Cardi B, just gave fans a hint at the status of her long gestating second album, revealing that the project’s cover art has been shot. 

Looks like the “Bodak Yellow” rapper from the BX, is in album mode and that matters.

This hot news comes as fans eagerly await the follow-up to “Invasion of Privacy”, which was released in 2018 and earned her a Grammy for Best Rap Album. Sheesh, 2018. We need this new project!

Get this, the update came after a fan on X (formerly Twitter) posted a gif of someone standing on a helicopter’s edge, joking about traveling to France to find Cardi the Hermes bag she wants. Oh bet she did joke about that.

Cardi responded by in the Cardi of B of ways …

“If you find me the bag I’ll release my album cover.” Another fan quickly picked up on her comment, tweeting, “So the album cover is ready is what I’m hearing,” to which Cardi replied, “Album covers are taken….I just don’t know which to pick.”

As ya’ll probably know, Cardi B has faced a whole lotta smoke over the delay of her sophomore album, which she addressed in a July episode of “The Joe Budden Podcast”. 

Joe Budden remarked off the hip as he does, “We’ll never get another Cardi album again. I am standing on it.” In response, Cardi fired back in a clip shared on X, saying: 

“I don’t give a f— when people talk s— about me. It’s the fact you always talk s— about me, Joe Budden. Out of nowhere, you would think I did something to this n—-… For the past two years, this n—- has only talked bad things about me, constantly.”

Anyways, Cardi let fans know back in March that her album would be released in 2024, she later backtracked in May, saying, “anyway NO album this year I don’t care I’m relaxing this year ..Dropping these features I already committed to and traveling and enjoying my summer.”

The wait continues and we’re here for it.

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Shannon, 52, opened up about the strained relationship between her and Simone. “Of course, I would accept her help,” Shannon stated, adding that Simone has not extended any financial support to her thus far. “I’m here. I’m okay,” she said, reflecting on her situation.

Simone, now an accomplished and celebrated Olympic gymnast, was separated from her birth mother as a child due to Shannon’s struggles with substance abuse. Shannon lost custody of her four children, including Simone, who was later adopted by her maternal grandfather Ron and his wife Nellie Biles, who raised her in Texas. Despite her remarkable success, Simone has chosen to maintain her distance from Shannon, who continues to live in the same modest row house in the crime-ridden neighborhood of Franklinton, Ohio.

While Simone’s life has been marked by extraordinary achievements, it has not been without its share of scrutiny. Recently, Simone found herself addressing criticism from online trolls after sharing a video of herself enjoying a luxury shopping spree following her victorious performance at the Olympic Games. Some critics took issue with her flaunting her wealth, particularly after she was seen with an Hermès handbag. Simone responded to the backlash on Threads, cheekily clarifying that the expensive handbag was actually a gift from her adoptive parents, writing, “My parents bought me my Hermès bag. Spokesperson For Trump Campaign Weirdly Uses Beyoncé’s Hit Song ‘Freedom’

They really are “weird.” We’re not saying who they are but ya’ll can take a wild guess … Okay, let’s get to it. 

So some spokesperson for former President Trump’s campaign recently commandeered Beyoncé’s hit song “Freedom” in a social media video featuring Trump. This raised eyebrows due to the song’s official connection to Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign. 

The video, posted by Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung on the platform X, shows Trump walking off a plane in Michigan with “Freedom” playing in the background. We’re not sure if he did his normal waive to no one but back to the post …

Cheung captioned the post with, “Touchdown in Michigan!! @realDonaldTrump.”

With that song? Weird.

As ya’ll may know, the use of “Freedom” is particularly noteworthy because the record has been frequently used by Vice President Harris throughout her campaign. Officially.

As reported by several outlets, Beyoncé granted the Harris campaign permission to use the song during her presidential campaign. 

Harris has been prominently featuring the track in several campaign events and even in her first ad when she announced her bid for the White House last month. 

To dive in how weird it is that Cheung used that song, during the first day of the Democratic National Convention, Democrats released a new ad that included an a cappella version of “Freedom.” 

It’s basically VP Harris’ campaign theme song in so many words.

The anthem, powerful for a myriad of reasons, references the history of slavery and police brutality. Beyoncé is singing about breaking chains and Kendrick Lamar is rapping about his experiences with police and calls for social justice. Drake did say always rapping about freeing – KIDDING. We won’t go there.

Anyway, when asked about the video featuring “Freedom,” Cheung responded simply with, “Freedom, freedom!”

Like we said, weird.

Dame Dash is sweetening the pot on his pending Roc-a-Fella sale. Hitting Instagram, Dash announced he would throw in a Roc-A-Fella chain to whoever is the lucky buyer.

“As we all know, one-third of Roc-A-Fella Inc. which owns Reasonable Doubt is for sale and I’ve gotten a lot of calls, a lot of offers,” Dash said. “I’ve definitely got some very healthy offers and I appreciate those.

“So if you do wanna buy one-third of Roc-A-Fella Inc., you are gonna have to bring some bread. And anything over $10 million, I’m gonna sweeten the pot: you get an original Roc-A-Fella chain from off my neck.”

Dame Dash heard about JAY-Z’s legal filing, stating a claim to Reasonable Doubt in 2031. His response: “This shit is still for sale.”

The battle over the rights to Jay-Z’s iconic debut album, Reasonable Doubt, is nearing its conclusion. Recent legal filings reveal that the full ownership of the album will officially transfer to Jay-Z in 2031. This news comes as Dame Dash, co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records, is facing the public auction of his 33.3% stake in the company, scheduled for later this month.

TMZ states that the U.S. Marshals will auction Dash’s shares in Roc-A-Fella Records, with a minimum bid set at $1.2 million. This auction follows years of Dash attempting to sell his shares, culminating in this forced sale. The proceeds from the auction are intended to cover a judgment from a civil suit Dash lost in 2022 to Josh Webber and Muddy Waters Pictures over defamation and copyright infringement related to the film Dear Frank.

The recent filing by Jay-Z’s legal team further complicates the value of Dash’s stake in Roc-A-Fella. The document confirms that the rights to Reasonable Doubt, released in 1996, will transfer from Roc-A-Fella to Jay-Z’s ownership under his real name, Shawn Carter, in 2031. This shift was already set to happen 35 years after the album’s release. Still, the filing makes it official, indicating that whoever wins the auction will only receive a portion of the album’s revenue for the next six years.

Usher Postpones Shows on ‘Past Present Future’ Tour Due to Neck Injury

R&B superstar Usher has announced the postponement of several shows on his highly anticipated “Past Present Future” tour after suffering a neck injury during rehearsals. The artist, who had already canceled his opening night concert on August 14, took to Instagram on Thursday to share that he’s rescheduling his first three Atlanta dates to allow more time for recovery.

“Earlier this week, I suffered an injury to my neck while rehearsing to provide my fans with the greatest Usher show of all time,” Usher wrote in his post. “My hope was that with physical therapy and medical treatment, I would be able to overcome the injury and be ready for opening night. Unfortunately, the injury has not healed yet, and my doctors have instructed me not to perform any shows this week.”

Despite the setback, Usher reassured fans that with appropriate rest and treatment, he should be ready to resume the tour in Washington, D.C., on August 20. “I love my fans and thank you for understanding that this injury must be healed so that I can give you the 100% excellence that you expect from an Usher show,” he added. “I will be on stage in your city very soon.”

The rescheduled Atlanta shows will now take place at State Farm Arena on December 9, 10, and 12, instead of the originally planned August 14, 16, and 17. Usher initially postponed his first show, citing the need to “give my body a second to rest and heal,” though he did not disclose the nature of his injury at the time.

Reflecting on his decision to delay the tour, Usher expressed his commitment to delivering an unforgettable experience for his fans. “For my 30-plus year career, 100% of my blood, sweat, and tears has gone into putting on the best performance and creating a memorable experience for my fans,” he wrote in a since-deleted post. “You’re still going to get a bit of the past, some of the present, and a unique look into the future on the rescheduled date, but you’ll also be getting 100% of me.”

The postponement marks a rare pause in what has been a whirlwind few years for Usher. The singer headlined the 2024 Super Bowl earlier this year and wrapped up his 100-show “My Way” Las Vegas residency in December 2023. The “Past Present Future” tour, which includes stops across North America and Europe, is set to run through May 2025.

The Rihanna music return rumors are back running rampant.

The latest comes from The Sun, which states that Rihanna is looking to release the album and embark on a world tour throughout 2025. Additionally, Rihanna is believed to headline next summer’s Glastonbury festival. She was originally scheduled to perform at the fest in 2023 before becoming pregnant with her second child.

An insider added:

“It’s been a running joke how long Rihanna’s ninth album has taken to be released, but finally the wait is almost over.

“Over the years so many songs have been recorded with loads of different people, including Alesso and Diplo.

“She has gone from pop to reggae to hip-hop and everything in between. But because she wants it to sound fresh, and because of where Rihanna is at in her life, practically everything was scrapped.

“Some have been reworked but the majority was canned completely when she went back to the drawing board earlier this year.

“Rihanna has been back in the studio for a while now and things are finally coming together.”

Kehlani Granted Sole Custody Amidst Legal Battle with Ex Javaughn Young-White

The custody battle between recording artist Kehlani and her ex, Javaughn Young-White, has taken a dramatic turn. Last week, Young-White, the father of Kehlani’s 5-year-old daughter Adeya, filed for full custody of their child, claiming he had been prevented from seeing her. However, recent developments reveal a deeper and more complex situation.

According to TMZ, two months ago, Kehlani was granted temporary sole custody of Adeya, along with a restraining order against Young-White. The singer’s legal actions followed a disturbing incident in June, when, according to court documents, Young-White allegedly smashed through Kehlani’s locked bedroom door during a heated argument. Kehlani claims that the confrontation began after she questioned him about a notice she received, indicating that he had applied for public assistance.

At the time, Young-White was reportedly living in Kehlani’s back house, a situation that she describes as increasingly untenable. The singer alleges that her ex spent his days smoking weed, using magic mushrooms, and isolating himself in a room she described as a “pigsty.” Things escalated during the June incident when Young-White allegedly broke into Kehlani’s room, verbally assaulted her, and blamed her for their daughter’s birth, claiming that he was “trapped” and that his life had been “ruined.”

Kehlani’s concerns extend beyond her personal safety. She alleges that Young-White’s behavior and lifestyle posed a risk to their daughter. Kehlani claims that Adeya would spend significant time in the back house with her father, often returning reeking of marijuana. She further alleges that Young-White, under the influence of drugs, would go on religious rants, leading her to fear for Adeya’s well-being.

Following the June altercation, Kehlani reportedly asked Young-White to leave. When she went to check the back house after his departure, she found it littered with weed, food, trash, and debris. She also expressed deep concern over Young-White’s erratic behavior, noting that he had blocked her and seemingly disappeared after their fight. Despite this, he would still occasionally pick up Adeya from school, leaving Kehlani in the dark about their whereabouts.

Given the gravity of Kehlani’s allegations, a judge granted her a temporary restraining order against Young-White, prohibiting him from contacting her or coming within 100 yards of her or their daughter. The judge also awarded Kehlani temporary sole custody of Adeya, at least until a hearing scheduled for next month.

Young-White’s recent filing for full custody adds another layer of complexity to the situation. As the court date approaches, the battle over Adeya’s custody is set to intensify, with both parents now seeking to secure their roles in her life.

For now, Kehlani continues to have sole custody of Adeya, but the outcome of the upcoming hearing will determine the future of this high-stakes custody battle.

Court Documents Reveal Kevin Hart Used Molly During 2017 Cheating Incident

Legal documents have revealed Kevin Hart ingested Molly during the weekend he cheated on his wife in 2017. The moment resulted in Hart issuing an apology online.

Page Six obtained a copy of the deposition logged in the Los Angeles Superior Court, included in a lawsuit from Jonathan “JT” Jackson against Hart. An unidentified friend revealed Hart initially denied the drug before telling, DAI Robin Letourneau, “F–k it, I said, and I put it in my drink.”

He added, “I had some water there. It was watered down. Because it’s in my drink, I’m fine. I’m fine with drinking. The night is good.”

Hart revealed he then went with the woman he cheated with, Montia Sabbag, and another woman named Morgan to his hotel room. The pair fell asleep. “I had sex with her the following morning. She woke me up,” Hart said.

He later realized Montia would attempt to lead him to the hidden camera where Hart was filmed in an alleged extortion attempt. Jackson would be arrested and charged with two felony counts of extortion that would be dropped.

Now, Jackson is seeking $12 million in damages.

In other Hart extortion news, the comedian filed a lawsuit against his former personal assistant, Miesha Shakes, and gossip vlogger Tasha K, accusing them of attempting to extort him. Now, Shakes is fighting back, seeking dismissal from the lawsuit.

In Touch reports that Miesha Shakes has asked a Los Angeles judge to remove her from the bombshell civil extortion case. According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Shakes denies all allegations of wrongdoing brought against her by Hart, 45.

Last year, Hart sued Shakes over an interview she did with YouTuber Tasha K. He claimed that Shakes made false statements and disclosed information she learned during her employment with him, which violated a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) she signed after leaving her position. Shakes worked for Hart from 2017 to 2020.

Shakes’ legal team argued that Hart “failed to plead specifically which statements they contend are false and defamatory or which facts [he] contends are true and an invasion of privacy.” They also stated that Hart’s claims are barred “because the statements challenged as false and defamatory, to the extent they can be determined, are substantially true.”

Moreover, Shakes asserted that her statements were not defamatory and “constitute expressions of protection opinion.” She claimed she did not act with malice and did not cause Hart any damage.

Regarding the NDA, Shakes’ lawyer argued that the contract was “invalid/illegal and cannot be enforced based on mental or physical incapacity which prevented [Miesha] from having the legal capacity to enter into or understand the alleged contract(s).”
