WhokilledXIX Deliver A Glitchy Performance Of ‘Spy?’ For ‘UPROXX Sessions’

WhokilledXIX’s glitchy new single “Spy?” is currently a TikTok favorite, reaching Spotify’s Viral 50 USA chart and sparking interest in the experimental duo, so it’s only natural that’s the song they’d play in their first UPROXX Sessions appearance. The track’s a rebellious anthem dedicated to suburban teenage angst, with defiant lines decrying poseurs and praising individuality over conformity.

WhokilledXIX is described as an experimental rap duo from Connecticut consisting of “lifelong best friends” Yung Skayda and Karm The Tool. Their music has become a favorite of TikTok’s influencers like Lele Pons and Charli D’Amelio, with their December 2020 EP 19 spawning “Spy?” and generating buzz for their April 2021 EP Fall Damage. Embracing an anti-establishment punk image and harnessing the antsy, contrarian energy of the more edgy corners of their online haven, the duo was able to parlay their viral success into a label deal with Masked Records.

Chloe x Halle’s Chloe Bailey Readies Her Solo Music With A Steamy Teaser

R&B sister duo Chloe x Halle dropped their acclaimed sophomore album Ungodly Hour in 2020, an effort that catapulted them into the mainstream. Ever since, the duo have performed at awards shows, contributed to viral challenges, and even earned a cosign from Michelle Obama. But since Halle Bailey is currently in the UK filming her starring role in an upcoming live action remake of The Little Mermaid, Chloe Bailey is making music on her own.

In recent months, Chloe has passed the time without her sister by sharing soaring covers of some of her favorite musicians. She’s taken on songs by Rihanna, Silk Sonic, Nina Simone, Cardi B, and more. But in order to celebrate her 23rd birthday, Chloe is preparing to release an original solo single.

The singer teased her solo debut with a brief, steamy preview of the song’s video. It features Chloe’s swooning voice over a vocal sample saying, “Booty so big / Lord have mercy.” The video itself reflects the sample’s theme, with Chloe twerking on a bed as she fires off boastful lyrics.

Posting the teaser to Twitter, Chloe wrote, “this is 23… HAVE MERCY” alongside a peach emoji.

Tamar Braxton Open To Replacing Meghan McCain On “The View”

After the shocking news that Meghan McCain would be leaving The View after multiple seasons on the show, a fan suggested that Tamar Braxton would make the perfect replacement, and she’s actually considering it.

The star was previously a co-host on The Real from its premiere in 2013 until 2016. Tamar left the show after a mutual decision was made to part ways after differences with her co-stars Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, and Jeannie Mai Jenkins.

Meghan McCain’s decision came on Thursday morning’s show after years of live feuds with her co-hosts. Similar to Tamar’s experience on The Real, Meghan didn’t “think it was worth it anymore,” according to CNN.The remaining co-hosts on The View include Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Whoopi Goldberg.

Tamar saw the tagged tweet suggesting that she join the cast and she commented, “Tamar on the view?” to get some input from her followers.

One fan responded, “Nah it’s not time yet. Maybe when you’re older. Most def should be hosting on some kinda show just not The View yet. We wanna see you having fun on daytime tv.”

Tamar Braxton has emerged in a new light this year after a rough 2020 for the star, starting with her suicide attempt and ending with a messy breakup with her ex, David Adefeso. With the fate of her role on of Braxton Family Values pretty much settled, Tamar could thrive in a new position that aligns with her past experience in daytime TV.

Could you see Tamar as a member of The View?

R. Kelly Starts Trending In Light Of Bill Cosby’s Release From Prison

Bill Cosby’s release from prison has been one of the most sensational and controversial stories throughout this entire week. Numerous fans and celebrities, ranging from Phylicia Rashad to Boosie Badazz, have expressed excitement and joy for the disgraced comedian’s conviction being overturned, yet just as many people find it unacceptable that Cosby is once again a free man, including J.I.D. and Kid Cudi.

Then you have that subset of people who are solely concerned with getting their jokes off, and as a result, an entire corner of social media has been dedicated to Bill Cosby-related jokes. Earlier on Thursday, 50 Cent notably took part in making light of the Cosby situation, and now, several fans on Twitter have shifted their focus to R. Kelly.

Kelly and Bill Cosby so easily. From harmless jokes to full-on calls for R. Kelly’s freedom, check out some of the most entertaining Twitter reactions below.

Jeffree Star Says He’s Had Sex With Rappers & NBA Players: “The Sex Is Great”

After being falsely linked to Kanye West earlier this year, makeup mogul Jeffree Star is revealing some secrets about his sex life during a new episode of the BFFs Podcast. Hinting previously that he always gets DMs from rappers and athletes, Star claimed that he’s bedded a few of hip-hop’s biggest stars, as well as some professional ballers, on the podcast.

Making a controversial statement about his sex life with rappers and NBA players, the beauty blogger said, “A lot of NBA players and rappers [reach out] but I have a code where I’m never gonna out them. And a lot of them have threatened to murder me if I ever say their names. The sex is great, the names are invisible.”

For what it’s worth, Jeffree confirmed that he never hooked up with Kanye West, despite all of the rumors from a few months ago. However, he says he’s been with a few other rappers, which forces a few questions. Who are these so-called hookups that he’s been having? Given the fact that not many high-profile male rappers have come out as members of the LGBTQIA+ community, it seems as though some of our favorite artists have been hiding their true selves from the world.

He’s taking his secrets to the grave, but who do you think Jeffree Star is speaking about?

Claiming to have made a million dollars off of Jackboy before throwing $100,000 into the ocean and airing out their business-related drama, Kodak seemingly fell out with Jackboy, but the Florida rapper refuses to retaliate.

“I ain’t got shit bad to say about people,” said Jackboy during a recent live stream. “You ain’t gon’ get that from me… You ain’t gon’ have no video of me on YouTube. Nah, that’s my brother at the end of the day.”

As the world continues to comment on the feud between Kodak and his artist, Jackboy has released a brand new single and video called “Ten Toes Down,” speaking about his loyalty and how he’s not afraid of anybody. Listen to the new record below.

Massive Fight Breaks Out Between Fans During Game 6 Of Western Conference Finals

Fans got into a brawl during Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals, during which the Phoenix Suns clinched an NBA Finals appearance with a 130-103 blowout win over the Los Angeles Clippers. A viral video from the stands shows a group of spectators getting into a violent scrap.

Security could be seen escorting several fans out of the arena afterward.

Clippers writer Farbod Esnaashari says that the fan who sent him the video claims a Suns or Lakers fan started the fight.

“The guy who sent me this video said it was a Suns/Lakers fan but honestly pretty hard to tell when it’s a random dude in a black shirt,” he explained.

The fan brawl wasn’t the only physical altercation during Game 6. Clippers guard Patrick Beverley shoved Chris Paul, resulting in an ejection

Suns’ Jae Crowder was asked about Beverley after the game and said that was the moment they knew that they “broke” the Clippers.

“We know they were broke. We know we broke them,” Crowder told reporters Wednesday. “There’s no better sign of defeat than during that moment. … Once we knew we got the game won, we knew at some point they would break. I think that’s basically what you saw. You saw a breaking point with one of their leaders in that locker room. And that’s a great feeling to have, especially in the playoffs, such a great feeling.”

Chief Keef Shows Off His Beastly Growling Car

Chief Keef has been around for the last decade, so it’s astounding to consider that the influential Chicago rapper is only 25-years-old. Innovating the drill subgenre in Chicago, the “Don’t Like” rapper has quieted down in recent years. He still releases several projects per year, but they mostly don’t manage to create much buzz. This week, Sosa went viral though for showing off his Jeep Trackhawk, which has seemingly been customized with an engine that roars like a literal beast.

When you hear Chief Keef coming down the street, you’ll likely be sure to do a double-take because the rapper is rolling around in a pretty unique whip. Showing off his Jeep Trackhawk on his Instagram Stories, Keef patted his car while the engine revved and made beastly noises. People are saying that his car sounds like a monster or an angry dog. Listen to the video below and let us know what you think it sounds like.

Recently, pop star Billie Eilish explained that Chief Keef is one of her favorite artists, revealing that he’s a go-to choice whenever she goes to a karaoke spot. “I don’t even know if they have Chief Keef at karaoke bars, but I would request some Chief Keef,” she said. Read more about that here.
