My Chemical Romance Returns With ‘The Foundations Of Decay,’ Their First Song In Eight Years

In October 2019, My Chemical Romance delivered exciting news to its fans. The band announced a reunion concert in Los Angeles, news that was shared six years after the band split in 2013. A short time later, the band announced their first North American tour in nearly a decade, a string of shows that they eventually had to postpone until this year. In the nine years since their band’s split and eventual reunion, My Chemical Romance only released one song, that being 2014’s “Fake Your Death.” At long last, that drought is now over as they return with “The Foundations Of Decay.”

The brash record clocks in at six minutes and it’s led by none other than the band’s longtime front vocalist Gerard Way. The record touches on the battles one faces in life and the scars it leaves you with. “The Foundations Of Decay” also mentions 9/11 through its lyrics, an event that inspired My Chemical Romance’s start in 2001. “And he was there, the day the towers fell / And so he wandered down the road,” Way sings. “And we would all build towers of our own / Only to watch the roots corrode / But it’s much too late / You’re in the race.”

My Chemical Romance dropped their record as they prepare to perform at a number of festivals in the coming weeks. The band is set to make appearances at Riot Fest, Firefly, and When We Were Young.

Cardi B Talks DJ Will Getting “Spicy” At Club, He Says “I Never Meant Any Disrespect”

It was a bit of a messy situation when Cardi B and Offset had a night out in New York. We recently reported on the videos of the Hip Hop couple at a nightclub where the DJ stirred the pot when he not only gave Nicki Minaj a shout-out, but allegedly mentioned certain neighborhoods and gang references. Cardi got on a mic of her own and said she wanted all of the smoke, and now DJ Will, the man on the turntables that evening, has surfaced with a response.

“I’m reading so many stories and narratives about things that happened and didn’t happen and I just want to clear the air,” said Will before he read his statement.

“Last night in the club, a promoter, manager, passed me along information to shout out and unknowingly I ran with it. I never meant any disrespect to Cardi B, Offset, their family, friends, or fans in any way, shape, or form. It was an honest mistake and I feel horrible about it. Normally, that is something I would never do. I always check and double-check information but I was caught up in what I thought was a Hip Hop moment.”

“I accept my responsibility for what happened and send my heartfelt apologies to Cardi B and Offset. I meant no malice, it was definitely no set up, I was simply there to rock the party, which is what I do.” Cardi has also shared her reaction to the events in an audio clip where she said she doesn’t care about what artists are shouted out or played in the club, but when it comes to getting “spicy” about the streets, people forget that she and Offset are “gangstas.”

A$AP Rocky Refuses To Entertain Opinions About Travis Scott Copying Him

Prior to the full release of his Drink Champs interview, Travis Scott and A$AP Rocky became trending topics together after a teaser was shared. The platform hyped Rocky’s recent appearance with a captivating trailer that seemingly showed the New York rapper agreeing that Scott copied his entire style. The quotes circulated and it was assumed that Rocky was dissing the Houston hitmaker, but in the full clip, Rocky said that he doesn’t entertain those opinions.

Noreaga said, “One thing that kept popping up on the internet is, ‘Travis Scott stole his whole style,” to which Rocky answered, “Yeah.” The host continued, “…From A$AP Rocky,” and the rapper recognized that Nore was choosing his words carefully. “He trying to figure out how to ask this question,” said Rocky.

“Is that something that you entertain?” asked Noreaga.

“Nah, you can’t feed into petty sh*t like that, you know what I’m sayin’?” Rocky replied. “Like, at this point, that sh*t trash at this point.” Nore wanted to know if he ever felt like that. “I mean, I saw similarities, for sure. I saw that he was inspired and sh*t like that, but that’s what we in it for. Like, that’s good sportsmanship,” the rapper added.

“Imitiation is the best form of flattery. If people wasn’t trying to imitate you, you doing something wrong.” Check out the clip below.

Chaney Jones Pays Tribute to Kanye West with New Tattoo

Chaney Jones is making her love for Ye permanent.

Kanye West’s new girlfriend appears to have tatted his name on her body. The 24-year-old model shared a series of photos on Instagram Stories, and eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice a “Ye” tattoo on her left wrist in one pic.

It’s unclear when she got the new ink, but this would be the latest sign that the couple’s relationship is heating up. The Yeezy mogul and model have been dating since February following Ye’s split from Julia Fox.

Back in March, Ye bought a $275,000 Birkin bag for his “muse” and the pair went on a “baecation” to the luxury Amangiri resort in Utah. The Kim Kardashian look-alike also accompanied Ye on a business trip to Japan last month.

Meanwhile, Pete Davidson has been showing love to Kim with his own tattoos, including one that says “My Girl Is a Lawyer.” He also recently debuted a neck tattoo that reads “KNSCP,” which could represent the four kids Kim shares with Ye–North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
