Keyshia Cole Tributes TLC’s Left Eye On Late Rapper’s Birthday: “Beautiful Soul!”

There are plenty of stories of how deeply Keyshia Cole is tied to Hip Hop history. The Bay Area songbird has been in the industry for decades, but before she was known for her reality television shows or hit records, the word is she was running things as a teen over at Death Row—that is according to the label’s producer Kurt Kobane. Keyshia has spoken about her friendship with Tupac Shakur and dealings she had with other artists during that era, and she shared a sweet story while wishing Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes a happy birthday.

It was a fateful day in April 2002 when the world learned that the beloved TLC rapper had lost her life in a tragic car crash while visiting Honduras. There have been several conspiracy theories spread about Left Eye’s death, but Keyshia took a moment to reflect on happier times.

“I remember when I was dead ass broke, you came, and gave all the cash you had,” Keyshia shared in a tweet alongside a photo of Lopes. “Even let me braid your hair, (back when I braided hair) days. We Share similar tattoos… never told that side of things. But you will always hold a place in my [red heart emoji] beautiful soul! [present emoji] HBD boo!”

Dior Air Jordan 1 Could Receive “Chicago” & “Royal” Colorways

One of the most hyped up sneaker collabs in recent history was the Dior Air Jordan 1. This white and grey colorway with Dior branding plastered throughout was a huge hit amongst sneakerheads and it proved to be a collectors item that was almost impossible to get ahold of. Now, pairs are selling for over $10,000 on the resale market and if you missed the boat on a pair, then chances are you will never get these, unless you win the lottery.

Luckily, it would appear as though the Dior Air Jordan 1 collaboration could be making a comeback. According to Mr Unloved1s on Twitter, there are rumblings that two iconic colorways could be coming to this collab. The two offerings in question are the “Chicago” model and the “Royal” makeup. From there, we could even get an all-white model which should prove to be interesting.

It remains to be seen whether or not these collaborations will actually be hitting the market, although if you were a fan of the first Dior Jordan 1, you can’t help but be excited about the prospect of even more models.

With these rumors now in the air, keep it locked to HNHH for all of the latest updates concerning the Dior Air Jordan 1.

Renni Rucci Denies Stealing Bars From Amy Luciani, Latto Chimes In

There’s an entire meltdown happening on social media involving Renni Rucci and a rapper named Amy Luciani, but somehow, Latto got herself involved in the drama. Earlier today (May 28), news began to circulate that Luciani called out Renni Rucci for allegedly stealing her bars. Not only were comparisons made from the songs in question, but it was also obvious that someone lifted lyrics from somebody because the two ladies were spiting the same bars.

“When you the ‘lil dog’ female rapper they try to play with you like you a small fry not knowing soon imma be THE BIGGEST!” wrote Luciani. “Mark my word and it’s gonna feel great. Anybody that goes to the studio with me will tell you I study the greatest lyricist in hip hop. I love lyrics & bars.”

“How do you block a person who has you blocked ? Cause I can’t even search goofy name to block her cause I’m blocked,” Luciani stated elsewhere. “How you block me cause I spoke up about YOU stealing my rap verse? You literally took my entire verse and dropped a music video. I wanna join the petty party too!” However, Renni Rucci responded by dismissing the allegations, saying that they “both happened to get the same reference,” but the public, and Latto, didn’t believe her.

Previously, Latto and Rucci went at it over Latto calling herself “The Biggest,” and Rucci even released a diss track. “Shoulda stole some bars for that weak ass diss song she made,” Latter penned over on her Instagram Story. Rucci retorted, “Girl keep it cute and on mute like you did when the diss dropped you needed another b*tch to speak on me to say something [crying laughing emojis] i can’t stand a b*tch that need a crew to be tough.”

Latto wasn’t quite finished. “How ima respond when idk who wrote it?” the Queen of Da Souf rapper joked. “U gone have me dissing Amy [balling tears emoji].” Check it all out below, but swipe on the first post to compare the two set of lyrics.

Kodak Black Offers Extended Live Performance Of New Song “Oracle”

Kodak Black came through with his latest album, Haitian Boy Kodak, just two weeks ago and it has consistently received praise from his day one fans. Kodak is an artist who has evolved over the years and with each new release, he looks to enhance his artistry and deliver something new. Kodak has also been known for packing his emotions into his music, which was evident on the track “Oracle.” While this song is just shy of three minutes long, the artist has now turned it into an 8-minute epic thanks to his latest music video for the track.

As you can see above, Kodak is performing the song in front of a purple backdrop. In the background, we have one man on percussion, while another gentleman plays an electric guitar. There is a slow intimate feel to this performance, all while Kodak raps in a lowkey manner all while pouring his emotions into each and every line. It’s a dope performance and if you’re a Kodak fan, this is definitely a must-watch.

Usher & Jenn Goicoechea Expecting 2nd Child: “Another One”

They just welcomed their daughter into the world not long ago, but Usher and Jenn Goicoechea are ready for Baby No. 2. The singer has been hard at work preparing for his Las Vegas residency and a subsequent album that’s on the horizon, but Usher and his leading lady continue to expand their family. It was just in September when Usher and Jenn shared that Baby Sovereign Bo was born, and eight months later, they’ve announced their good news.

Yesterday (May 27) at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Jenn displayed her growing baby bump while on the red carpet. The couple’s latest addition will make Jenn’s second child and Usher’s fourth. He shares two sons, 12-year-old Naviyd and 13-year-old Usher V with ex-wife Tameka Foster.

Prior to delivering his news, Usher chatted with Extra earlier this week and explained the meaning behind his baby girl’s name. “So, Sovereign, man, is such a beautiful word and name to me, you know, a supreme ruler is obviously the defined name,” said the singer. “She’s definitely ruling the household, but Sovereign Bo — Bo is at the end of it, so [she’s] my little ‘reign-bo.'”

Smoove’L Displays Immense Confidence On Energetic New Single “GRIME”

Brooklyn artist Smoove’L has been making big moves over the last couple of years and fans have been eager to hear whatever he has in store for them. The Brooklyn drill movement continues to thrive and Smoove’L’s sound is one that resonates with younger listeners. These last few months have been a beacon of consistency for the artist and on Friday, he dropped a brand new track called “GRIME.”

With this track, the beat and the lyrics certainly help make this song live up to its name. Right from the get-go, Smoove’L gets unapologetically braggadocios and he doesn’t seem to mind if he offends anyone. From there, the artist talks that talk and it makes for one of those signature Brooklyn drill tracks that will make you want to get in the gym.

Check out the track below and let us know what you think, in the comments section.

Quotable Lyrics:

I go dumb on you bitches, facts (Facts)
I ain’t got feelings for none of you bitchеs (For none of you bitches)
That’s word to my mother, I’ma get it (I’ma get it, facts)
And all of that fuck shit, I’m with it (I’m with it, [?])
