[WATCH] Mike Tyson Smokes With Ric Flair And Rick Ross After Airplane Knockout

Screen Shot 2022 04 23 at 9.36.50 AM

After a stressful flight from San Francisco where he had to put hands on an annoying passenger, Mike Tyson decided that the best way to blow off steam was actually by sharing a joint with rapper Rick Ross and wrestling legend Ric Flair and just blowing smoke.

Tyson was seen with Slick Ric and Ricky Rozay at the Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference afterparty at LIV Miami smoking and joking, probably about the knockout incident on his JetBlue flight just 24 hours earlier. Tyson was reportedly scheduled to speak at the conference, but his appearance was apparently cancelled after the passenger beatdown video went viral.

As we previously reported, a viral video shows Tyson brutally putting the beats on a flight passenger who has now been identified as Melvin Townsend, II, with eyewitnesses saying Townsend was visibly intoxicated and continued to provoke the boxing legend. It was even reported that Townsend threw a water bottle at Tyson, but his lawyer denies that claim.

“When Mike Tyson boarded the plane, he became overly excited,” the lawyer told TMZ. “At first, their interaction was cordial. At a certain point, Mr. Tyson clearly became agitated by an overly excited fan and began to strike him in an excessive manner. This situation could have been avoided simply by contacting the flight attendant. Our client denies throwing a water bottle prior to being struck by Mr. Tyson.”

Will Smith’s ‘Bright’ Sequel Scrapped at Netflix, Additional Projects Delayed

Will Smith may have a lot of work offers but Netflix isn’t one of them. According to Bloomberg’s Lucas Shaw, Netflix is giving up on a sequel to Smith’s Sci-Fi action film Bright. The sequel’s cancellation is not associated with the slap of Chris Rock.

Just last summer, a report cited the film was in the final stages of creating a script, bringing back Smith, Joel Edgerton, and director David Ayer. Netflix’s Fast and Loose film, which stars Smith, is now in slower development.

Smith’s show with National Geographic is experiencing a delay; however, the show will continue. Outside of those two projects, Bad Boys‘ latest sequel is still in development.

According to The Mirror, industry experts expect Will Smith to be invited to the small screen to establish his comeback and could appear in lesser budget action films.

Marketing consultant Jeff Kelly stated his ban was “harsh” but expects Will Smith to recover due to Hollywood’s obsession with a redemption arc. “Smaller budget companies will want to bring him on board to make movies, most likely in the action genre, using his name and cache, which they believe audiences still value.”

Another option would be television. With the Oscars being silver screen dominant, a return to TV for Big Willie is possible. “The Oscars centers on films, so TV networks hiring him in some capacity are not off the table.”

King Push is officially back. Pusha T has returned with his fourth album, It’s Almost Dry, which is entirely produced by Kanye West and Pharrell Williams.

The new album features the singles “Neck & Wrist”, “Diet Coke” and “Hear Me Clearly.”

“I had the best of both worlds in regards to production and in regards to two people that actually understand who I am and they like two different things from me that I feel are both really great,” Pusha T said to Charlamagne in an interview previewing the album. “This body of work is untouchable because it doesn’t lean too heavy on either side…you get the whole spectrum. It’s my most well-rounded body of work.”

Speaking with Complex, Push added: “This is a legacy thing with me. This is all about being great. This is the realest real estate in hip-hop, and I’m the Martin Scorsese of it. I’m the novel. I’m the fucking Godfather trilogy.”

Southside Calls on Future and Travis Scott for “Hold That Heat” Video

ab67616d0000b2734f410ee7ae9379cc30d07c50

Southside teamed up with Travis Scott and Future to deliver a new track just before the summer called “Hold That Heat.” Southside created a trippy trap beat that fits the style of both Travis and Pluto.

Travis takes over the course with the repetitive anthem style hook, using a deep cadence in his voice he raps;

“Hold that, hold that heater (Yeah, yeah, Pluto) Hold that, hold that heater (Yeah, yeah) Hold that, hold that heater (Cactus Jack) Hold that, hold that heater (Yeah, yeah) Hold that, hold that heater (Yeah, yeah) Hold that, hold that heater (Yeah, yeah) Hold that, hold that heater.”

The horror film-inspired music video opens with the 808 Mafia producer smoking a blunt, staring at himself in the mirror. Travis is rapping his verse while weirdly holding a leach with a pet alligator, and Future does his verse in a rotating red hallway.

It’s unclear who’s project this song will appear on. Southside’s last album came in 2022 when he collaborated with Doe Boy on Demons R Us. Future just announced that his album would drop on April 29, and Trav is still promoting Utopia.

Travis Scott has been slowly revamping his image since his 2021 Astroworld massacre. He’s launched Project HEAL and has made a few appearances. He also makes an appearance on Kanye West’s Donda 2. Over the weekend, although he didn’t take the stage at Coachella, he did perform at the Revolve x Bootsy Bellows After Party.

21 Savage To Perform at ‘Summer of Peace’ Event for Atlanta Teens

21 Savage's Manager Says the Rapper's Feature Price is 6 Figures

21 Savage is one of the most ferocious rappers in Hip-Hop, but he’s always been a peace advocate. His philanthropy efforts impact communities just as great as his music does.

To combine his art and advocacy, 21 Savage has agreed to perform Atlanta’s first-ever “Summer of Peace Anti-Gun Violence” initiative.

Yesterday, Atlanta city officials and several local leaders gathered to announce this event. The “Summer of Peace Anti-Gun Violence” is a private event that will take place on May 5 at the campus of Clark Atlanta University. It’s expected to be 500 teenagers from the Atlanta Public Schools and Fulton County Schools in attendance.

Savage isn’t new to giving back. Last year the Grammy Award-winning rapper held his sixth annual “Issa Back 2 School Drive” and provided school supplies to thousands of kids and families.

In 2019, St Laurent Don donated $25,000 to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

He released his sophomore LP, I Am > I Was, in December 2018. He gifted $16,000 in Amazon gift cards to youngsters who attended the album’s companion interactive Motel 21 activation in Decatur, Georgia.

He also visited several colleges and STEM schools in metro Atlanta, along with U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.), to lead 21st Century Banking Workshops, cross-topic fireside chats featuring discussions on financial capabilities, career opportunities in the music business, gang violence, and gun control.

Despite the Slaughter Gang leader’s musical graphic musical content, he has always promoted peace. It’s evident in his tweets. Below is a few 21 Savage tweets where he’s sending a positive message.

The Kid LAROI Returns with First Single of 2022 “Thousand Miles”

unnamed 5 1

The Kid LAROI releases “Thousand Miles,” his much-awaited first single of the year. The new hit is complemented by Christian Breslauer’s blockbuster music video. Andrew Watt and Louis Bell, two of LAROI’s most powerful co-producers, are on board.

In the video, which also stars Katarina Deme, LAROI does something he’s never done before: he confronts himself. As LAROI encounters his one true opponent, “Thousand Miles” takes on new significance thanks to the accompanying video, which is daring, poetic, and dramatic.

“It was just [Andrew] Watt just had this guitar idea that he had made and he just pulled it up and I just started ripping it at his house on the mic,” LAROI said of the single to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1. “And we just put it together and then we went and took it to Lou to go in on the production with Watt. And yeah, I mean, the rest is… I mean, yeah, we kind of made that song. I loved it. At the time, I was like, oh my gosh, I love this song so much.

“I just put it up and I guess the fans just really… They liked it. And I guess, I don’t know. Let’s just give it to them. it’s been like 10 months since I dropped music, and 10 months in internet time is like 10 years.”
