It’s becoming increasingly important to give the rap game’s legends their flowers, as the artists who helped shape hip-hop culture deserve utmost appreciation for their contributions. In the case of Jay-Z, lofty praise has become the norm, to the point where many have all but accepted the New York rapper as the indisputable GOAT. Yet somehow, it still feels like Jay’s legacy doesn’t get the respect it deserves; not only is he rap’s first billionaire, who continues to line his portfolio with major money moves, but he also holds a top-tier discography to his name.

Following the news that Jay-Z had secured a partnership with Moët Hennessy designed to elevate the status of his own Armand de Brignac champagne, Kevin Hart took a moment to celebrate Hov on his own Instagram page. “Giving my brother his well deserved flowers….Screaming congrats HOV….Keep raising the bar and paving the way King!!!!! We see you and we salute you!!!! Let’s gooooooooo,” writes Hart, alongside a picture of a bottle-happy Hov. “With great risk comes great rewards….My guy believed in himself and it paid off. I fucking love it!!!!!”

Clearly, Kevin Hart appreciates the way Jay-Z carries himself, a leader by example forever focused on self-elevation. It also doesn’t hurt that the pair are buddies, having experienced a few interesting interactions throughout the years. You’d think that Boosie Badazz might have found some type of way to filter his words but nope, that isn’t the case. The “Nasty Nasty” rapper has found himself under fire on numerous occasions over the past year or so. In fact, it’s become so common, it’s never a shock to wake up in the morning to find his name trending on Twitter.

You might recall the comments he made about Dwyane Wade’s daughter last year inside of a Planet Fitness that caused an enormous amount of outrage. He remained unapologetic about what he said, even after Mike Tyson confronted him about it on his podcast. And then Tyson sat down with Vlad where he explained that tension in the room could’ve led to violence between his daughter and Boosie.

The rapper apparently didn’t feel the same way about the situation. During a recent interview with Vlad, Boosie explained that he and Tyson’s daughter exchanged questions and answers but the famed boxer also gave Boosie a prior warning. “I ain’t feel like it’ll get violent. First, he wasn’t going to let her interview me,” Boosie said. “He was like, ‘My daughter wanna ask you some questions.’ I said, ‘Bring her in here,’ you know, I’m full of answers for questions,” he continued, downplaying the hostility in the room. “She asked me questions, I asked her questions. She said what she had to say, I said what I had to say. Like, that’s me, man.”

Vlad mentioned that Tyson said he was worried during that interview because he thought his daughter would’ve got physical and then he would’ve had to jump in. “We would’ve shot the fuck outta Mike Tyson,” he said with a laugh.

Kanye West has a lot on his plate right now, although he is still taking some time to work on new sneakers with his Yeezy brand. There are some big plans for Yeezy on the table in 2021, and sneakerheads have been excited to see what Kanye will continue to produce. While some old classics will continue to get new colorways, it seems as though Kanye will also be putting a ton of stock into new silhouettes. 

One of those silhouettes is the futuristic-looking Adidas Yeezy 1020, which can be found below. These photos provided by GOAT showcase a boot that comes with a ton of traction on the bottom, while the sneaker is covered in two different shades of orange, all while beige goes up the middle. These sneakers can be taken on and off with a zipper, which is a fairly unique system for a Yeezy shoe. Overall, these are a change of pace from Kanye’s usual designs, and it’s a welcome one at that.

Wack 100 doesn’t think that Tekashi 6ix9ine is a snitch, per se. Instead, he believes that the Brooklyn rapper should have never been allowed into a position where he had so much information on the Nine Trey Gangster Bloods, referring to him as a “civilian” and saying that civilians don’t snitch, “they tell the truth”.

The remarks were made during Wack 100’s latest interview with Bootleg Kev on his podcast. The outspoken man, best known for managing the careers of The Game and Blueface, spoke about his incoming Meek Mill diss track, telling the interviewer that he has “mixed feelings” about 6ix9ine and the fact that he’s commonly referred to as a snitch.

“I got mixed feelings on [6ix9ine]. He did what he did but on the same note, he should have never been in a position to do what he did,” said Wack. “This thing we got in the streets it ain’t for everybody. It’s not a free-for-all, it ain’t like Magic Mountain where you show up, buy a ticket, and get in. There’s certain things you got to go through, certain things that have to be proven before somebody is allowed to come in. The fact that [the gang] allowed him to come in and him being inside of it is what gave him information. […] He should have never had the information that he had when he got put under that light.  Everything ain’t for everybody. And I really think he was in character the whole time. He was using the block for his street cred. Everything about the kid defies what he said he was.”

Wack 100 goes on to say that he believes 6ix9ine has a “death wish” and that he should never have been in a spot to receive so much information.

“They let the kid hear things that was going on behind his back,” he said. “They put this kid in a situation he shouldn’t have been in. What he did was, he just went back to who he really was. He took the costume off. So I got mixed emotions when we call this kid a snitch because I believe civilians don’t snitch, they tell the truth. He did what he did and I believe, even right now today, he uses what he does as a marketing tool because he has no obligation to the politics of the streets. He has none. He don’t care how it goes. He’s just a little kid playing and doodling and it’s allowed. They’re allowing it to happen. I think he got a death wish. I think he wanna go out a martyr one day.”
