Megan Thee Stallion Spotted Celebrating Her Birthday

Classy, bougie and ratchet Megan Thee Stallion celebrated her 28th birthday on February 15th. The Aquarius rapper was spotted out on her b-day in a ridiculously gorgeous orange, yellow, and black printed body-con dress. Surprised Megan humbly reacted to her secret birthday celebration, captured on video by DJ Akademiks. Despite recent news circulating around Megan’s current legal battles, this hot girl has a lot to celebrate this year. The 3-time Grammy award-winning artist recently made history as the first black woman to be featured on the cover of Forbes. Her cover commemorates her recognition on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in 2019. Megan reflected in the interview, “I’ll take a break when I’m dead. I’m trying to really build something.”

Just a year ago on Meg’s 27th birthday, she announced the launch of her philanthropic endeavor, the Pete and Thomas Foundation. The “Hot Girl Summer” rapper has been known for her charitable actions over her years in the spotlight. Meg has focused on giving back to the Houston community and helping others achieve higher education goals. She herself has prioritized education, and even with a successful music career under wraps, obtained a degree in health administration.

Meg Surprised By Friends

This year, Meg’s entourage surprised her with an intimate dinner, and from DJ Akademiks’s clip, it’s easy to see she was showered with love. But even with the rapid growth of her career over the last 4 years, Megan still has faced unfortunate circumstances that have been made especially apparent in 2023. With continuing legal troubles between the hit-maker and her current label, Roc Nation, Megan still is struggling with her lawsuit. She remains under Roc Nation’s contract despite the deal falling below industry standards. Additionally, Megan has slyly hinted at the ending of her 2-year relationship with Pardison Fontaine, who she unfollowed last week. Making matters even more complicated is the rampant apologies Meg has received in recent weeks from celebrities who spoke poorly of her during the Tory Lanez shooting controversy.

All in all, Megan is a tough cookie who has rightfully earned her spot as a top-charting artist today. We’re sure the 28 will conspire incredible new steps in Meg’s career, based on her hard work and dedication to the game. Rihanna Claps Back After Calling Her Son “Fine”

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are on pace to welcome baby #2 but only this week have they given fans a real glimpse at their firstborn. The couple welcomed their first child in May 2022, though they tried to keep the news under wraps. Rih and Rocky only confirmed the news days later. As should be expected, the paparazzi have been all over the couple trying to get the first glimpse of their son. Finally, Rihanna handled the big reveal through the launch of a TikTok page before the paps had a chance to ruin the moment.

Still, Rihanna and Rocky have been quite protective of their newborn as a celebrity couple. During a recent interview with British Vogue, Rihanna explained that she never wanted to introduce her son to the world through the tabloids. “We get to decide as parents when and how we do that. End of story,” she wrote. “We’ve been protecting him thus far and you don’t have any consent to be posting photos or selling photos of my child, a minor. Get the hell out of here with that.”

Rihanna Faces Backlash For Calling Her Son “Fine”

The cover story included photos of Rihanna, her son, and A$AP Rocky as a family, and it certainly had people talking. Some of the photos showed Rocky holding the baby as Rihanna held his hand and walked in front of him. Then, she shared a photo of herself leaning next to her son on a bed. “My son so fine! Idc idc idc!” she captioned the photo, which many fans felt was an odd way to describe her son.

As expected the criticism piled on in her comment section. Plenty of people criticized her for calling her son “fine, including one commenter, who asked, “Who calls a baby fine?” to which Rihanna responded, “his mother!” However, the best clap back came after a fan stated that her son “is not a grown man.” Rihanna shut them down completely, writing, “you just keep you lil cougar paws away from him and we good!” Rihanna isn’t playing any games when it comes to her son. Check out the post above.

Jhené Aiko & Big Sean Dine With Their Baby, Noah, On Valentine’s Day

Jhené Aiko and Big Sean spent Valentine’s Day out to dinner with their baby, Noah. The three of them shared photos from the night out on Sean’s Instagram Story. Sean can be seen rocking a white button-down shirt while Aiko wore a black dress.

The couple welcomed their first child back on November 8, 2022. Announcing Noah’s birth on Instagram, afterward, Sean wrote: “After 24 hours of Labor, A Lunar Eclipse, with rain from the beginning of labor til he was born, he’s here safe and sound. Happy, Healthy and everything we could ever ask for and more. Any and everything for you Son.”

Jhené Aiko & Big Sean’s Valentine’s Day

Last month, Big Sean shared a video on TikTok of himself and Aiko singing Big Sean’s 2015 single “I Know,” to their son. “I know you’ve been runnin’ on empty,” Sean begins, before Aiko joins in and adds to the lyrics, “Don’t love the same, I know you’ve been diving through pain / I know you runnin’ so crazy, I know you runnin’ on empty / That shit can fuck with your mental / I know this s**t, don’t you tempt me, I know you.”

While focusing on their family, Sean and Aiko have been mostly quiet on the music front. Back in February 2022, Sean confirmed that they were working on another project together as Twenty88. “I’m here working on [a] new album and new TWENTY88, me and Jhené,” the Detroit rapper said on Instagram Live. “Shit, we’ve been working on it for a little bit… It’s coming along good, though.” Sean and Aiko released their self-titled debut studio album as Twenty88 back in 2016. The album peaked at number five on the Billboard 200. Sean also addressed working on a sequel to the project during a 2020 appearance on Ebro In The Morning. “Yeah, I hope so,” he said at the time, when asked whether they’ve got plans for a second album. “Collabing with [Jhené] is like one of the easiest things ever, you know? When we both are in a mood, you know? ‘Cause when you in a relationship, too, sometimes you can be irritated with each other.”

Rihanna Shares Picture Of Her Baby Following British Vogue Photoshoot

Rihanna has shared a photo of her “perfect baby” on Instagram after appearing on the latest cover of British Vogue with the child she shares with A$AP Rocky. Rocky and Rihanna welcomed their son in May 2022 and confirmed earlier this week that they are expecting a second baby. The announcement came shortly after Rihanna’s 2023 Super Bowl halftime show performance. It was her first live show in seven years.

Rihanna spoke about parenting with Rocky during her interview for Vogue. “We’re best friends with a baby,” she said of their relationship. Rihanna added that they have always been “on the same page” throughout their time together. “Everything changes when you have a baby but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything but made us closer,” she added.

Rihanna’s Post

Tons of celebrities commented on the singer’s post. “Beautiful! Biggest blessing! GOD DID !!!!!” wrote DJ Khaled. Kash Doll added: “He’s so beautiful u had to double back huh rih.” Others to leave responses include Coi Leray, BIA, and more.

“I’m just sitting on the sidelines when they’re together,” Rihanna told Vogue of the baby’s connection with Rocky. “I’m literally the girl trying to get into the boys club, waiting for my turn. He is obsessed with his father. And I’m like: ‘Didn’t I give birth to you? What is going on?’ Their connection is undeniable. The second Rocky makes eye contact with him he is on fire. The whole thing they say about sons and moms, it’s a myth. Sons and fathers is crazy. I realized that the validation that you really need as a boy is from your father.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Rihanna discussed her next album, admitting that she wants to drop it this year. “I want it to be this year,” Rihanna told the outlet. “Like, honestly, it’d be ridiculous if it’s not this year. But I just want to have fun. I just want to make music and make videos.” She added: “I realized that if I keep waiting until this feels right and perfect and better, maybe it’s going to keep taking forever and maybe it’ll never come out and no, I’m not down to that.”

Kendall Jenner Called Out For Bad Photoshop Job

The Kardashian/Jenner clan is no stranger to backlash. Most recently, the family’s runway model is facing accusations of photoshopping a bikini photo. The internet was quick to catch Kendall Jenner’s overly-sized hand in a picture of her showing off an emerald green thong. According to Page Six, this isn’t the first time the fashionista has been caught overly touching up her posts. A mirror selfie in red lingerie gone wrong had trigged similar reactions from upset fans, who immediately noticed the difference in her waist size compared to a paparazzi photo.

Those closest to Jenner didn’t even bat an eye to the drastic hand size showcased in her post. Kris Jenner commented, “you are perfect” and Addison Rae added “my favorite post of yours ever.” Fans, on the other hand, were not having it. Some users compared the photoshop proportions to an “AI hand,” while others were not afraid to just point out how “suspicious” the photo looked. One user blatantly stated, “edits [went] wrong in the fourth pic.”

Jenner Draws Suspicion With “Wild” Hand

Jenner hasn’t directly responded to these photoshop accusations but has made her stance clear when it comes to body image concerns. She tweeted in 2021, “i am an extremely lucky girl. appreciative of all that i have. but i want you to know i have bad days too and that i hear you! you are beautiful just the way you are!!! it’s not always as perfect as it may seem.” Some may argue how photoshopping hinders this era of body positivity, however, the supermodel seems unfazed.

Unsurprisingly, Jenner isn’t the only family member who has gotten heat for excessive photo touch-ups. Kim and Khloe have also been under fire for unrecognizable image-transforming posts. Kim even has admitted to replacing Kylie’s daughter Stormi with Khloe’s baby True in a photoshopped post of her at Disney. Evidently, this family has advanced photo editing skills! But while photoshop may contribute negatively towards body image standards, the Kardashian-Jenner family still has built themselves a loyal following. The whole gang has been confirmed for the third season of The Kardashians dropping on Hulu this year.

Jaden Smith Concerns Fans After Breaking Down In Tears In IG Video

Jaden Smith has been rather lowkey in recent times. The son of Will and Jada Smith hasn’t dropped much music over the past few years. In 2021, he dropped off CTV3: Day Tripper’s Edition which he appears to be pushing. Though he dropped a few singles since then, he hit the road with Justin Bieber on the Justice tour but for the most part, it appears that his efforts have been focused on film and television endeavors.

Smith’s landed some prominent roles in recent times, largely connected to Kid Cudi. He appeared in the documentary, A Man Named Cudi. Later on, he did voiceover work in Netflix’s Entergalactic as BMX star Jordan. Then, he landed a role in the remake of Disney’s Proud Family. Whether he makes a full pivot towards television hasn’t been made clear but it doesn’t seem like he’s willing to slow down any of his other ventures in the near future, including music.

Jaden Smith Sheds Tears In Latest Instagram Post

Jaden Smith hit the ‘Gram this week but his latest post appeared to alarm fans. As “Cabin Fever from the Hill” played in the background, Smith shed tears as he stands on what appeared to be a ranch. “I Love My Fans I Love Our Journeys This Family is Our Fortress,” he wrote in the caption the short video on his Instagram page. “I Should write something about emotions and how they’re okay or whatever but honestly I just found this video in my phone. Still In Love Video In My Bio,” he added.

Though it seemed to be a promotional post for his latest video off of CTV3: Day Tripper’s Edition, fans expressed their concern and showed their support for him in the comment section of the post. One fan pointed out how Jaden’s post and the reactions that followed highlight the stigmas surrounding showing emotion, especially among men. Many applauded Smith for showing his emotions on a public platform. Check out the music video for CTV3: Day Tripper’s Edition “Still In Love” below and sound off with your thoughts on Jaden Smith’s recent Instagram post in the comment section.

Trippie Redd Reveals To Wack 100 Why He Paints His Nails

An easily overlooked trend has taken over the rap scene in recent years: rappers painting their nails. From A$AP Rocky to NBA YoungBoy, even to Kid Cudi, many top charting artists have turned to nail polish to add flare to their look. Additionally, Trippie Redd is amongst the men following this rockstar-esque beauty trend, and he spoke out about why he does it. His response was triggered based on an Instagram post by veteran music manager Wack 100. In the post, Wack asked for clarity on this trend.

By no means was Wack attacking rappers who wear colors on their nails. According to HipHopDX, he respectfully clarified where he was coming from. “To to the youngsters out there, I’m hearing something about emo and all this other shit. Can y’all leave a comment down below on what the fingernail polish represent?” he continued, “because of some of the youngsters I mentioned that I know, I don’t think it means it that [they’re feminine]. I just think it’s another type of movement.” Furthermore, Wack explained where his confusion remained. He emphasized on how he’s a “’70s baby” whose trends included wearing only one earring and sagging pants. Additionally, he described how these movements were often looked down on by older generations, similar to how nail polish on rappers is perceived now.

Trippie’s Method Of Self Care

The post had attracted the attention of Trippie, who took to the comment section to respond. Trippie responded simply: “It’s a way of expressing ur feelings, being true to your self and self-care.” The 23-year-old rapper has rocked many different nail art looks over the years, including smiley faces, an homage to 2Pac, and a go-to classic matte black.

Wack’s question hasn’t been the only time where rappers wearing nail polish has been questioned. In fact, Soulja Boy took a more aggressive stance on the matter when he attacked rappers for painting their nails and wearing lipstick. He urged these men to “stop playing,” and claimed he would never do such a thing. The Chicago rapper’s rant rubbed NBA YoungBoy the wrong way, and his response revealed that his feelings were hurt. Previously, YoungBoy had explained his own reasonings for decorating his body, explaining that “I like to look in the mirror and see everything black. Like my eyes and shit. That’s one hundred percent real! That’s me being myself. I feel comfortable that way … It give me like the goth feeling, like rockstars.”

Fly Ty provided the update on Nicki on his Instagram Story, Tuesday, writing that the move will be “so big for Queens.” He also shared a tweet of Nicki’s from 2015, in which the rapper gives a shout-out to Fly Ty.

Queens n****z and it’s all hoodies.”

Fly Ty’s Update

Many fans reacted with excitement in the comments section. One wrote: “Whatever it is, pls make it fast, I really miss Nicki.” Others complained about Fly Ty making his behind the scene business with Nicki public: “Why every time someone communicates with Nicki they gotta make it known… Like learn to keep it to yourself. This why she be changing her mind about plans.”

Minaj is currently gearing up for the release of her fifth studio album. She recently confirmed that it will be released “soon” during an interview with i-D. “The fifth album,” she began. “I’m not gonna say when it’s gonna come out, but the album will be out soon. And I am working on a nail design company, where people will be able to buy my press-on nail with dope designs. I was already working on that before someone auctioned my press-on nail for $50,000 or whatever they spent on it.” Nicki’s next album will be her first since 2018’s Queen.

Nicki’s fifth studio album will arrive after Billboard recently labeled the Queens artist the greatest female rapper of all time. The outlet cited her “genre-bending albums” and “killer guest verses” as demonstrating her legendary ability. Nicki is also one of only a dozen artists to have more than 100 entries on the Billboard Hot 100.

Gunna Appears To Laugh Off Video Of Fans Allegedly Spotting Him In A Mall

Gunna’s career might not be the same after he was released from prison. The ATL rapper faced a significant setback in his career after copping an Alford plea in the YSL RICO case. Though he dodged significant time behind bars, it came at the cost of support from the hip-hop community. It’s a 180 from last year around this time when he had the world at the palm of his hands with the release of DS4EVER, which ultimately outperformed The Weeknd’s Dawn FM in the second week.

In the past two months since his release, it became evident that fans felt as though Gunna threw Young Thug under the bus. The rapper shared his first Instagram post following his release, leading to members of the YSL camp, like Lil GotIt, and fans to put him on blast. He didn’t respond to people calling him a rat but it looks like this type of criticism is inevitable at this point. Whether online or in real life, a lot of fans don’t seem willing to forgive Gunna for copping a plea while Thugger remains behind bars.

Gunna Laughs It Off

This morning, footage emerged of fans allegedly spotting Gunna at a mall surrounded by security. As he finished shopping, a number of people spotted him and called him out. Some called him a rat while others pestered him about the case. However, the individual managed to cover his face and leave the scene before anything escalated. Mind you, it hasn’t been confirmed that it’s Gunna in the video but many took it and ran with it.

Still, it seems as though he isn’t stressing about it too much. The rapper took to Instagram post shortly after the video grabbed headlines and appeared to respond. He shared three laughing emojis on his Instagram Story without elaborating beyond that. Though he could be laughing at anything, the timing of it all suggests that he’s responding to the video. Perhaps, it wasn’t actually Gunna in the video in the first place. However, it seems that Gunna won’t be able to escape the hassling from fans at any point in the near future. Peep his post above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.
