The last time we witnessed Juelz in a Verzuz battle, he and the entire Diplomats were destroyed by Jadakiss. Juelz will have a chance to redeem himself if this new battle between him and Memphis Bleek happens.

Julez is so confident that he’s1 in a different class from Bleek that he went on N.O.R.E’s Drink Champs show and downplays the competition.

“”I don’t’ think he want that,”” he said. “”I don’t’ even want to say that. He’s’ going to want what he wants, but the people don’t’ want that. I don’t’ want that. Matter fact, you could have that one. But Bleek good, though. I fuck with Bleek. I ain’t’ taking nothing away from him either, but I just put myself up there.””

He didn’t stop there. Julez elaborated on why Bleek could see him in a Verzuz.

“You can’t’ put me with him. That’s just it. As far as protégés and shit like that, I mean, n-ggas may say something about Juelz ain’t’ go as far as he’s’ supposed to ”cause I’m’ really supposed to be where Lil Wayne is at, but I can’t’ put him next to me.”

Memphis Bleek heard Santana and quickly responded. He took it to Twitter to share his reaction. Bleek clarified that he wants the smoke with Julez if they do a Verzuz.

T-Pain Reveals He Makes More Money Playing Video Games Than He Has From Music

T-Pain is an avid gamer, and there’s no doubt that there is a ton of money in gaming, maybe even more than in music. You would think that throughout his career, T-Pain would have made a ridiculous amount of money. On Steve-O’s Wild Ride! podcast, T-Pain revealed that he’s actually made more money from gaming than he has from music.

“I’m making more money off of video games than I have made in the last four years,” T-Pain said. “Just playing them. Playing video games.”

He added that he doesn’t know why Twitch keeps throwing more and more money at him. And despite his love for video games, he admits that he’s not even good at them.

“I think that’s what makes it better,” he said. “I mean there are definitely good players out there that make a ton of money, but I think the entertainment that comes from somebody like me being trash at it, I think that’s just more valuable and more entertaining.”

Elsewhere in the interview, T-Pain revealed that at one point his music career was so low that he found himself completely broke. He added that he wished more established artists would have told him.

“After I went through that whole episode I found out if I would have known that other artists have gone through this, people I look up to if they would have just said, ‘Look, it’s not all great. It’s not gonna be fine this whole time.’ If I woulda known that, I would have been mentally prepared, first of all, I would have prepared myself financially.”

Hulu Drops Trailer For Upcoming Mike Tyson Mini-Series Starring Trevante Rhodes

Yesterday, Hulu dropped the trailer for their upcoming Mike mini-series which chronicles the life and career of Mike Tyson.

The 8-episode series is created by I, Tonya writer Steven Rogers. Hulu calls the upcoming series “an unauthorized and no-holds-barred look at the life of Mike Tyson.” Mike stars Moonlight’s Trevante Rhodes as Mike Tyson, Spiderman: Homecoming’s Laura Harrier as Robin Givens, and BMF’s Russell Hornsby as Don King.

Mike Tyson called for a boycott last year after the show was announced. In an Instagram post, he said that the streamer’s series was “unauthorized” and called it a “tone-deaf cultural misappropriation of the Tyson life story.”

“Hulu’s announcement to do an unauthorized mini-series of the Tyson story without compensation, although unfortunate, isn’t surprising. This announcement on the heels of social disparities in our country is a prime example of how Hulu’s corporate greed led to this tone-deaf cultural misappropriation of the Tyson life story.  To make this announcement during Black History Month only confirms Hulu’s concern for dollars over respect for black story rights.”

In a statement released shortly after, Tyson said that he had been waiting for a while to tell his story and that the only one that is authorized is the Martin Scorcessee produced, Antoine Fuqua directed, and Jamie Foxx led limited series that is currently in production.

“I have been looking to tell my story for quite some time,” Tyson said in the statement. “With the recent launch of Legends Only League and the excitement from fans following my return to the ring, now feels like the perfect moment. I look forward to collaborating with Martin, Antoine, Jamie, and the entire creative team to bring audiences a series that not only captures my professional and personal journey but also inspires and entertains.”

Foxx had even shared a shirtless picture of himself 2 years ago as he was undergoing his body transformation to be like Mike Tyson during his prime. However, very little about the project has been said or even mentioned.

Mike premieres on August 25 exlusively on Hulu.

21 Savage Explains How Meek Mill and Jay-Z Helped Him Get Released From ICE Custody

In February of 2019, the hip-hop world was shocked to hear that 21 Savage had been arrested and detained by ICE because he was living in the U.S. with an expired visa. While many were shocked by the arrest, many were also shocked by the fact that the Atlanta artist is actually British. Nonetheless, 21 was caught up in a very serious situation and we’re glad he found a way out of it.

On the latest episode of My Expert Opinion with Math Hoffa, 21 spoke on his situation with ICE and revealed that Meek Mill played a role in helping him get out of custody. 21 explains that when he got locked up, he called Meek Mill and told him he was in jail. Meek told Jay-Z who got a lawyer on the case.

“They detained me ’cause they said I had felony conviction, but the felony conviction got dismissed. And I called Meek while I was in jail and told Meek, ‘Bro, I just got locked up.’ [Meek] called Jay-Z, and Jay-Z put a lawyer on my case … [he] played a role in getting me out of there.”

Hov had called Alex Spiro to assist in 21’s legal battle and called the arrest an “absolute travesty” in a statement released soon after 21’s arrest.

“The arrest and detention of 21 Savage is an absolute travesty, his U visa petition has been pending for 4 years. In addition to being a successful recording artist, 21 deserves to be reunited with his children immediately, #Free21Savage.”

21 went on to express his gratitude to Jay for helping him get out of custody.

“[Jay’s] ain’t just doing that shit for anybody, just ’cause you rap …,” he said. “It’s like you gotta be from a certain cloth … I don’t feel like he’s just doing that for anybody. I ain’t Roc Nation or any of that shit.”

Lisa Raye has seen all of the Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey discourse online. After a source stated Harvey was not looking for anything long-term, Lisa Raye returned to the statement as “bullshit.”

Speaking on the Cocktails With Queens podcast, Lisa Raye provided reasoning for her “bullshit” claim.

“When a woman finds a good one, then that’s what you’re looking for, but I will say that she’s young still,” Lisa Raye said.”She’s been looking for something to keep on her arm, to be able to have a relationship with, that is meaningful and is successful, because we know that the girl wants to keep somebody who is going to be newsworthy.”

Last weekend, Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan ended their relationship. According to PEOPLE, the Hollywood heartthrobs have ended their year-plus long relationship, and both are “completely heartbroken” but “still love each other.”

A source for Lori Harvey reveals she was not “ready to commit” to the Creed actor and is ready to move on. “She is very focused on her career,” a source told PEOPLE. The insider also stated Harvey “realized that they weren’t on the same page” when discussing their futures.

“She still wants to have fun and be free,” the source says. “Michael is a great guy. She is sad that their relationship didn’t work out, but she is moving on.”

J. Prince Calls Wack 100 “Club House Gang Banger,” Wack Responds

J. Prince spoke out against recent actions by Wack 100 during a visit to the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast.

“When I see one trying to shit on 2Pac, trying to shit on Nipsey, trying to shit on the homie Big U out there, trying to shit on Master P. Good niggas, real niggas. Meek Mill. I see a nigga get on a podcast with another rat and go off on 21 Savage. I’m like, ‘Oh, this nigga got diarrhea of the mouth. He like full of shit, right. He the type of nigga that will take a shit in the bed and blame it on the baby. Imagine that. You take a raw shit in the bed and say, ‘That’s the baby shit.’ This is how he go about trying to change the narrative and different shit about the truth.”

The rat that J. Prince is referencing is Tekashi 6ix9ine, who Wack 100 has aligned with for management. Later in the conversation, J. Prince would call Wack a rat as well.

“What be real cold about it is, some people get lost along the way, and they’ll roll off a cliff with Officer Rat 100,” J. Prince added. “I don’t like the shit, man. I’m gonna calm down and let y’all talk. I don’t believe in using a rat. Some niggas call ’em punks. I remember calling ’em sissies. He like a sissy to me. He’s a sissified nigga to me. Just for the record, I don’t want all the smoke that one talking about. I know how to put all that out.”

J. Prince would then double down on his sentiments, sharing the clip of his comments on Instagram and letting off another set of words:

“Quit screaming piru officer rat 100, they don’t claim you rat. You’re a club house gang banger with two members that can’t walk in your own hood.

My brother Larry Hoover has been locked underground in inhumane treatment for 26 years and this clown is working to stop him from living above ground in freedom. The true definition of a bad seed at birth.”

But of course, Wack 100 won’t take this without giving a response. Wack hit Instagram showing legal documents against J. Prince Jr.:

Migos Will No Longer Perform at Governors Ball, Lil Wayne to Fill In

If you were looking to see Migos perform at Governors Ball 2022, it won’t happen. The forthcoming festival will not have the trio of Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff, which the festival states are due to “circumstances out of our control.”

The show’s cancellation comes as the trio is rumored to be in the midst of a breakup. A representative for Migos told TMZ the scheduled date was nixed due to Quavo filming a movie.

In replacement, Lil Wayne will take the stage for Governors Ball.

Rumors of the Migos breakup began swirling after Quavo and Takeoff released a single titled “Hotel Lobby.” Before the release, Offset and his wife, Cardi B, unfollowed the other two members. DJ Akademiks caught up with TMZ and revealed the breakup rumors have no legs.

“They might be going through a small disagreement or whatever,” Ak said. “I think that they’re angling it because, you know, Takeoff and Quavo just put out a song, so they’re kind of letting it lie, letting the questions linger or something like that.”

Akademiks added, “But at the end of the day, they’re family. Offset confirmed that to me, too. Maybe if it was the City Girls that unfollowed each other, but the Migos? Come on, I just can’t see a gangster group — like, the only sign of trouble is them hitting unfollow.”

Nick Cannon Reportedly Expecting Baby No. 9 with Abby De La Rosa

Nick Cannon‘s baby No. 9 is loading. TMZ notes Nick Cannon and Abby De La Rosa have another baby coming.

Abby’s due date is Oct. 25, following twins that they had a year ago. Currently, rumors are flying that Abby will be having twins again, but that portion is unconfirmed.

Abby delivered Zillion and Zion in June 2021. In the same month, Cannon welcomed Zen with model Alyssa Scott. Zen would, unfortunately, pass away at 5-months-old.

Nick Cannon announced baby No. 8 is on the way in a January baby shower with Bre Tiesi.

Over the weekend, Nick Cannon revealed to the hosts of Lip Service that he will have more kids on the way. “I was supposed to make it to the top of the year, but obviously I started to go through some stuff, but I got depressed with the loss of my son,” said Nick.

“Everybody saw I was so down, so everybody was like, ‘Let’s just give him a little vagina, that’s gonna cure it all,’” he said. “So I fell victim to it.”

Juelz Santana was the latest rapper to hit Drink Champs. During his session with N.O.R.E. and D.J. E.F.N., Santana spoke about his career, arrest at the airport, and more, but also how he became a lean drinker.

When asked about his lean addiction, Santana said he was unable to stop at the time because of the withdrawal effects. “I was addicted to the point to where I was drinking it every day and if I stopped drinking it, yeah, I would’ve got sick ’cause that’s what happens with the opiates and shit. Withdrawals and stuff.”

Santana would state that his introduction to lean came from Paul Wall.

“[Paul Wall] kind of introduced me to it a little bit, just on some ‘Taste it,’ you know what I mean? I’m a grown-ass man, I do what I want,” Santana said. “He put me on and you know, me and Wayne being close and recording that album at the time didn’t help.”
