Aaron Gordon Sends A Message Upon Arriving In Denver

Aaron Gordon was one of the players that many knew was going to be traded at the deadline. Just a couple of days prior to the deadline, Gordon reportedly requested a trade from the Orlando Magic, who were content with starting a bit of a rebuild. On Thursday, the Magic immediately trade Nikola Vucevic and then set their sights on Gordon. Eventually, Gordon was sent to the Denver Nuggets, who are a team that has all of the pieces in place to make a deep run in the playoffs.

According to reporter Mike Singer, Gordon recently made some interesting comments about his new role in Denver and the type of energy he plans to bring for the rest of the season. Needless to say, Gordon is extremely happy to be with a team that actually has a chance of winning a title.

“Being able to play meaningful games just allows me to go all out,” Gordon remarked. This should be great news for all of the Nuggets fans out there who are hoping for a repeat of last season, except with an NBA Finals appearance tacked on.

The Nuggets are a solid team right now and they have a lot of depth to work with when the going gets tough. At this point, Western Conference teams should be on notice.

Jack Harlow Celebrates Lou Williams Atlanta Trade Ahead Of ‘SNL’ Debut

Jack Harlow and newly traded Atlanta Hawks player Lou Williams stirred a bit of controversy last year when the athlete left the NBA Bubble to attend a funeral in his hometown. While in the A, he stopped by the coveted strip club/restaurant Magic City and snapped a photo with Harlow, raising discussions about whether or not Lou violated any NBA COVID-19 precautions. The rapper seems to have plenty of love for Williams, taking some time out to congratulate him on his recent trade as he prepares for his Saturday Night Live debut.

Following news of the trade on Thursday (March 25), the Louisville rapper reshared a post from Williams to his Instagram story of the pro-athlete recapping his time with the Los Angeles Clippers, before a second photo in the set showed the baller back in Atlanta Hawks gear. He even revealed he contemplated retirement before the trade went down.

“Yea, so I thought about retiring yesterday,” Williams captioned the post. “You give so much to an organization and you wake up and boom, it’s no more. Then in true clipper nation fashion I was reminded that my talent and contribution was appreciated and It made me reflect on what’s to come. There’s plenty left in my tank and I’m privileged to continue my career in my backyard. LA, thank you. Love you. Appreciate you. Great times and memories!!! ATL, LouWillVille. Mr. Williams, welcome home.”

Confirming their lasting friendship, the “What’s Poppin” rapper reposted the celebratory post via his own respective social media channel. Harlow is set to be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live tonight (March 27) alongside host Maya Rudolph. He also recently teased upcoming collabs with rap legends like Eminem, Jay-Z, and André 300, but held back on revealing who the special guest during his performance would be.

Trapboy Freddy Revamps A Dallas Classic On “Oakcliff” Ft. Yella Beezy & More

It’s been over 10 years since Hotboy Star and Young Nino set Dallas ablaze by putting on for their neighborhood with, “Oakcliff That’s My Hood.” The regional anthem continues to shut down clubs within the region to this day, though it never witnessed that much success outside of the Dallas area. This week, Trapboy Freddy revamped the record, along with some assistance from its originators, as well as Smurf Franklin and Yella Beezy. “Oakcliff” is essentially a modernized take of the record that brings some prominent figures from the area to revisit the classic song.

The song was so big that apparently, people from outside of the area began claiming Oakcliff. “They started a fucking movement with that shit, bro,” Yella Beezy explained on HNHH’s On The Come Up of the impact of “Oakcliff That’s My Hood.” “Like, n***as that weren’t even from Oak Cliff, they were claiming that. Like, you had to really ask people their address, and who they knew, and what school, or who they hung with. Like, you had to dig into it because everybody wanted to false claim Oak Cliff at this time, when that song came out, you know what I’m saying?”

Check the song out below.

DJ Megan Ryte Employs Kranium, Casanova, And Rich The Kid For “Fly”

On “Fly,” Kranium, Casanova, and Rich The Kid talk about being so obsessed with someone that you just have to fly them out for a baecation. The artists seem so blinded by love on the track that money doesn’t matter, rapping, “Baby, fly with me, yeah, everything nice / You can get what you want, don’t check the price.”

DJ Megan Ryte comes through on the track with a percussion-heavy, danceable beat, one that will inevitably become the sound of the summer as the weather gets warmer. Cardi B Denied A Rumor That Eminem Turned Down A Collaboration With Her: ‘This Don’t Even Make Sense’

Cardi B has been dealing with a heavy dose of negative comments recently, especially after her Grammy performance of “WAP” and “Up” that once again left conservatives up in arms. It hasn’t stopped her success, in fact, much of the criticism toward her comes as a result of her achievements, like “Up” recently becoming the fifth No. 1 single of her career.

Despite this, people still find a way to try and paint her in a bad light, including a rumor that she dismissed recently on Twitter. The artist responded to a claim that Eminem turned down a potential collaboration with Cardi because “she doesn’t care about the culture or her craft.” Once Cardi caught wind of the tweet, she quickly shut it down.

“I get off the internet and ya makin sh*t up,” she said. “I haven’t sent no songs to no artist yet. Love his work and much respect. This don’t even make sense.”

While the collaboration with Eminem isn’t one that’s been put in motion yet, Cardi did tease the existence of other songs with artists that have yet to be named. “Since they like to make up LIES about me cause their so obsessed just know this,” she added. “Y’all laughing about this fake rumor but wait until y’all see these next collars (winking emoji).”

Beyonce Had More Than $1 Million In Property Stolen From Storage Units In Multiple Heists

Earlier this month, Beyonce became the most-awarded singer in Grammy history after picking up four wins at the 2021 edition of the music awards. While that was certainly a high moment for her, it occurred around an unfortunate event with the singer’s belongings. On Saturday, TMZ revealed that Beyonce was robbed of more than $1 million worth of property from her storage unit after two heists earlier this month. Law enforcement told the publication that thieves went through multiple storage units in the Los Angeles area that were filled with various items the singer owned.

TMZ added that while the units were rented out by the singer’s production company, Parkwood Entertainment, the missing items from the first heist, which included expensive handbags and dresses, all belonged to Beyonce. Within a week of this first robbery, the thieves returned for a second time and went through three units in the same facility. This time, they took off with handbags, kids toys, and photos that were owned by one of Beyonce’s stylists. The “Black Parade” singer is not the only artist to recently have their things stolen from a storage unit. Earlier this year, Miley Cyrus lost clothes, family photos, and mementos after her storage space was robbed.

While Beyonce set some records of her own at this year’s Grammy Awards, she also had a hand in notable moments with other artists. With “Brown Skin Girl” winning Best Music Video, her daughter Blue Ivy, who appeared in the visual, became one of the youngest Grammy winners in history. Beyonce and Megan Thee Stallion also became the first female winners of the Best Rap Performance award thanks to “Savage.”
