A New Report Suggests Tucker Carlson May Have Voted For Kanye West In 2020, Not Trump

Tucker Carlson is one of the most visible supporters of Donald Trump on American cable television, but according to a report, not even the Fox News host could muster up a vote for Trump in November.

According to a Politico report, Carlson started telling people that he didn’t vote for Trump in the election the now-former president claims he won against all evidence. Instead, he apparently voted for, uh, Kanye West, seemingly as a way to differentiate himself from other Fox News hosts.

Shortly after the presidential election, the Fox News host started telling some program guests that he had cast his ballot for West, according to two people familiar with those conversations. Given Carlson’s fierce on-air commentary in favor of Trump, the guests were left wondering if Carlson was serious or merely joking.

“It’s his way of saying that he’s not just another Trumpette at Fox News like Sean Hannity,” one of the sources said, referring to Carlson’s fellow primetime opinion host and reputed internal rival.

Another source mentioned in the story said he mentioned his intentions before the election as well, citing that “he and Kanye get along” and have similarly restrictive views on reproductive rights. Despite all that, though, who Carlson voted for largely didn’t matter for a variety of reasons. As the story noted, Carlson votes in Florida, where West wasn’t officially on the ballot. That would mean he would have to write in West’s name, even if it ultimately wouldn’t count for much of anything other than bragging rights.

It’s unclear exactly who leaked this information and if it’s accurate, but from what we know about how Carlson himself is often the biggest source of information among people in Trumpworld, you can at least heavily infer where this kind of thing is coming from.

Suns forward Jae Crowder said that Beverley’s shove, which netted him an ejection, was the moment that he knew the team had broken the Clippers.

“We know they were broke. We know we broke them,” Crowder told reporters Wednesday. “There’s no better sign of defeat than during that moment. … Once we knew we got the game won, we knew at some point they would break. I think that’s basically what you saw. You saw a breaking point with one of their leaders in that locker room. And that’s a great feeling to have, especially in the playoffs, such a great feeling.”

A group of fans also got into a brawl in the stands during the game.

Are The Weeknd & Angelina Jolie Dating?

Fresh off his record-breaking Billboard run, his recent sweep at the Juno Awards, and the reveal that he’ll be working alongside the creator of “Euphoria” to write a new HBO show, The Weeknd is probably experiencing the best stage in his career so far, and thanks to a handful of Los Angeles photographers, things look like they’re probably about to get even better for the Canadian singer-songwriter.

According to Page SixAngelina Jolie and The Weeknd were both caught on camera while leaving Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles Wednesday evening, and fans have already begun speculating about whether or not the two celebrities were on a date at the high-end Italian eatery.

The report reveals that The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie were allegedly at Giorgio Baldi for hours, although they left separately as to not be photographed together, it’s a strong possibility that they linked up together during their visit to the restaurant. According to Page Six, Angelina and Abel’s meet-up could have been romantic, but it also could have simply been a Hollywood business meeting, considering The Weeknd’s new opportunity with HBO.

Do you think that it’s just a coincidence that the two celebrities spent the evening at the same restaurant and left around the same time? Or do you think there’s a romance brewing between The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie?

Kendrick Lamar’s “F*ck Your Ethnicity” Didn’t Just Set Up “Section.80,” It Set Up His Entire Career

Ten years ago, Kendrick Lamar unleashed his true debut album Section.80, although his classic major-label debut good kid, m.A.A.d city is often incorrectly referred to as such. Section.80, like most of Kendrick’s work, was a concept album that explored the story of Keisha and Tammy, and the 16-track project featured some of the Compton artist’s classic early songs, including “A.D.H.D,” “Rigamortis,” and “HiiiPoWeR.”

The album kicked off with the epic and cinematic track titled “F*ck Your Ethnicity,” in which Kendrick Lamar sets out to unite listeners through his music, despite their race and religion. By referencing Keisha and Tammy in the song’s opening monologue, “F*ck Your Ethnicity” dynamically sets up the concept of Section.80, but several years removed from the album, it’s clear that it was really setting up Kendrick Lamar’s prodigious career in Hip-Hop.

In the first verse of “F*ck Your Ethnicity,” Kendrick raps, “My details be retail, man, I got so much in store.” And 10 years later, he’s definitely proven himself right. Listen to the track below and give Section.80 a spin this weekend in honor of its 10-year anniversary.

Quotable Lyrics

Fire burning inside my eyes, this the music that saved my life
Y’all be calling it hip-hop, I be calling it hypnotize
Yeah, hypnotize, trapped my body, but freed my mind
What the f*ck are you fighting for? Ain’t nobody gon’ win that war
My details be retail, man, I got so much in store

Kevin Gates Reveals He First Started Rapping As An ‘Escape’ From Sexual Abuse He Faced As Child

Kevin Gates dropped his first official mixtape when he was in his early ’20s, but the rapper has been writing music long before that. He’s spoke about his childhood in various interviews in the past, but Gates recently revealed on Mike Tyson‘s podcast that he was sexually abused when he was young and began writing lyrics as an “escape” from his tumultuous childhood.

Gates began his conversation on Tyson’s Hotboxin’ podcast by addressing how growing up in a racist environment still affects him to this day. “It’s going to be a different type of interview because I’m going to tell the absolute truth,” he began. “It’s a real racist place, being in Louisiana, just being down south, period. And I’m still kind of breaking that stereotype in my mind. It’s a barrier.”

When asked about the path that led him to music, Gates revealed that he suffered sexual abuse as a child. Because he was coping with trauma, Gates turned to rapping as a creative outlet:

“It was an escape for me. I’m going to say something — I’ve never said this in no interview, no podcast or anything like that — I grew up real, real violent, aggressive. Not because I wanted to be, but I was molested when I was a child. So I had this fear of being vulnerable. I took every kind of martial art you can take. I even boxed, I did everything and I wanted to be the toughest person on earth. But writing and making music was always an escape for me. I never had the nuts to come out and say that. This is my first time saying that today.”

After opening up about his abusive childhood, Tyson responded with empathy. According to Complex, Tyson opened up about his own experience with childhood sexual abuse in 2014. “I know that route, too,” Tyson told Gates. “Why do you think I became the meanest motherfucker on the planet? Somebody did something to me. I didn’t want it to happen again, so I became this guy.”

Elsewhere in the 50-minute conversation, Gates spoke about his devotion to his Muslim faith and his relationship to his children. He also mentioned that he now lives on a blueberry farm and takes care of camels on the property, which he says is akin to having a pet dog.

Doja Cat Explains Why Fans Won’t Hear Her On Many Collaborations In The Future

After collaborating with artists like Ariana Grande and The Weeknd, Doja Cat seemingly has joint tracks down to a science. The songs she wrote with other artists were important in boosting her music. She even earned her first-ever No. 1 single for her Nicki Minaj “Say So” collaboration. But Doja Cat says collaborations can also hinder her artistry at a certain point, which is why her fans shouldn’t expect to hear her on many in the future.

Following up on her Planet Her album, Doja Cat sat down with Ebro Darden for Apple Music. During their conversation, Doja Cat explained that, going forward, she only wants to focus on career moves that give her energy.

“Sometimes I do stuff that maybe I don’t feel as excited about. I try not to do that, I do that maybe five, six percent of the time in my career,” she said. “But right now, I’m trying to do what I want to do for the most part. I want to really develop myself and not regret anything. I think I have to think more about what I’m doing now.”

Doja Cat continued that part of her artistic development includes focusing on her solo music and shying away from collaborations in the future:

“I like to say this a lot, but, Michael Jackson and Prince [were] not doing a lot of collabs all the time. They almost have no collabs. You look at that, and you’re like, they were doing fantastic without anybody. I like to, not compare myself — I definitely sound like I’m doing that but I’m not trying to — but that’s my bar. I want to focus on what is best for me. At this time and in this age, everybody is collabing. What happens is that things sound like mashups, like fan mashups. They’ll put Nick’s verse with Meg on ‘Kiss Me More’ or they’ll put my verse on ‘WAP’ or something. I don’t want it to feel like that anymore. I want it to feel very special, and very carefully done. So, I’m trying not to do as many collabs in the future. I think it’s important.”

Akbar V has pubically gone through a custody battle over her kids, and started beef with former friend Alexis Skyy after coming for her disabled daughter online. While the show runs on drama, many Love & Hip Hop fans feel Akbar has been taking it too far.
