Jamie Foxx Still Not “100%” Despite Recent Appearances

It’s been a tough few months for Jamie Foxx fans. The actor was suddenly hospitalized in April while on the set of his upcoming Netflix film, Back In Action. It was the latest in a long series of issues that had hampered production. Furthermore, the coverage of Foxx’s hospitalization was a mess, with Foxx seemingly both on the verge of death and recovering well. After many conflicting reports about his status, his daughter revealed in mid-May that he had been out of the hospital for several weeks. However, for the time being, Foxx continues to recover in private.

However, Foxx has begun to make public appearances in recent weeks. He has been seen at TopGolf as well as playing pickleball. Furthermore, John Boyega gave a positive update from the premiere of They Cloned Tyrone. “He finally picked up the phone. Thank you, bro,” Boyega said. “He’s doing well. And then, you know, we just giving him the privacy, and we can’t wait for his return.” He continued: “I gave him the well wishes directly. I gave him all the well wishes. So I’m just gonna be waiting until he comes back out here. So take your time, Jamie. We love you, bro.”

However, Foxx’s public appearances should not be an indication that the actor is at 100% health. “Jamie is doing so much better and he’s starting to feel like himself again. He’s not 100 percent and is still taking things easy, but he’s definitely on the road to recovery,” a source told Us Weekly. Furthermore, additional sources clarified the situation with Page Six. “[He has a] huge support system around him and his friends and family are making sure that he doesn’t take on too much,” the source explained.

Furthermore, Foxx is Foxx is “feeling really good and is excited to get back to work once the time is right,” the source added. “He is getting the best care and working hard to recover right now, but he is still not himself,” a source previously told PEOPLE. Furthermore, the source noted that the actor’s inner circle is still tightly guarding the cause of his sudden hospitalization. “He has the tightest circle around him,” the source explained. Speculation has run wild about what put Foxx in the hospital, including a number of unsavory theories related to the COVID-19 vaccine. Furthermore, particularly incendiary claims made by columnist A.J. Benza on the web show Ask Dr. Drew led to a rep for Foxx speaking out. The spokesperson called the claims “completely inaccurate.”

John Boyega Says Jamie Foxx Is “All Good” Following Health Scare

In April, Jamie Foxx was hospitalized following a medical emergency. Since then, updates on the status of his health have been few and far between. Moreover, the updates the public has received have been on the vague side, with various family members and friends of Foxx’s claiming he’s doing fine. Foxx has yet to make a public statement on his own health, and he hasn’t been seen since the reported health scare. Rumors even circulated that suggested Foxx was partially paralyzed, blind, and more. Those rumors were eventually squashed by family members, who claimed they were false. The actor was also reported to have suffered a stroke, which has not been confirmed.

According to one of Foxx’s co-stars of the film They Cloned Tyrone, the actor is doing okay. During a recent interview with ET Canada, John Boyega was asked about the status of Foxx’s health. When the outlet asked him whether or not he’s spoken to Foxx lately, he responded, “He’s all good. He’s all good.” He went on to say, “So we’re just going to wait for him to reappear when he wants to.” Another one of his They Cloned Tyrone co-stars, Teyonah Parris, added “Giving people space to heal how they need to.”

“He’s handled this situation with the same manner,” Cannon explained, “you only can respect that.” According to reports, Foxx has been undergoing treatment at a physical rehabilitation center in Chicago. Family members say that the actor has been “recovering well.”

Jamie Foxx Still “Not Himself” As Recovery Continues

It’s been a tough few months for Jamie Foxx fans. The actor was suddenly hospitalized in April while on the set of his upcoming Netflix film, Back In Action. It was the latest in a long series of issues that had hampered production. Furthermore, the coverage of Foxx’s hospitalization was a mess, with Foxx seemingly both on the verge of death and recovering well. After many conflicting reports about his status, his daughter revealed in mid-May that he had been out of the hospital for several weeks. However, for the time being, Foxx continues to recover in private.

Updates about the actor have been few and far between, with his family seemingly eager to not justify the rampant speculation and source leaking. Meanwhile, a number of Foxx’s celebrity friends have come out to give vague updates or simply send their best wishes to the veteran performer. However, we have yet another source with yet another update, courtesy of PEOPLE.

“He is getting the best care and working hard to recover right now, but he is still not himself,” a source told PEOPLE.

However, the latest source reveal came just after hours after several people spoke about Foxx at the premiere of They Cloned Tyrone. John Boyega, who stars in the film alongside Foxx, said that he was recently able to speak with Foxx on the phone after several failed attempts in recent weeks.

Jamie Foxx Out Of Hopsital “For Weeks” According To Daughter

Jamie Foxx has finally left hospital nearly a month after suffering a medical emergency on set. The news comes from Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, via Instagram. “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!”. Foxx was originally hospitalized on April 11 after collapsing on the set of his new Netflix film, Back In Action.

The news comes as something of a surprise, given that the latest reports from “sources close to the situation” indicated the complete opposite. As recently as May 11, outlets were reportedly being told by sources that Foxx’s family was preparing for the worst. However, Corinne Foxx’s message may point to the media’s overeagerness to report on the situation.

Foxx’s Hospitalisation Plagued With Conflicting Accounts

Everyone from TMZ to PEOPLE reportedly has a source “close to Foxx” who has been feeding them information ever since he was hospitalized. However, the battle for exclusives has created a confusing and contradictory timeline. Foxx’s Instagram posts for the first time since his hospitalization, only for Kevin Hart to say that nothing’s changed. One person tells PEOPLE he’s in stable condition on May 7, only for Radar Online to claim his family is “preparing for the worst” on May 10.

Additional fuel has been thrown on the fire by the fact that no images of Foxx has emerged. His family has chosen not to release any during updates, including in Corinne’s latest post. This has led some fans to question whether his family are attempting to deflect media speculation as Foxx continues to struggle. Regardless, it’s wonderful to hear a positive update from someone so close to Foxx. We at HotNewHipHop hope he recovers fully and quickly and that there is more good news to report soon.

Damar Hamlin’s Breathing Tube Removed Amid Hospital Recovery

A new health update has been released for Buffalo Bills star Damar Hamlin following his collapse at the beginning of this past Monday’s NFL game.

The 24-year-old was intubated and placed in the intensive care unit after suffering a heart attack on the field. But now, Hamlin is recovering without the breathing tube, his team revealed on Friday morning (Dec. 6).

He’s also able to talk with loved ones after previously having to communicate by writing messages on a clipboard.

“Per the physicians at UCMC, Damar’s breathing tube was removed overnight. He continues to progress remarkably in his recovery,” the Buffalo Bills confirmed via their Twitter. “His neurologic function remains intact and he has been able to talk to his family and care team.”

Hamlin awoke this past Wednesday and was also able to move his hands and feet. After asking who won the game against the Cincinnati Bengals, doctors responded back, “Yes, Damar, you won. You won the game of life.”

Monday’s game was postponed shortly after the Pennsylvania native’s medical emergency during the first quarter. Sports commentator Skip Bayless faced backlash after some accused him of an insensitive tweet in the wake of Hamlin’s frightening collapse.

“No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how?” he wrote on Twitter Monday night. “This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.”

After catching heat online, he went on to address the situation on “Undisputed,” with co-host Shannon Sharpe urging him to delete the now-viral tweet. Refusing, Bayless firmly shot back on the Fox Sports show, “I stand by what I tweeted.”

A number of athletes responded to the 71-year-old on social media, including NBA star Isaiah Thomas. “I hope they fire you bro!!! For you to even THINK of the game is very sad,” he tweeted at Bayless earlier this week.

Darrell Revis also wrote back in response. “All u care about is football when Damar Hamlin’s life is at risk. coming from u i expected more. this tweet is not. u of all people should know better bro,” the famed NFL cornerback tweeted.

As of now, Bayless has stayed true to his word in not deleting the controversial tweet.

Jeremy Renner Speaks Out While Recovering From Snow Plow Accident

After being a victim of a recent snow plow accident and being rushed to the intensive care unit, actor Jeremy Renner offered his fans and loved ones an update while in a hospital bed.

Sharing a selfie with bruises covering his face, Renner revealed on Instagram Tuesday that he’s “too messed up now to type.” But he thanked everyone for their support nonetheless.

“Thank you all for your kind words,” the Hurt Locker actor wrote, adding, “Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.”

Several celebrities entered his comments to lend their support. Fellow Avengers star Chris Hemsworth wrote underneath the post, “Speedy recovery buddy. Sending love your way!”

Chris Evans added, “Tough as nails. Love you buddy.”

Sending his love, Chris Evans also commented. “Continued prayers your way brutha,” the Guardians of the Galaxy actor wrote, adding a heart emoji.

According to the Reno-Gazette Journal, the 51-year-old was run over by a snow plow after it began to roll near his property. Renner was reportedly helping someone remove their car from the snow shortly before the accident occurred.

Revealing that foul play is not believed to be a factor in this case, Sheriff Darin Balaam shared about the incident in a recent press conference, “An eyewitness detailed seeing Mr. Renner getting into the PistenBully and not seeing him again until the Pistenbully came to rest in a pile of snow in front of his driveway,” continuing, “We believe this is a tragic accident.”
