Latto Dishes On Wardrobe Malfunction And Most Nervous Performance

Even experienced performers can get nervous performing and even celebrities can get nervous in front of other celebs. Latto proved this in a recent appearance on Cut‘s Truth or Drink show with her sister. During the interview, she dishes out answers to one saucy question after another. She confirms she’s in a relationship without confirming who her man actually is. She also admitted that she’s kissed a girl before, but opted to take a drink instead of confessing whether or not she’s hooked up with someone famous before. Perhaps most notably, she confessed which of her performances made her the most nervous.

“Oh, my god. Oh, my god. Clive Davis,” Latto said after being asked when she’s had the most nerves. The legendary record producer hosts a notorious Grammy pre-show party every year which often features the industry’s biggest names. It was too many famous people in there. I had just seen Cardi B. It was legends. And I had a wardrobe malfunction,” Latto explains. “My whole crotch ripped open,” she elaborates.

Latto Takes On The Grammys Pre-Show

Latto bringing up Cardi B as a celebrity she was nervous to perform for is good timing. The pair just linked up on a new remix of Latto’s song “Put It On Da Floor.” The resulting song, titled “Put It On Da Floor Again” sees the pair linking up for a series of fire verses. Another moment when the two were brought up together is after Latto’s recent comments about female rappers. She said women in hip-hop were the “most disrespected,” a sentiment that immediately reminded any fans of comments Cardi has made in the past.

It’s the most recent song in what’s been a pretty busy 2023 for Latto so far musically. She started the year with the release of “Lottery” alongside LU KALA. She followed that up with a guest verse on the Mello Buckzz single “Boom Pt. 2.” She’s also dealt with ongoing rumors that her secret man might be 21 Savage. As recently as last month fans were still speculating on a potential relationship between the two. Tell us what you think of Latto and her sister’s interview in the comments below.

Maino On Tupac: “Nobody Spoke To The Black Male Experience Like He Did”

In a recent interview, Maino spoke on Tupac’s impact and how he was able to speak to the black male experience like no other. He told Shirley Ju, “He was able to put the feelings and the emotions of being a young n***a trapped, you know, in and out of jail, being in the streets.” “Dealing with confrontations and conflicts with other black males,” he continued, “you know hustling and getting money, dealing with death of your homies and prison.” Maino says, “He spoke to [the black male experience] like no other, still even to this day I don’t think nobody speaks to that experience like him.”

Tupac received additional praise today, when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Various other Tupac supporters have shared how they feel as though he should have received a star sooner. “It took them 25 years + to give Tupac a star on Hollywood Blvd?” YG asked. “Y’all got him f****ed all the way up.Boosie Badazz added, “Don’t worry he saying F**K YALL from the Grave.” Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, said “This iconic artist has continued to be part of the zeitgeist for decades after his passing and will continue to be an important cultural figure for many years to come,” ahead of the ceremony.

Maino Says Nobody Does It Like Tupac

Maino also recently shared his thoughts on Ja Morant’s behavior. Morant was suspended from the Memphis Grizzlies in May, following an incident where he flashed a gun on Instagram Live. Maino says the behavior has nothing to do with rap, claiming that Morant just needs to learn from his mistakes. He told TMZ, “All of us — as men, as adults — we have responsibilities and decisions to make. That’s like when keeping it real goes all the way wrong. How real do you need to keep it?”

Maino went on to say, “We know you like the music, you come from a culture. But homie, truth be told, you got way more opportunity than the average person. Don’t throw the opportunity away trying to keep up with what’s going on.” “It’s sad but sometimes we gotta learn the hard way,” he added, “What else can you say? You already was in this situation. I’m the last person to try to condemn somebody for making mistakes because I’ve made many, but c’mon, it’s not even about being a role model…you have the opportunity to change lives.”

Boosie Calls DMX The Best Live Show He’s Seen

Boosie revealed another emotional experience he had recently, when his son told him he didn’t want a Boosie fade. He shared the tragedy with The Breakfast Club earlier this month, saying, “This is my time, bro. When you go back to school, when you go back out of town, you do what you want. But this is my time. When you get 18, do what the f*ck you want.” He continued, “But when you come for the summer – my two months – have enough respect for me to come as you are. Show your daddy that respect for what I put into this f*cking family. Bro, I cried. When I saw his hair, I cried. It hurt me so bad, bro.”

Boosie Badazz got vulnerable again recently, when he spoke to VladTV about masturbating on a plane. “It was a long plane ride. My d*ck get hard on the plane too,” he revealed, “Go jack off in the bathroom. I dun did it before. Go jack off in the bathroom. F*cking right I did.”

Tyler, The Creator Hates Seeing Top Five Rapper Lists

Pretty much anywhere rap music is discussed, fans are debating about who is the best around. From making a Mount Rushmore of rappers to just a simple top-five list of either living rapper or of all time, there are plenty of ways that this discussion manifests. Even though plenty of those lists include Tyler, The Creator, he isn’t a fan of the whole concept. In a new interview on the Rap Radar Podcast Tyler made it clear that he doesn’t like “Rap Twitter” or the idea that there’s any kind of objectively best rapper.

“You know what annoys me? When people are like, ‘This is my top five,’ and people argue it. You got 17-year-olds like, ‘Yeah, dude, Ready To Die and Enter The Wu-Tang is my top ten albums ever,’” Tyler rants. He goes on to say he thinks that fans are only pretending to appreciate those albums to generate clout in various online circles where they’re respected. He continues “It’s performative. Again, some people might be right, but … you got YoungBoys and Baby’s out here and that’s your favorite album?”

Tyler, The Creator Take Aim At Rap Twitter

Tyler, The Creator recently brushed shoulders with someone whose name often appears in best rapper lists, Kendrick Lamar. Tyler makes a cameo appearance in the music video for Kendrick and Baby Keem’s recent collaboration “The Hillbillies.” He also recently announced the return of his Flog Gnaw Music Festival which hasn’t happened since 2019. The festival’s 2023 edition doesn’t have a full lineup confirmed yet but it’s set to take place in November.

Earlier this year Tyler dropped a deluxe edition of his 2021 album Call Me If You Get Lost. The reissue featured the fan-favorite single “DOGTOOTH.” It also featured an A$AP Rocky collaboration that was long rumored to exist from the original album’s sessions. Tyler guested on two singles last year including Pharrell and 21 Savage track “Cash In Cash Out.” He also joined Pharrell again alongside Nigo, Gunna, A$AP Rocky, Pop Smoke, and Pusha T in the song “I Know NIGO.” Tell us your take on Tyler’s comments about top 5 rapper lists in the comments below.

Benny The Butcher Explains How Jay-Z Collab Fell Apart

For almost any artist a collaboration with Jay-Z would be a big deal and Benny The Butcher is no different. The Griselda rapper came tantalizingly close to making a song with Jay-Z, but it ended up falling through. In 2019 Benny signed a management deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and the rapper gave him some advice. “He was basically just telling me … basically trying to keep Griselda together,” Benny said in an interview at the time. He seems to have taken Jay’s advice as he continues to frequently collaborate with fellow Griselda members Westside Gunn and Conway The Machine.

In a new interview with Joe Budden, Benny goes into more detail on how a planned collab between him and Jay-Z ultimately fell through. “They hit me and was like, ‘Hov got an idea of a song he wanted you to do.” Benny flies out and ends up waiting for days to hear back about the planned collaboration. “And then the day that I linked up with him, I’m just kicking it with him and we having drinks and sh*t and he didn’t mention the song.” But once the idea of the song finally arrives, something comes up that grabs all of Jay’s attention. “And as soon as he said that, somebody was like, ‘Yo, we need you,’ and they called him over, and he left and it never got brought up again. This like, two, three years ago.”

Benny The Butcher Missed Out On Jay-Z Song

While this story took place a few years ago, clearly its a missed opportunity that Benny The Butcher still thinks about. It hasn’t stopped Benny from prolifically releasing music though. He has a number of projects under his belt in the past few years, most recently 2022’s Tana Talk 4. If this story sounds familiar, its because Benny recently told a similar story of a Drake collab that didn’t pan out.

Thankfully, Benny The Butcher was able to pull off a J. Cole feature. That resulted in Benny’s most well-known song “Johnny P’s Caddy.” He recently reflected on the track in a different conversation with Joe Budden. Tell us what you think a potential Benny and Jay-Z collab might have sounded like in the comments below.

Chance The Rapper Gives Fans Update On New Album

It’s been 4 years since Chance The Rapper’s last album, 2019’s The Big Day. In the meantime, Chance has dropped some music of his own and appeared on some other artist’s songs. But what fans have really been waiting for is a new album and while Chance not much is known about the project besides its name fans just got another update. The album, titled Star Line Gallery doesn’t have a release date yet but Chance is already building anticipation.

In an interview with Audacy, Chance described the album as “one of my proudest projects in terms of writing and artistic vision.” Chance was also sure to temper the expectations of fans dying to know when they can hear the record. “There’s an immense amount of work to be done with it.” Finally, Chance spoke on how much he enjoys showing off the process of writing the album through his art pieces. “I feel like with the love and intentionality that goes into making each physical art piece gives me an opportunity to show people in these museum spaces what I’m working on as I go, the highs and the lows, kind of like a preview to the project.”

This year is the 10th anniversary of Chance’s breakout album Acid Rap and he’s playing shows to celebrate. Fans were also involved when he asked them what songs they wanted to hear during the Acid Rap shows. He also got plenty of laughs during a late-night TV appearance where he discussed his kid’s TV habits. The most viral moment came when Chance said he wanted to collaborate with Peppa Pig.

While Chance has been pretty quiet musically in 2023 so far, last year he released a number of singles. Which ones may eventually end up on Star Line Gallery or when the album will actually drop is still unclear. Let us know if you’re excited about a new Chance album in the comments below.

Shaggy Reveals The Real Meaning Of “It Wasn’t Me”

Shaggy’s 2000 song “It Wasn’t Me” has stuck with fans for more than two decades since it was originally released. In fact, the singer still gets asked about the song quite often in interviews. Just last year he spoke on one of the major influences for the track. In a recent interview with People, the song came up again and Shaggy clarified some of the meaning behind it.

Fans of the song were surprised to hear that the track is actually against cheating, despite what the lyrics have led many to believe. “It was a big misconception with that song because that song is not a cheating song. It’s an anti-cheating song. It’s just that nobody listened to the record to the end,” Shaggy clarified. This isn’t the first time he’s had to supply this explanation either. “No one ever really buys into that, and I keep explaining it to people. Then, they go listen to it back and be like, ‘Oh dude, I totally missed that.’”

This wouldn’t be the first time that Shaggy has had to clarify things recently either. Last year he addressed long-circulated rumors that he had turned down a chance to feature on Rihanna’s long-awaited next album. He explained that the situation was more complicated than it originally seemed. It turns out that scheduling conflicts got in the way more than any artistic differences. That explanation came after the story had repeatedly been altered and revitalized by various outlets.

Shaggy has stayed busy musically even decades into his career. Just last month Shaggy dropped his first-ever EP “In The Mood” which followed his album “Come Fly Wid Me” from last year. Shaggy’s 2019 album “44/876” won a Grammy for Best Reggae Album, his second win and first since 1996. Let us know what you think of Shaggy clarifying the original meaning behind “It Wasn’t Me” in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the music world.

50 Cent Took Down A Snitch In Front Of J. Lo

Producer Cory Rooney recently gave fans a blast from the past, sharing an incident involving 50 Cent. He told BagFuel an old story of 50 Cent getting into it with a man he believed snitched on his friend, Prince Markie Dee, for straying from his girlfriend. Rooney has frequently worked alongside J. Lo and signed 50 Cent in the ’90s.

Rooney begins, “We’re at the Hit Factory, and I’m with Jennifer in the studio. 50 shows up that day, and he got the dude with him. So he comes to me and he’s like, ‘Yo, where Mark at?’ I said, ‘I don’t know.’ He says, ‘Call him on the phone.’ So, I put him on the phone, 50’s like, ‘Ay yo listen, I got this n***a here right now, so wassup, tell me what happened.’”

50 Cent Stuck Up For Prince Markie Dee

Rooney continued the story, “The dude was looking around, and he put Mark on speaker, and the dude was saying, ‘Nah, that’s not what happened.’ So after awhile, 50 was looking at him and says he’ll call Mark back. And then, 50 starts pounding this dude, and Jennifer is like, ‘Oh my God.’ She started screaming. Then I told him, ‘Take the n***a outside.’”

Earlier this week, 50 Cent took to Instagram to share his thoughts on Bill Cosby’s recent lawsuit from former Playboy bunny, Victoria Valentino. Valentino alleges in her lawsuit that Cosby drugged her and a friend in the late ’60s, leading to a nonconsensual sexual experience. 50 Cent commented publicly, “They are just doing Bill dirty, smh ain’t no way 54 years ago. Lmao this is just fvcked up Brody!” Cosby and his legal team deny the allegations. The rapper also recently revealed that his highly-anticipated upcoming tour could potentially be his last. He called the tour a  “final lap,” adding, “I won’t be running around like this no more. I gotta do my film and television stuff and got a lot of other things going on behind the scenes that I gotta work on. So I won’t be out touring as much as I’ve been touring… I’m having fun this time because it’s set up to enjoy myself, we not feeling pressure.”

Moneybagg Yo Claims He Is Worth More Than The Reported $4 Million

Moneybagg Yo is making big claims about his worth. The rapper has refuted his reported net worth of $4 million on Google. Furthermore, he claims that he earns nearly $200,000 per show. During an interview on the Complex show 360 With Speedy Morgan, the Memphis artist expressed his disagreement with the Google estimation. He questioned the basis on which net worth is calculated. He then indicated that it may be derived from taxable income. Moneybagg Yo confidently stated that he made more than $4 million last year. As evidence, he cited a specific instance where he received $200,000 for a single performance.

“I made way more than that last year,” Moneybagg said. “For one performance, I got $200,000 before. This when I first went up and was like, ‘$200,000 a show, it’s what it is.’ Ya’ll set the standard. I’m still a hustler, I’m a street n*gga at the end of the day so I understand business, too. So it’s like, everybody ain’t got the $200,000. I ain’t going no less than $150,000. We’re going to make it happen.” Whether or not Moneybagg’s claims are true, it wouldn’t be surprising. There are likely many off-the-books payments in the industry. However, the rapper didn’t want to give too much information on the matter. You can see the interview below.

Moneybagg Opens Up About His Relationship With Ari Fletcher

In recent interviews, Moneybagg Yo has been open about his personal journey as a musician and in his relationships. He admitted to cheating on Ari Fletcher, his partner. However, he also expressed his commitment to making amends. In a discussion with Angie Martinez on her IRL podcast, he acknowledged his mistakes and poor decisions. Bagg attributed them to his upbringing and environment in Memphis. He went on to describe the relationship as new and challenging. Still, he emphasized that he deeply values Fletcher’s support and understanding. Moneybagg Yo apologized sincerely and expressed gratitude for her willingness to work through the difficulties they faced.

“It’s so new to me. It’s a big transition so of course I made some mistakes,” Moneybagg said. “You already know what I’m getting at with that. She ain’t take that well.” The rapper is referring to the cheating, of course. “I really come from a pure place when I say that. I apologized and I just wanted to work through it and get through it and she wit it and she helping me work through it,” he continued. “That’s why I rock with her so tough because it’s like … when I broke it all the way down to her, she understood me fully.” It sounds like, even with mistakes made, Moneybagg Yo and Ari Fletcher have a healthy and communicative relationship. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest updates.

Boosie Badazz Cried Over Son Not Wanting A “Boosie Fade”

Boosie Badazz has been doing interview after interview in recent months. Just earlier today, he spoke out once again on the 6ix9ine gym attack. The rapper continues to align himself against 6ix9ine, but surprisingly, he has some positive words for the controversial rapper. Boosie has expressed his willingness to donate money to GoFundMe campaigns that were set up to help cover the legal expenses of the individuals who attacked 6ix9ine. It is worth noting that the rapper frequently refers to 6ix9ine as a “rat” and has been critical of him in the past. During an interview with DJ Vlad released on June 2, DJ Vlad informed Boosie about the existence of crowdfunding pages for the attackers, suggesting that he could contribute to them. To everyone’s surprise, Boosie responded with affirmation, stating, “I will, I will.” When pressed further, he elaborated on his perspective.

Boosie believes that the attackers serve an important role in holding accountable those who betray others and cause harm to families. He expressed his concern about the negative impact that “rats” have on people’s lives, particularly in terms of separating fathers and mothers from their children. The rapper emphasized the need for consequences for such actions. However, despite his criticisms, Boosie stated that he appreciated the way 6ix9ine handled the situation, commending him for facing the consequences with courage. While the rapper’s stance against 6ix9ine remains unchanged, his willingness to support the attackers financially demonstrates his belief in the importance of holding individuals accountable for their actions.

Boosie Got Emotional Over His Son’s Hair

In another interview Boosie did recently, he spoke about his son’s hair. Apparently, the rapper’s child did not want a “Boosie fade” anymore. Sadly, that appears to be a capital crime in the Boosie Badazz household. During his interview with The Breakfast Club, the hosts tried to have a lighthearted conversation bout it. Boosie, however, seemed to take it extremely seriously. “We have a choice to make this summer. You either cut it or you stay home,” Boosie said.

The rapper continued as the hosts listened intently, seemingly unsure if he was joking. “This is my time, bro. When you go back to school, when you go back out of town, you do what you want. But this is my time. When you get 18, do what the f*ck you want,” Boosie continued. “But when you come for the summer – my two months – have enough respect for me to come as you are. Show your daddy that respect for what I put into this f*cking family. Bro, I cried. When I saw his hair, I cried. It hurt me so bad, bro.” It seems like Boosie takes his son’s hair very seriously. What do you think about his comments? Sound off in the comments below!
