GloRilla & Saweetie Have A Sweet Interaction At The Billboard Women In Music Awards: Watch

I think most people can agree that competition, as well as friendships in hip-hop are both good for the genre. Not having enough of each could lower the attention it gets. Both add a sense of fascination, keeping fans hooked outside of the music itself. However, talking about beefs can be a little disheartening. There is already so much hate in this world, and seeing artists argue over insignificant things (most of the time) is frustrating. However, we are happy to say that GloRilla and Saweetie are two female rappers that are still friends. It seems there is a lot of animosity with a majority of the femcees, so seeing them still close is nice. GloRilla and Saweetie both popped out to the Billboard Women in Music Awards and rekindled their relationship.

The celebration of women’s contributions in music continued on Wednesday, March 6, marking its 17th anniversary. According to Billboard, it was available to watch on livestream one day later. Of course, like any award show, there is a red carpet portion of the evening and GloRilla and Saweetie took that time to catch up. They hugged it out and chatted for a minute and fans were happy to see them be so cordial with one another. “She said Saweetie was the first celebrity to reach out and give her, her flowers when she was coming up look at you winning,” one person says. Another adds, “Saweetie is really a girl’s girl I love her and love Glo!” While they still have not made music together, both are popping off right now with “Yeah Glo!” and “Richtivities.”

T.I. Gracefully Reacts To Awkward Fan Encounter: Watch

As one of the biggest rappers out of the South for over twenty years, T.I. knows a thing or two about how to handle awkward fan interactions. One recent clip has fans particularly praising his gracious and polite nature, despite not liking what a fan was doing. Moreover, the Atlanta trap pioneer and community advocate was recently filmed chopping it up with some fans, speaking to one in particular about an upcoming project he’s shooting and editing that he might need some help with. Then, another fan approached him and asked if he could rap for him, to which he responded with a simple “No” before accepting his request for a picture.

Not only that, but T.I. also asked the fan to lower his arm off his shoulder, remarking he doesn’t like that before smiling for the camera as if he had just laughed at a joke. It’s at least impressive to see just how fast he can change on a dime. Of course, the 43-year-old has such a storied career that fans have plenty of reasons to want to engage with him for. There’s his classic established catalog, and then his mentor-like historical perspective on the current rap landscape, commenting on a lot of current trends, events, and evolutions in hip-hop.

But it’s always fun to look back at the journey to the present, right? Bow Wow recently reflected on how T.I. helped him craft his third album, 2003’s Unleashed. “This is before the King album, this is before A.T.L., this is young Tip,” he shared. “Me and Tip wrote that third album together with my man R.O.C. Me and Tip really kicked it. We had moments, especially in the studio. Him giving me that freedom, him teaching me how to write. Cadence, bars, song structure, just everything.

Drake Shares Wholesome Moment With Fan As He Walks Out On Tour

As one of the biggest artists in the world, many might think that Drake is too far removed from the everyday world to relate to his massive fanbase. Still, he’s proven time and time again that he’s very grateful for the support they show him. As such, the 6 God will often take the time to thank his fans, greet them, or gift them with amazing experiences or one-on-one moments. For example, he popped out to say hello to a group of fans waiting overnight to get wristbands to one of his “It’s All A Blur” tour stops with 21 S*vage. In addition, there’s all the viral moments, interaction antics, and more that he gets up to within the venue doors.

For example, a recent clip shows Drake walking out through the stands, making his way to the stage to start his show with “Champagne Poetry.” Moreover, a fan captured a moment where they saw Drizzy approach them down the stairs, and they shot their shot. In the clip, you can see the fan give him what looks like a piece of paper, and the 36-year-old raises it as a “thank you.” What’s more is that, when the fan outstretched their hand with their fingers forming half a heart symbol, he completed it by putting his hand up to theirs.

As small as this moment may be, it means a lot to fans who never in a million years would’ve thought they’d have such a moment with a superstar.
