Drea De Matteo Reveals How OnlyFans Saved Her House

Drea De Matteo was played one of the most beloved characters on The Sopranos. Adrianna was the girlfriend of Christopher Moltisanti and the two were iconic despite also being incredibly toxic. Overall, her character remains a fan-favorite, and whenever there are Sopranos conventions, you can expect to see women cosplaying as her. Unfortunately, in recent years, De Matteo has found it difficult to find work. Consequently, she struggled financially and was even at risk of losing her home.

However, her life changed for the better back in August when she joined OnlyFans. Initially, fans gave her a ton of flack for the decision. Regardless, De Matteo kept pushing forward and has completely changed her financial outlook thanks to her decision. In an interview with Fox Business, she revealed how OnlyFans saved her from foreclosing on her home. “I was surprised that I was able to save my home as quickly as I did,” De Matteo said. “So, my advice to all the young ladies out there, not the young ones — I want the young ones to do other things first. The old ones. All the old ladies out there, you know, bet on yourself, man.”

Joining OnlyFans is a big decision. Although as De Matteo notes, it was a now or never situation given what was going on with her finances. “I wasn’t going to sit around and wait for my manager or for somebody to try and land me a job that I needed to get in order to take care of what needed to be taken care of. I was losing my home,” she explained. “So, that surprised me — now that I’m not very popular on social media these days.”

When Will Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign’s ‘Vultures 2’ Come Out On Spotify?

Normally, on New Music Friday, new albums will be available on DSPs like Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal at 9 pm PT or midnight ET. However’ Kanye West’s album releases are usually anything but normal. This Friday, March 8, he’s supposedly releasing Vultures 2, his joint album with Ty Dolla Sign, after turning the original Vultures into a three-album project last month (which was also when he revealed its new release date).

You might not want to plan on staying up to check out the new project, though. After all, Kanye hasn’t released a single project “on time” in the streaming era, and the rollout for Vultures has been anything but smooth. An initial release date in December was pushed back — without advance notice or much explanation from Mr. West — then pushed back again a few weeks later.

After announcing his three-part plans for the reimagined Vultures, Kanye did manage to meet his self-imposed deadline for Vultures 1, but it was released several hours after midnight to the chagrin of his most loyal fans. Even then, there were problems; on Spotify, the album is missing a song due to a copyright infringement complaint from the estate of Donna Summer, while the album isn’t even available on Apple Music after its distributor claimed West had pushed it through via a third party after his partnership offer was rejected.

That means Vultures 2 may not even hit any DSPs unless West and Ty have another trick up their sleeves. However, Vultures 1 managed to debut at the top of the Billboard 200 despite its issues, so don’t be surprised if FUGA changes its tune — after all, like the man said, cash rules everything.

Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, And Jill Scott Will Headline The 2024 Strength Of A Woman Festival

Uproxx attended Mary J. Blige’s inaugural Strength Of A Woman Festival in 2022. The 2024 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame nominee explained how the event came to be, telling Uproxx, “It was something that just came to us — like, why don’t we do this? Because when we go to the Essence Festival, people are like, ‘I’m going to see Mary.’ So, we’re like, ‘Hmm, well, let me just get my own festival and have everyone come to that festival every year.’”

People will have another opportunity to see Blige at the 2024 Strength Of A Woman Festival And Summit presented by Queen of Hip-Hop Soul and Pepsi in partnership with Live Nation Urban.

“Good Morning NYC!” Blige captioned her Instagram announcement. “We’re proud to present the 2024 Strength Of A Woman Festival And Summit in partnership with @livenationurban. Our purpose is to empower, educate and elevate on May 10-12, Mother’s Day Weekend in New York, NY for the first time. I can’t wait to see you there!”

The 2024 musical lineup features 50 Cent, Jill Scott, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Muni Long, Lola Brooke, and Funk Flex. As per the press release, the weekend will wrap “with a Gospel Brunch, hosted by Mary J. Blige, and Gospel Concert headlined by The Clark Sisters with Femme It Forward.” Pepsi will also bring food by local Black female restaurateurs to the fan experience through Pepsi Dig In—a platform designed to provide visibility, resources, and awareness to Black restaurateurs.

Pre-sale tickets are available now here, and the general sale is scheduled for Friday, March 8, at 10 a.m. ET.

“I’m so excited to bring our Strength Of A Woman Festival And Summit to my hometown, New York City, a place that has always been a huge source of inspiration for me,” Blige said in a statement. “Having the opportunity to continue to uplift, inspire, and build within my community is the reason I created this festival. I’m so grateful for all the support from our performers, attendees, and, of course, our partners, Live Nation Urban and Pepsi. Nobody does it like New York, so get ready.”

When Will Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign’s ‘Vultures 2’ Come Out On Apple Music?

In January, Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign announced that their joint project Vultures had been reimagined as three complete albums after several delays to the original release. At the time, they gave three new release dates: February 9, March 8, and April 5. With the first part out already and the second part scheduled for release this New Music Friday, when can fans expect it to hit DSPs like Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal?

With most releases, the answer would be 9 pm PT or midnight ET tonight, but with Kanye West, release dates are more like vague suggestions than hard deadlines. Fans watched the first Vultures release date come and go in December without a hint of the new album, with Kanye insinuating that it might have been Nicki Minaj’s fault for not clearing a verse he asked for at the last minute. A second release date in late December also disappointed fans — but didn’t surprise them — and the third release date, the aforementioned February 9, also nearly passed without the album coming out.

However, while Kanye did manage to get the album out on the day (if not at the expected time), it was not without issues. The album was pulled from Apple Music by its distributor, FUGA, which issued a statement claiming that Kanye had only gotten the album through its service through skullduggery and that it was working with DSPs to have it removed entirely. While it’s still available on Spotify, the song “Good (Don’t Die)” was removed after Donna Summer’s estate filed a lawsuit for copyright infringement over an authorized interpolation of her song “I Feel Love.”

So, Vultures 2 might not even come to Apple Music, unless Kanye has a contingency plan, and even if it does, it almost certainly won’t be at midnight. The rest remains to be seen.

Why Are Tyla’s Tour Dates For 2024 Canceled?

Tyla made a new Instagram post today (March 7) where she announced that she would be canceling her tour dates for 2024. She was originally supposed to perform shows in Europe starting later this month, before heading to do a leg in North America, in support of her upcoming self-titled album.

“It’s hard having to turn down opportunities you’ve been waiting your whole life for but God has his plan,” she wrote in the Instagram caption.

Tyla opened up in a statement on social media that she canceled her tour due to an injury that she hasn’t healed from. While she didn’t share exactly what happened, it does sound like a serious issue that needs to be dealt with.

“For the past year I’ve been silently suffering with an injury that has tragically worsened,” she wrote. “I’ve seen doctors and specialists with high hopes, but the pain has only become more agonizing as has the severity of the situation.”

“I am absolutely heartbroken to have to say this but as of right now I won’t be able to proceed with the tour,” she wrote. “In consulting with medical professionals, it’s become increasingly clear that continuing any festival or tour dates would jeopardize my long-term health and safety.”

The Game Weighs In On Ne-Yo’s Two Girlfriends

“They both look like they say ‘spit in my mouth,’” he wrote. “I’m here for it [crying face emoji].” This isn’t the first time The Game shared his thoughts on a fellow artist’s unconventional relationship, however. Back in January, he chimed in after Chrisean Rock debuted her massive tattoo of Blueface’s mugshot, which she got on the side of her face. He joked that he’d be down to see himself in ink on a partner, even offering up his own mugshot for the taking. “Here go my mugshot if you need it bae 😉 It’s on me if she pull up,” he wrote.

He later shared a photo of the controversial tattoo on his Instagram Story along with a clever caption. “Her: Am I your baby? Me: Are you 🤔,” he joked at the time. Kylie Jenner is the youngest of her sisters, but that hasn’t stopped her from amassing a net worth most can only dream of. Not only does the mother of two occasionally appear on the family’s reality show (which she’s been a part of since childhood), but she also has several brands, including Kylie Cosmetics, Skin, and Baby who’ve launched countless products over the years to help amass her fortune. As Daily Mail reports, Jenner’s attorneys trademarked her name for dozens of items in June 2019. Among them were “spirits; liquor; wine; alcoholic cocktail mixes; prepared alcoholic cocktail and prepared wine cocktails.” Interestingly, it wasn’t until February 2023 when an application for Sprinter, her new hard seltzer line came in. As the outlet notes, this is being perceived as a direct shot at her baby daddy, Travis Scott, who’s planning to re-launch his Cacti drinks later this month.

La Flame filed a trademark for his hard beverage in June 2020 and launched it in March 2021, amid his relationship with Jenner. Following backlash from that year’s Astroworld Festival Tragedy, production ceased, leaving fans thirsty for more. Cacti 2.0 is arriving on shelves on March 15, not long before his ex’s Sprinter drinks will go on sale (March 21). “Kylie ripped his idea plain and simple,” a source, allegedly close to Scott, told the outlet.
