Polo G is saying goodbye to his close friend B-Money following a fatal shooting in Chicago this weekend. There is presently a lot of speculation as to what happened during the lead-up to B-Money’s shooting, but Polo G has spoken out to eulogize his friend, sending love to his family.

“[heartbroken emojis] My Lil Brotha Man on Gucci I can’t see myself doin this shit w out you broski,” wrote Polo on Instagram. “Ik I’ll neva meet a n***a like u again one of the realest n***as I eva met in my life I always made sure I reminded u of that. you was The heart of the hood yk how to make a whole room smile couldn’t nobody stay mad around you. 

You was the very 1st n***a to eva show me support in this shit when wasn’t nobody stuntin this shìt fr u let me kno I could do it & had my back all the way my 1st shows my 1st videos the shit I 1st recorded u was the 1st to hear it dis shìt stretch all the way to the sandbox doe befo this rap shit We was Just Rockin stages & hoppin off jets broski shìt ain’t posed to b like this yk imma turn up fa u doe fasho I love u broski. just watch Ova me broski I got u man.”

When Nipsey Hussle passed away in 2019, it was a massive blow to the hip-hop world. The artist had built up quite the legacy for himself and he was beloved in the industry as an underdog who was able to become a voice for so many. His loss is still felt to this day, and every single year, fans make sure to honor him whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Yesterday was one of those times as it was Nip’s birthday. The artist would have turned 36 years old, and fans made sure to take to social media with various birthday wishes for the rapper. Nipsey was also honored by Lauren London, who has been a beacon of strength since his passing. In the Instagram post below, London professed her love for Nipsey while wishing him the happiest of birthdays.

London’s post truly speaks to just how much Nipsey was beloved by those closest to him. He made a huge impact while he was here, and his music will continue to live on for decades to come.

Young Thug is celebrating his birthday this week, holding an important one over the weekend as he has officially hit the big 3-0. He was welcomed to the club with a sweet message from his friend, and “Solid” collaborator, Drake, who took time out of his day to wish the Slime God a happy birthday.

“More life for Jeffrey,” wrote Drake on Instagram Stories, sharing a picture of the eccentric rapper. “@thuggerthugger1 Curry Year,” he continued, making a reference to one of his favorite hoopers, Stephen Curry.

Jay-Z is one of the biggest artists in the world and over the last decade, he has turned his empire into a billion-dollar undertaking. The artist has strategic partnerships with the likes of Jack Dorsey and Michael Rubin, so it is no surprise that he is always looking to create new ventures that will bring him even more generational wealth for his family.

Recently, it was revealed that Jay-Z has bought his way into Rubin’s Fanatics company which is one of the biggest suppliers of sports merchandise in the entire world. According to TMZ, Jay and Rubin are now looking to turn that partnership into a Sportsbook empire as they have applied for a  sports betting license in the state of New York.

New York State is looking to approve two Sportsbooks right now, and various big names like FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars Sportsbook and WynnBET are all trying to get a slice of the pie. Now, Jay and Rubin will have to contend with these juggernauts although considering his status in New York, there is no doubt he could very well have an advantage with this new venture.

Future and Brittni Mealy, the mother of his eight-year-old son, are in the midst of a fiery social media feud, which recently reached a new level. After Brittni called out Future for allegedly texting their son that she’s a “hoe,” the two started selling competing merch to make some money off of their popular drama. The latest layer of their beef has officially been unveiled now, and it’s just as messy as the first chapter.

Over the weekend, Brittni shared audio of Future allegedly speaking to her about his other baby mama, Joie Chavis. It’s unclear if he was being recorded against his knowledge.

“I don’t look at her the same way like that. I don’t look at Joie the same way that I look at you,” he seemingly told Brittni. “Me and Joie have always been friends, super cool, me and her just always been super cool to the point where we still could be cool right now. I don’t look at her like someone I love. I never loved her like that. She know that I never loved her. I never told her, ‘I love you.’ But we had a good ass friendship. I ain’t never tell her I love her like I love you.”

Shortly after she posted the audio files, Britt’s page was deactivated, and she is seemingly claiming that Future had a hand in taking her page down. She followed up with a second message.

“Not my intention to bring no one else into it.. I don’t have an issue with her the thing is he wanna be even more petty and get my business page deactivated you do something to me I’m do something back,” she said. “Just sending a warning to leave me alone! Simple!”

Patrick Beverley has consistently been one of the better defensive guards in the NBA over the last few years and while playing for the Los Angeles Clippers, he has been an absolute menace. While some players hate going up against him, his teammates have always loved him for his energy and everything that he brings to the table on a nightly basis. 

Interestingly enough, Beverley, Rajon Rondo, and Daniel Oturu were all traded to the Memphis Grizzlies last night in exchange for Eric Bledsoe. This is a trade that raised some eyebrows as many felt like the Clippers got worse. Regardless, fans were waiting on Beverley’s response to all this, especially since he’s known for always repping the Clippers with pride.

In the end, Beverley was very accepting of this trade and it’s clear that he wants to make the best out of this new situation. While taking to Twitter, Beverley simply wrote “Grit and Grind. Let’s GO.” While this move might not be ideal for Beverley, he will now get to play with some of the best young stars in the league, so it’s certainly not all bad for the veteran guard.

As for Rondo, some believe he could be waived which would make him a free agent. The Grizzlies have yet to make a decision, although one could come sooner rather than later. In terms of the Clippers, they were looking to unload roster players as they were over the limit. Whether or not this move will make a difference for them in Kawhi Leonard’s absence, remains to be seen.
