-or-break moment in his career. If he were to lose, then he would forfeit much of his appeal. However, if he wins, then this could be a stepping stone to fighting other actual boxers. At the end of the day, Paul is still very young and he has a lot of room to grow in the sport. For now, Paul remains focused on Tommy Fury, for who he recorded a message for today. In the clip down below, you can see that Jake tried to be as menacing as possible.

Jake Paul Speaks

“Tommy, I hope you’ve enjoyed these last few moments of your career,” Jake said. “This is it, you’re going to be retired from boxing after this. You’re going to be disowned by your family. You’re going to go back to your mother’s maiden name. There’s nothing else that can save you. It’s just me and you — mano a mano.” Moreover, Paul went on to issue a direct threat to Fury. Paul spared no punches here, as he even made a reference to Fury’s newborn child. “So, all that cute little motivation about having a child and fighting for her, all that s*** goes out the window when I’m coming to take your f***ing head off, decapitate you,” Paul said.

This is one of those fights that is going to be impossible to predict. Whenever Paul gets into the ring, it is a complete wild card. That said, it should be very interesting to see how this all plays out. Let us know who you believe will win, down in the comments below. Tommy Fury Reveals How Badly He’s Going To Injury Jake Paul

Tommy Fury and Jake Paul have had a long history of trying to fight against one another. The first time these two were going to get in the ring, Fury pulled out due to a rib injury. Subsequently, they tried fighting again back in the Summer of 2022. However, Fury had immigration issues that derailed the match, yet again. Now, they are set to fight each other on February 26th in Saudi Arabia, which should put an end to all of the logistical problems. Now, they can both settle their differences, once and for all.

Overall, both of these fighters are undefeated. Moreover, they both have a lot to prove. Some feel like Jake is a fake fighter, while others see Tommy Fury as nothing more than a Love Island contestant. This means that both men will be motivated to change the narratives around themselves. In an interview with TMZ, Fury made it very clear what his objective is. Simply put, he wants to injure Jake Paul, and he wants to do so quite badly.

Tommy Fury Is Confident

“My message to Jake Paul is good luck and I hope you’ve trained and I hope you got an ambulance on speed dial because you’re gonna need it,” Fury said. “This is all that’s been in my mind for the past two and a half, three years because I’m a professional, legitimate fighter, and my name has been lingering with Jake Paul for quite some time now and Jake Paul is not on my level.” Jake would certainly disagree with this as he sees himself as a real fighter. Furthermore, Paul has made it known that he wants to go after real belts. However, the only way he can do so is if he gets past Fury.

With this fight going down in just three more weeks, there is a ton of anticipation being built. Fans have waited a very long time to see this match go down, and it promises to be one for the ages. Although, if you are a boxing purist who hates Jake Paul, you are probably hoping for a Fury win. Let us know who you think is going to win, down in the comments below. Jake Paul Snaps At Bomani Jones: Watch

Jake Paul has had a very interesting foray into the boxing world. For the most part, fans have been skeptical about his ability. However, he has proven that he can hang with the best of them. Throughout his first few matches, he has already defeated Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley twice, and Anderson Silva. Additionally, he has wins against Aneson Gib and Nate Robinson, although they barely count. Moving forward, Paul has plans to fight against none other than Tommy Fury. This match is set to go down on February 26th and it should be a lot of fun.

Overall, this is a huge match for Jake. This is because Paul has yet to actually fight someone who made their name in boxing. Fury is the first trained boxer he has fought, and there is a lot riding on this. If for some reason Jake loses, then his entire appeal as a fighter could be in jeopardy. However, Paul is still extremely confident that he can win. Ultimately, it will come down to his performance on the night of the fight.

Jake Paul Is Upset

Ahead of his fight, Paul is looking to do some media engagements. Recently, he appeared on Game Theory which is hosted by Bomani Jones. Jones is a reporter who is not afraid to ask tough questions. Consequently, that is exactly what he did while Paul was on his show. In the clip above, you can see Jones ask Paul what he thinks will happen if he loses. After all, why will people care if he’s no longer undefeated? Well, Jake Paul did not like that question and snapped at Bomani, saying “I don’t know who the f–k you are.”

This is easily one of the worst answers to can hit back with. Furthermore, it was made even worse when Jones told Paul that he only knows of him because people don’t like him very much. Overall, it was one of those exchanges that will not do Paul any favors. However, Paul probably got off the Zoom call and forgot about what was said immediately. At the end of the day, he has a fight to train for and if he spends too much time with the media, he will simply lose momentum.
