Hitman Holla & Tee Grizzley Take It To The Streets On “Control Da Room”

Hitman Holla is a legend in the battle rap arena but like most within his field, he has had trouble crossing into being recording artist. Over the years, he’s released several singles highlighting his skill set as an MC, though it seems like, with his latest single, he’s aiming for much more. The rapper returned on Friday with his latest single, “Control Da Room” with Tee Grizzley. Eerie piano keys trickle through knocking 808s as Hitman Holla blasts through with gun talk. “Left the glocks at the crib, brought the FN in/ Ain’t gon be here for that long, I’m just steppin’ in,” he raps off the rip. Holla braggadocious bars as delivered with ease while Grizzley rides the beat with more boisterous energy.

Check out the latest from Hitman Holla below.

Quotable Lyrics
At the trenches, gas station in a 550
Can’t let n***as get the ups on me, I’m ridin’ with it
Talk to contractor, told him make the crib with five kitchens
We ain’t ’bout to be in this sleepin’, we whippin’ chickens, n***a

Yung Baby Tate Joins The Cast Of ‘Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta’ For Its 10th Season

After releasing the deluxe version of her acclaimed EP After The Rain and becoming a viral star with the video for her breakout hit “I Am,” Yung Baby Tate is now aiming to take over America’s televisions. The rising Atlanta star is joining the cast of the VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop for its 10th season, making the announcement with a tweet bearing a teaser featuring “I Am” and revealing the new season’s air date: Monday, June 5.

Tate, whose tales of romantic entanglements have formed the foundation of some of her standout projects like Boys and After The Rain, will join a cast that has included longtime mainstays Rasheeda, Karlie Redd, and Mimi Faust, as well as Atlanta rap veterans such as Lil Scrappy and Yung Joc. The New York iteration of the show previously helped turn Cardi B into a household name; perhaps Tate hopes that the added exposure will help do the same for her.

Yung Baby Tate is already thoroughly established in the entertainment world thanks to her links to Insecure creator Issa Rae — whose label Raedio put out After The Rain — and her string of well-received albums, mixtapes, and EPs, as well as her appearance on Dreamville’s “Don’t Hit Me Right Now.”

Yung Baby Tate is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Anthony Davis Offers Insight Into His Groin Injury

Anthony Davis dealt with a plethora of injuries this season and it is ultimately what led to the collapse of the Los Angeles Lakers. Prior to the playoffs, Davis was dealing with an injury to his calf and during the playoffs, he ended up pulling his groin. These are two injuries that Davis will need time to recover from and with the Lakers offseason officially under way, Davis will have ample time to get himself right heading into next year.

While speaking to reporters, AD gave some insight into his injury and what his next steps are. Essentially Davis will have his groin reevaluated and from there, he will be able to make an informed decision on what he should do next.

“I’m gonna talk to my trainer, Ish (Ishop), and see what their plan is. He’ll probably call me tomorrow and we’ll figure that out, but no I don’t (the exact timeline). They said before, when it first happened, that a 10-14 day injury is usually what it is with a Grade 1, so after tonight where I re-aggravated it, I don’t know if it will be another 14 (days) or whatever, but I’ll talk to him tomorrow and try to see what the plan is,” Davis said.

Davis is an integral part of this Lakers team and they are going to need him healthy if they want any shot at going out and winning the title. Hopefully, he’s able to get right and get back to the version of AD we saw back in 2020.

Robert Kraft Gifted New Bentley From Jay-Z, Meek Mill & Michael Rubin

Robert Kraft just turned 80 but he’s enjoying his special day with a luxurious new ride, courtesy of a few friends. The New England Patriots owner bought himself a new home recently so, Michael Rubin went to his home to surprise him with a brand new Bentley that he said was a gift from fellow REFORM Alliance members.

“That’s exactly what –” Kraft said, stunned by the gift as he gave Rubin a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. “This came from Meek and Jay and Will and Allen and Des,” Rubin responded.

Rubin pulled up to Kraft’s home where he surprised him with the blue Bentley along with a massive birthday card that reads, “Happy 80th Birthday Robert Kraft.” The inside reads, “Except you look 40 and act 25.” Kraft was absolutely shocked at the gesture, especially since the vehicle is apparently quite rare.

“How the fudge did you get it? ‘Cause we couldn’t get it,” Kraft asked Rubin who offered an incredibly vague response. “We got resources,” Rubin said.

Meek shared the footage to his Instagram page where he confirmed that he put in on the Bentley. “Drop top bent for Kraft,” he wrote along with several diamond emojis. “awwwwww lol hbd robert,” he added.

It definitely pays to have rich friends. Peep the full video below.

Luka Doncic Hints At His Future In Dallas

Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks were officially eliminated from the playoffs last night as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated them in a pivotal Game 7. The loss certainly was not Doncic’s fault as the team around him simply was not good enough to move on. Players like Kristaps Porzingis have been criticized for their play, while Doncic has been praised for carrying his team to a Game 7 that they had no business getting to.

This offseason, Doncic will have the ability to sign a $200 million supermax contract, and fans are hoping he says yes to the offer. In fact, ESPN reporter Tim MacMahon recently asked Doncic about the contract, and as you will see in the tweet below, Doncic gave a pretty obvious hint.

“I think you know the answer,” Doncic said slyly. Based on this answer, it seems pretty obvious that he does intend on signing the deal especially since Dallas has been so welcoming to him over the past few years. While his roster isn’t the best, Marc Cuban seems intent on bring in new players and if he gets Luka a second superstar, this team could very well be on its way to an NBA Finals appearance.

Stay tuned to HNHH as we will continue to bring you updates from the basketball world.

Polo G Does What Needed To Be Done Over DMX’s “Ruff Ryders Anthem” For His Latest L.A. Leakers Freestyle

Chicago rapper Polo G is on a mission to prove that he’s a Hall of Fame-tier talent, absolutely snapping over DMX’s “Ruff Ryders Anthem” instrumental during his second appearance on L.A. Leakers.

With a new album coming out in a few days, Polo Capalot wanted to show fans what sort of fire they should be expecting on his upcoming Hall Of Fame album. He stopped by L.A. Leakers to represent his city, eating up a classic beat and spitting non-stop fire, making for another stunning display of lyricism and off-the-dome creativity from one of the new school’s greatest young stars.

With so many people clowning Polo G for his love of piano beats on social media, this will be sure to silence the haters before Hall Of Fame drops. This is the furthest thing from a piano loop and, as you’ll likely agree, Polo completely dominated this three-minute display.

Watch his new freestyle below and stay tuned for Polo G’s new album this Friday.

Quotable Lyrics:

90s baby, so I come from Motorolas and them churches
Seen my uncle Mike servin’ Coca-Cola, whippin’ work
Man, R.I.P. Durb, I know he would want me on this beat
Get what I deserve, lately, I been goin’ on the street
Ain’t a homeless n***a on the curb hungrier than me
Gon’ pass the gang to my son like we Romeo and P

T.I. & Tiny Lock Themselves Down In Atlanta

T.I. and Tiny Harris will be sticking around Atlanta for a while longer. It was reported on Monday that a few months ago, before being accused of sexual assault by dozens of people, the couple bought a new mansion for $3.27 million on the Chattahoochee River.

The palace was purchased by T.I. and Tiny at the end of 2020, according to a report by TMZ. The gorgeous estate has seven bedrooms, ten bathrooms, and 14,000 square feet of living space. The private gated estate has a large pool, a spa, an outdoor fireplace, and a gym. There’s also a massage room, sauna, home theater, and wine cellar. When his kids want to stay over, T.I. can offer up the stunning guest house.

They reportedly spent just under $3.27 million on the new crib.

In recent news, T.I. and Tiny have both vehemently denied the accusations against them. Many women (and even a man) came forward to accuse the couple of sexual assault, rape, drugging, human trafficking, and more. Last week, T.I. laughed at Sabrina Peterson, the couple’s first accuser, who requested a public apology from the rapper. She suggested that she would drop her lawsuit against them if he came through, but Tip seemingly wants to take things to court. “An Apology???? [four laughing emojis] -Drako voice #WhatItsComeTo,” he wrote on Instagram.

Take a look at T.I. and Tiny’s new home at the link below and let us know what you think.
